June 13th-June 19th, 2020 Creator Babble Archive
The archive for the Creator Babble chat that occurred from June 13th, 2020 to June 19th, 2020.  The chat focused on the following question:
What is your physical and digital workspace like when you’re working on your story?
🌈ERROR404 🌈
LOL it really depends on what stage I'm in of the process - My storyboarding space is at home, as comfortable as I can be, a beer and some food at the ready and pure silence. The cats have to be freshly fed, otherwise I'll be harassed and lose my headspace entirely LOL. I usually work on my story boards digitally, just at a very small scale, with my script/outline on my computer and working on my ipad! The double screen helps a LOT, although i would just print out the script if I had access to a printer, haha. When I'm working on the actual page itself, it's a very different story. I usually just try and work on it in tiny little batches during the day when I'm stuck at home, and usually work around the animals as best i can, lmao. Truthfully, I really prefer to be in a coffee shop when I'm working on finishing pages, it makes me so much more productive than i am in this house with so many things to take care of right in front of me, but, obviously, that's a bit difficult to do these days. ;; I usually reserve food and drink until after I pass a milestone in inking/sketching to help motivate me to keep going for as much as I can before taking a break, and I need some kind of music or video playing in the background to keep myself from being absolutely bored out of my mind. My shading process, since it's in black and white, is very easy and i can finish it in one setting, easy, no matter what I'm working with. I also work digitally for my pages, of course, although I don't need more than my ipad and clip studio for it!

freshly fed cats
🌈ERROR404 🌈
They are BEASTS when hungry, the little bastards (love them)
I may only work in peace when they're post-food napping lmao
DaeofthePast
we only have one, but same
LadyLazuli (Phantomarine)
I work almost entirely in the corner of my IKEA couch at home I used to work at a proper desk with a Cintiq, but when I switched to Procreate on an iPad, I migrated to the couch and surrounded myself with a nest of clothes and blankets and books and... here I am, bein' cozy. With terrible posture But when I was between jobs last year, I did rent a little coworking space down the street so I could get out of my pajamas and go get comic stuff done there. It was a godsend. I like drawing at my favorite coffee shop every so often too, but I tend to hide my work while I draw, and there, everyone can look over my shoulder The coworking space had a tall artist desk that was rarely used, so I often grabbed that one. Not cheap, but to stave off cabin fever, heck yes, worth it.
🌈ERROR404 🌈
Ahhh I've been really thinking about getting a studio space one of these days I really shouldn't rn, with my finances as they are, but I could REALLY make use of one recently
LadyLazuli (Phantomarine)
I loved the space I used last year. They recently had to close for... current-event reasons... and are going to reopen with all sorts of plexiglass barriers between the desks I feel so bad for them. Good studio spaces are wonderful, I would support them again if I ever was out of a job!
🌈ERROR404 🌈
it's good they've found ways to make it safer, though!
carcarchu
My old workspace was in the basement of my home in canada and it was always perpetually freezing even in the summer and i was frequently visited by spiders so my current workspace is a huge improvement in that regard. I do miss my old ergonomic desk chair though. I'm definitely not the kind of person who can draw in bed or on the couch. I need to be in workmode and having a designated space just for that is necessary for me to get in the right headspace for that.
DaeofthePast
my workspace rn is just my desk with my laptop and my drawing tablet. my laptop is stacked on top of a pile of books so i can see the screen (otherwise my tablet blocks my line of sight). it's kinda simple
chalcara [Nyx+Nyssa]
Depends. I have a Cintiq Mobile Studio, so I can draw pretty much every where and sometimes in the oddest position, but most of the time I am on my desk with the cintiq hooked up to a second monitor so I don't have to look down so much.(edited)
Holmeaa - working on WAYFINDERS
For Wayfinders: Thumbnails are somewhere cozy and the only physical work. Me and Q sit and plan them out together. The rest of wayfinders are made on Photoshop, and flat colors in clip paint studio. In the world I would love a nice studio place in an office with others. During corentine I have been working from home, and I am not that good at it, being quite the extrovert. Before corentine I was in a artist residency where I worked on Wayfinders which had a workstation and all the programs we could need. It is so nice and me and Q are going to return there when it opens up again!
Miranda
I have an iPad so usually on the couch, cozied up with coffee and pillows and blankets. But sometimes at the table. But usually on the couch like the gremlin I am
FeatherNotes(Krispy)
I have a large drafting table, a mini drafting table, and a lapdesk in my papasan when we ink/draw! Toning and letters are all done on the desktop in its own space
Miranda
I need to get a good lap desk. But that sounds like a grand setup!
