Off to See the Wizard (5)
previous | next
It takes you over an hour to get your brain online because after that talk at breakfast, John walked you to your office and kissed you. It was a kiss on the cheek, but still.
His lips.
Your skin.
Your brain short-circuted.
There was no way to deny it, even to yourself: Captain John Price was interested. In you. Romantically.
You try to shove the little gleeful voice - the one with crushes on all your boys - to the side so you can work. But she keeps chirping about the kiss. About how his beard felt, rough and soft at the same time. About how warm his lips were. About the promise look in his eyes as he pulled back and whispered, "'Til later, dove"
You finally put the kiss in a box of 'Things to Deal With Later' and focus on digging back through mission intel again. You flag two items to bring up with Laswell and a third to follow-up with John about. You're not sure how a closed door meeting with the captain will go after this morning's display, and you pray he's better at separating work and play than you.
You find your groove and are startled by a knock at your office door. You glance at the clock and see it's nearly 2. After being so rattled by John's admission, you'd gotten into the zone and practically missed lunch. You almost expect it's going to be one of your boys. You don't know if you want them to come to you or not.
You're surprised to find Corporal Avery on the other side. "Ma'am," she inclines her head politely. "Cap'n Price wanted to make sure you ate. Told me to help you find the mess and said to tell you, 'I know you're a big girl, but you haven't tried to find your way around on your own yet.' 'm supposed to let you lead and correct the path if necessary." She looks apologetic as she says it, like she understands the ridiculous nature of the command, but since it is a command, she's going to follow it.
You close up your workspace and follow the corporal into the hall where she lets you take the lead. You're loathe to admit you probably need the guide as the corporal corrects your directions at least twice. At least she's polite about it. "Almost got it, ma'am. Another trip and you won't need help at all."
Lunch is a quiet affair as most of the mess has already cleared out. Corporal Avery stays with you but tells you she ate with her squad earlier. "Don't want you to eat alone," she says. "Besides, I wanna make sure you've got the route between your office and food down pat as my guess is your barracks, your office, and the mess are where you'll spend time while the 141 is on mission."
You hadn't given much thought to what you'd do when the boys are gone, but it strikes you suddenly how lonely things will be. You only know your boys, and now Corporal Avery, but that doesn't leave much for socialization when they're away. "Hey, Corporal? Is there someplace on base - besides the mess - people hang out? Like, I dunno, a base rec room or something?"
She looks at you for a long moment, her brow furrowed in question before a look of understanding passes over her face. "Uh, yeah. There are a few. I'd be happy to show you where they are, introduce you to a few other soldiers and civilian employees." You smile gratefully at her, glad she picked up your subtext. "We can do it after the 141 are gone."
The latter part of your day is spent contemplating Corporal Avery's comment to you. You'd been a little surprised when she hadn't offered to show you to the base common spaces sooner, so you asked. She floored you when she admitted she could but "thought, what with them leaving, you'd like to spend as much time as possible with Captain Price first."
Are your desires, or his, that obvious? Certainly she'd seen the two of you together in the hallway that morning, but that couldn't have been enough for her to draw the conclusions she was drawing, was it? And if so, is she telling other people? Does the whole base know? Does the rest of the 141?
You know you're spiraling, but you can't seem to stop yourself. It takes a series of repeated knocks at your door and someone calling your name for you to come back to yourself. You see it's about 7:00 and expect this is someone - Corporal Avery or one of the boys - come to drag you to dinner.
You open your office door and see Simon standing in the hall. He's still wearing a mask, but you see enough of his eyes to tell he's smiling. "Evenin' luv," he says, stepping up beside you. "Ready for a meal?" You nod at him and start walking toward the mess, ready to show him you can find you way without getting lost.
As you walk, he matches your stride and casually drapes an arm over your shoulder. "Look a' ya, already a natural on base. 'S like you belong here." You beam at the praise and don't miss the way his arm tightens ever so slightly at his last comment.
"Like havin' you 'ere, luv," he says, so quietly you can act like you didn't hear it. And you're tempted to ignore it because that's a lot easier than dealing with what it might mean. When your silence stretches too long, however, Simon slows you both down. "D'ya like bein' 'ere?"
You give an enthusiastic, if non-committal, "Of course!"
"D'ya like bein' with me?"
You're almost at the mess, can see the door from here, but you stop dead in your tracks at his question. "What?" you squeak out.
Simon turns to look directly in your eyes. The emotion in his gaze is raw: desire, fear, vulnerability. He searches you long enough you feel he's looking at your soul. "I need to know, luv, if ya like me."
You try to go for a quip, but it dies on your lips. You whisper, "I'm not sure what you want me to say, Simon. I'm not sure what to do here."
He looks pained when he pleads, "Say ya wan' me like I wan' you."
And for the second time today, your brain simply stops responding.

'cause it was always you..
જpairings. G. Satoru x F. Reader
“I do ballet, I’m a ballerina.”
Satoru smiled in amusement. "I honestly would've never thought," he said, his tone light and teasing. "It's like I learn more about you each day." He chuckled as your face turned red.
"Do you have any performances coming up soon? I would love to see you dance in person." His tall body hovered over you, his head tilting as he waited for your answer."Y—yeah, um, in two weeks, I think." You scratched your head slightly, trying to remember.
He chuckled once more before playfully rubbing your head. "Cute," he mumbled, his smile lingering on his face. "Let me know the time and date. I'll see you around."
"I cannot tell you how important it is that you must focus, y/n," Your instructor muttered. "This is a very complex piece. Don't make me regret choosing you for this important role."
Her words felt like a slap to the face. "Yes, ma'am," you muttered before getting back into position. As the music started playing, you moved gracefully. With every move, her face showed satisfaction, but you knew she wanted more than just satisfaction.
"That's your lunch?" Satoru asked, his eyebrows lifting as he examined the small portion of salad and a bottle of water sitting in front of you. His gaze shifted to meet yours, his blue eyes curious and concerned. "Oh, hi Satoru..." you mumbled nervously, feeling a flush of embarrassment rise to your cheeks as he took a seat right in front of you.
"Here, we can share my lunch," he offered with a warm smile, reaching into his bag to pull out a beautifully crafted bento box filled with an array of tempting dishes.
Your stomach grumbled at the sight and aroma of the food, but you shook your head slightly. "Oh, it's no worries. I have to be on a strict diet for this upcoming performance," you replied, forcing a smile despite the longing in your eyes for a taste of his lunch.
Satoru looked around before flashing a mischievous smile. "Well, who's gonna know?" he whispered, his tone playful and conspiratorial.
"Oh, believe me, she'll find out one way or another," you replied awkwardly, chuckling nervously. He playfully rolled his eyes at your response. "Anyway, are you busy tonight?" he asked, changing the subject smoothly.
You nodded in confirmation. "I have rehearsals,"
He leaned in slightly, his blue eyes meeting yours with an intensity that made your heart skip a beat. "From what time?" he inquired softly, his tone laced with curiosity.
You looked up, unaware of his intention, and replied, "From 3 to 9..." Confusion tinged your voice as you tried to decipher the meaning behind his question.
"You're overworking yourself for this piece, huh?" Satoru remarked, his voice gentle with concern. "You need to be careful; I don't want you hurting yourself." He leaned back slightly, throwing you a reassuring smile. You couldn't help but blush at the thought of his genuine concern and care for you. It warmed your heart to know that he was looking out for you.
"But after, we should watch a movie at the cinema. I know it'll be late but..." He trailed off, leaving the invitation hanging in the air. "Yeah, um... I mean, yeah, if you want," you quickly replied, feeling a flutter of excitement mixed with nervousness at the prospect of spending more time with him outside of school.
Just the other day, you two had started talking, and you were still surprised when he first came up to you. His dazzling blue eyes charmed you in an instant, but even before that, you had always watched him from a distance. Never would you have expected this turn of events, where you were not just talking, but making plans to spend time together outside of your usual interactions.
"Perfect," he whispered softly, watching you silently enjoy your sad meal. "After your recital, we are gonna go out and eat so much food," he partially joked, his tone light but sincere. "Because I know you deserve it, because you're gonna do amazing," he reassured you, his words causing your cheeks to flush with warmth at his confession.
"Better, I love the improvement. Keep your moves sharp yet graceful," she instructed as you danced with your partner. Her words spurred you on, pushing you to embody the precise balance between sharpness and grace in your movements.
"And more emotion!" she yelled, her eyes fixed on you like a fox with its prey. Her demand for greater emotional expression pushed you to delve deeper into the performance, infusing each movement with raw emotion.
After hours of rehearsing, you found yourself standing a little under her gaze. "Not only is this performance important to the school, but to you as well," she remarked, her voice tinged with a mix of frustration and concern. "You've improved, but you have got to show more emotion," she sighed, her words weighing heavily on your shoulders.
"I thought you were gonna ditch on me," Satoru said, smiling as you met him in the cinema."I would never do that," you replied with a smile, playfully poking his arm.
"Did I forget to mention, it's a scary movie," Satoru chuckled, noticing the quick head turn as you gulped in fear. "Relax, you can always hold onto me whenever you get scared," he teased, a playful glint in his eyes as he offered you comfort in the face of the impending fright.
"N-no, I can handle it," you said, trying to sound brave, but your face betrayed the exact opposite. Despite your attempt to mask your fear, Satoru could see right through it, his smile softening.
"Let's go, or we'll miss the beginning," Satoru suggested, his hands softly holding onto yours, catching you by surprise. The unexpected touch sent a jolt of warmth through you, and you followed him into the theater,
There you sat, side by side with the boy you've always had eyes for. His perfect face watching the gory movie with a smile on his face, seemingly unfazed by the horror unfolding on the screen. But rather than watching the movie, you found yourself watching him, mesmerized by the way his features softened with amusement.
Your heart pounded intensely in your chest as you stole glances at him, unable to tear your gaze away. When you looked down, you realized your hands were still interlocked, his warm touch sending shivers down your spine. In that moment, the fear of the movie was overshadowed by the thrill of being so close to him.
His head turned as he met your gaze, and you quickly turned away in embarrassment, feeling the heat rise to your cheeks. You could hear his soft chuckle, the sound sending a flutter of nerves through you.
His hand unlocked from yours, and he brought it up to your cheek, gently turning your face to look at him. Your faces were mere centimeters apart now, and you could feel the warmth of his breath against your skin as your heart raced.
"Kiss me," he whispered, his breath warm against your lips as he leaned in even closer. And there you were, lost in a mini makeout session. His lips were like cherries—sweet and red—as they moved against yours with a tenderness that made your heart flutter.
He smiled as you two stood outside the cinema, the evening breeze cooling your flushed cheeks. "I like you, y/n," he confessed softly, his words sending a warm thrill through you.
Before you could respond, he leaned in, placing one last peck on your lips, the gentle touch lingering for a moment before he pulled away. "And I had a lot of fun tonight," he added with a grin, his eyes sparkling with genuine joy.
"M-me too," you stammered, feeling a rush of gratitude and nervousness flood through you. "Thank you for tonight." You glanced down, unable to meet his gaze, but a smile tugged at the corners of your lips, grateful for the unexpected turn of events and the wonderful memories you had created together.
Despite the magical night you shared at the cinema, the next day at school feels like a stark contrast. Satoru's sudden avoidance leaves you bewildered and hurt. Every time you pass by him in the school halls, he seems to purposely avert his gaze, as if trying to pretend you don't exist.
At first, you wonder if it's just a misunderstanding, if perhaps he's dealing with something personal or caught up in his own thoughts. But as the days go by and his behavior remains unchanged, doubts begin to gnaw at you.
As you walked past an empty classroom, you overheard snippets of conversation that made your heart sink. "That was gonna be easier than I thought,'' one of Satoru's friends joked, followed by another chiming in, "Yeah, no kidding, she waited no time."
You stopped in your tracks, feeling a mix of confusion and hurt wash over you as you realized they were talking about you. Satoru's smile at their words only added to the sting, and you couldn't shake the feeling of betrayal creeping in.
Was it all just a game to him? A bet or a dare among friends? The realization left a bitter taste in your mouth, and you couldn't help but feel foolish for believing in something that was never real to begin with.
Relief washed over you as your instructor clapped, praising your performance. "That's perfect, y/n!" she exclaimed, pausing the music. "You've been doing well; the portrayal of the emotion is just right."
As her words soothed you, you couldn't help but feel the weight of built-up frustration from the events with Satoru earlier. The emotion you poured into your performance wasn't just about portraying the story—it was also a release valve for the pent-up feelings swirling inside you.
