delighted though i am for ghost's growing success i'm keeping my fingers crossed for an obviously low-budget ghovie like the chapters before it. because the papa nihil darth vader breathing and seestor's car crash montage and the shitty nihil ghost effects and copia living in the hall outside a bathroom with no door etc all add a certain je ne sais quoi

So in this AU, where Snow decided to fight against the Capitol. How did that happen? What happened to him that had him go "Wait...maybe this isn't the way to go. We should leave for now."
I'm so sorry for not answering sooner.
You see, in this au the ending never happened, Coryo never lied and Lucy Gray accepted him yada yada they travelled and ended up in 13. When they were found they presented themselves to 13 as runaways (himself a trained peacekeeper assigned to district 12 from district 2) Though, they were relatively safe and stable and he was able to climb to power and took back what was "stolen" from his family, Coryo does not want to stay down there forever. He hates the lack of opulence, luxury and life. He also holds a grudge against the Capitol for his "downfall".
In 13, he holds a different name along with Lucy Gray and he wants his name back and his family name's old glory back and of course he wants to get back to Tigris and Grandma'am (tho, grandma'am croaked before they meet again). He hates that he is in hiding, he hates that he is hidden and as president there, He cares little about the people in 13 but Lucy Gray does so he does his best to make the place better for her and his kids (of course himself, he is ambitious and wants some kind of privilege no matter how small in 13) so he's in semi-in contact with the rebels and the Capitol themselves, exchanging goods with them and accepts refugees due to 13's little supplies and population. Then the pox outbreak happens and it was when his son, Orpheus Sage, almost died that he can no longer bear it and so he had 13 join the rebellion fully. After the war was won, he was elected as president of Panem (and all the things it entails) and moved his family to the Capitol.
I hope this sound coherent and not a bumbling mess
Aidoneus Thorne, president of district 13 A.K.A. Coriolanus I'm-only-nice-to-my-family-Snow.

As An IzuOcha Shipper…
…them not ending up together isn’t the problem.
Horikoshi taking the “leave it up to interpretation” approach and then proceeding to COMPLETELY AVOID ADDRESSING their relationship status is the problem.
Horikoshi failing to tie up that one last loose end for Uraraka’s character arc (not closing off her feelings) is the problem.
Again, I ship IzuOcha. Still do, because I’m stubborn. Would I have liked for them to end up together, even if it was only a somewhat blatant implication that could be handwaved? Obviously. But you know what? Maybe I would be upset if the story went out of its way to explicitly de-confirm any chance of Midoriya and Uraraka being a romantic pairing, but I’d at least respect it and understand it a lot more if the story let Midoriya and Uraraka actually talk about this, or at the very least SHOWED US them talking about this. I’d understand if Uraraka completed her character arc by having a heart to heart with Midoriya and telling him that her feelings have changed, her priorities have changed, and Midoriya understands and they remain good friends. Let’s be real, romance isn’t Horikoshi’s strong suit, despite his many attempts to leave romantic implications throughout the series. I’d completely understand if he just had Midoriya and Uraraka talk and they didn’t end up together, because at least then it still provides both of their characters with closure.
But no, that’s too simple. Let’s just “leave it up to interpretation,” because it clearly wasn’t that important, right?
Well, as many people on the internet have already brought up, if it wasn’t so important, why did you spend so much time putting emphasis on it? Why did you have Uraraka, up until the FINAL WAR, have her crush on Midoriya be a crucial part of her character (it wasn’t her only character trait, mind you, but it was still important)? Why did the penultimate chapter have the class come to comfort Uraraka and tell her that they can talk to her… and then come the next chapter, Uraraka apparently hasn’t done anything regarding her supposed crush on Midoriya? For literal YEARS!?
…see, this isn’t even a shipping problem anymore. This is a character problem.
Horikoshi, for whatever reason, chose not to include a romance for the main character and his supposed love interest. And again, that’s fine, not every story needs to be a romance. Two problems with it here though (well, one problem and an observation):
1) Choosing to not at least address the romantic subplot with a “I think we’re better off as friends” encounter, thus actually concluding the subplot and providing a sense of closure, not only leaves the result feeling underwhelming and frustrating, but also actively damages Uraraka’s character arc. We can have her address the problem that caused people like Toga to exist, but heaven forbid she talks about romance with Midoriya.
2) Despite his supposed aversion to romance, Horikoshi still went out of his way to give Gentle and La Brava wedding rings… he’s willing to establish a side romantic pairing without bringing too much attention to it, but he can’t be bothered to do something similar for the arguable MAIN pairing? It’s the “Togata has special clothes so he doesn’t end up buck naked, but Hagakure’s still gotta go commando” debacle again…
I’ma go ahead and wrap this up ‘cause I don’t wanna keep y’all much longer, but like… being optimistic, this ending was… functional. I’ve got my problems with it, obviously, I don’t think it was BAD bad… but it certainly wasn’t good. It works. Barely. And it’s ‘cause of stuff like this.
Midoriya and Uraraka didn’t need to end up together, truly. All Horikoshi had to do was put the smallest amount of effort and give us something of substance, something with closure. Instead, we got what we got.
I get that he was exhausted and wanted the manga to be over… but that excuse only holds up for so long.

