They had a long conversation about it - mostly because E.X was so nervous about explaining it. Hels really was happy with just knowing, but he's glad that E.X has been so clear with him. They've even worked out ways to communicate with each other in heated moments, to determine if E.X is happy to continue or not.

It's brought them closer. It's something E.X never expected, but is infinitely grateful for.

For the theme!

Xisuma is the captain of a very well known group of pirates, and Keralis is a very charming merman... They are, as history books would put it, 'great friends '

There's rumours of how nobody who attacks the hermits lives to tell the tale. As a crew, they don't attack unprovoked. In the taverns, people say you'd have to be a fool to cross them.

Their secret lies beneath the waves.

Mers have a different culture completely to humans. They aren't mindlessly aggressive creatures, but killing is part of life. The ocean does not follow the same rules as the land.

So, if anybody attacks Keralis's partner, he tears their ship apart.

He takes great delight in the way the wood creaks and snaps, or the way the metal bends and rings as he scratches it. There's great joy in destruction and Keralis savours every bit of it.

Xisuma wishes Keralis were maybe a little less bloodthirsty at times, but he has learnt not to attack their allies and that's good enough for X. He knows he can't change Keralis's nature, and he'd never want to. Keralis is perfect in all his inhuman glory.

For this prompt all I can think of is Wormman and E.X.-

Anyways Wormman was too pathetic to kill so E.X. Kisses him instead (no one is complaining)

It's an unspoken agreement between the villains, really. Hurting Wormman is basically kicking a puppy. He's pathetic. He hasn't hurt a single villain and not for lack of trying. They aren't convinced he even knows how to throw a punch.

E.X is just the one who took it one step further. He happened to come across Wormman as a civilian, smiling as he worked. It shouldn't have been a surprise that Wormman is the same as a civilian as he is a hero, but it's endearing. An endearing surprise.

So he puts on the flirt in and out of the suit. He learns about Wormman on a different level. The ins and outs of what makes him smile, what makes him laugh.

Maybe he's still a bit of a pathetic hero. But he's E.X's pathetic hero.

Sure, Welscest could be unhealthy and sex driven but I instead bring to you the idea of non-sexual nudity where they go over all the stretch marks and scars and marks that the other person has and just appreciate each other

They often make a game of it. Counting how many marks across their skin match, or how many don't. Though they've heard all the stories before, they'll tell each other how they got a scar whilst the other gently strokes it.

It's fascinating to them how they can be made from the same blueprint, but still be such different people.