Eightfish (Puppeteer)
My first time hearing about a lapdesk
Omg I need one
FeatherNotes(Krispy)
They are the best things ever Mine has just the pencil holder !(some come with cup holders and its a waste of space imo)
Joichi [Hybrid Dolls]
Wow I like your setup of the drafting tables
FeatherNotes(Krispy)
I wanna show pics of them....if im allowed in this chat?
Joichi [Hybrid Dolls]
I hope so, I'm not sure which channel we can post studio photos at? I did see some did before?
FeatherNotes(Krispy)
Ill post in shop talk since creator babble gets archived
Tuyetnhi (Only In Your Dreams!)
my current space is uh.... a bit better than my last one. I used to work on an old writers desk for a decade and I did most of my comic work sitting there cramped up with my desktop taking most of the space. Now I have an L shaped desk where I have my desktop on the shorter end. The longer end it's my pen, pencils, and watercolor stuff. my display tablet occupy the space at times so switching from digital and traditional without worrying about setup hassle is a lot better than what I dealt with before lol.
I'm glad the days I had to curl up and draw with no privacy are long gone now
kayotics
I’ve got a little drafting table where I draw all my comic pages. I’m messy with my pens so they’re kind of strewn about until I start to lose them. Then I put them back. I’m not particularly neat. I spend most of the comic process off the computer, so most of my digital work is just on an iPad where I can sit anywhere. I try to keep good lighting around my drafting table and there’s always loose eraser shavings all over.
Natasha Berlin (Pot of Gold)
I got myself a lil corner desk by the dining table. Not as well-lit as I'd like, but it's decently ergonomic and I started putting posters on my wall Plus I can leave work mindset easily by turning off my computer and forgetting about the dark corner in the dining room XD(edited)
sssfrs (JOE IS DEAD)
My desk is really sloppy and covered in all kinds of junk. I have a harmonica, a ball of yarn, a bunch of ink bottles, etc on my desk. I have my sketchbook under my tablet and usually a notebook somewhere for writing. My tablet sits to the right of my laptop (on top of sketchbook) while I'm not using it and when I'm using it it goes over my computer keyboard. I sometimes have a glass of water or some food sitting to the lefthand side
Eightfish (Puppeteer)
The only thing I wanna share about my workspace is this
once i spent over three hours looking for that damned pen
never again
🌈ERROR404 🌈
Ajkdhfkjs the models for hte magazine im crying

You should weld a metal chain to it
Eightfish (Puppeteer)

TaliePlume
My workspace is a black table with a white, yellow, blue and green tablecloth with 3 black chairs. It's next to the kitchen. On it, is my laptop and the left side is my clipboard, 3 blue folders full of writing. Then above it, is 3 sketchbooks and another blue folder from a class that I took in community college.

sagaholmgaard
I have one long desk at almost three meters. On the left side is all my coffee and tea supplies, in the middle is my work space and on the right is my dining table xD I get everything done from there, despite having a mobilestudio so I COULD sit anywhere and work, lol. It's a blessing during holiday seasons to be able to bring it everywhere, but at some I like my designated working space. Although I am moving in a few weeks, so who knows what my new workspace will be
Moral_Gutpunch
My workspace is anywhere I can draw or write. It's more of a "Will I be interrupted over something petty or stupid" issue than space. Not that I don't want more space.
Mitzi (Trophallaxis)
My workspace is a big, broken corner desk I managed to lug out of an old apartment when it was gonna be trashed. Before then, I'd just draw in bed. I don't remember, but I'm pretty sure the folding chair I sit at is a similar affair. It's got a Dollar General throw pillow on it so I can at least say I'm trying to save my back. The top of the desk is a mess of mostly old bottles and cans, pencils, incense ash, and my old tarot deck. I love this setup dearly. This is the first time I've ever had my own desk space, much less a space I can decorate or leave as messy as I want. Got my own art up on the walls with sticky tack and all! Also the cat's scratching post is directly behind me, because we've learned the cat won't use it unless it's as in the way as possible. What can ya do, lol.
Cronaj (Whispers of the Past)
Oh cats...
