You force your heavy lids open and face a nearby window. It's dark, now that your senses are flooding in you hear scribbling. Through static vision you see Law hunched on his desk, going over and revising what you're assuming to be the agenda for the next island you guys were heading. "..Law, why the hell are you still awake?" Your voice is groggy; pulling yourself off the bed you approach him. "[Name]-ya, listen.." he yawns, inked hands covering his mouth to be polite. "I need to finish this before we get to the island." Law's voice is just as groggy as yours. "My guy," You state, grabbing his arm. "We're going the fuck to sleep, how are we gonna execute a plan if you're not in top shape?" Dragging him to the bed "i-" "I nothing Law, bed now," as you push him onto the bed; you join him, wrapping your arms around him. As you drifted back into your slumber you hear law mutter under his breath "I love you [name] ya". You don't even have the energy to say it back, so you hum the phrase in response.

helloo sorry for the really late reply but yeah!

so my fav thing about rtd is how he writes the characters and their relationships, they just feel so organic and realistic. like the companions are really the main characters in his era and he makes sure we get to know them and their life even outside of the doctor. however i will never forgive him for the treatment martha got and other poc characters in general (i hope this gets better in this new era). also in this second era so far, even tho he includes a lot of rep, i don’t love how some of it has been handled so far? like for example even tho the star beast was focusing on rose’s (and the doctor’s) trans identity, it was really giving “cis person writing trans characters” and idk it was kinda weird (idk if there were trans ppl in the writer’s room but wouldn’t be surprised if there weren’t). like yes i’m glad trans people got so much focus there but you know it’s not exempt from criticism!

then moffat’s era has this really magical feel to me and i can’t deny he writes a lot of really good stories, also the 12th doctor is my favourite so yeah. but obviously there’s the whole issue of how he writes women thinking that feminism means when women sexy, shoot gun and slap men. also his companions are not as well rounded as rtd’s imo and their life kinda revolves around the doctor (maybe except bill). then this was an issue mainly in 11’s run, where the doctor was treated like the most important being in the universe, which i personally don’t like, but thankfully that got better with 12. he also introduced all these big ass arcs like the silence or the hybrid but i don’t think he was able to satisfyingly tie them up.

chibnall was def taking a lot of risks with the show and i liked that he was doing something different. the 13th doctor is very dear to me and i will always be number 1 timeless child defender. also sacha dhawan was by FAR my favourite part of his era he absolutely ate and his master is my fav doctor who character now!! but otherwise i can’t deny that his era was kinda.. meh? like he had a lot of interesting concepts but i don’t think he really delivered on most of them. the companions were okay but didn’t really stand out to me too much compared to past companions. like honestly i didn’t feel like yaz really got to shine until like flux, which is wayy to late for a companion that was on the show for that long.

so yeahh that’s all i can think of rn! dw is my fav show ever so there’s something i love in each era but yeah still a lot of other stuff i don’t love so much. obv this are just my opinions and if you disagree that’s fine!!

God no, wtf kind of logic is that, you can or not do something, as in shipping, or stanning or being an anti, for literally ANY reason including no reason, I repeat, you dont need a single fucking reason, much less a "valid" one, there is literally nothing called a valid reason when it comes to fandom bc all reasons are valid at the end of the day, since it's ffs JUST fiction. If you dont ship/stan something popular good for you, hang out w your rare pairs and fall in love w your minor characters, you want to write terrible fucking incoherent anti-metas about a character that's very popular, go ahead DO IT, literally nothing should stop you, it is not problematic to HATE an objectively good character w absolutely no reason, it's not problematic to LOVE a scumbag character for the shallowest reason, it's not problematic to condone evil acts done by your fav character and praise them and love them for it, it is not problematic to want a character killed simply bc they mildly grate you, it is not problematic to do or feel anything about a character as long as your aware that this character or ship cannot be removed from their fictional world and you are simply judging a fictional object who's actions and principles are bound to the fictional world they exist in and cannot in any way affect the real world beyond the value of entertainment.

7. Is there anything you used to like but can’t stand now?

oh lmao I wouldnt have been able to understand this question yesterday, but like today I was again hunting scenes for gifs, and I found that Marcel actually holds no appeal to me, in fact, If Elijah decided to slap his head off, I wouldnt have minded at all. Also I was a forwood shipper at the time but now I look at them and have this inexplicable urge to scratch something.

10. Most disliked arc? Why?

Redemption arcs, jfc I HATE THEM, mostly bc my ability to perceive villains shuttles between two distinct opposites, "They are depraved, and evil and everything wrong in this world and I LOVE THEM." or "They are depraved and evil and everything wrong in the world and I HATE THEM" there is literally no in between, so in the first case I love them precisely because they are the scourge of the earth, and a redemption arc [not that I've ever seen one done even mildly ok-ish for the characters to actually redeem them] will literally work to unfuck their fuckiness that I absolutely ADORE. So no I do not want redemption arcs for them at all, and on the flip side when I hate an evil character the only redemption I will accept is them being of good use to the maggots that feast on their dead rotten corpse.