With each movement, you channeled your anger, hurt, and confusion, allowing them to fuel your dance with a raw intensity that left you feeling both drained and empowered.
There you were again, watching Satoru from a distance as he laughed playfully with his friends. A heavy sigh escaped your lips as you reluctantly tore your gaze away from him, feeling a wave of sadness wash over you. You rested your head on the cold wooden desk, closing your eyes as you tried to push aside the thoughts and emotions swirling inside you. It was a familiar routine now—watching him from afar, longing for something that seemed increasingly out of reach.
"I think she's cute though," one of Satoru's friends remarked, prompting Satoru to turn his attention towards you. "Knowing how easy she was, I might just go after her now," they laughed.
But Satoru's reaction was immediate. His brows furrowed in disapproval as he quickly intervened. "Don't," he stated firmly, his eyes shifting to you, where you lay your head down on the desk.
His eyes lingered on you longer than he intended, the soft glow of the sun casting a graceful halo around you. He felt his heart squeeze in his chest, a pang of longing mixed with regret washing over him. He knew he liked you—perhaps even more than he cared to admit—so why did he still go along with this stupid dare from his friends?
As he watched you, lost in your own world, he couldn't shake the feeling that he was betraying something precious between the two of you. The laughter of his friends echoed in his mind, but in that moment, all he wanted was to bridge the distance that had grown between you and make things right.
The night of the recital was excruciating and nerve-wracking. Every step you took felt heavy with anticipation, the weight of months of preparation bearing down on your shoulders. As you stood backstage, the murmur of the audience filtering through the curtain only heightened your anxiety.
Your heart pounded in your chest, threatening to burst from your ribcage as you waited for your cue. The stage lights glared brightly, casting harsh shadows against the darkness backstage. Your palms were slick with sweat, and you fought to control the trembling in your limbs.
Despite the hours of practice and the reassurances from your instructor, doubt gnawed at the edges of your mind. What if you forgot a step? What if you stumbled and fell? The fear of failure loomed large, threatening to consume you whole.
You took a peek out onto the stage, your eyes instantly drawn to the sea of faces in the audience. But amidst the sea of strangers, your gaze quickly found solace in the familiar sight of your parents and your two younger sisters. They were seated near the front, their faces glowing with pride and anticipation. A smile tugged at the corners of your lips.
As your cue arrived, you shook off all your fears and made your way onto the stage, each step filled with perfect grace. Your movements flowed seamlessly, every emotion conveyed with precision and depth. But then, as your eyes shifted to the crowd, you saw him—Satoru—standing there with flowers in his hand.
A wave of conflicting emotions crashed over you, and all you wanted to do was run away as far as possible from him. Tears welled up in your eyes, betraying the facade of composure you had worked so hard to maintain. It felt like the weight of the world was pressing down on your shoulders, threatening to crush you beneath its burden.
Many in the audience seemed to notice your distress, including Satoru himself. His brow furrowed in concern as he watched you, his earlier jovial demeanor replaced with a look of genuine worry.
Meanwhile, your instructor watched proudly from the wings, unaware of the turmoil raging inside you. To her, your performance was flawless, your portrayal of emotion transcendent. Little did she know, the tears streaming down your face were not just part of the act—they were the raw, unfiltered expression of a heart torn between love and pain.
As the performance came to an end, you and your fellow dancers bowed to the audience as the curtains closed, the applause ringing in your ears like a symphony of triumph. But amidst the fading echoes, your eyes remained glued to Satoru's figure in the crowd.
There he stood, his gaze fixed on you with a mixture of concern and uncertainty. It was as if time stood still in that moment, the world around you fading into the background as you locked eyes with him.
"After that, so many dance schools are gonna be giving you offers like there's no tomorrow," your mom says, her voice filled with pride as you all walked out of the theater, caught up in the whirlwind of congratulatory remarks and well-wishes.
But then, as if out of nowhere, your eyes met Satoru's. There he stood by his car, flowers in hand, a silent testament to the emotions that lingered between you. For a moment, the world seemed to stop spinning as you took in the sight of him, the memories of your shared moments flooding back with a bittersweet intensity.
"I'll meet with you guys later," you say, tearing your gaze away from your parents, who had been just as surprised as you to see Satoru. They exchanged a smile before walking away, leaving you alone with him.
As you approached him, a whirlwind of emotions swirled inside you, uncertainty mingling with hope. You couldn't help but wonder what he had to say, what his presence meant after all that had transpired between you
"Y/n..." He started, his voice tentative as he searched for the right words.
"I really liked you, Satoru," you say, interrupting him, your voice soft but steady as you walk closer to him. "I've liked you for longer than you can even imagine."
His expression softens, a flicker of regret passing through his eyes as he meets your gaze. "Was it worth it? The validation of your friends?" you ask, the words heavy with emotion.
For a moment, there's silence between you, the weight of the question hanging in the air. Then, with a sigh, Satoru reaches out to gently take your hand in his, his touch warm and reassuring.
"No," he admits, his voice barely above a whisper.
Without any hesitation, you embraced him in a tight hug, tears streaming down your face as you allowed yourself to release the pent-up emotions that had been building inside you. Satoru felt his heart grow heavy as he returned the embrace, holding you close as he whispered soothing words of comfort. "None of it was worth it, y/n," he murmured, his voice choked with emotion. "Everything I said to you was true."
"Then why? Why did you leave?" Your muffled voice said as your face was stuffed into his chest, the words tumbling out between sobs.
"Because I was being dumb, but please let me make it up to you," he whispered, his voice filled with regret and sincerity.
In that moment, the walls you had built around your heart began to crumble, replaced by a flicker of hope. Despite the pain of the past, you couldn't deny the longing in your heart for a second chance, for the possibility of rebuilding what had been broken.
With a shaky breath, you pulled away slightly, meeting his gaze with tear-stained eyes. "I want to believe you," you say, your voice wavering with uncertainty. "But you have to prove it to me."
He pulled away from the hug, placing the beautiful roses gently in your hand. Then, in a bold move that caught you off guard, he got down on his knees, despite the crowd still bustling around you.
"Y/n L/n," he began, his voice ringing out clear and unwavering, "I have loved you ever since the day I laid eyes on you. So please, just please give me another chance."
Your face flushed red from crying and embarrassment as you realized the extent of Satoru's devotion, his declaration of love unfolding in front of a crowd of onlookers. But despite the eyes watching, all you could focus on was the sincerity in his words and the depth of emotion shining in his eyes.
"G-get up," you say, your voice wavering as you watch the people around you smile at the heartfelt scene unfolding before them. But Satoru remains steadfast, his eyes never leaving yours as he stays on his knees. "No! I will wait here until I know you will give me another chance to prove myself, because I love you," he declares.
You nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of your lips despite the tears still glistening in your eyes. "Yes, I will give you another chance," you say softly, your voice filled with warmth and forgiveness. "Now, get up."
With a relieved smile, Satoru rises to his feet, his eyes shining with gratitude and love as he pulls you into a tight embrace. In that moment, surrounded by the murmurs of the crowd and the gentle rustle of the breeze, you knew that together, you could overcome anything that life threw your way.
He leaned in, pressing a tender kiss against your lips before resting his head in the crook of your neck. "I really do love you, and I will do anything to prove that to you," he murmured, his words filled with sincerity and determination.
Tears of happiness pricked at the corners of your eyes as you held him tight, feeling the warmth of his embrace enveloping you like a comforting cocoon. "I love you too, Satoru," you whispered, your voice barely above a breath, but filled with all the love and affection in your heart.
"Now how about we go eat any and everything in our sight? You more than deserved it today," Satoru says, cupping your cheeks gently with his hands.
A smile spreads across your face at his suggestion, feeling a warmth radiate from deep within as you gaze into his eyes. "That sounds perfect," you reply, your voice filled with gratitude and excitement.

surprisingly, the next day was pure hell. for yunjin, for taesan, for woonhak, but mostly for you.
everything was perfectly fine until lunch. you were gonna go attack woonhak again and ask him very very politely to get you cream bread from the shop until you saw him talking to haerin in the hallway.
you've had a fat friend crush on haerin for so long, but were always too shy to go up to her and be friends. you were a little jealous woonhak already became friends with her, but you decided to swoop in to see if she wants to be friends with you too.
"sure, i'll go with you to ball"
you froze as you overheard woonhak accept her invite to ball. you had just made plans to ask him out not even a full 24 hours ago and now he's already going with someone else.
it hurt to be rejected before you got a chance to ask. like your heart was breaking into a million pieces. it just sucks that all of a sudden you realized your feelings and now you had to put them back in your jar, but putting them back was impossible once they spilled.
you turned to go back into the classroom and saw taesan staring at you with a sad, yet knowing look. you gave him a smile to hide your emotions and just walked back to your seat.
you knew taesan. taesan knew you. but there was always mutual understanding with you both, just like you and yunjin.
yunjin could tell something was wrong but didn't wanna say anything. if she mentioned it, she knew you might start crying, and the one thing you hated was crying in front of other people.
the rest of the day seemed to go completely wrong. you couldn't focus, couldn't look at woonhak, and couldn't even eat your cream bread woonhak gave you after accepting haerin's invitation. all you could think about is woonhak going with haerin to ball.
you didn't even mind the bit about going alone. you could always just go with friends, but you were really upset.
it's the cliche 'i don't wanna ruin my friendship with my best friend!' trope that you never thought would actually happen to you. but now that it happened, you realized you were fighting a losing battle, in your head and heart alike.
the rest of the day was full of you trying to side with your head. you wanted woonhak to be happy, but what about you? your heart was saying you loved woonhak. he was one you really wanted and all of a sudden, you can't have him.
"y/n, ready to go home?"
woonhak came up to you with his usual bright smile and asked. you gave him the most convincing smile you could and said,
"mhm! i'm gonna go down to my locker first, so meet me outside"
you said, rushing down to your locker before woonhak could see your smile fade and tears grow. when you finally made it to your locker, taesan was already there putting his own books away. well, he was pretending to at least. he was just waiting for you because he knew everything already.
"y/n.."
he started, not wanting to continue as he saw the tears start dripping down your cheeks. taesan pulled you in for a hug and let you cry everything out on him.
"taesan i'm so stupid"
you choked out through sobs, clutching onto his shirt for dear life while he tried his best to comfort you.
"are you finally ready now?"
well,
that's a question you've been hearing for a long long time, ever since you were a kid.
───────────୨ৎ───────────
"well this is a first. woonagi's girlfriend is finally hanging out with us"
jaehyun teased as you came to hang out with woonhak's friends for the first time. it wasn't your first time meeting them, but after much persuasing, woonhak had convinced you to go down to the new boba shop with them. he liked when you got along with his friends. it just meant more time with his favorite person in the world plus all this other friends.
"you tease her so much she never wants to come"
sungho scolded him and you laughed at their silly dynamic.
"i'm not coming for you, only for free food"
you said dramatically, making woonhak smile and jaehyun gasp loudly.
"okay, let's get to the subway before it gets too crowded"
riwoo called everyone over and you guys started walking together. it was mostly you talking to woonhak, but you socialized with the others too. it was taesan who seemed particularly interested in talking to you.
"so how long have you known woonhak?"
he asked as everyone started talking and heading to the boba shop. you thought for a moment, mentally counting all the years in your head.
"we met when we were 6, so 6 years? i think we actually met today 6 years ago"
you smiled and nodded. a small smirk grew on taesan's face.
"you even have a friendship anniversary. and i thought woonhak was the only one who remembered"
he teased and you rolled your eyes. you were surprised though. you and woonhak never mentioned the day you met, but it was touching to know that woonhak remembered too.
"do you like woonhak?"
taesan suddenly whispered. you looked at him and shook your head wordlessly, the rosy blush growing on your cheeks betraying your true feelings.
"you’re lying. tell woonhak. trust me, he literally talks about you all the time. he's in love with you"
taesan kept whispering and you adamantly refused. who tells their best friend they're in love with them because of information from a guy you barely know?
that wasn't the end of taesan's persistence. years went by, and he kept trying to tell you that woonhak was in love with you. that you're the only thing woonhak would ever yap about to them, so much that they practically knew everything about you.
no matter how much you denied it, taesan knew you loved woonhak too. he never forced you to say anything you didn't want to, but he did get you to admit things here and there. he always left the opportunity to confess in the air. you just never did anything.
taesan could read you inside and out, and looked out for you for all these years. through all of his nonstop teasing, you knew he cared about you and woonhak so so much. you trusted him with everything, even the little things you were too scared to tell woonhak.
today was the day taesan had been waiting for for nearly 5 years.
for years it was always “are you finally ready now?” and you were never ready, no matter how much he asked. but now it just might be time.
he saw you walk out of the classroom with happiness radiating from your entire being, and he just knew today was the day. of course it didn't go as expected, but this was just another obstacle compared to the 5 years of slowburn taesan had been observing.
