How did you come up with Douglas' boyfriend Thomas?

I honestly don't even remember? I know i wanted Douglas to have a bf but didn't love the selection from the shows; I kind of wanted it to be just... a guy.

Nothing super special about him. Not a superhero, or villain, or genius. He's just some dork who works at a hardware and electronic parts store.

And he's supposed to be like... the contrary of Krane and Giselle. Someone who's genuinely interested in Douglas, not in his technology or intelligence.

Thomas is also a reset for him. Someone who doesn't really know his past (he does learn, of course) and doesn't really care.

I remember the first words that Douglas says to him is "I know what you're thinking, but don't worry, I'm a good guy now," or something like that.

For the record though, I do love the idea of Douglas being friends with TecHertz. Like I hadn't even thought of it before getting this ask, but I do love the idea.

Especially if Douglas is like... their mutual friend. So he's each of their friend's separately, especially if it's before they start dating.

Also, if you want to hear/read more about Thomas, let me know, because I do have story started for them but I'm not sure if it's worth pursuing.

Okay, I'm going to preface this with... why can he not just be single? Is that not allowed?

Because like... I don't ship Horace with anyone either, why is that okay, but not shipping Douglas with someone is like... unheard of?

But to answer your questions, if I did have to ship him with someone, I do have an oc; Thomas. I'm pretty sure I've even talked about him on here, which is why I'm so surprised that you're asking. But I did scroll on the Douglas davenport search on my blog and nothing for Thomas came up, so I guess you have a pass there.

But yeah, I don't really ship Douglas with anyone.
