i truly don’t understand what makes someone fake did, especially the whole taking parts of others trauma to make themselves look more “real” thing. every time i hear about it fucking baffles me. like what possesses someone to do that? i can’t imagine faking an disorder, let alone using people who actually have that disorder and their real life suffering to “validate” it like it’s some type of act. just that behavior alone indicates theres something wrong w al them, that something just ain’t did. i’m sorry people have done this to you and effected your real life relationships in the processes, that’s so unbelievably fucked.

Half of them don't even actively plan it, I assure you. They just do what they need to do to fit in, convince themselves that it's justified. Valid. That they've suffered enough that it doesn't matter if what they said is true or not. Everything is trauma, right? They are victims always and everything a victim does is justified, right?

Doesn't matter who they hurt. Where the ideas come from. The impact their lies have on the community they want to be included in. Victims do no wrong after all :)