───────────୨ৎ───────────
"do you still wanna go home with him today?"
taesan asked while you were still buried in his chest. you shook your head and he stroked your hair sympathetically.
"you were never as good at hiding your emotions as you thought you were but you’re gonna be okay y/n"
taesan chuckled and patted your shoulders, pulling out his phone to call woonhak.
"hey, woonhak? y/n's phone died and she wanted me to tell you that something came up with the teacher, so she said to go on without her and she'll talk to you later"
taesan made up some excuse for you to stay with him and woonhak muttered a little "oh" that you heard from the speaker.
"is everything okay?"
typical woonhak. worrying about you over anything else going on. it made you cry even harder knowing that you and taesan were lying to him and all he knew was to worry for you.
"she's fine, but she's talking to the teacher right now and she said it'll be a while. she'll meet up with you later though"
"okay, tell her i said hi and i'll drop by her house tonight"
with that, woonhak hung up and taesan dropped his head in relief.
"okay sunshine, we don't have to worry about him knowing for now okay?"
the only time taesan ever calls you sunshine is when you're really upset. he likes to say it's because woonhak is the epitome of the sun, so you're sunshine, the reason for the happy warmth that radiates from the sun.
y/n = sunshine. sunshine = happiness. taesan doesn't believe that even the happiest ray of sunshine could be upset, so you should never be upset by his logic.
"come on, let me take you to go get drinks and let’s talk, yeah? it'll make you feel better"
you pulled your face off of taesan's shirt, and taesan showed the softest smile as he pulled his keys out and walked you down to his car.

Panic Attack M.S.
Bf!Matt x Gf!Fem!Reader
A/N: If you don't like the preadded name in my stories, you can either add your own name or not read it; it's up to you :)
You were never the anxious type. For as long a s you could remember you didn't have anxious bone in your body. You constantly carried yourself with pure joy, contentment, and happiness. So, when you started dating Matt, you couldn't always relate and understand the anxious and sometimes depressive highs and lows he would go through but being his girlfriend, you really tried to understand and help as best as you could through the lows especially when they got really low.
This brings you to now, you are currently sitting on the couch in your apartment next to Matt, studying for another medical exam you have to take to pass this class to get you one step to majoring and having a career as a pediatrician, it being your dream, since your mom is one and you always looked up to her. You let out what you thought was a normal deep breath.
"you okay"
matt asks simply glancing over to you.
"yeah why wouldnt I be"
you slightly giggle out as Matt shakes his head playfully.
"no reason"
he replys shrugging his shoulders fixating his attention back on his computer in front of him.
" i mean i am almost done with studying I am going to get through this exam I think"
you hesitantly squeal out not being fully aware of the toll the work was getting to you and your mental state just yet.
"okay thats good im glad you feel confident about it. Are you ready to take a break and go get lunch."
matt asks as you huff out and agreement as he stands up and extends his hand out to you to help you get off of the couch.
You two hopped into his car and headed to a Chickfila to get lunch.
"you want to go in or drive thru"
matt as you two were stopped at the red light before the left turn in the parking lot. You were fixates on scrolling through a series of exams and essays you had no idea were even on your plate to complete within the next couple of months before the fall semester is over.
"baby"
matt stated gaining your attention back to reality.
"huh oh yeah um drive thru actually"
you speak up trying to forget about what you saw on your phone and that you were beginning to freak out due to the fact you have yet to write the first sentence of.
"okay are you here with me"
matt chuckles out as he reaches over running his palm on your leg in the passenger seat as he pulls up to the ordering screen in the drive thru.
"yeah sorry i just didnt realize i had more essays to write otherwise I would have said we could go in but"
you simply state out as matt start rubbing you thigh comfortably, already sensing a little bit of overwhelm that was completely going unnotice by his very own girlfriend.
"yeah its okay i get that we will get our food and head back to your place and get them done okay"
he reassures as you sigh out again.
"plus we also still have dinner with Chris Nick and Madison Beer so and that's not until later so we will still go out to eat today"
he chuckles out as he places his hand to thread through your head as you hum out in contentment.
Time Skip
you guys had made it back to your apartment with lunch and you two were sitting at the table you neatly placed in the kitchen area. You were hyperfocused on starting the essays going into hyper focus completely forget the concept of time.
"baby its time to get ready dinner is at 7pm"
matt speaks up as he closes his computer and stands up from his seat head over to you placing his hands on your shoulders, lovingly.
" matt i have to finish these essays though can we-"
you whine out slowly looking up at him.
"can we reschedule or cancel tonight"
you question sheepishly as matt begins to chuckle.
"baby no we haven't been out of the house since early this afternoon and it 5:50pm, plus it will be fun"
he persuades and reasons with you. You agreed and headed up to your room to get dressed for dinner tonight *outfit reference* As you were getting ready you felt this constant strain on your chest which again was abnormal for your so you simply blow it off considering it was probably nothing.
"you ready"
att simply asks you as you finally made your way back downstairs, sensing that same feeling of overwhelm and anxiousness on you that he sensed earlier that day.
"ye-yeah just was feeling like some tightness in my chest but I am ready lets go"
you quickly reply out, grabbing your shoes so you can put them on in the car.
"are you sure that it was nothing"
matt asks you again showing his concern of you not acknowledging you being stressed over the essays and exams you have yet to finish and study for before the semester is over in 2 months.
"yeah i promise im okay"
you simply replied ad you and him walked out the door.
Time Skip
You and Matt connected with Nick Chris and Madison at the restaurant and everything was great. You guys were catching up on everything that was going on in life which kind of allowed you to forget all about your essay and exam you had yet to finish and study for for a little bit.
"so how has med school been"
Madison asks you, shifting the conversation.
"yeah its going for sure"
you huff out as the tightness slightly returning back in your chest at the very thought and mention of school. as if school couldn't get any better you get a notification on your phone that was saying that basically your professor is deciding to have grades finalized this upcoming month instead of the following month after the next month and its march 30th already.
You start feeling like the walls were closing in on you as if you were stuck in a box and couldn't find a way out. You begin to feel the tightness in your chest become more apparent making it hard to breathe to the point where you couldn't seem to get any air in or out of your body and lungs.
"hey you okay"
Chris ask from across the table noticing you place a hand on your chest as if to make sure your alive.
"hey let's go outside for a minute yeah"
matt calmly suggests knowing exactly whats happening and because he didn't want everyone in the restaurant to focus their attention towards you. You nodded you head barely giving him the approval for him to guide you outside in the parking lot.
"i-i matt"
you shakily strain out as you place a shaky on the brick wall of the exterior of the restaurant to help you sit on the floor.
"hey hey"
matt soothes walking over to you.
"tell me whats going on"
"i i cant breathe matt w-whats happening to me"
you exclaims uncontrollably sobbing, as matt kneels in front of you placing his forehead on your bring one of your hands to his chest to give you the awareness that you were still alive and that he was there with you.
"yes you can. Youre having a panic attack love its okay match my breathing"
He softly speaks as he begins inhaling and exhaling deeply, as you slowly follow along.
"there you go"
he whispers seeing your normal state of breathing return to normal, he moves from kneeling to sit next you.
"that was really scary thats never happened to me before"
you softly speak out as you lean your head on his shoulder.
"yeah i think school caught up to you didn't it"
he questions as you slightly sigh and nod you head not daring to speak on that topic currently.
"can we just go home i want to get some sleep"
you calmly ask, looking up at matt.
"of course lets go tell everyone bye then"
he replies helping you to stand up.
"hey are you okay"
nick asks you softly
"yeah"
you softly let out.
"i think we are going to head out she's not feeling the best so I am going to take her to get some rest"
matt chimes in as he brings you into his side rubbing your arm softly.
"aw okay we will see you guys soon its okay"
madison replies getting up and hugging the pair along with chris and nick following.
"feel better and we will see you at home I guess matt right"
chris states and asks.
"maybe i will text you if i end up staying at her place"
matt simply replies to his brother.
"fine by us"
nick chimes in as you two finally leave and get in the car.
You guys barely even made it out of the parking lot before you were already fast asleep in the passenger seat.

ᴘɪᴄɴɪᴄ ᴅᴀᴛᴇ ||ᴊᴀɪᴍᴇ ʀᴇʏᴇꜱ x ɢɴ! ʀᴇᴀᴅᴇʀ
I'll try to be more active this month ;) and pls send requests I'm bored
Summary: Jaime notices that you're sad and cheers you up with a picnic date after school
WARNINGS!! ->: Just itty witty bit of angst(maybe), fluff, BAD pet names, cliche writing...., reader having toxic parents, mentions of divorce, hurt/comfot
I had my head down and I couldn't barely focus during class. The teacher was clearly blabbing about some useless bullshit that I'll never use in the future. When lunch came, I didn't even eat anything and was already too tired to move. Life has been so bad recently. My parents have been arguing a little too much and they are on the edge of divorce. My grades have been slipping too, I already tried catching up but can't! I don't understand anything these stupid ass teachers are teaching. After the bell rang for 7th period, I felt a pair of hands hug my waist. I flinched, dropping all of my stuff, and tried breaking free. I felt the hands quickly retract before I was able to turn around.
"Woah there! Didn't mean to scare you, sorry babe." It was my boyfriend, Jaime Reyes. Jaime then apologized, picking up my dropped items. Jaime looked at me with worry before he smirked. I already knew he had an idea in mind, I just didn't know if it would be stupid or not. He wrapped his arms around my neck and spoke,
"Nice weather we are having today, don't you think?" I just nodded awkwardly while looking up at Jaime. "Well...I think the two of us should really go out and have fun! Like a date, a picnic date? What ya say, baby?" He looked at me with his big puppy eyes and of course, I said yes.
The both of us agreed to meet up 30 minutes after school in the field not too far from my home. The second I got home, I heard screaming and yelling coming from my parents. I ran to my room and closed my door. Tuning them out was basically a habit. I opened my closet and grabbed the sweater Jaime gave me for our first-ever date. I opened my window and jumped out of it. I didn't care that I still had my window open, I doubt my parents would even care.
On my way is what I texted before Jaime texted back Wait!! I'm setting up. Slow down mi vida. I chuckled, putting my phone in my pocket, and hood on. Once I reached the park, I saw Jaime wave at me. He was sitting on top of a blue blanket with snacks and drinks beside him. I walked towards him, waving, smiling, and feeling some sense of happiness in me. I sat down with him and he offered me some chips.
"Soo sorry if this isn't your favorite, I grabbed what I found in my house." He said, then pointing to all of the other snacks and drinks he brought. "Hope these would be fine. Next time, I'll be sure to visit the store beforehand." Jaime slightly turned his head away, his face turning pink. I smiled and took the bag of ships. The two of us talked and talked for hours on end until the set was starting to set.
I had my head on his shoulder and he had his arm around my waist. I was admiring the sunset but I couldn't help to smile because Jaime's eyes were just practically glued to my face. "Sweetie, your staring can be unsettling," I said, joking obviously. I playfully pushed his head and we both chuckled. He turned back to me, now holding my hand. I stared at him with confusion.
"What? Is there something wrong?" I asked. Jaime just shook his head. "I just have a question...It's alright if you don't answer! It's kinda stupid so..." Jaime tried putting his words together but it looked like he was shy about it. Like really shy. "Oh, a question? Go on. No matter how stupid it is, I still love you." Jaime took a breath before speaking.
"D-do you think we are together in every universe?" I lit up with happiness. I hugged him. "I think that we are always going to be together no matter the case. Whether we're dating or just friends. We are always going to be together, no matter what."
"Promise?"
"I promise."

POSER | blue lock v! x gn! reader
chapter 3: monster
Another chaired screeched across from you as the boy who had spoken sat down. You broke your intense focus for a moment before you were practically blinded by the bright colored hair than invaded your sight.
Purple, you stared, his hair is purple. Noticing your gaze, the boy grinned, and you noticed an inquisitive glint in his eyes. "Who's this, Nagi? Y'know 'im?" The boy--who you dubbed as 'Purple'--shifted his attention to the boy sitting beside you. You followed his gaze, being blinded again by the white mop of hair that was laying on the table. The boy in question shuffled a bit before lifting his head up to answer Purple.