Desnik
I got spoiled with an adjustable desk. It is six feet long, and has a whiteboard top for noodling with dry erase markers
my main computer is set up on an adjustable stand so it floats over the desk, and then I have my cintiq, which we tried to mount on a similar stand but then it was just too heavy
I keep my dice collection nearby because fidgeting helps think things through sometimes
and rolling to make odd decisions never hurts
lately during the quarantine I've been sharing the office with my spouse so we've had to establish rules over when it's okay to bug each other(edited)
oh yeah and we also have a whiteboard installed in the office, and it rules!(edited)
Shizamura 🌟 O Sarilho
Mine is pretty simple: I have a laptop that's long stopped being portable and is now mostly just sitting at my desk at all times and a 19 inch Ugee as my display. I usually keep a lot of stuff on top of my desk, but it's mostly just a mess because I have been using it for work too for a while now
Cronaj (Whispers of the Past)
I suppose I'll talk about my setup too :) My main setup is where I do digital art. I share an office with my SO, so we both have workspaces on opposite walls from each other. I work on a corner desk that holds my beefy computer, two monitors, and a Huion Kamvas GT-191. That's where I draw my comic and pretty much everything else done digitally. Ngl, it's a mess right now. I have comic notes and location floor plans in sketchbooks and DnD character sheets spread out all over the surface, and random pens and sticky notes. In the corner of the room, we have a nice large-format printer where I produce prints for conventions. I actually sketch my pages on an iPad pro in Procreate, so during the sketch phase, sometimes I'll just bundle up on my couch and do it, or before quarantine, sometimes I'd sketch on the go. My other workspace (which hasn't gotten much love as of late tbh) is a drafting table in the corner of our living room. I keep a tabletop easel on it and my Copic markers, as well as whatever I'm working on at the moment. (RN it's some ink washes.) The drawers hold all my ink, pencils, erasers, etc. Next to the drafting table is where I keep all my large charcoal, graphite, and oil pastel drawings (mostly school projects), and my large paintings. Other than that, I have a nifty little cart where I keep painting supplies :) I will say, this setup is by far an enormous improvement from my previous setups.

Craft things! Cause gonna be actually tabling at Montreal ComicCon in almost two weeks. @.@ And the rambling tale of Jen’s Resin Adventure...
I really love making wire tree necklaces. It started there and then I started making the sculpture type, but one I couldn’t fit over a rock so had idea to stick it in a candle holder and some glue. ...yeah, that didn’t really work so I was like. WELL. I guess only way to do this is maybe resin. So. I got a small box last year from Michaels (with a coupon), but weather got cold and yeah. So I’ve been waiting for ages for it to warm up, meanwhile having amassed lots of those cute, tiny bottles as well as some glow powder which I was mixing into cold porcelain (a handmade, air dry clay... I get rashes from polymer :( ) so I was like I’ll use these too!
SO. Finally. I went for it tonight. I tried to be prepared... set up beside window with a fan, and sliding door open, so lots of ventilation. Gloves, protected my surfaces, made little funnels for the bottles. All that stuff!
Ah. Hum. Resin is a thing. No pics from when I was working cause didn’t wanna risk getting anything on it. lol So after shots...
I made a fairly big batch for my first try since I was filling two holders now with trees. (The chips are made from glowy clay. :D Yes they glow in the dark super good. ^^b) They were really easy and worked well. \o/ SO that’s something. lol
Tumblr media
Then I had made some flat (ish =3=) ovals of clay with glow powder and thought I’d try doming them with resin. Seemed okay, but there’s been more overflow since leaving them so uh. We will see @_@; (I plan to wrap them with wire trees so... any imperfections will be somewhat hidden.) (There’s also a purple one under there, just hidden lol)
Tumblr media
THEN onto the bottles. I was using chalk and lil’ artists acylic to dye the resin. (Since some research suggested these both worked fine.) SO mixed it up and first poured some partially into bottles cause I wanted to try the cute origami boats on water. They came out okay, other than being tricky to push the little rocks I’d made with clay in. Shoulda put them in first. =3= But anyhoo.
Tumblr media
Then did the other bottles which proved tricky cause I’d been taking awhile at this point and the resin was thickening.
Kinda got it in. >.>
Tumblr media
Then tried to throw some of the remaining into a bottle and add some rocks... shoulda put rocks in first again. =_= Couldn’t push em’ in and it was getting really thick now, so tried to throw in some fake moss and... well... uh. We’ll see what I can do with it. I wanted to put in some cute clay glowy mushrooms into it, so we’ll see if I can do that. lol
And the rest.... yeah. It was done. It IS hardening nicely though so... there’s that!
Tumblr media
SO then got another cup and started batch 2 to finish the bottles.