Name your top 5 favorite anime/manga! (or cartoons/shows if you’re not into anime and manga)

Here we go!

 1.      Beastars – Haru is right there in my profile pic you can't expect anything else. The anime is perfectly fine and I adore the op and the ed but it’s the manga where it’s really at. It remains one of the only manga where I could consistently keep up despite not being hugely involved with the fandom and I adore the world, I adore the characters and most of all I adore the expressions. The anime really suffers from having to be pretty and not allowing for the amount of stupid goat faces Louis makes, or Legosi’s puppy excitability or Haru just being a fucking wierdo. The only complaint I have is that I wish the girls got more screen time, they are amazing every time they appear I just wish they had more of a chance to. Especially Juno, Juno really suffered from being just dropped out of the plot. Also one of the lions’ should have been Louis’ age so they could have been gay together, like ye Louis’s ending makes sense but you will never be able to take away ‘I feel more at ease surrounded by male carnivores then with a female herbivore’, just let Louis be gay oh my god, even his fucking dad saw it. Anyway Beastars is great and I love it very much and I am very sad it’s done ;-;

 2.      Re: Creators – I have very conflicted opinions about this one, despite it being number two. I really owe it an objective rewatch because the second part of it really slapped me in the face with the sudden boatload of fanservice so much that it soured my opinion on it through the rest of the show. Paired with both of my favs getting the short end of the stick in two different ways, by the end of Re Creators I was left with a rather bitter taste in my mouth so I really want to see how it holds up once I know what will happen. So why is it so high up if all I do is complain about it? The first part was just that amazing. It was the first and only time I watched an anime and felt ‘wow this was written for ME, this was written with someone like me in mind’. A story has never felt so personal and so lovingly crafted and I just adored every bit of it and god every time I think about the good aspects of it I want to sit down and rewatch it again to reevaluate the bad. In the end it felt personal, it felt like it was speaking to me and it felt heartfelt and cared for and that for me is something special. Also Magane really needs her own show, like I remember thinking ‘shes izaya but better’ and if that doesn’t scream she needs her own show I don’t know what does. Still bitter at the way they just dropped her at the end my god.

 3.      Durarara – This one has been a giant in my fandom experience. I wrote my first fanfiction for Durarara and one of very indulgent self-insert stories lead to me roleplaying in private for the first time and the person I roleplayed with eventually introduced me to group roleplay (Blu if ur reading this I love u <3) so it kinda lead to the way I’m mostly active in fandom today and some of my favorite OC’s originated from making Durarara OC’s not to mention Izaya remaining one of my favorite characters ever and someone who I look to whenever I want to make a fun villain. Durarara is a show that is filled with complex human interactions and at some points it really seems like a love letter to humanity. We are all weird, we all have our rich inner lives, even people who look ordinary get up to some stuff you would never have guessed, that’s what it feels like it’s saying. I don’t know there is no objective way to talk about it because it’s been so ingrained in my fandom experience it will simply always remain one of my favorites, no two ways about it. The fics I wrote for Durarara when I was a teen were cringy af and horribly planned but I received so much positive comments and support and I think that always remained a big part of why I kept on writing and why I felt that writing is something that I’m good at. Even now, knowing how bad they were it just motivates me more to keep on improving and whenever I feel down about my writing I always think ‘well people liked that trash and this is better so some people will like this too’. It’s also the reason why I can’t stand cringe culture, honestly I think I’m even more grateful to all the people who saw my baby fics went ‘yikes that’s edgy’ and then didn’t comment, those guys were the real troopers.

  4.      Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki- Kun – number four is where the going gets tough because of my poor memory and differentiating shows I watched, remembered and liked, from shows that left some kind of impact. Nozaki-kun is a dumbass comedy anime/manga and it’s the only manga I can remember ever making me consistently laugh at loud and I feel that that earns it number four spot well enough. The characters are all just lovable and stupid and lovably stupid, and I honestly can’t say there is a pair I dislike. Like it never feels like ‘oh its x character chapter yawn’ it’s always a fun time no matter what the matchup is. I don’t have anything smart to say about it, it makes me laugh, it’s a good time, it doesn’t take itself seriously I love it.

