Re-watching Soul Land Donghua - Commentary

I've been a big fan of this donghua since the first time I came across it, and I always come back to it. I adore the characters, the colors, the music, literally everything about it.

This rewatch, I'm going to post a running commentary.

I'm watching Soul Land donghua and my bro saw me watching it. He started to do his hobby, questioning why I like to watch C-dramas and donghuas. Then he asked about what I'm watching and I explained it quickly. Just a quick explanation. Then he said, "Why do chinese animations have weird stories? I saw a chinese animation where there's this academy of whatever and one of the characters, a girl, came in a room, fought the boss, won and became the boss of the room and slept next to the boy she defeated. What's up with that? So weird." I paused the episode, turned to him and repeated what he said just to be sure. My bro said, "Yeah, that's what I said." I laughed before saying "Dude, that's what I'm watching." And he came over to have a look. "The girl wears bunny ears, doesn't she?" I asked. He said yeah. Then his 'questioning me on consuming chinese entertainment' attitude turned to 'why didn't you tell me you're watching that?' attitude and started asking about the donghua in a matter of seconds 😭👍🏻

I admire the world bulding and most of the characters, but since the protagonist became too OP I started thinking about dropping the show.

Coffee or tea: I like to drink both, but I can have coffee only few times a week, because my stomach can't handle it. I guess, I will go with tea.
