i've been catching up on the seasons of spn that i've missed and every time someone says "im doing this for the winchesters" or "sam and dean" i LAUGH out loud because sam's name is so obviously thrown in there to be like #nohomo it's For The Bros. and it honestly just gets more and more silly as the show progresses. exceptions are of course sam's hot girlfriends.

oh absolutely ABSOLUTELY i go back and forth on whether it’s a sam or dean song and in that way i think it’s about both of em. especially wrt the last verse “while everyone's lost, the battle is won / with all these things that i've done” like sam 🤝 dean doing quote-unquote “bad” things in order to win... thesis song for real...

Also on the subject of followers, I HAVE WAY MORE THAN I EVER THOUGHT I WOULD AND IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY because its like 'wow there are that many people who share my interests and opinions and actually go through my life with me because this blog is basically my life' so yeah I really appreciate all of you guys because you are some of the most amazing people and a ton of you have helped me out when I'm sad or when I was getting hated on so oh my gosh.

at the very beginning of season nine cas turns human and so dean is like “ok well hitchhike to our neck of the woods and you can stay with us” so cas does. and then for writers hating cas girls reasons and not wanting to pay misha collins leading man money reasons dean kicks cas out of their house. cas has nowhere to go! he gets a job at a gas station and he keeps a sleeping bag in the back room and sleeps there when he closes because he’s homeless. 

9.06 dean rolls up to the town cas is in for a case and hangs out with cas a lot while he’s there. cas thinks he got asked on a date but actually he got roped into doing free babysitting. dean drops him off at the babysitting house and when the motw shows up to kill cas dean ALSO shows up. when the mom cas is babysitting for comes back dean’s out front of her house in his car, and cas gets in with him. dean smiles and says “so, where to now?” because it’s like 10 at night or whatever and he’s trying to drop cas at home. if you’ll recall, cas is homeless and sleeps at the gas station where he works. 

CUT TO: the next morning. dean’s car pulls up to the gas station cas works at. cas says goodbye to dean and pulls out his keys and unlocks the front door. he did not sleep there last night. in between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am cas and dean were Somewhere and presumably slept before waking up so dean could drive cas to work. that’s the 9.06 fanfic gap!