What's so fun about BruJay as a ship is Jason's sheer obsessive devotion to Bruce. Jason is possessive over Bruce, to the point he doesn't care about the deaths of others so long as he has Bruce's attention. A part of the UTRH arc this isn't talked about enough is that Bludhaven fucking explodes mid-way and Jason won't let Bruce see if Dick is alive.
batman (1940) #650
A lot of discussion about UTRH paints Jason as this anger-driven cold, calculating machine up against Bruce when it's so clear that his love for Bruce is what drives him at his root, even if he won't acknowledge it. He says it himself, he would've done anything if it was Bruce who'd died instead of him and his anger is rooted in that possessive devotion not being reciprocated.
batman (194) #650
BruJay as a ship always to be, to some level, unrequited. Even if Bruce loves Jason back in that way, he'll never be that obsessed with Jason. Jason will always view Bruce's love for Dick or Tim to be a distraction, proof that Bruce isn't dedicated enough to him. Jason has the need to always have Bruce's attention, even when it could come at the cost of Bruce's other loved ones. Something something cannibalism as a metaphor for love in how Jason wants to consume Bruce's whole existence. He can't let Bruce leave him again, can't let Bruce love or grieve anyone else. Forcing Bruce to choose between Jason and the Joker isn't just about confronting Jason's killer, it's about confronting the other person who exists as this duality with Bruce and consumes so much of Bruce's life. That's the role Jason wants to fill, calling himself Red Hood and forcing Bruce to look at what he's become. But still loving Bruce and wanting more than anything for Bruce to reciprocate that love in the way that Jason understands. I just think it's good soup and rife with Dynamics that are underexplored with them.

Random thoughts time :
If Reiko was killed by those after the book, and we all know the book was with her daughter since it by turn got in the hand of Natsume ..
But something will be weird 🤔
What I mean is ... those wanting the book will target her daughter for sure if they didn't get it with Reiko herself ..
So, who took care of her daughter after her death ? 👀
If her daughter became the target after her death, then Reiko's relatives won't be up against those powerful exorcists nor do I believe they would take care of her that openly either way ...
If she needs protection and Reiko need to hide her daughter and the book then who can she entrust her to ?? If her husband is dead then who else is there ??
If her enemies are those powerful exorcist then she'll need someone that powerful and have the power to hide and protect her daughter till they shake them away ...
Maybe someone that powerful from her husband's family took care of this for her ?? Or maybe it's someone else she can trust ??
Madara was sealed so him being the guardian is ruled out :/
Hmmmm...
Right now I'm kinda eyeing Yorishima with interest since he kinda fit for many reasons 👀
Not only is he powerful himself but also his family is that powerful to rival the Matoba so he can shut them out ... plus he doesn't seems like the type to be blinded that easily by the temptation of power .. don't know if he'll be related by blood to Reiko's daughter or not but that doesn't matter much hmmmmmmm
I'm just vocally stating my random thoughts so don't take it too seriously 😅

tbh 911 gave me the ick with this cheating with the dead wife's doppelganger plotline, like maybe it'll be great tv but i don't wanna watch eddie self destruct for the 3rd time while buck dates a boring white carbon copy of him
i know the season's not over yet, but this last episode massively popped the balloon that was my excitement for next season. it just immediately feels like a very serious and fucked up plotline that they're not gonna do justice. and like now i know eddie's still gonna be fuckin miserable come fall and if tommy's still around i'm gonna have to find more tags to block just to avoid it
(not closing and not saying buddie is hopeless now, just venting! lol)

If I were lucky enough to attract a loyal following of goths, I would simply not slag off the subculture in interviews in a desperate and pathetic attempt to get the mainstream to consider me a real artist. RIP to every musician goths have ever loved but I'm different.

(nothing about this is actually confirmed so don’t take it too seriously)
Mike’s pov? (Mike tried to call Will several times when he was in Lenora but the line was always busy also the clock thing.. )
the last part reminds me of what Mike said about meeting Will for the first time and how he felt alone before befriending him
Mike’s love for Will is still a secret to a lot of people including Will and yeah Mike doesn’t know that Will’s gay and in love with him either but it got confirmed in s4 so the audience knows about it
this one reminds me of Mike and how he has to accept what he really wants and who he actually wants to be with and that he shouldn’t feel like he has to keep trying to be someone he’s not (heteronormativity sucks)

people in my notes complaining about people buying CDs because we're "going to inflate the price" is so strange to me.
1. consumers don't inflate the price because of demand, that's the sellers trying to artificially up their profit.
2. if this is still an issue for you.... what's your solution? no one buys CDs ever again, including you? we let the medium die out before the sellers could, even potentially, raise the price? or... are you allowed to buy CDs and it's everyone else who needs to stop? how do you possibly plan to enforce this outside of "everyone stop!!! I hate this trend!!!" comments on random tumblr posts.
3. as far as I'm concerned, the more physical media we have the better. one day, your favorite cloud service is going to go down. spotify is not going to last 100 years. the more physical media out there of your favorite album, the more likely it'll be preserved for future generations.
oh and it's especially silly, because I've been getting these comments exclusively on my post advocating for buying CDs used

honestly i loved the rwrb movie when i watched it because i was feeling very shit and it made me happy and it was good, it was a good rom-com. but for fuck's sake the deleted scenes are not good and i'm glad they cut them. especially the latest one. it's ok it's a deleted scene but i hope they don't make a director's cut it wouldn't be good. also not a sequel.
