Sometimes you find a MOB that is so useful, you can't bring yourself to kill it for resources. Which is why I have Fred the Treeguard. We WERE gonna kill him with Abigail for living wood, but he kept killing Tall Birds and other enemies. So I grew a form of attachment and just....can't... So unless something else kills him, Fred is off limits.

When she looks down on her hands again, they don’t look like they belong to a fifteen-year-old human girl. And that’s accurate. She isn’t one. She hasn’t been one for many, many years. She just forgets that sometimes. That’s why she messes up.

She’s going to do a better job remembering, from now on.

Angel blinks, and the dusty throne room falls away like a faded backdrop on a theater stage. The forest springs up around her, dark greens painted with charcoal streaks of the encroaching dusk. A bloodied human body lies at her feet. A looming creature of tree bark and anger towers over it.

Was playing Don't Starve with Bo and we managed to get Two Treeguards to lop off 99% of the Deerclop's health before I killed it, only for dogs to come and kill me

These are all I can really think of at the moment. The level of down baddery for each is definitely a rang. But I've basically made this list under the like assumption that I was either actually down bad, had such a massive crush that I wouldn't have minded being with said character, or I just fucking love the aesthetic so much (because honestly all three of those feelings feel very similar to me).

The BEST Maxwell trap is the fifteen or so treeguards chilling in a little forest area, because if you're ever unprepared for a boss fight just lead the boss to the treeguards. I just accidentally led a bearger to the treeguards which I hadn't messed with, the bearger did the ground smash attack and knocked over a couple trees and then I saw the fella get killed in like ten seconds :') not even an exaggeration, as the treeguards popped up I stepped away to nom a honey ham and I looked back up and the bearger was falling over

(explanation: in the oasis in the desert there is no summer spontaneous combustion, Wurt I play here likes to live in the swamps, which here are right next to the oasis and next to it there was a special place containing a few treeguards and a miner hat ... I'm not looking further for my base in that game XD)

Another quick doodle, along with a screenshot I took! The heck am I supposed to do about that thing!? I remember seeing it in the trailer, but I thought it only went after light sources. This one wouldn't leave the anchor on my boat alone.

Not to mention it also scared the hell out of me because of the noises it makes to announce its arrival. I've never been afraid of ANYTHING in this game until now.
