Ive never interracted with your art more than just liking it on twitter (may have left like 2 comments b4 I don remember) but I enjoy Cassim and the lore you have created for them + Gortash! Getting to learn more about the lore behind ur artworks has been enlightening.

You have previously inspired me to create lore for my own baldurs g8 character that feels just as satisfying as your own realizations about Cas :)

If I ever play baldurs g8 again it will be very weird to talk to Gort bc I will misremember that he is not typically surrounded by a giant gray demon that makes fun of him for being fat

Could you talk about your infection au? I'm invested in it and I've been thinking about it all day

YES HULLO !! i dont want to spoil anything too much and im also working on a field guide sort of thing for the different stages of infection so im gonna try not to talk about those rite neow BUT im so glad that people r enjoying it! so id been seeing these scary mlp infection things ALLL over my tik tok feed for weeks and i was like .. yanno .. itd be really silly if i made this wof .. so i spent like 3 days mulling over what i could make the infection actually BE and i almost made it like the icewing plague but like it went scary but i didnt really know how to keep going with that so then i came up with a super smart idea which turned into this😋i dont wanna say where it started yet cuz ermm lore stuff but i will say that liek in the story the infection doesnt officially have a name yet so everyones just calling it like. the sickness at jade mountain. most of the infected originated IN jade mountain with the first symptoms being noticed in moon and turtle respectively, and then with the icewing students. i cant tell you guys how they got sick bc again . lore ..... but i think that its like kinda possible to find out. but i dunno. vulture and fierceteeth are also sick. there is ONE singular factor that unites these 4 + icewings, which miight b the reason WHY they got sick.kinkajou technically SHOULD be sick but she isnt for another reason that i cant say but if you really look into wof lore then i think u can figure it out idk. the infections transmitted via saliva/blood transmission, so mainly bites. tail barbs of infected sandwings are capable of spreading the sickness. there are 4 stages (5 if you count death) and it takes around 3 to 3.5 weeks for all stages to finish,, by ep3 the sickness has been around for ~2.5 weeks. the only KNOWN cure is amputation of wherever the infected area is,, so MUCH easier in early stages, unfortunate if its on an inconvenient spot, and impossible after hives start spreading. obvi flame had to be important bc i heart flame and i was like .. wait .. hes a healer in canon ...... so that worked out perfectly !! ik that in canon liana is like one of glorys MANY bodyguards but idc shes a healer here bc ermm i said so . also liana and mango r dating but i dont think that its relevant to the plot theyre just girlfriends in my head . as of right now kinkajou and peril are the only known immune dragons, with kinkajou for reasons currently unknown and peril bc . yknow . shes on fire . glory is in close contact with ruby and both kingdoms have taken measures to notify their kingdoms; the rainforest is under a sort of lockdown with rainwings on constant patrol/lookout for outsiders entering, they accept anyone who isnt infected to stay there for refuge while the skywing kingdom is in basically total lockdown other than ruby's messengers. ruby and glory also exchange their respective kingdoms medical knowledge, with the skywings having very good technology and rainwings having an expansive knowledge on medical herbs. nobody has heard from coral- the last thing she did was call for anemone's return back to the kingdom, and once she arrived, they all went underwater and have since then cut all outside contact. the mudwings are aware of the sickness but have so far done nothing about it; moorhen has warned her subjects but thats really it. i havent really decided what the sandwings or the icewings are up to but let me tell you guys its looking really rough for the icewings . so far it looks as though royal icewings are more resilient- tundras currently sick, but the sickness seems to be progressing much slower. this was initially believed to be because of the cold, but then other icewings started getting sick, and so its believed to just be a royal thing- likely something in their genetics. icicle is also sick but shes in stage 4 .. pray for my girl guys. lynx is helping snowfall out the best she can, but with the population getting increasingly sick seemingly spontaneously, its extremely difficult and stressful. the talons have quarantined sanctuary too. ok im outta characters but ya ty 4 the support!!

so back to the q…. im afraid i dont have any mind blowing tips. its normal to feel overwhelmed as a beginner, but everyone starts somewhere! i say familiarize urself with basic procreate shortcuts (loads of tutorials online) and always play around with their settings! it should be helpful for the learning process along the way.

for eg ermm i used to abuse the gradient maps settings to pretend i know shit ab colouring 😭💀 i still do tbh, except now i understand how it actually works and i can easily get the colours that i want.

some of the things i learned:

1. cool lineart (i always use this as a part of my render process)