 5.      Servamp – this really shouldn’t be here because I stopped halfway through the manga and STILL haven’t caught up. But Servamp is the manga that’s constantly on my mind and I never stop thinking ‘man I really should catch up’. The only reason I haven’t is cuz I’m so terribly bad at reading stuff online even though the arc I left off was tense and I really want to know what happened with Tsurugi and Wrath was just given a time to shine and aaaaa one day I’ll catch up. There’s really nothing to say about this show, it’s dumbass vampire shonen and I’m really not sure why I like it so much. The character designs are fun and on point and anime is kinda horrible CUZ THEY DIDN’T PUT IN A WHOLE ARC WHO DOES THAT, but the op is delightfully edgy and the ed is a shameless high school theater style rip off of the kekkai sensen sen ed which is just amazing in how bad and awkward it is. This ed is such awkward dumb trash and I somehow just love it more for it, like it’s so bold about being a trashy rip off, bby what is you doing. Honestly I can’t say anything objective about this series cuz it’s been so long since I actually read it but it lives in my head rent free and that must count for something. Slaps gold star on.

I feel like I should also mention Bnha cuz its the fandom I’m most active in but hvhjvj I mostly like the fanside of BNHA rather than the show itself. For the show itself i think its good with some great moments but that’s about it. I’m just here for fan shit cuz hori made such a wonderful sandbox.

1) Starship bc im in love with Bug and the music slaps! The premise of it is so sweet, and some of the characters are a little 2D but the main ones are so relatable and fun. Also youve got tootsie and megagirls standout romance, and like denise said its a musical for dreamers, which i love. also the sets and the puppet characters are amazing are you kidding me?? Oh my god!!! THE PUPPETS!!!!!!! Its so special aaaaah god

2) TGWDLM bc i just think its rly high quality and all the components of it work rly well together! i enjoy it greatly, the plot is so fun and it balances jokes and emotions so well. The characters are all A++ and its a really enjoyable watch!! Ive seen it so many times and it never gets old

3) AVPM series because its just so iconic, and i cant pick a fav out of the 3. Theyre not the highest quality musicals but theyre So enjoyable to watch and have so many amazing treasured characters lol, and theyre funny as Fuck

4) Trail to oregon bc its a v fun, hilarious musical! I love the audience participation, i love the jokes, the characters r funny and the songs r all so nice i love to sing along to them

5) black friday bc its v high quality and i do love it but its not..my favourite? I feel like maybe i just haven't had long enough to obsess over it like i have the others. Points for the amazing lighting, camerawork n music tho, that stuff was all incredible. The acting was also amazing, and it was a lot darker and emotional than the other musicals, which i can appreciate even if i set a bit of a heavy vibe for me. The characters were all very individual and interesting too!

5) Spies Are Forever bc....well i just love it, we've got that lgbt rep and its quite unique! I love the character growth we see in all the characters and i likr the historical aspect of it. the villains are very good too ;) and like. The first time i listened i wasjt too sure abt the music but now i Love it. Also its probably only musical that made me cry. (ik it's tcb but im counting it)

6) Twisted. Another very high quality musical! I can appreciate how good it is, its not my personal fav otherwise itd rank higher but its very good in a lot of aspects. It's cool to see the 'villains' pov and its very funny

7) Firebringer. V quirky lil musical, the music is good but it doesnt rly stand out to me like it does in other musicals. Love the characters n plot tho! The costumes r also v good, and the set design, and the relationships between characters.

8) holy musical b@man. its never been my fav but batman and superman are very funny characters. the songs arent all my fav but i do quite like some of em! generally imo tho the characters arent quite as likeable as the other musicals, tho i do love batman and supermans rivalry to friendship

9) me and my dick. its a little weird and the plot is... Strange but joey and dick are funny, and joey and sally r quite cute. Its not great quality but i don't mind it and some of the songs r quite good!

10) Ani. I just....dont really remember anything from ani lmao i watched it a few months ago but it didnt rly stand out at all. I know it was quite funny tho, esp jar jar binks, moff tarkin and obi wan kenobi. Also joe walker ran in a crop top once so points for that hkdnfjf

The first character I first fell in love with: tbh it were always those sassy bunbutts gazimon? :’D i had this exact picture as my profile photo on my very first blog when i was a lil tyke and look at me now i havent changed a thing.. But from humans i liked Hikari and Takeru and their partners a lot.. And Puppetmon and Demi and Mummymon an-....The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:  wait was this only the original adventure or 02 too? well anyway you are getting Daisuke because holy shit kid!me sure didnt expect to cry about this boy as much and often as i do know.. He was so obnoxious in the czech dub and i just saw him as Taichi v0.2... I guess Mimi too for similar reasons? Not very fond of dub!Mimi but now i understand the error in my ways..  Oh and also floppy and i blame you entirely. The character everyone else loves that I don’t: hmmmmm i guess Taichi? im just a bit salty about the way he treats Daisuke? and Takeru but thats covered in another question.. and if Tri brings back Vamdemon AGAIN FOR FUCKS SAKE IM GOIN TO EAT MY DIGI PLUSHIES.