"No, don't know 'im, just thought he seemed pretty chill. I want to eat in peace, not with a bunch of rowdy players." The boy, who was now dubbed (you guessed it) White (even though you knew his name), responded before shifting his head towards you. Brown eyes stared at you, and you got the same shivering feeling you had when the boy sitting on the ground stared at you from across the room during the beginning of Blue Lock.
You wondered why the stare felt so familiar, before almost face-palming when you realized that they're the same guy. You blankly sat in your seat, your eyes zoning out as you subconsciously lifted your food to your mouth. Why would he choose to sit with me when there is literally an empty table right next to the one I'm sitting at? What a drag. You watched as Purple proceeded to banter with White about not eating his food, and White simply whined at Purple before plopping his head face first onto the table. You couldn't help but chuckle, and both boys' heads turned to you immediately.
The white-haired boy stared at your food as his cheek rested on the table before making eye contact with you. He seemed to be debating about asking you something, and you heard Purple sigh from across the table.
"Nagi, please don't--"
"Hey, can I have some of your food?"
After hearing his words, your eye twitched. He seriously took that long to ask me a question about my food? Besides, why can't he eat his own food? You observed his food tray before you were struck by lightning. His food is literally the same as mine. Why the heck would he want my food? You could feel the same unnerving stare drilling into the side of your head while Nagi awaited your answer, and you swear he scooted his chair closer to yours. Sweat began to drip down the side of your head as you contemplated your decision.
Sighing, you finally gave in to his stare, and turned to face him. "Okay, but only some--I'm still really hungry." Immediately after hearing your words, the boy brightened up and turned to look at his friend.
"Did you hear that, Reo? He said yes." Nagi blankly stated, but for some reason you could see an imaginary tail wagging in excitement. Purple, who was apparently Reo, looked at you apologetically. You simply grinned at him, and he blinked in surprise, the tips of his ears dusting red. You were about to greet him (because you hadn't while you were angry that people had disturbed you and your food) before Nagi's voice spoke up.
"Hey," he tapped your hand with his pointer finger, "feed me." You blanked out.
"Nagi!"
"Oh, boo, Reo, he hasn't said no yet."
...
After you malfunctioned during lunch, Aryu came to your rescue, mentioning something about hair care before dragging you off to your shared room. You thanked him as he dragged you out of the room, holding your wrist.
He turned to you before flipping his hair behind himself, "You're welcome." He hummed, and you deadpanned.
For some reason, the walk back to your room seemed like it took forever.
"Y'know, you weren't looking very stylish earlier~" Aryu teased, and you groaned.
"Thanks." You sarcastically quipped back as you both entered your room, and he snorted at your attitude before leaving to his sleeping bag. There wasn't much to do for the afternoon, so you proceeded to converse with Tokimitsu about different football plays.
"[name]-[name], have you ever done a bicycle kick during a match to score a point?" You hummed. You had heard of it before--it seemed easy enough.
"Nah, but I bet I could. Have you?" You watched as the boy began shining like the sun, going on a rant about his football experiences on his high school team. An annoyed huff came from the sleeping bag next to yours, and you watched as Rin stood up and walked out the door, not sparing you a glance. You wondered where he was going. Nodding to yourself, you decided the next time he got up to leave, you'd go with him.
...
After spending a couple more hours attempting to entertain yourself by exploring Blue Lock (you got lost), you finally arrived back at your room, entering it again. Your friends and the other boys greeted you; Rin merely spared you a glance before going back to whatever he was doing. You groaned before deciding, I'm just going to go train. Yes, you were spontaneous like that.
...
The moment you stepped through the door to the training room, you were greeted with the words, "Because inside me, there is a monster lurking."
Yeah, no. You immediately did a 180, about to leave the room when a voice called out, "Hey, wait!"
(Curse your spontaneous decision-making brain.)
You did another 180, raising a brow at the blue-eyed boy who had just called out to you. The boy hesitated for a moment before stating, "We don't have to use the whole field, so you can practice if you want." Next to him, the monster boy hummed, his yellow highlights swaying as he tilted his head at you.
"Hey, Isagi, why don't we ask him to play with us~?" He hummed, and Isagi glanced at you. You simply shrugged your shoulders before approaching them. Once you got closer, both boys' eyes shifted to the number tag on your sleeve.
"Eh, wait, you're ranked the same as--" Isagi exclaimed, before letting out an 'oof' when the other boy slung an arm around his shoulders. Bachira only grinned at Isagi, and the bumblebee boy chuckled knowingly. You wondered what he thought was so funny.
"Nice to meet 'cha! I'm Bachira Meguru, and this is Isagi Yoichi." You smiled at them in return before you introduced yourself.
"Kankucho [best friend]."
Both boys grinned at you before Bachira grinned. "Kankucho, let's play a 1v1 match. Isagi, you can ref." Isagi simply nodded before stepping back. I guess I really don't have a choice, you concluded as you stared at Bachira's grin. He stood in position, and Isagi called for the 1v1 to start.
Bachira kicked the ball forward, and you were suprised by how quickly he dribbled around you. Quickly, you caught up to him, and he smiled at you. "You're pretty fast!"
You faced him and watched as he used another one of his dribbling techniques, but instead of being surprised, you grinned, your eyes squinting as you read his movements. The moment he moved his right foot forward, you slid your left foot towards the ball, and skillfully maneuvered it between his legs before you sprinted down the field as fast you could. You were already a few paces ahead of the boy and once you had arrived at the goal, you kicked the ball towards it, scoring.
Turning around, you grinned at the panting Bachira and wide-eyed Isagi before sighing to yourself. Now I want to sleep. You were broken out of your stupor when Bachira practically tackled you. You planted your feet in the ground, somehow managing to stop yourself and the small boy from falling to the ground. Isagi jogged up to you, grinning, "That was pretty good, Kankucho."
"Thanks." You hummed before ruffling Bachira's hair. You turned towards the door, tilting your head back to smile at both of them. "Let's play again soon. I can't wait to see how you both become stronger."
It wasn't an if statement, both boys realized as they watched your back disappear behind the closed door. You were confident you would see them again, and they weren't about to let you down.
...
The next morning, you woke up to Ego's drawling voice. "Are you enjoying your life at Blue Lock?" You stood up, moving to stand next Rin as you watch the big screen display Ego's obnoxious haircut once again. The man continued. "Let's talk about Blue Lock now. The facility is arranged into five different strata. We have twenty-five teams, ranging from B to Z." You zoned out as Ego announced how many players were left in Blue Lock. You observed your number but saw that it hadn't changed. You glanced at Rin's tag and sighed internally. Of course, he's ranked the highest out of our team.
You zoned back in when Ego announced, "Let the first selection begin."

THE TEACHER NEXT DOOR - A Miss Circle x Miss Bloomie Fanfic
Chapter 1 - Last First Day
"What do you want to be when you grow up?"
"Hmm... A science teacher, what about you, what do you want to be?"
"Heh... I'll be whatever you want to be!"
.
. b l o o m i e...
. Bloomie?..
"BLOOMIE!" Thavel yelled slamming her fists down on my desk.
"AHH!" I jumped back in my chair startled by her. Angrily, I slammed my fists back on my desk at her, "Don't fucking scare me like that!"
"You weren't listening to a word I said!" Thavel exclaimed dramatically throwing her hands up.
"I was listening, I was just... thinking," I replied rolling my eyes.
"Oh yeah, thinking about what?!" She snapped.
Suddenly, the chair from the desk beside mind screeched disrupting our quarreling and I couldn't help but turn to face the teacher of that oh so annoying chair that got on my nerves... Miss Circle.
"Oh... I see~" Thavel whispered nudging my shoulder. I growled at her as she give me that stupid cheeky grin she does when Circle's around.
We watched as the math teacher quietly gathered her stuff and left the staff room. As soon as the door closed behind her a sighed escaped my mouth and I sadly bowed my head.
"I still don't know why you two stopped talking," Thavel said.
I sigh once again and stood up from my desk, gathering my things for my first class of the first day. Miss Thavel followed, gathering her things then exiting the staff room with me.
"Ya know, you still haven't answered my question from earlier," Thavel brought up.
"What was it?" I asked.
"Do you know when the faculty is starting prep for the college entrance exams?" she asked, "I dropped my phone in the toilet so I didn't get the see the group chat."
"I think they said something about starting as soon as possible, somewhere between late September to early October," I answered.
"Damn, they aren't playing around this year," Thavel said as we both came to a hault at her classroom door, "Thanks for letting me know, we'll chat at lunch." She said then entered her classroom.
I continued my walk down the hallway and up to the third floor. By the time I reached the last step I was gasping for air. Why did they place all the science classes at the top floor?! They don't give a damn about us science teachers while all the business subjects got the ground floor. After catching my breath, I made my way to my classroom.
"Morning class," I said resting my textbooks and markers down on my desk. I was given the seniors this year which meant I had to do college EE prep for Bio. Flights of stairs and now loads of work on my tiny back, great!
"Okay class, this is your last year, which means double the work, usually, I would've done introductions for the first day but prep is really early this year so I'm doing a dive straight into the work, I want to us finish the syllabus by January so we can focus on past papers for the rest of the semester," I explained, "Today we'll be learning about the digestive system so turn to page 118."
As everyone flickered through their text books, I took the chance to scribble the date and topic on the board and wait. My eyes wondered from the board to the room next door. Miss Circle's classroom. New Semester, new attitude huh. Surprisingly her door was wide open. I was a bit intrigued since she usually keeps it close and locked while mine stayed open. Curious, I peeked over into her class.
"Listen up class!" She yelled at the students. It looks like she has a senior class too since I over heard her explaining the CEE prep to them. "Hey! What did I say about eating in my class Oliver!" She yelled at a student, "Is that a pack of oreos I see, give me that!" She dashed off to somewhere in the classroom when she came back up front she was ravaging the snack. As she downed the last cookie she looked up at her doorway and we locked eyes. She then walked over and slammed the door shut then locked it.
I sighed and continued on with my class. I guess she just forgot to close it.
.
.
Lunch rolled around and I made my way through the busy hallways where I bumped into Sasha and we chatted all the way to the staff room where we met up with Thavel.
"We should go drinking tonight!" Thavel suggests.
"I don't think that's a good idea..." I added.
"Oh come on Bloomie," Sasha whined, "All the teachers always go out to drink on the first school night, it's a tradition and you're the only one that don't show up, even Grace shows up and she's like... the principal."
" Well that's her, 1. I have a low alcohol tolerance and 2. I'm not showing up the work hung-over and Sasha don't you teacher the kindergarteners?!" I stated, "This is dumb, why can't we do this on a Friday or something?"
"It's to boring, everyone drinks and party on a Friday, that's why where doing this on a Monday, to spice things up," Sasha adds.
"I swear for adults you guys are irresponsible," I mumbled.
"Come on girl, we're nearly in our 40's we're not getting any younger, plus when was the last time you brought anyone home," Sasha said pulling at my nerves.
Thavel chuckled not making me feel any better. "Come on Bloomie, you need to have some fun and stop being so serious all the time, we'll monitor how much you drink."
As much as I felt offended, they were kinda right. I was a bit too serious and strict and I haven't been in a relationship for a long while. I did need to take a break. "But we literally just came back from vacation."

Ramble about how my day went—
My day went kinda okay compared to yesterday. Sky looked pretty as per usual and it was all cloudy and cool this morning. I've been getting into taking photos of stuff a lot for some reason. And along the bus ride, I admired the scenery from outside and took some videos of it, but I won't be sharing them. The grass always looks really green and pretty tho.
Had some Gatorade for breakfast since I didn't wanna eat anything they were serving, and sat with my friends. Then I went to Psychology once breakfast was over—the lesson kinda went off track because the teacher and the students kept talking, and we were also doing an introduction thing to the next unit.
I ended up going to Spanish next, which was really fun since it was someone's birthday and the teacher themed the lesson around birthdays this time around. She kept talking about food though and that just ended up making us all hungry jdndndn
And then in Chemistry, we just cut some stuff out and glued it in our notebooks. Kinda messed up halfway through, but my friend helped me out. My other friend was also kinda having trouble the whole time.
And then in Technology, we kinda literally just got to play games all day because we're apparently gonna make some thing about how we think the animation in said game works. I ended up creating a Roblox account and played Natural Disaster Survival and Resturant Tycoon it til the period was over.