This time I prepped my cups with colour and powder FIRST. ...Except I was dumb and put the blue paint in the cup way too ahead of putting resin in. So that blue got all full of tiny bits of dried paint. Oops. DX
The bottles mostly went okay, tossing some glitter and such into the final two. Then tried to fill one bottle with the remainder of the resin colours... and it wasn’t going down the funnel. Poked tooth pick in then lifted the funnel a bit. Lost hold of toothpick, resin started streaming down it into the bottle... and outside the bottle. All over. Managed to get a lot back in, but much was lost. So. Yeah, it’s... interesting.
Also then realized the resin blue resin for the other boats got down the side of one of the bottles, so used a ton of q-tips trying to clean it best I could. AND YEAH.
Tumblr media
Moved them to a spare room with a heater to try and keep room warm/dryish since still quite cool over night and meant to turn REALLY humid tomorrow.
Tumblr media
(Yeah, this is where they’re sitting in the spare room. XD This isn’t where I did it. lol Hoping the resin left in the cups will peel out when dry. I hear that works. ...We’ll see. XD)
Popped the boats into the bottles when the resin had hardened to sticky surface. They’re cute, despite flaws. XD
SO YEAH. That. Was my adventure with resin. Still have some left over, but...
Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Admittedly, debating giving the rest to a friend and avoiding it for now. (Or just using it for a few more trees... since that was fairly painless. Guess depends if I can sell these ones. lol) I love idea of making my own cabochons, but erf. I might just look into other ways to get that thick gloss on them. (My fave sealants are just brush on polyurethane decoart duraclear stuff. It’s just so low hassle/fumes/etc. lol)
ANYHOO. Here’s also other stuff working on. :D Here’s that one tree I resin’d...
Tumblr media
Another tree that’s gonna just get attached to a rock. lol
Tumblr media
Glowy jellyfish and stuff in bottles. (Just gonna hang them rather than try to fill these with resin cause quite large.)
Tumblr media
My first try at trees over cabochons...
Tumblr media
And trying to make a bunch of tsumami kanzashi. ^^

Turns out its a helluva mess when i start messing beyond flat colors!! Might be a sign to not do so much again (but yet .. practice to get to where im one day happy??)
Like ive done as much as i know how to do at this point in time to the portraits (still gratuitously bloody shame on me :') ) oh except for a background bc WHAT does one DO for a character shoulders up portrait background??? Settled for now on a gradient old school photo style lmao
I like the fix it one as is, a lot (but also i liked the lineart for the portraits better i think) and idk, imngonna try give it a light bit of shadows and lights, maybe step away from a lot of blending bc i think i think thats where i went wrong on the other one
Like, they look fine, but they also look. Meh. Like ive used too much blur tool (i havent, i tried using kritas wet brush thing and it looks....ok close up but the effect is no good when zoomed out like posting size APPARENTLY) and its all noncommittally washy.
(cont'd over thinking)
Am i gonna 'render' them a third time??? Do i have the mental strength?? Bc i think maybe trying for something not so, "realistic" could do me better, like a little more cell shady. But also i dont?? I dont know how to cell shade? I dont watch anime or cartoons v much and my style isnt that cartoony or clean lined?
Maybe on the fix it i can try a more....... Conservative and less blended shade/highlights? (And if i like it/learn smth new go back and re re do the portraits same style) I also just. Idk. How does one make it not look so. Flat and meh?? Im doing basic color stuff ok i think, ive got a bit of texture but its still? Eh???
Honestly i could just post them and move on but i dunno, i have the energy to problem solve a lil bit so why not?? (Not tonight. Im gonna sleep on this all)
Why post shit im not 100% proud of? (Ngl kinda been in the mood to take down that first sketch of the fix it bc it looks nowhere near as good as what i fixed it up to but ....... Ah fuck it i was happy w it when i did it so eh)
Why why why oh why is art so hard?????????
I wanna try and become one of those cool artists who post multiple fun things yknow, like u get inspired and can draw it beginning to post in one evening! Im probably way over thinking and pushing myself to some standard of unrealistic perfection i have for myself...
(also i like thumbnail doodled out like, all these things i wanna draw for a really nice fic i read and even after editing some i have like 8 bits i wanna draw?? 4 as like a mini comic bc i havent done one since i was a child and i think itd be kinda rad if i learned to draw short comics for fic scenes i like??? But yeah basically in one inktober post there would only be 5 ideas (a lil more complicated on average i do give for granted but like. Those took me WEEKS) but yeah i just. I wanna draw them. Even if itll probably take me for fuckin ever... (And i didnt even finish off the last two inktober batches, oh. And i have a uni thesis to do ew) .... I wanna push myself to draw faster (less iterations to get it right) and so i can have rly solid and good and quickly done drawings to then color in as i learn to for future?)