2. art is subjective, pick any that you think suits your preference/is fun to use

for brush, do you prefer it round or textured? lots of pressure sensitivity or none? i like my brushes textured and with a good amount of pressure sensitivity. for blending, do you prefer the transition colour to appear smooth or textured/messy? i sometimes mix between both to give a sense of harmony, but i like it textured more. it all comes down to what feels right to you. pick a few artyles that you like and incorporate it into ur own! pretty basic tip but thats the best way that i know. just pretend ur a mad scientist trying to find cure for like cancer or sumn

3. personal opinion: brush type matters

dont listen when someone says the type of brush u use doesnt matter. yes you can draw with any brush. yes all brushes work the same way 🤯🤯🤯. but theres gotta be that ONE brush that just hits the spot for you, as if its made specially for Your Hands….. unfortunately theres no shortcut to finding Your Brush. it took me 4 years of endless experimenting to find mine.

if ur curious on what brushes i use, i have it listed in my carrd. however i still experiment a lot and dont rly bother to update it, but those should be what i use the most/my top favs !

Lyra has ADHD, Ethan, Silver and Kris all have autism all 3 of the protags have things that theyve only done, so like, Ethan battled Red on mt silver, Lyra did the time travel stuff with celebi, Kris did all the stuff in the ruins of Alph and all the stuff with the legendary dogs. also u might notice that in the lil drawing i did of them when theyre like, adventure age and stuff- Kris dosnt have one of the johto starters— thats cus like, in my ver at least- okay so like, Kris and Ethan where childhood besties, but like, Kris’ parents r team rocket scientists n kris moved away from new bark when team rocket disbanded n stuff, and their parents moved to hoenn, so kris’s starter is from the hoenn region. anyways they moved back to johto bc their parents heard abt the whole thing with team rocket trying to reform so, yeah- oh yeah and while kris was gone, lyra moved in, and when kris moved back they felt like ethan replaced them so they where more off on their ownish and stuff, but thoughtout their adventures kris warmed up to lyra and reconnected with ethan :D

NumberWon, the largest company/agency in Hamsin, has experienced several data leaks over the years, but one stands out as the most significant and more publicized. This breach occurred after one of their bigger promotional parties, a tradition that mixed staff and sometimes the public. The day after the event, it was discovered that a massive data breach had compromised and covered almost the entire company. The breach exposed sensitive information, like employee records, account logins, private communications, internal and internal scandals, and so much more. Someone (or a group) anonymously had access to every corner of NumberWon’s operations. The immediate question was.. Who had done this, and why? Rumors obviously quickly spread, with the most popular theory being that it was an inside job. HAMFO, very big news station, had reported on the leak, talking about the little information that the anonymous group or person had already made public. However, even they struggled to identify the culprit, with the strongest evidence pointing to someone who had been inside the building during the party. In response, NumberWon launched an investigation, even placing a bounty on the anonymous person. They were forced to reboot their entire system, eliminating all compromised data, redesigning their websites and accounts, and requiring all employees to sign all new NDAs and contracts. Despite their efforts to figure things out, the strongest lead remained that the breach had been an inside job. The mass hiring they had conducted shortly before the breach was less thorough than usual, and as a precaution, all new hires from that period were terminated immediately after the incident. This only fueled the speculation that the leak was carried out by someone within their own staff. At the end of it all, NumberWon still had no clue who was behind the breach. They had successfully rebooted everything anyway, so the mystery seemed die down, but some curiosity still wandered.. But this wouldn’t be a fun fact if I didn’t tell you who it was, right? Of course, no one at NumberWon or the public knows the truth, and HAMFO is working hard to avoid making the same mistake again..

Even years later, they still use it occasionally, whether for private conversations in public spaces or just an inside joke..

To Never Forget

Hey whoever reads this :) (I say it like that because I’m really not expecting anyone to find this at all lol) So, this is my first ever fanfic, and I’m kinda nervous. I love Sarah J. Maas’ works, but I have yet to finish the Throne of Glass series (I’m working on it as I type, I promise!). This is an Elorcan piece, but considering I’ve not actually got to their parts in ToG in going entirely off of Fanfics Ive read, because I fell in love with their dynamic and their characters :D. So anyway, wish me luck, enjoy, and dont be afraid to leave some constructive criticism.

CHAPTER ONE: BIRTHDAY BASH

Elide had always been the quiet one. Manon and Aelin were always centre of attention, with Asterin and Lysandra a close second. But on this one day a year, Elide had centre stage, and she hated it. Manon, being her older sister, had taken it on herself to plan a whole day of surprises and celebrations.

“It’s not everyday you turn 23! Learn to live a little Sis!” Elide rolled her eyes without looking up from her text book. She may be a year older, but that didn’t mean that her professor was going to give her a get out of a fail free card if she didn’t pass this upcoming test.