Lunch came around, and the sky was all bright and blue and the grass was really green as well. It was really warm though like usual. I only ended up eating two chip bags and a coca cola for lunch, and my other other friend stole a small gummy thing I packed cuz he wanted it (he usually always wants my food—). I just joked around with my friends the whole time and played some more Roblox on my phone.
Then English came around—we read some more of a book we're currently reading (It's called Monster and it's about this sixteen year old boy on trial for murder but I can't remember who wrote it), and once we finished with that, we did a small activity. While waiting for everyone else to finish, I also doodled Lila and Carmen on the board. Don't have any photos of it tho. We ended up having to read what we wrote for the activity aloud, and I have a very quiet voice, so I had to talk in my 'radio' voice when reading 😭
Theater came around as well—and I worked on a Tablo about the Three Little Piggys with my group since we were doing fairytale themed ones. We kinda goofed off the entire time though and couldn't stop laughing. We were put on hold because someone fainted in the hallway apparently, so we were given a few more minutes of class. Still hoping whoever it was is okay. We got time to perform our tablo at the end of class tho.
Then Geometry—my normal teacher who makes me really uncomfortable wasn't around and just the coach who actually owns the classroom, so I got to work on my geometry assignment in peace without being interrupted or asked a bunch of personal questions or being stared at. My wifi ended up going wonky about halfway though and I had to sit in boredom for the last few minutes of class til it was time to go.
As for my last period which is World History—we just did some test thing which went by surprisingly fast, but the boys were kinda talking during studying time and making it hard for some people to focus. Not sure what grade I got yet but I think I did well. I was given a different version of the text because of my autism I think. Not sure why I actually received a different version though. I went on my computer and watched spooky month for a bit til it was time to go.
And then on the bus ride back, I watched a Phisnom vod, drew the Mauve image I drew for her blog on the way, and recorded some more videos of the drive because of how pretty it looked outside.. that's pretty much it.

23:51 — why don't you get it? can't you get it? understand, they're gonna execute the mother, to elevate the man. they're gonna propagate the killer, eliminate the youth. | digital silence by peter mcpoland
trigger warnings: this extra contains heavy subjects such as strained family relationships, child neglect, drug/alcohol abuse, and mentions of mental illness. please read at your own risk.
it was barely enough time to take a shower before your father decided it was time to shut off the water. so, you decided against it as a whole. the last time you showered was almost two weeks ago, at san's house.
the milk crates that held your mattress up were uncomfortable on your spine, the middle of the mattress sinking downward, making you have to sleep on the very edge of the bed. it was hardly your room anymore; your mother and father's clothes littered the floor, covered your makeshift desk and the stool you used as a child.
you laid on the bed, staring at the ceiling and watched the daddy long legs in the corner catch a mosquito in it's web and quickly dashed to the area the mosquito landed.
in all honesty, in this house, the daddy long legs was your only friend; protecting you from harmful creatures, keeping you company in the empty space. with your youngest sibling living with your grandmother, you were the last one to be left in the room.
fuck it, you sat up, i'm taking a shower.
you crept down the hallway, sticking to the wall like a daddy long legs to avoid the squeaky boards, before you lifted the door slightly so the hinges didn't squeak and stepped into the bathroom.
you started the shower head, the bath tub already filling from the clogged drain of hair, soap and oils. your father promised to clear it out, but, he never did. just like how he promised to take you to the park after you got your new bike for your birthday. that was before he sold it to get his next hit.
you only just started to undress when a knock came from the door.
"what do you think you're doing this late?" your mother shouted over the water.
you sighed, pulling on your shirt and shorts to go open the door, looking at your mother's sunken cheeks, deep set eyes and blisters the covered her skin, especially her fingers, "i was just going to clean the bathroom a little. mop and everything."
"your father is about to turn off the water." she rolled her eyes, "we won't have hot water for a week. he needs the water heater."
"what for?"
"aren't you the child? don't question me!" her voice raised and that's when you knew; he needed the water heater to sell. "once you get into the sciences, you can have all the hot water you want."
you hated when she brought up the future she wanted for you; pharmaceutical science. you didn't want to do that; you honestly weren't even smart enough to do it.
ever since your parents got into this lifestyle, your grades have suffered. you only went to school because it got you away from their house and their fighting. you would eat alone at lunch, since seojoong started living with your grandmother and since san had second lunch, whereas you had first.
you didn't focus in class, you hardly even participated. you weren't a good worker, and you didn't even know how to study properly. homework never got done, tests got failed. but your parents never cared. they never showed up for your meetings with the principal.
and you couldn't just tell the that your parents sold your youngest brother to your grandmother, or that you haven't taken a decent shower in two weeks. or that you only got to eat at school.
or that they would take a copious amount of drugs.
because if you did, you were going to be put into the foster care system, and then, you'd have to work from the bottom up again.
so you just swallowed your pride and told them that your parents were at work, and that you would pass on the word to them when you got home.
but, you never did. you always let the wound fester, and then eventually forget about it.
if anyone asked what you wanted to do with yourself in the future, if you got away from this torture of a family, you'd always say the same thing.
"i'd want to be happy." you shrugged.
it made sense, right? to do everything you love while being happy.
if you had the choice, and the money, you would sign yourself up for sports. you know san and his family would come watch. maybe even grandma and seojoong.
"you're right, mom." you smile at her, as everything began to play in your head; the tears, the strained words, the hospital visits.
because of all this, you can't even trust your instincts. is smiling so bad that it'll cause you to get yelled at? is even telling her she's right going to get you in trouble?
"i know i am." she forced herself into the bathroom, and you stopped the running shower before wandering back to your room.
the daddy long legs sat there, staring at you.
and you stared back.
he was the only one who witnessed everything.
if only he could speak.

Ho Ho Ho! It's your Secret Santa!
Season 3, with canon divergent/compliant with a good helping of angst and hurt/comfort? Sounds like you have some excellent taste there, my dear. 😉
I hear you on the season 5 whump! They fed us well that season, didn't they?
My first question for you: What is one moment you wish we had gotten? (in season 3, since it's your fav. or a different season, if applicable)
Or, what is one moment you wish had more fic written about it? (ex: do you want more fics of Emma leaving him on the beanstalk? or more that focus on the downtime between getting back from Neverland and having to leave Storybrooke? do you want more fics of him finding her in New York? maybe a bit more focus on his time in the Underworld?) I'd love to know about it!
And my last question to you: What is your favourite thing about the holidays? Any favourite movies? Songs? What's your favourite thing to eat this time of year? And anything else about the season that you absolutely love, I want to hear your thoughts!
Wishing you a wonderful holiday season!
~Santa 🎅
^^^^^ Same energy from me rn, buddy :D!!
I eat any canon divergent/compliant fic from seasons 3-5 for breakfast, second breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. I just have an enduring soft spot for season three... the mutual pining! Hook giving up his ship for her! Time travel! Neverland! Even wacky Zelena and her antics! It's just such fun. I was just reading Persuasion by Jane Austen earlier this year, and there were so many pining lines that made me think of Captain Swan, especially season three. I want to do some CS + Jane Austen gif sets next year. 👀 I think I have a problem. (But I'm in the right fandom, eh? 😆)
The season five whump was just a thing of beauty. They really wanted Killian to suffer for his sins, and I loved every second of it. Is it MY fault he looks so good covered in blood and in pain? That makes ME the freak? 🙄
Oooooh, things I wish we'd gotten more of. 👀 Excellent question, buddy. Well, I loved season three, as you know, but I guess I wish we'd gotten more moments of friendship between them. I love that they took things slow, that Emma needed that, needed to let herself trust him, and he seemed to just know she needed that time. So he kept flirting with her and making his interest wildly apparent, but he left it up to her to tell him when she was ready. And that is just!!!! So romantic and beautiful and it was so good for Emma's character, how she was able to ease into a friendship and a partnership and a trust relationship with him first. And he just kept taking up more and more room in her heart, until she realized she couldn't live without him and started pushing him away in S4 to protect him 🙃 Who is doing it like them??? No one, that's who
So yeah. 🥰 Obviously I'm very normal about them. I think I would have loved more moments of friendship between the two of them, in the beginning. I loved their trip to the past, because it was just them. And then I loved Hook's scenes with Henry, as well as his scenes with Snowing, and everyone slowly accepting him as an integral part of Emma's life and thus their family. But then!! We have those beautiful, enigmatic six weeks in S4 where Rumple was gone, after Killian's heart was taken (another one of my absolute favorite storylines, wish we'd seen more of that, too). What happened in those beautiful six weeks of peace, where CS just got to date like normal people and fall more in love? I want to see it!! And then I'm always down for more time in the Underworld, too. I think it's an absolute tragedy that Emma was able to just magic all his wounds away. 🥲
I do love this time of year. Fall is my favorite, and in Michigan, where I am, it's much too short and our winter days are much too long. But I've been falling more and more in love with winter, the older I get. I love comfy sweater season, and being able to wear a cute beanie on days I don't want to do my hair. 😅 Our house is small, but this time of year, with warm lights over our banister and a Christmas tree in the living room and a Christmas village set up over my bookshelves, it doesn't feel small. It feels cozy and warm. We have a woodburning stove too that heats our entire house, so it's dry and toasty warm and smells wonderful. I had my qualms when we moved to this particular house a few years ago, but how cozy it gets in the winter season has made it feel like a home. I love being able to hunker down and not have to go anywhere, and I love the excuse to spend time reading by the fire with a warm drink. 💝
I do love picking out presents for people, too, and spending time with family, and eating way too much junk food. (Another reason to be thankful for sweater season lololol) It's all lovely to me. I'm not a summer girly. I like the cold weather. 😎
Thanks for visiting me, Santa! I'd love to hear about your favorite CS scenes, and your family holiday traditions! Until we talk again!

I'm back and reading chapter 9 of the Sign book. Much more focus on the investigation this chapter.
We start with Tharn making breakfast. Same as the show but he's alone eating a fried egg, hotdog, and toast. He is not a very good cook so he sticks with simple foods. He gets a text from P'Mhor which is the doctor(I'm far too proud that I realized Prem was using this for Ten in Cooking Crush today) asking to meet for lunch but Tharn tells him he'll probably be busy with the case. Chalotorn insists on taking him out to celebrate if he does have time later. This makes Tharn smile because he likes free food.
The DSI dress code is a black or dark suit with white shirt and...yeah I wish we got that in the show. Billy and Babe would look so good in suits. Or that may just me having a thing for men in suits. Tharn thinks he's 5 minutes early but everyone is already there when he gets to the meeting room and the captain tells him he's late.
There are a bunch of different forensic officers in the room being introduced. The head of forensic medicine went to high school with the captain. They have several different teams but they are missing toxicology as they won't be joining for several days. After all the intros, Tharn noticed a forensic scientist standing by himself so Tharn introduced himself. The man says his name is Vito and they are called back to their separate teams.
As Tharn heads back, he suddenly feels an icy cold sensation at the base of his neck causing his hair to stand on end and makes him feel like he's being touched. Phaya notices and tries to get him to move back to the conference room but Tharn can hear something. A whisper or buzzing that he shouldn't be able to hear but does. Something no one should be able to hear but somehow Tharn is able to.
Tharn is finally snapped out of his daze by the captain who is very unhappy with him. He goes to sit but she makes him come over to her instead. She smacks him with a folder and says he embarrassed her and that he's acting like he's not ready to work. He apologizes and she tells him to go back to his seat. Phaya asks if he's ok and he nods.
They divvy up the work of who is going to interview all of the victims of the murdered men. They have a tablet thing with all of the relevant info for each victim. They call them Kinds because they are like modified Kindles. Everyone leaves and Tharn thinks Yai follows to check that he's ok but no he lectures him about being late and tells Phaya to take care of him.
Tharn hears the voice again but this time he can make out what's being said: help him. Please help him. And Phaya is thinking of his dream the night before.
They get to their victims house and she is less than cooperative. She doesn't want to answer their questions as it brings up too many bad memories of the past. She has a daughter from the assault. They ask to speak with the daughter but she starts yelling at them and slams the door in their faces. So they go visit the daughter at school instead. She also doesn't want to talk but something about her makes Tharn suspicious that she's hiding something. Phaya agrees but they don't have enough to do more now.
They get back to the office and report everything to Singh and Thongthai. Yai brought in one of the victims he talked to because they were acting suspicious. As they are all discussing things, the captain brings in a woman draped in a red dress. It's a woman from one of the photos in Phaya's wallet. Phaya is not thrilled to see her and asks for Tharn's help.