Ugh man. You know what i need to do/shouldve been doing before i jumped into coloring original stuff?? I shouldve done colored studies. Like ive been drawing scenes both from reference and original on the inktobers and i think thats why my drawing/character stuff has gotten decent. I really should just whip out like prettily colored movie screencaps and work on painting studies of them. That would really fix up why i cant figure out lights and shadows and blending in coloring! No horrid tutorials just figuring out how can i make it work for me
And you know? You know what it is okay to have pieces that are from before i figured it out right? Im gonna try a slightly different thing for the fix its (if i hate it, theyre good as flat colors too) and yes they dont have a background either please love of god someone tell me how to add random backgrounds bc im not in the mood of scene building further but they float in off white space atm.
If i learn smth ground breaking and can QUICKLY do a bette rendition of the portraits, sure the perfectionist wins. But maybe just maybe. It would be fine to post them as they are. Yea, they look roughly as lifeless as my first big painting/that dinluke poster redraw. And maybe thats okay. Because hi if i do dedicate to doing like a good few color focused studies of star wars scenes as a treat i can come back stronger and have a better piece???? Its about growth babes. YEA
Alright i said to myself thats it in gonna go sleep on it and continue tomorro but. I thought id slip in here a secret surprise for anyone unfortunate enough to have clicked read more... And i got a little whiplash opening the picture bc it looks. SO WRONG but the more you look at it its like ... Fine. Ok judge for urself and tell me pls, first and second attempts at 'rendering' the portraits (the darker bground was the first attempt just going by gut, the lighter one after trying to watch like 1 tutorial and using more brushes and just generally trying rly hard!!)
Tumblr media
yes ive clearly fixed issues in the sketch differently in both so they... look... like different expressions?? idk man idk idk idk see now this small they look differently off!! god the curse of the zoom in and out and perception.

HOUR 6 (JJK)
STUCK SERIES - HOUR 6
Tumblr media
Pairing: Jeon Jungkook x Reader
Themes: high school au, badboy & fuckboy jungkook
Genre: Fluff
Word Count: 1,400
Summary: After being labelled the school’s biggest bad boy, Jeon Jungkook chooses to live up to the title. What he doesn’t know is that his arrogance will lead him to you.
HOUR 5 | HOUR 7 | MASTERLIST
Jeon Jungkook wishes that if this were a dream, he wouldn’t have to wake up.
Jeon Jungkook wished that if this were a dream, he wouldn’t have to wake up. As of now though, that wasn’t a problem because he never slept.
He was too busy easing the pain down there and so, that led to him wandering away from the music room when the clock hit one-o-clock in the morning. Eventually, he’d decided to leave you alone first because he was sure that there was no way in hell he would be able to sleep. Not tonight, not beside you, not where you were.
Though removing his arms from their secure hold on you was pretty challenging, it took all of him to stay. Why? Because he was not sure about what made you so different and that scared him. He wasn’t sure if you’d cast some sort of spell because on any other day, he would be pissed out of his mind if he got stuck in school once again. He was lucky and he knew it- he just didn’t know how to acknowledge it.
His feet begin to walk in a particular direction and before his mind can register anything, he’s facing the door of one of the most beautiful rooms in your campus- the art room. Jungkook always liked drawing and his friends never teased him for it but the other kids from your batch probably would. That was the kind of stereotype set for people like him and if he refused to live up to it, he doesn’t know what would happen to him.
His friends would never leave him as far as he knows because they’re practically brothers but he’d never want to be the odd one out of the group in the eyes of an outsider or a passerby. But now, he is alone and he doesn’t have anything or anyone to worry about. He doesn’t have to scan the corridors to see if anyone’s going to pop out of nowhere and catch him so he places his fingers on the cold metal of the doorknob.
Jungkook has been in here a couple of times. In freshman year when all students in your batch were required to take arts as a class. He’d come to this place last year when you had to write a paper on a specific painting that depicted Romeo and Juliet or some shit, he doesn’t remember. But it’s still different to him. Maybe it’s the lack of people in the room or the pleasant silence the place provides.
He walks through the place, looking around at the various scattered paintings and the lockers of the members of the art club who come here nearly everyday after school. It doesn’t take long before he finds himself in front of an easel, fingertips running through the expanse of the rough paper. He decides that he will take advantage of the empty room. Conveniently, there’s a set of paints and a few dirty brushes in front of him and it will do. He doesn’t even know what the subject of his artwork will be at that point but it’s eventually decided when the first stroke marks the color of your skin, a rough sketch of your face shape on the paper.