“Yeah, I get that, but I had a birthday last year and I’ll probably have one the next. Can’t we just pretend that I enjoyed every second, without me actually participating?” As she jotted down a few notes, Elide could feel her sisters stare burning holes into her forehead. “Besides, you’ll have way more fun without me. I know you hate the fact that I just stand on the sidelines.” Elide looked up at Manon over her glasses just as the doorbell rang.

Once Manon had left the room Elide sighed. She actually would love to go and let her hair down for once. To feel like she really could let loose. If it wasn’t for her birthday, and if she didn’t think that her sister and their friends would be making a big deal out of that fact, she might’ve contemplated going. But she really did need to study for this exam, she really did hate having everyones eyes on her, and they’d probably invite everyone they knew. And that would almost definitely include Lorcan Salvaterre.

“Where is she!?… What do you mean she’s not coming!?… Too right I’m shouting! There is no way in hell I’ve gone to all this effort for her to flake on me! ELIDE!!” Aelin’s voice echoed through the house like a foghorn, and Elide couldn’t help but chuckle. Oh, she knew she was in for a verbal lashing, but knowing Aelin, she probably had put a lot of effort into whatever they had planned for her. With that thought, Elide placed her textbooks and glasses on her desk, and with a sigh went downstairs to face the loving wrath of her oldest friend.

Well, their plans were almost exactly what Elide had imagined, and feared. They’d spent the whole mid morning and early afternoon shopping, with Aelin, Lysandra and Asterin chucking dresses upon dresses at Elide to try on, the length getting progressively shorter the longer they were there. After finally deciding on a mid-thigh length, dark green, figure hugging dress, that everyone agreed was made for her, Elide was dragged to a salon for what Asterin described as, “an all-in-one birthday body spar” which just meant that she was gonna get her hair done, with a manicure and pedicure thrown in.

Once back home, the girls had about an hour and a half before they needed to get ready to leave for their next torture destination. Elide knew she was exaggerating when the thought crossed her mind, considering the first half of the day had actually been quite fun, but the second half could prove to be traumatising enough to cover the whole day.

“Hello? Are you still with us birthday girl?” Lysandra’s perfectly manicured royal blue nails drifted in front of her eyes.

“Yeah, sorry,” A small apologetic grin pulled at Elide’s lips, “what was it you was all talking about?”

“We were just saying how Rowan is going to be bringing most of his fitness buddies tonight, and Dorian is going to be bringing Chaol, who in turn is bringing Yrene… hold on what was the one that you mentioned Aelin, Rowan’s friend? The one with the muscles?” Asterin waved her hand in front of her like the motion could conjure up the answer.

“Who? Lorcan?” Elide almost smacked herself in the mouth the second the name left her lips. Although all of Rowans friends could be described as muscular, Lorcan was the only one who wouldn’t be expected to attend any social gatherings, and therefore should’ve been the last name anyone guessed, let alone Elide. Four heads turned to face her as they all started grinning like feral cats.

“Well, that was who I was going to say, but seems like you have him on your mind already. Spill it girlie, is there something you want to tell us?” Asterin was giving Elide a look that told her that no matter what it took or how long, she was going to find everything out. Elide started playing with the hem of her shirt.

“Ermm, there’s nothing to tell really. At Dorian’s party last year, we… err…we talked and had a few drinks. Nothing happened, we just spent some time chatting. It was nice.” Elide shrugged and hoped that despite how hot she felt, that she wasn’t blushing. The four gossip hungry females staring at her didn’t seem entirely satisfied with her answer, and Elide knew that - despite the fact they might not grill her about it all now - this wasn’t going to be the end of the interrogations.

“Chatting? Haha, okay, okay El. Soooo… are you hoping he’s gonna be there tonight? Or hoping he isn’t?” Aelin wrapped an arm across Elides shoulders and gave her a small squeeze.

“I don’t know really. I can’t tell if it’ll be awkward to talk to him again. He might not even want to talk to me, which would be fine. Maybe it would be better if he didn’t show at all.” At that, Elide shrugged and stood up. “Come on. If I truly am going to get dragged to whatever it is you have planned, I want to make sure I look hot!”

With a cacophony of ‘woop’s and ‘yes’s the girls all jumped up and started getting ready for a night to remember.

I obtained an auto insurance policy in August 2007. In January 2008 (five months after the policy was purchased) I received my policy renewal. The renewal price was substantially more than the initially policy cost because the insurance company had written my original policy with innacurrate information (assumptions they made that were incorrect, there was no falsification on my part). I cancelled the policy and found a new provider. The insurance company then sent me a bill retroactively charging me for the original policy with the new information and premium changes. Can they retroactively charge me for the policy that I had already paid in full based on our original agreement? Does the insurance company have any legal recourse or right to collect this money? I already filed an official complaint with the NJ Dept. of Banking and Insurance and am waiting to hear back.