They go into the visitor room and the woman bumps Tharn out of the way to get to Phaya. She wants to have lunch with Phaya but Phaya puts his arm around Tharn's shoulder and winks at him. The woman starts whining and begging. Phaya insists he can't go to lunch with her and that she promised she would stop bothering him after they broke up. Some grossness about how they had sex when he was drugged and of course he couldn't resist a woman that served herself up when under the influence.
Phaya and Tharn go out to lunch and Tharn calls Phaya daddy again. Anyways Tharn can't undo his seatbelt so Phaya has to help him. Phaya realizes how much Tharn looks like Vanvisa close up. He puts his hands on Tharn's cheeks and then under his chin saying. Tharn asks what the hell he's doing and Phaya says that he looks so much like her. Tharn asks like who but they are of course interrupted by Chalotorn. He asks if they are ok because they stayed in the car for so long. They say no they were just talking. Chalotorn takes Tharn's hand and Phaya watches as they walk into the restaurant. Phaya wonders why the doctor doesn't like him.

Time for another request. Namjoon was spared from my last food poisoning story but he isn't safe this time and it hits him hard.
Warning: vom!t that's all. Let's get into the story. Feel free to make any suggestions
"Can we stop to get something to eat before the interview? I'm starving hyung.." Taehyung looks at Namjoon with big puppy dog eyes. "I haven't gotten to eat today.."
Namjoon checks the time. "We only got an hour before the interview, are you sure you can't wait?"
"I can wait.." Taehyung says with a pout.
"We can stop somewhere on the way, can't we, Namjoonie-hyung? He won't be able to focus if he's hungry and my stomach is growling, too." Jimin suggests gently.
"Alright, we can stop somewhere, but we have to make it quick. There's a burger place nearby. I'll ask staff if they could get us some." Namjoon gives in to his younger brothers.
"You hardly ate, are you feeling okay?" Jin asks taking the last bite of his burger.
"I'm fine, I'm just not really hungry." Namjoon states. "I ate a lot last night, I'll be fine."
"We're leaving in five minutes." A staff member says knocking on the door.
"Okay!" Namjoon calls to them. "Lunch time is over, it's time to clean up." He orders the others, helping them clean up.
Taehyung shoves a few more fries in his mouth while Namjoon tries to put it away. "You're going to gain weight if you keep eating like that."
"Hobi-hyung, he's picking on me..." Taehyung playfully whines with a fake cry going to the closest big brother, making J-hope giggle, hugging Taehyung close.
"He's been working hard, he'll be okay." J-hope kisses Taehyung on the top of the head lovingly. "Let's get going."
"Namjoon..she asked you a question.." Yoongi gently nudges Namjoon with his elbow whispering.
Namjoon couldn't focus on the interview, his stomach screaming in pain. (Maybe i should've eaten with the others...) He tried to discreetly rub his stomach to try to ease the pain.
"Namjoon-ah.." Yoongi speaks a little louder, Namjoon looks at Yoongi who gestures at the interviewer holding the mic to him.
Namjoon quickly looks at the woman standing in front of him, bowing deeply. "{I'm sorry, but could you repeat the question..}"
"{I asked how many countries you are visiting for on your tour. I know there are three different cities you are visiting in the US.}" The woman repeats.
"{We are going to five other countries after we leave the US..}" Namjoon answers.
"{We are going to Brazil next, then Germany.}" Yoongi draws the attention away from Namjoon.
He feels someone grab his hand, looking down to see Taehyungs slender fingers wrap around.
"Hyung you're shaking.." Taehyung whispers. "Are you okay?"
"I'll be okay. Focus on the reporter...we don't want to be rude.." Namjoon gives his hand a squeeze leaning a bit against him.
J-hope glares at their translator, motioning for them to translate. Jin moves in front of him, blocking him from the reporters view to stop her from asking him anymore questions.
The interview went smoothly thanks to the members handling the situation. Namjoon cheered loudly when the members cheered, even though he wasn't concentrating on the conversation. (I have to keep smiling.. I don't want to worry, army..)
J-hope tucks his arm in the crook of Namjoons elbow, the group moving quickly to get him away from all the camera flashes.
Namjoon finally lets his smile drop when they enter the waiting room. His voice comes out small only being heard by J-hope."I think I'm going to throw up.." As soon as he spoke, a wet burp escaped him. Namjoon covers his mouth, trying to hold in the bile thar rose up his throat. Jin helps him into a chair, "Jungukk get the wastebin."
Jungkook quickly looks for a waste bin, bringing it to Namjoon. "Here, hyung."
Namjoon holds it close to his chest, his dinner from last night coming back up again. It comes out in violent heaves, leaving him feeling weak and dizzy. Anytime he tried to gasp to get air, his stomach stopped him, adding more mostly digested food into the bin. The acid tang burned his throat, making him cough.
"Poor Joon.. he's really sick.." Jin keeps his hands firmly on Namjoon's shoulders to keep him from falling forward, feeling him trembling. "He can't perform tonight.."
"We will have to have someone cover his parts or-"
"No..no I can do it.. it's just two songs.." Namjoon interrupts J-hope, shakily sitting up, trying to catch his breath.
"Namjoonie, are you sure? You shouldn't push yourself." J-hope looks at him with worried eyes.
"Yes, I'm feeling better now.. I can do it.." Namjoon places the trash bin on the floor.
Jimin hands Namjoon a tissue box. "I don't think you should perform. You don't look like you're feeling better.."
"I can do it.." Namjoon tried so sound more confident than he felt, trying his best to wipe the sweat and vomit from his face. (My right side hurts every time I breathe.. I need to get my breathing under control..)
"I'll trust you.. but try to take it easy when you perform. You should sit and perform instead of dancing."J-hope says, rubbing his back.
"I'm okay. Really." Namjoon insisted. "It's probably just because I didn't eat today.. I'll eat right after the performance.." (I don't want to disappoint army..)
J-hope hugs him from behind. "You're so stubborn. If you really think you can do it I won't stop you, but I'll At least get them to put a chair on stage just in case, but if you throw up again before we go on I'm pulling you from the performance. I'm serious."
The boys quickly got their makeup touched up before going into the audience to watch the others perform. Namjoon puts on a face mask to try to hide his face, and Taehyung takes a hat from his bag putting it on him.
"They'll have to style my hair again.."
"I'll apologize to them. I just don't want the camera to focus on you.." Taehyung takes Namjoon by the hand putting him in the middle of him and Jin.
They didn't get to sit for long before the group was called on stage to accept an award announcing them as the winner. Yoongi puts a hand on his shoulder as they walk. They give the award to Namjoon and try to pass him the mic, but J-hope reaches for it instead.
"AAMMMIII..." He yells into the mic, drawing the attention to himself. Jin and Jungkook stand to block Namjoon from view, and Yoongi speaks next, trying to mimic the speech Namjoon was reciting to himself in the car.
Namjoon leans his chin on Jin, a wave of vertigo blurring his vision. Jungkook takes Namjoon's hand, leading him off the stage. Namjoon nearly tripped going down the steps, Jin steadying him."It's okay if you can't perform. You don't have to do this. You can hardly handle the steps.."
"I just tripped. I'm okay." Namjoon tells him. (If I keep repeating myself, maybe it'll come true..)
They win three more awards before the performance, the members playing keep away with their leader any time they tried to make him speak. Their performance was next and they went into the green room to get their in ears and mics.
(We're doing the beginning of save me..then switching to I'm fine...) Namjoon let out a dry chuckle at the irony of the situation.
"What's so funny?" Jungkook asks.
"The songs we choose.." Namjoon answers.
"Are you sure you don't want to sit this one out?" J-hope asks again, his voice thick with worry not finding the situation humorous. "It's okay to rest if you have to. Army doesn't want us pushing too hard. If we explain.."
Namjoon shakes his head. "I can do it." (At least.. I hope I can..) His stomach felt a little better, but the medicine the staff gave him was not doing much to help with the nauseous feeling that washed over him as soon as he went under the hot stage lights.
His body moved on instinct, running to his position and getting in sync with the other members. The sound of Army chanting their names gave him strength, but he the jumping made the pain in his stomach return with a vengeance. When he layed down for Jimin's verse he was afraid he wouldn't be able to get back up again, but he forced himself back up, fear washing over him when he remembered he was going to be center for his rap verse.
The members couldn't stop looking in his direction, and when his rap part came he came a second too late, having to do it off beat.
He stopped to try to get back on track, and when he did he heard thousands of voices singing his part with him. Army had joined in with him. Their voices gave him the adrenalin he needed, coming back strong to finish his part.
(I can do this.. we're halfway through.. I just need to hold out a little longer..)He couldn't jump as high as the other members, getting off sync because his feet hit the ground too early. (Sh*t..i can't do this...)Namjoon couldn't help but wrap a hand around his sour stomach when another painful cramp hit, the stress getting to him. (It's J-hope's verse now...) He was glad to stop moving a moment, but when it was his turn to jerk back up he stumbled into J-hope.
J-hope steadied him, helping him back into position, continuing the choreography. Namjoon tries to do the same, but he couldn't focus. His body remembered the steps for him.
"Let me lift V instead." He hears Yoongi whisper, gently nudging him to go into his position.
It took a moment to process what he was saying before it clicked. (Yoongi already had to lift Taehyung once..) it was too late to make any more changes, Yoongi already in position to lift Taehyung.
The two rappers struggled to switch back to the original positions, almost colliding into each other.(Now Yoongi made a mistake because of me. I can't mess up anymore..) Namjoon pushed through the last thirty seconds of the song, feeling his body swaying at the end. He tried to close his eyes to wait for the dizziness to pass, but his knees buckled. Jin quickly grabbed him by the shoulders. J-hope and Jin help him off the stage, moving quickly to get him away from the crowd, going into the green room. "I'm sorry..I did so bad..." Namjoon felt tears prick at the corners of his eyes. "I'm gonna throw up..."
Taehyung quickly grabs the waste bin, putting it in front of Namjoon. "You did great for being so sick."
"You did the best you could. I can't believe you actually made it through the whole performance.." J-hope rubs his back as he gets sick. Namjoon had nothing left his his stomach, only acid coming up, making him gag more at the awful taste.
"Don't worry about it. All you can do is give it everything you got. You did that and more." Jin tries to comfort Namjoon, rubbing his tensed shoulders.
"I'm sorry.. I shouldn't have performed.. I should've listened." Namjoon sobbed, burying his face in his hands, then quickly looking up again. "Yoongi-yah.. are you okay?"
"Don't worry about me. I'm fine. Just focus on yourself." Yoongi tried to sound strong, but pain laced his voice, rubbing his shoulder.
"That was quick thinking Yoongi-hyung. I feel stupid for not realizing that would be an issue. I should've done it instead." J-hope praises Yoongi, causing him to blush lightly.
"I was the closest one that could do it so I just followed my instinct. I didn't want him or Taehyung getting hurt." Yoongi dismisses the praise.
"Thanks, Yoongi-hyung.." Namjoon says softly.
Jungkook wipes Namjoon's tears, handing him a water bottle. "Please don't cry hyung. You're going to make me cry.."
Namjoon looks up at the mankae, his eyes already shining with unshed tears. "I'm sorry. I'm fine now.."
"Let's get you home." Jin helps Namjoon get the mic pack and inears off. "I'll make you some jook. You need to eat something."
"I don't think I can eat.." Namjoon responds honestly, taking a small sip of water to try to get rid of the taste in his mouth.
"You have to try at least a little for me. Please at least try.. Okay?" Jin begs
"hyung..." Namjoon's stomach churns at just the thought of food, causing him to gag more bile coming up, cursing under his breath. His eyes water as his stomach tightens, painfully vomiting.
Jin looks around at the others, everyone getting ready to help Namjoon get home, forming a circle like the body guards.
Fans flash photos of the boys while they get to the car, screaming for the boys to try to get their attention. Namjoon struggles just to keep walking forward, the adrenalin that kept him going gone. The six boys form a bubble around him, blocking him from view, them waving wildly and flashing hearts. The body guards are extra protective as well, making sure no one steps a single foot over the ropes.
Jin keeps one hand discreetly around Namjoon's waist to be sure he doesn't fall, and yoongi keeps hold of Namjoon's clammy hand, holding it tight.
"Love you army!" J-hope and Taehyung yell cheerfully over the crowd, bowing and making hearts as Jin and Yoongi help Namjoon into the car, moving him by the window.
"Thank you, army. Love you!" Jungkook joins in making a heart over his head.
The seven boys make it in the car safely, Taehyung and Jungkook waving out the window before rolling it up again.
