I think the reason I love kekkai sensen is because I love kitchen sink insane fantasy worlds and it just gives it to me just as I like it. Like everything I wanted from an urban fantasy fiction. Like when I say I love the kitchen sink worlds this is what I am talking about media specifically made for me.

How it treats magic or monsters or difficult dimensions or fantasy species is exactly how I love to see. And also casual civilian life part of series it's always there big part of series and it's feels the world so lived I love it.

It's an extremely chaotic rule of cool fantasy manga with exaggerated characters and violence and absurdity everywhere but also if you consider the world it happens it's just slice of life. Where we focus on daily life of our characters. No epic saga no big adventure as main focus.

I recently finished Kakegurui on Netflix and I’m sad cos I didn’t realise how old it was & it seems like they aren’t going to continue it. I saw something about them having something else on Netflix idk if it was a spinoff or a prequel or something but it was something else to do with Kakegurui. I might check it out, but I really wanna see more seasons of Kakegurui I also can’t remember if it’s down to Netflix or I think I might’ve seen something about the manga idk if it’s cos there’s not like any new updates on that side so there’s nothing for them to make another season from. I can’t really remember tbh my memory sucks but I know I googled it and it seemed unlikely. I have a bad habit of picking anime’s that just die and never get renewed or whatever. Tbh I could do with new anime recs I’ve only more recently ish gotten back into watching anime again well mostly over Covid but sometimes I can be really selective about what to watch mostly just cos sometimes I can lose interest easily or my attention sucks. I recently watched chainsaw man & I really liked Dorohedero. Ages ago I watched future diary that was really good & no game no life I really liked both of them ofc Death Note, there are others I really liked too and some that I started watching that were good but by the time the next season came out I’d forgotten about it & just never really got back into it. I’m terrible like that it’s why I prefer watching already finished stuff that I can just binge watch.
