Hey, stop re-uploading mods & don't download mod re-uploads!!!!

There are two creators MissChipsa (estrellka-chips) & Tiasha-sims that have huge mod-repacks/re-uploads online. One is Medieval gameplay ModPack 1.31 up on Patreon (with a paywalled version)--its since been deleted but still appears up on their bootsy, this is a 7.3GB re-upload. The other is hosted on vk, and the only version seems to be paywalled (big thanks to @cubiertodeflores for letting me know about this one).

Please don't download mod packs like this (even though it goes against many creators' TOU)...to name a few reasons:

You can't be sure the mods are up to date

You may not know what you're actually installing

Many mods have specific install instructions that require the user to read the instructions

Many mods have "choose your own" files and/or require "helper files" (looking at you food mods)

If you're tagged, then your mods are included--if you already knew about this and/or its not against your TOU, then please ignore me!!

Cyberpunk 2077 Chair and V's Flooring

Just a quick one that is so random I didn't even know what to name it 💛Cyberpunk Chair: I always liked this chair that is scattered around NC, I converted it and made it in all colours: There are 5 that are the ones from the actual game materials, then all colours in bright, pastels and darks, black + white + neutrals. I made an additional version with a dirty texture, all colours. It's classified as a dining chair and costs 15 simoleons. *PS johnny looks like he isn't sitting on chair properly but thats just my height slider, normal sims do sit on it just fine.

💛 Cyberpunk Floor Tile using the pattern from the floors in V's apartment. It has a slight shine and volume when light reflects on it. Made it in all colours: muted (most similar to the in game one in V's apartment), normal, bright, pastels, darks, black + white + neutrals Found in Misc, Tiles and Linoleum, 4simoleons.

💛Place in mods folder, find them in catalogue by searching moonbiscuitsims or cyberpunk. i was looking for a preset that looked like hunnybee 2.0 and sumahama combined for my postcard legacy so i made this!

im like 99.8% sure this doesnt work with reshade (unless u download the gshade shaders) i made this for gameplay (u can use it for screenies though) hence the lack of dof effects feel free to adjust to ur liking dont reupload without credit you can use this as a base for your presets if u upload the preset u made using this please credit me i recommend turning off these shaders (pirate bloom (you could keep this one) and prod_02_bloom) in gameplay but you dont need to if u dont like the blurriness then turn on deblur and smart_sharp

gshade tutorial by oshinsims i did use some lighting mods: milk thistle no glo + no blu and into the light

important toggles:

shift + 2 = ambientlight

shift + r = prod_02_bloom

shift + m = technicolor 2

shift + t = pirate_bloom

tragedy has struck

so a few months ago, when i hadnt been playing sims in a while, i uninstalled the game when i was moving stuff around on my pc drives (my friends were urging me to move marvel rivals to my ssd; needed to swap out where ts4 was for this.) noooow, months later, i have the hankering to play sims again and go to look into where i put my mods folder when i did the rearranging- id made a copy and put it in my downloads folder, or so i thought. so now ive come to realize my mods folder- like 175 gb(?) of mostly cc, is gone 🥲 i am heartbroken lmao. if i wanna play and make sims again, even just redownloading my sims from the gallery or something, id have to spend aaaaaaaages going around and finding the mass amount of cc i had before. at this point im less upset ab the (still massive amount) of in game cc i had like furniture and build stuff, and more upset ab the CAS cc i lost. i played around in CAS far more than build or live mode so this is a huge bummer. to anyone who has asked ab any cc that i didnt personally make im sorry, i cant pull files or anything. i still have the things i did make myself like the tattoos ive put out. im not sure ab recolors, since i made them as recolors, i dont know if the mesh is included (it may be, i genuinely am not sure; many creators dont want their meshes reuploaded so id be against sharing if thats the case.) someday hopefully i will begin cc shopping again, and i praaaay i can find the stuff i considered staples for my sims. i have a lot of CAS cc creators bookmarked so thats good. its a start. im just so bummed ab this and mad at myself for such a big fuck up. i really was missing making sims lately but at the current time i cant get myself to begin again finding everything.