"It's finally over." Namjoon sighs in relief, leaning his head on Jin.
"You're really warm, Joon.." Jin sucks in air through his teeth, running a hand across Namjoon's forehead into his hair. "You're still sweating, too."
"I'll take a bath when we get back. I don't think I could stand long enough for a shower.." Namjoon closes his eyes tightly, the movement of the car being too much for his stomach to handle. "Please.. stop the car.."
When the driver tries to switch lanes to pull over, the bile already rose up his throat, all color leaving his face.
"It can't wait. Roll down the window!" J-hope orders, Jin rolling down the window and helping Namjoon move to stick his head out. Namjoon gets sick all over the car door, body trembling violently.
"We need to get him to a hospital.. he's going to need an IV at this rate.." Jin says sounding panicked, rubbing Namjoon's back. "Please, take us to a hospital.." He asks the driver.
When they arrive at the hospital Namjoon couldn't walk, needing to sit in a wheelchair as he waits, a nurse gives him a pink bin in case he had to get sick again, and to Namjoon's horror, his stomach tightened, causing him to heave, more sick coming out.
"{Please. No flim. No photo. No post.}" Jin pleads with the people around them in English, taking off his jacket to cover up Namjoon from view.
Security had to usher people away but that didn't stop them from trying to get as much footage as they could before being pushed away.
The hospital is quick to get them in a private room. Jin helps Namjoon onto the bed then helping him undress to put on the gown. The nurse knocks on the door, Jin peeking through the crack before letting her in.
"{Hello I'm Miss. Maple, I'm going to be your nurse today, do you understand?}" She speaks slowly.
"{I'm fluent in English..}" Namjoon explains to her, voice shaking.
Jin held Namjoon's hand as he spoke with the nurse, rubbing his thumb across his knuckles. "It's okay if you need to cry." He whispers. "She'll understand."
Namjoon shakes his head, elbowing Jin softly, not letting his emotions out until she leaves the room to get an IV bag.
"It's going to be everywhere.." Namjoon whimpers, hot tears rolling down his cheeks.
"No it won't. I'll make sure of it even if I have to report every video myself." Jin tells him. "The company will handle it. The other members are already on it too. We will get this taken care of. You just focus on getting better." Jin wipes the tears from Namjoon's face, pulling a small pack of tissues from his bag. "You got snot all over your face." Jin tuts, cleaning up his nose. "It's not that big of a deal. Everyone gets sick."
"I'm sorry Hyung.." Namjoon sniffles, trying to stop.
"Don't be. It's not your fault. Just try to rest some while we wait for the nurse. You look exhausted." Jin gives him a soft kiss on the forehead.
Namjoon went back to the hotel after two IV bags, the doctor confirming it's just food poisoning. Namjoon felt safer at the hotel where the other members were not wanting to spend a night alone in the hospital.
To his surprise when Jin lead him back to his room to rest for the night, the other five members were in his room.
"Namjoonie-hyung!" Jungkook was the first to go greet him, hugging him lightly. "Are you feeling any better?"
"A little..what are you doing in here..?" Namjoon asks
"I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep until I saw you in person, and the others felt the same." Taehyung answers, taking his turn to hug onto Namjoon.
"I want to show you something!" J-hope says, pulling up something on his laptop. When Namjoon went over to see what he was talking about he saw it was Twitter. He was trending all over Twitter, but he didn't see a single clip of him getting sick. Twitter was flooded with get well messages and praise.
"All the platforms are like this. The company put out a warning about filming our private moments, but it looks like Army has your back, too. If the clips are out there, they are getting reported so fast I haven't seen them." J-hope gets up, hugging Namjoon. "You have no reason to worry. Everyone understands."
Relief washes over Namjoon, sighing in relief.
"Now that you're feeling better mentally, let's work on physically. You need to rest, but first, could you at least eat this banana or some applesauce? Just something small so you have something in your stomach..?" Jimin asks with worry plastered on his face. "I read it's good for when you've been throwing up."
"Alright.. I'll try, but after you guys need to get to bed. You look dead on your feet." Namjoon peels the banana open, taking a bite to appease the young vocalist.
Namjoon lays in bed, regretting his decision to please Jimin, but he wasn't worried about being sick anymore.
(They all handled the situation so well.. I'm so proud to be a part of this team, and army.. They were quick to defend me..)
Namjoon rushes to go throw up again, just barely having the strength to sit up. As he throws up the mush that was once a banana, another wave of dizziness makes it hard to stay sitting up.
When starts falling, he feels an arm stop him. "I got you.." J-hope coos. "It's okay.."
"I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to wake you.."Namjoon apologizes.
J-hope tuts his tongue at him. "Stop being sorry. I'd much rather you wake me up than you suffer alone.. I love you Namjoon. I don't mind losing sleep to take care of you. If any of us were worried about you waking us up we would've just went to our hotel rooms. Let's get you back to bed, okay. Hyung could you help?"
Namjoon looks up to see who he's talking to, Jin leaning down to help him up. He leads him back to his bed that the three youngest members took over, Taehyung holding out his arms to Namjoon.
Namjoon wasn't usually the cuddly type, but with how awful he was feeling he felt needy for human contact, feeling comforted by the warmth of his old roommate's body and his steady heart beat as he lays on his chest.
"Don't get used to this Tae.." Namjoon says with a yawn.
"I won't.. I love you Namjoonie-hyung..I hope you get better soon..." Taehyung rubs Namjoon's stomach, whispering softly.
Namjoon falls asleep quickly after murmuring a soft, 'I love you..' Back to him, finally falling into the deep sleep he desperately needed.

Pov: your Mina's sister and have had feelings for your best friend Jirou.
You woke up to the sun shining brightly in your e/c eyes. Mina stands at the end of your bed holding a pillow up ready to attack you. In natural instinct you throw yourself out of the way as she faceplants your bed. The white sheets fly up into the air. You stand there glaring at her. Fed up of her antics you head to your bathroom to get ready.
*5 minutes pass*
You walk down stairs (in uniform) only to see your sister in her uniform. You grab the price of toast off the pottery plate on the counter. Headphones plugged in, your music begins to play. You walk calmly out the door and begin to eat the toast you grabbed. The breeze flew gently through the trees and birds sang loudly from nearby trees. You could see the school towering over the tree tops and ponder about what today will bring. You can hear someone shouting your name and as you turn around you see Mina and Jirou walking over to you, both smiling brightly at you. You wave to them and slow down so that they can catch up to you. Soon they're by your side and you're all walking towards the school.
*10 minutes go by*
You get to school and you're all early. You head to your locker to get your books excusing yourself from Mina and Jirou. You sit next to Jirou in class which always makes you panic. You had the biggest crush on her but you don't know how to express it. Fearing that if you do say how you feel, you might ruin the friendship you both have. You grab your books from your locker and put your headphones in your bag. You walk into class saying good morning to the teacher as you pass him. You try to be as respectful as possible because you don't want to cause unnecessary drama. You sit down at your desk and Jirou smiles warmly at you and passes you a note. Class starts as soon as everyone is at the desks and you look down at the note only then deciding to read it.
You open the note and it says
'Dear y/n,
Would you mind meeting me at the coffee shop down the road once it's lunch? Circle your answer.
Yes or No'
A small blush rises to your cheeks making you feel warm and happy. You circle yes and pass the note back to Jirou. You focus all your attention on the class and your work.
*Hours pass and soon it's lunch*
You head outside only for Jirou to meet you at the stairs. You both make small talk, laughing at eachothers jokes as you near the coffee shop. You both walk through the doorway and sit down at the nearest table. A waiter comes over to get your order. Jirou orders bubble tea and you order a _. The waiter walks away to prepare your drinks. You staring out of the window and a hand gently grazes over yours. You jump slightly in surprise to see Jirou smiling at you. She looks lost in her own thoughts. You turn to face her and smile in return knocking her out of her little trance. The sunlight shines over both of you, warming you both.
"You look amazing today y/n" Jirou mutters. A soft blush forms across your face as you respond to her "you look amazing to Jirou."
She chuckles at your compliment and you feel as if it's only you and her in the coffee shop. Those thoughts soon vanish when your drinks are placed on the table. You take a sip of your drink and Jirou begins to speak.
"y/n, I must tell you that ever since you joined this school you caught my eye". She says causing you to choke on your drink.
"Jirou, are you trying to confess something to me" you question.
"yes y/n, I have tried to make it obvious but I guess I'm not that good at it. Ever since I first saw you I felt something for you. I didn't think much of it at first but over time the feelings grew into something stronger and I could no longer ignore them." Jirou avoids your eye contact as her face goes a deep red.
You couldn't believe that something like this would ever happen. Only in your dreams did this happen. "Jirou I.. are you trying to say you like me. As in you like me more than a friend."
She looks at you and nods slightly. Still avoiding your gaze.
"Jirou I return these feelings. I was oblivious at first but eventually I developed feelings for you. I am glad you return these feelings." You grab her hands and place a light kiss ontop of them.
"y/n, can we be something more than friends. We could date if you're ok with that", she mutters. You nod your head and you place another small kiss on her hands. Her hands feel soft against yours and it makes you happy to be able to finally confess your feelings. They have been weighing down on you and making you feel heavy. But now that you have admitted them you feel lighter already. Jirou stands up and pulls you up with her. She pays the bill and you grab your drinks and walk outside. You're both not sure how to tell Mina that you're now dating but you will take it one step at a time. You and Jirou walk back hand in hand as the sun casts a soft glow over the sky. Birds chirp loudly and the breeze sways slowly through the trees that are in full bloom. The school gates stand tall and proud in the distance. Jirou moves closer to you and you walk back happily into the building.
I hope you liked it. It's my first one I have ever written so please tell me what I can do better next time

Why is HE at Angel's? and Where is She?
Warnings: mentions of torture, murder, death, injury, blood, gore, human trafficking, mentions of sexual and physical assault (briefly)
Ennoshita walked back into Angel's Bleeding Hearts, it had been 2 days, and he hadn't received a call letting him know that the floral arrangement was ready yet. To be honest, it kind of worried him, everyone who he had spoken to about the shop had said that she never was late with orders, especially not custom ones like his was, well, unless she was sick or extremely injured. So he decided that even though he didn't want to be one of THOSE people, he was going to go ask about it and make sure the young lady was alright. He couldn't place his finger on why he cared so much about her, he had just met her, but he felt protective of her already. Maybe he'd see if his boss would put her under the family's protection. Yes, Ennoshita was part of a mafia family, the Karasuno family to be exact. He was the finance guy, and one of the snipers and assassins that were there. Kinoshita, Narita, and him, were jokingly called the forgotten trio, which was good. It meant that no one noticed them, which made jobs easier. He knew if he were to try to convince his boss about giving the floral shop protection, it would be extremely difficult. The head of the family is extremely cautious about trusting businesses at all. He shook off the thought for now, and walked into the shop, setting his focus on making sure the young owner was okay.
Ennoshita walked up to the counter and gently rang the bell, signaling that someone was out front. He expected the H/c haired young lady to walk out and greet him. What he wasn't expecting though, was the mop of tangerine orange hair that rushed out to the front. "Hinata, what are YOU doing here? Where is Angel? How do you know her?" The older male questioned. The young male glared at him, "why do you care?" He snarled, "come to finish what those three couldn't?" Hinata pointed at the pictures of the three Karasuno members who had injured Y/n, pictures that, were placed under the banned person list for the employees to see. Ennoshita couldn't believe the cold tone Hinata was using with him, normally this kid was as hyper as can be, why was he so hostile now? What happened to make him this way? "Hinata, what happened to Angel? I came here a couple days ago to order an arrangement for my mother, she said she would have it done today. Is she okay?" He questioned quietly, worried now about the young women's wellbeing. Hinata walked to the door, looked around for anyone who could be spying on them, locked the door and motioned for Ennoshita to follow him to the back. Once there, he explained everything that had happened, including how she was with Nekoma currently in a coma. He quickly got the arrangement ready, and before Ennoshita could leave he said one more thing. "Don't tell anyone where I am, I left the house as soon as I heard what happened, and I'm not going back until everything is sorted out properly." Ennoshita nodded his said, letting Hinata know that he wouldn't tell anyone, and walked outside to go deliver the flowers to his mother.
