Would you ship Doom and Emma?

It highly depends, (I mean I don’t usually say no to ships but I do have a few that are NOTPs or just “I see them better in a different kind of relationship” but also I can be convinced if the content is quality stuff) mainly because while I think this ship would be totally kick ass, two powerful people just ready to take over the world, crushing their enemies beneath their very expensive heels/metal boots. I do tend to go for ships where a level of trust AT SOME POINT can be built. 

Like my ships can hate the hell out of each other or be madly crushing on the other but without the trust there, or a kernel of a seed of trust that could either grow or not then I don’t see myself shipping it long term, maybe a headcanon like “oh yes they totally banged and it was amazing” Doom sends Emma expensive flowers made out of diamonds from time to time to pay ode to her beauty etc. I did enjoy them taking each other’s measure when they first met:

However both Emma and Victor are the toppest tops to ever top, and they would be constantly trying to one up each other. Also they are not each other’s types imo. You see Emma doesn’t like to let herself be vulnerable and it takes a lot to pry her out of her diamond shell. With Victor around she won’t ever have a chance to rest her head on her partners shoulder or let her mind wander and not be worried about infringing on another mind, to her Scott’s mind was her safe place. Namor doesn’t hide secrets from anyone, though he does sometimes hide away things because he doesn’t like share (ex: private thoughts) but Victor is not given to ever letting his guard down, or letting his mind be open to anyone. I feel for telepath characters they need to have a character who is their safe port in the storm, Victor is the storm.

For Victor, Emma is not his type, sad to say that he doesn’t like blondes and most of his partners have been dark haired women, and I theorize that it all comes back to his mommy issues because the women he does tend to harvest deep focus on look very similar to Cynthia Von Doom. (Listen SueDoom is not valid in any universe. Also the current woman that Cantwell is pushing in the comics as Victor’s future wife? I have very big suspicions about her because she just isn’t his usual type)

So while I LOVE the Cabal with Namor, Lady Loki, Emma, and Doom and consider them to be the mean girls of the marvel universe and would totally love more team ups/frenemies stuff with them, I really don’t think Emma and Victor would be anything I have a huge interest in because they both wear their armor and they both need someone else to help them shed it for a while and remember what it’s like to be loved and to be human.
