Ship and let ship

Ship and let ship, that's what I always say. Let people enjoy what they like, ship what they want and just enjoy it for the fun of it, as long as you're not hurting anyone, it shouldn't be anyone else's business but your own.

I don't understand why some people feel the need to harass others over what they like.

I never understood the need for ship wars and arguments over stuff like that, saying this is better or that's better and blah blah blah.

As a multishipper, I have several different ships in several different fandoms, I don't ship just one particular thing and I don't believe "my ship" is better than anyone else's.

Now, I know there are things people like that I personally don't agree with, do I go and tell them that they shouldn't enjoy it? Absolutely not.

Unless you support abusive, toxic, underaged or incestuous ships, I see no problem, but if you do, I still wouldn't voice my opinion, I would just politely say I feel uncomfortable with this particular ship and try to avoid causing any arguments about it.

And me, for example, I probably have a ship or two that people don't agree with, if you don't like it, just kindly ignore me and don't argue with me over what I like.

Same thing with my favorite genres, I like mpreg and omegaverse, a lot of people turn that into a fetish thing, which makes me extremely uncomfortable because that's not why I like it.

That's not what it is for me, I like it because it's cute, I like the idea of taking my favorite pairings and giving them a family, nothing sexual or anything about it.

That's how people feel about ships, certain ships can be seen as a fetish or something, for some that might be the case, but for others, they just enjoy it for the cuteness factor.

So, don't judge others for what they like, allow them to explain their point of view before you start voicing your opinion.

Or, better yet, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

what I know about Stranger Things (bc I’m too scared to watch actual episodes) 😅

So in the 80s, there’s a town called Hawkins. Who knows which state it’s in (Indiana? Something middle-ish.) but it’s next to a suspicious lab. A girl w/a shaved head gets adopted by the sheriff & she goes by 11. She’s like Carrie but nice. Meanwhile, Will falls into Hell AKA a dimension called the Upside Down. Somehow he escapes & he forms a good Scooby-Doo Gang w/11, some mom friend guy, Winona Ryder (his mom), the sheriff, a bad haircut dude named Jonathan, a cool lesbian (played by Maya Hawke), “Mike”, a smart Black kid, a curly hair kid, a redhead…yeah so they fight these scary monsters controlled by a Mindflayer psychic demon from TUD. BUT THEN you find out that the REAL villain is Jamie Campbell Bower, a psychic who was sent to the Hell place by 11 years ago bc he turned out to be a murderous sociopath. & somehow being there made his skin look like spaghetti. In between, a popular girl (named Chrissy, who DOES NOT WAKE UP) falls in love w/a rocker nerd & they both die tragically, despite being Tumblr's favorite couple.

Okay okay, hear me out. I know a lot of you guys won't agree with me but I just have to share my opinion and after all it is my opinion.

In the first movie Neytiri doesn't want to mate with Tsu'tey and I believe if Jake never came, she would mate with a woman. But since Jake came and she HAD to teach him, she fell in love with him but otherwise she WOULDN'T!! Do you see my point? If he didn't came or she didn't have to teach him, she would mate with a girl.

I could think of no better way to share the news than this!

So when I was 17, my cat went missing and I'd given up hope of ever seeing him again.

Until on Monday, 27th of May, 2024, my friend sent me a FB post asking 'isn't that your mother?' about the person named on the microchip.

Here he is! 16 years old, and found safe, twelve whole years after he went missing!

Yesterday (Tuesday the 28th of May, 2024) I went to the rescue that had him, and I reclaimed my boy, renaming him Artie! (He'd originally been called 'Cat' because my mother and I couldn't decide on a name)

He's home safe with me now, currently inhabiting my bathroom and purring up a storm every time someone goes in there!

I'll be doing slow introductions between him and my current cat to give them the best possible chance of living in harmony!