At Nekoma
Lev sat by Y/n's side. He hadn't moved in the two days she's been there, not to eat not to sleep, nothing could drag him away from her. The others tried, trust me, they tried hard to get Lev to take care of himself, they even called his sister and mother in, nothing worked. It was different this time though, Yaku brought in his breakfast and a change of clean clothing, promising to keep an eye on her and keep her safe if Lev showered and ate. Kuroo and Kenma brought in his lunch and dinner and sat and visited with him. When he asked why they were being so kind, they told him that they had never seen him so worried for someone before, and that they would support and help him out when they could, but that he had to help himself too. They told him that the girl laying on the bed would be upset, no, mad as hell, if she found out he wasn't taking care of himself. He nodded and promised to take better care of himself, while still being there in case Y/n woke up. Her coloring was way better, she didn't look like she was about to die anymore, and her wounds were healing pretty well for how severe they were. That gave Lev some peace of mind, that his half-sister, no, his sister, was going to be okay. They still didn't know when she was going to wake up, but they weren't too worried about it yet. They talked about how to explain things when she woke up, including why she was there. They wrote a note and placed it on the table, in case she woke up when no one was in the room. They also decided that they would accompany her when she confronted Karasuno about the attempt on her life. Like it or not, she was family now, she was family to both the Nekoma and Fukurodani groups, seeing as how the leaders of the groups, Kuroo and Bokuto, were childhood best friends, the two groups got along great. Lev also ended up explaining how Y/n knew Shoyo and his sister. He was just finishing up with that story, when Shoyo called to check in on Y/n's condition, and to let him know about Ennoshita and what he knows about the situation, further confirming that the three who had tried to kill Y/n, were not cleared to do so by the leader of the family, that they had acted independently, which could get them killed by the group. After Kuroo told Hinata that he and his sister were always welcome at Nekoma, Lev hung up and called the Shadow Hounds group line to give them and update as well. After an extremely short conversation with them, he hung up and gently held Y/n's hand. The other two left, and Lev laid his head down on the bed, his hand holding Y/n's, and watched her until he fell asleep. He woke up about 8 hours later, he only woke up because he felt the hand he was holding shift, then squeeze his gently. His head shot up, and he smiled wide as he saw the E/c eyes gazing back at him, slightly confused as to where they were. "Y/n! You're awake! Oh thank god!! You're safe you're at the Nekoma house, some people tried to kill you, but you survived and you're going to be okay." He said, tears in his eyes. The girl nodded her head and whispered that she was glad he was there when she woke up, and that she was going to go back to bed since she was still tired. She then closed her eyes and, with a soft smile, she fell asleep again.

Welcome to S.U.I.T.S: Initiation By Fire
TERRAN 5 - TRACK AND FIELD
"Kobayashi, pass me the ball!" I confidently dribbled a few steps ahead before smoothly passing it to my teammate on the right. During lunch, I decided to join a spontaneous basketball game with some of my classmates.
It has been a few days since that incident, and things seem to have returned to normal. My conversations with my close friends mostly revolve around school life, current events, and the gossip surrounding unusual relationships within our school. I consciously make an effort not to dwell on it.
"Have you heard?" Hina and Saki Mori joined us at the lunch table in the schoolyard. I stopped eating my lunch and looked at each of them.
"What have you heard?" I asked. It is a Monday, January 7th, 2079.
"It's been the trending topic for the past couple of weeks," Hina said. "Are you unaware?"
I glanced at Sho, who shrugged his shoulders.
Hina sighed in disbelief and asked, "Did you all forget about Kumiko's track and field tournament with the other schools, especially our rival school?"
"I'm on the track and field team, Hina,”
I replied. "I already know what's happening."
"Why are you so uninterested?" Hina questioned. Sho almost spat out his food. "Kumiko is the ace of our track and field team. She's going up against your close friend from our rival school."
I simply nodded my head. "The topic doesn't appeal to me." I tapped Sho on the shoulder. "Did you hear that, Sho? The school seems more interested in gossiping about this than your match against one of the best athletes in national male track and field."
Sho laughed. "Right? It feels like a dagger through my heart. The girls' match is more exciting than mine."
"You're not even in the top 5 for your match to be considered a trending topic," Hina exclaimed.
I coughed as I nearly choked on my food.
"Hey!" Sho yelled. "I'm in the top 10, which is still an accomplishment." He felt
proud about it.
Saki changed the subject by saying, "Doesn't this affect you at all?"
Sho chuckled. "You've been friends with Kobayashi for a long time but forgot that he's really close buddies with Asuka and Kumiko since they were young."
I quickly finished eating my food before speaking up again. "Asuka informed me about it when the competition schedule was released." I showed Hina and Saki the schedule she sent me through the LINE chat. "I know Kumiko and Asuka's schedules."
Hina pouted and said, "You're such a killjoy."
I cleared my throat. "Just because I'm not displaying excitement doesn't mean I'm not interested. The tension between them regarding anything related to track and field is obvious. Kumiko hasn't won a single or double match against Asuka since their first year of middle school. They both enjoy this frenemy competition, plus they're ranked 1 and 2 respectively in the youth national tennis league."
"That's not the only tension between them," Hina teased. I looked at her confused.
"Let's go, Saki. These boys are so boring when it comes to school current events," she said as they walked away. Then, I turned to Sho.
"Don't look at me," Sho exclaimed. "I don't know all the details."
Afterward, our team divided into two groups: one went to the tracks for practice while I accompanied the others to the school gym to focus on strengthening our core. As Nanako and I entered the gym, we noticed Kumiko diligently lifting a barbell onto her shoulders with precision and determination, working on her leg strength.
Nanako and I joined Kumiko in her reps. "Did you skip stretching?" Nanako asked.
"I did it alone," Kumiko replied. "I couldn't wait for you guys. I have to get in top shape for the 400m female solo race and 4x400 mixed relay race."
I crossed my arms. "The burning passion to surpass Asuka in both the solo and mixed race is impressive."
"Of course, she's my rival in sports competition," Kumiko declared. "And also in my love life." What she said piqued my interest, but I didn't press further on what she meant.
Nanako changed subject. “Can you believe that the school festival is week after the tournament?” Nanako complained. “And then at the end of next months is finals. Everything is so close together, I don’t know what emotion to use.”
After the track and field practice, I left school with Kumiko as the sun was setting. As we arrived in our neighborhood, the streetlights blinked on and the sun disappeared. We passed by the closed neighborhood cafe and turned right at the crossroad, carrying our sports bags and school bags as we climbed up the hill.
"I'm exhausted," I huffed. "Isn't this supposed to be easy?"
"You're just out of shape," teased Kumiko.
"You guys are relentless," I said.
"We're just speaking the truth," Kumiko continued teasing. We stopped at my house's front gate. "Alright then, I'm home. See you at school tomorrow." She crossed over to her house from across the narrow road.
I entered my house through the front door, which was appropriately dark. Kumiko and I decided to grab a quick dinner near our neighborhood train station instead of having my mother cook or wait for me due to an upcoming track and field competition.
I removed my shoes quietly and walked down the hallway towards the stairs. As I ascended, I heard muffled noises coming from my room when I reached the top of stairs. Not only that, but there was also light peeking out from under my door. With curiosity piqued, I pushed open the door wide open.
To my surprise, Asuka was sitting in middle of room on a kotatsu table while she snacked and watched TV still wearing her sports gear. A cool breeze wafted in through my window.
Sighing, I closed it before walking past her. "Aren't you cold?" I asked.
"Nope! Just waiting for you," Asuka replied without taking her eyes off the show she was watching. "Don't close that door yet; let me finish this episode."
"You were waiting for me?" Leaning against window frame,I questioned her. Asuka's family resides beside us in a unique living arrangement. Among all the houses on our street, mine is the only one with a balcony, and Asuka's house also boasts a balcony on the opposite side of the street. Our balconies are actually so close that either of us can easily climb over and visit without needing permission. Since we were children, Asuka has taken advantage of this proximity by often crossing over without any prior notice. Personally, it doesn't bother me, but I know someone who would be bothered by it - fortunately, he is not present at the moment.
I joined Asuka at the kotatsu table as we watched the last few minutes of a show together. When it ended, she stretched and leaned back while I continued snacking on some treats that I had bought earlier - snacks which she had discovered in my computer drawer. While scrolling through my phone and munching away, silence enveloped us. However, unlike those uncomfortable silences that can fill a room with unease, this silence felt completely natural between us. We have known each other for so long that simply being in each other's presence is enough to fill any voids without any discomfort or awkwardness.
Finally breaking the silence, she spoke up: "Alright, let's go for a run."
"Isn't it late outside?" I asked.
"It's the weekend tomorrow; don't be lazy," she replied confidently. "We have a tournament coming up next week." Asuka slid out from beneath the blanket-covered kotatsu and sat up. It didn't faze me that she was wearing only a strapless sports bra and sports thong as she made her way towards my closet.
"The neighbors might complain again about your attire," I cautioned.
"Let them complain; it doesn't bother me," Asuka answered nonchalantly as she crossed over to grab her favorite sports jacket hanging on my chair. She casually slung the jacket over her shoulder and zipped it halfway. "Meet me at the crossroad," she called out, stepping onto my balcony and climbing over. "Or I'll come back and drag you out." With that warning, Asuka disappeared into her room.
I sat there for a few moments, contemplating, before I gracefully emerged from beneath the warmth of my kotatsu blanket table and stood up. As always, she had taken my beloved sports jacket. Determined to retrieve it, I grabbed my water bottle that was conveniently placed near my sports bag and reached into my bag to fetch the jacket. After swiftly zipping it up, I left my room and descended the stairs. Passing through the hallway, I proceeded to put on my shoes. Carefully opening and closing the door of my house, I briskly jogged down the hill towards the crossroad mentioned by Asuka. There she stood under a streetlight, gracefully stretching while patiently waiting for me. Without hesitation, I joined her in a ten-minute stretching routine.
“I'm surprised you came,” teased Asuka.
"I can't be outpaced by Wind Beauty during the tournament," I replied.
"Did you coin that name for me?" she asked.
"That name has been around forever," I answered while checking the time. "It's 11:00 PM—I'll follow your lead."
She turned around to face the road leading to her neighborhood. Glancing back at me with a grin, Asuka said, "Try to keep up.”
We live on a large hill that offers a panoramic view of the city, and it usually takes about an hour to reach the summit. Not only is this our preferred route for exercising our legs, but it's also our favorite spot due to its breathtaking morning scenery. However, it becomes even more magical at night when we are treated to a captivating cityscape.
I kept up with her until we reached the end of the trail at the top of the hill. As soon as we arrived, we felt the refreshing coolness of spring in the air. It was pleasant, but even better when combined with the city view. She let out a sigh of relief and took a couple seconds to stretch while absorbing the magnificent sights.
"This never gets old," Asuka sighed contentedly. I finished my water bottle and handed it over to her. She emptied it out and threw it back towards me before leaning against the railing and enjoying the view. I observed her closely and she playfully teased, "Doesn't this Wind Beauty leave you speechless?”
"Perhaps," I responded confidently.
Asuka stretched once again as she basked on the view. “I can’t wait for graduation so our chaotic life can wind down.” She suggested. “Want to go to Hokkaido with me again after we graduate? I need a break.”
I confidently answered her. “Sure, why not.”
Asuka giggled and turned towards me, taking small steps closer as she placed her hand on my sweaty chest. Our eyes met as sweat dripped down her face. Drawing nearer, she stood on tiptoes and brought her face close to mine. I could feel her warm breath against my cheeks as she exhaled softly.
Just as Asuka leaned in closer to brush her lips against mine, our moment was unexpectedly interrupted by someone. Startled by this sudden intrusion, she stumbled backwards, but I quickly caught hold of her to prevent her from tumbling down the hillside. I pulled her back into my arms and held her firmly. We glanced over at the figure sitting on the swing nearby and hastily separated from our embrace.
"Master Shiro," Asuka stuttered with embarrassment. "I completely forgot you were here."
He hopped off the swing and joined us near the view. He looked familiar, but I couldn't recall where we had met before. However, he didn't bother asking and changed the topic.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Issei Kobayashi," Shiro said while looking at me. "Yes, we crossed paths once at the café with your friends. Has Asuka mentioned anything yet?"
"No, she hasn't," I replied.
"Of course she hasn't," Shiro said dismissively.
"I was just about to tell him, Master Shiro," Asuka stuttered.
"No need," he responded while looking at her. "Since I'm already here." Shiro then turned his gaze towards me. "Under my guidance, you'll be training with me to defend yourself against your adversaries. You have no say in this matter; I will be waiting for you at the café that you often visit just once." With that statement, Shiro suddenly vanished into thin air, leaving me and Asuka alone again