He works in serenity, the only thought in his mind being you running along the field with him merely two hours prior. He paints meticulously, never turning down even the small details. He’s determined to make sure that this painting becomes a masterpiece so that maybe if things work out, just maybe, he gets to show it to you one day. His fingers grip the brush tightly as he places lines of your hair color surrounding your face.
Time passes quickly, especially since he’s too engrossed in his artwork that he totally forgets about where he is and why he’s even there. It’s almost like the same exact feeling he gets when he’s around you but then, it’s a thousand times worse. It pisses him off sometimes knowing the image he projects is actually a polar opposite of the kind of person he was really like. He was so thankful for his friends because they’ve been there for him through thick and thin. They were there for him when his heart was broken for the first time in freshman year and they taught him to become stronger. They were there for him when his biological brother had decided to move abroad and they took his place.
They were there for him when he had nobody and for that he was eternally grateful.
He’s very attentive to details- that was a trait that his hyungs have noticed over the past years they’ve been friends but it comes out so well now, while he’s making all these kinds of lines and shapes at 1 am in the morning. Jungkook doesn’t remember the last time he did this but it feels amazing- rejuvenating, even and it’s like second nature to him.
It takes a couple more minutes before he decides that he’s relatively pleased with the outcome of his effort. His hand is slightly strained from the lack of practice but it’s bearable. He gets off his stool, stretching and stepping away to take a better look of the previously empty canvas. He’s proud of what he’s done and a tad bit terrified because what the hell, he just painted an extremely accurate painting of a girl he just met officially six hours before.
It’s only when his phone starts ringing does he snap out of his trance as he frantically looks for it in his pockets. He accepts the call before he can even see who’s calling but he’s relieved to hear a familiar voice. “Hello? Jungkook?!”
“Jin-hyung! Oh my god,” He breathes out, surprised. Neither of you had any signal for the past few hours and so you couldn’t call anyone for help. Not that he was mad about it, though, because nothing would have happened the way they did if things turned out differently. In a sense, he felt rather grateful but at this point, he really was stuck here with you.
“Kookie! Where are you? I just got a text from your mother asking me if you were with us and I had no idea what to reply!” He says, relieved that you were finally hearing all of this. “Shit?!” Jungkook says, knowing he’d be screwed in the morning for not have answering any of his mother’s definite phone calls. It’s so late at night, and Jin’s call only came through to him now.
“Hyung, I’m stuck in school for the second time. This is all Taehyung’s fault...” the younger boy groans and runs his paint-smeared hand through his hair. He explains further and tells him that he’s stuck with you. Jin doesn’t really seem to care that much about how he’s stuck with a girl at the dead of night. Instead, he suggests that the two of you wait it out till morning. “Do you have your car or do you want me to drive you guys home when the rest of your football teammates arrive at six?” Jin asks, ready to help the boy out.
Jungkook declines politely, thanking him for the help and concern. Jin says that he’ll talk to your mother who still isn’t asleep, apparently, and tells you to stay safe from harm. Jungkook smiles on his end of the phone, happy that he’d been blessed enough to have the friends he has. Except maybe for Taehyung, he thinks. Fuck Taehyung.
He doesn’t know what else to do except clean up his area after his friend drops the phone call, so that’s exactly what he does. He takes the canvas and brings it with him, praying it won’t get ruined and that by any chance, you won’t see it. Now’s not the time anyway. He washes the colors off his palms in the washroom and soon enough, he’s back in the same room as you. You’re still sleeping soundly when the boy finishes setting his alarm for 5:30, making sure you guys will have enough time to wake up properly without running into his teammates.
You’re also still sleeping soundly when he lies down next you in the wide couch in the room, wrapping his arms around you. Again, Jeon Jungkook wishes that if this were a dream, he wouldn’t have to wake up.
HI SO I FORGOT ABOUT UPDATING SINCE I WENT SOMEWHERE LAST NIGHT AND SLEPT AT LIKE 2 :’’) oops
anyway here’s hour six, its a hella filler chapter but i saw jk’s blimp and i was like... i am inspired by the text on it. if you guys have any comments whatsoever please do not be afraid to hmu! istg, messages about my work literally warm my heart and make me cry a lil bit inside. happy halloween btw, and watch out for my jk as the joker au ;)
