i GOT to get a backstrap loom going one of these days too. i want to weave. i crave it. i loved making that strip of woven fabric that i now use as hand towels but i want more possibilities. the strip of fabric can only be so wide with the loom i have. but i CAN steal the shuttles from it for backstrap weaving. i could even steal the heddle if i want to do something that thin or thinner. but the point is kind of to. not do that.

#i mean for my first backstrap loom ill probably do something kinda thin bc i dont wanna commit to a huge project as a test #especially since im not very familiar with warping looms yet (only done it once) so if i do a little bit less its probably for the better #i also SO want to try tablet weaving but i need to make some cards for that. and also look up a pattern.#dont need a pattern for plain weave. just a good back and forth meditative rhythm.
