"What're you doing?" he asks, eyeing the tea you place on the table, then darting up to meet your confused expression.

"Is there something wrong?" Ei asks, her eyes still closed. She peeks an eye open to look at Kunikuzushi's slightly annoyed expression and furrowed brows, then closes her eye again.

"Not at all, sister," but his tone is flat and he had not taken another sip of the tea served with his breakfast today.

There's a few seconds of silence followed by a hum from the Raiden Shogun. "...Then what is the ominous presence coming from your person, little one?"

There's a soft grunt, followed by shifting, a small sigh and a sort of huff. Ei is surprised every day by how much expression Kunikuzushi shows. She had always thought he was fragile, but perhaps he was slowly building his own personality. She finally opens her eyes when she hears a sort of mumble directed at her, she asks for it to be repeated again, as she hadn't heard it clearly.

"...This isn't how Y/N makes my tea," He looked to be a spoiled prince at that moment and it takes a lot for Ei not to break out into a chuckle at his statement.

"There's no way for them to always be around you, Kuni. Y/N deserves to rest from time to time," she states, starting on her own breakfast. There he goes again with that tiny huff, but he doesn't complain more, and opts to keep his mouth shut.

The training session started rather early today. Though you sat on the sidelines watching Ei and Kunikuzushi battle it out, you had gotten used to the clash of electro against electro by this point.

At the beginning it was rather frightening, the sheer amount of power the two of them combined had. You were once scared to be struck by lightning on accident, now it was almost comforting to be around.

"You seem to have more reserves of energy on certain days," Ei exclaims as she sheathes her sword to mark the end of training. You might have imagined it, but you thought her eyes flick over to you for the fastest second.

"I'm not sure what you're talking about, sister. It's just like any other day," Kunikuzushi slightly pants, catching his breath. You take that as a signal to stand and bow, then entering the training ring with a cloth in hand.

You scurry over next to him, and offer the cloth for him to take. He takes it with a slight smile, "Thank you, Y/N," and you nod in response.

"I have your change of clothes ready at the hot springs," you say and he always feel a sense of relief that you've got things under control and ready for him, specially after a long training session.

He thanks you again, and excuses himself. "I'll see you outside then, I won't be long," he promises, despite the fact that you've always told him he can take his time to freshen up.

He disappears first, and you bow towards the Raiden before turning to follow him.

"Y/N," the Raiden calls out to you just as Kunikuzushi leaves the room. You stop in your tracks and turn back around. You almost know what she's about to say.

"...Don't forget, what you were tasked to do, when the time arises," The Raiden whispers. There's a sort of melancholy in the way she says it but a definite determination in the way you answer.

"Of course, your grace,"

4. Feels a sense of insecurity when someone else shows interest towards you.

Despite your title being a "maid" you didn't wear the same purple uniform that all the servants were made to wear. You were still in uniform, but it was a rather official looking garb than what most had.

"It'll be a long meeting today," Kunikuzushi warns you. That was part of your duty now, tagging along wherever he went, and it was just something that he specifically asked you to do.

Diplomatic meetings were held from time to time, this time with a clan head. He was younger than you thought, with a good head on his shoulders. It was something about the import and export goods in the port of Ritou, something that you weren't concerned with, and something that you usually tuned out while waiting for the meeting to end.

Kunikuzushi doesn't quite know why he subjects you to such boring tasks. You could've stayed back at the Pavilion, but what exactly would you do there. It was just a different type of boring.

Contrary to what he thought, you hadn't found it boring at all. In a sense it was your job to watch after him and his needs, and so this was all part of your required tasks.

When the meeting was adjourned everyone stood to bow at each other, it wasn't at the last moment that the clan head acknowledged your presence.

"Y/N, are you aware that I house the gnosis in my body?" he asked you one day.

9. "This can't be happening,"

"It's you" Ei stood up and walked up to you, an arm's length away. "I had thought you were lost like Makoto and the others."

"I'm sorry, I was wandering the lands of Teyvat for a long, long time" You bowed your head apologetically. "Guuji Yae had already chastised me for my lack of courtesy when I left" It was always a little surprising how you could go from rowdy to an eloquently worded individual.

You half expected Ei to be angry with you, instead, she placed a hand on your shoulder "We have much to catch up on then, don't we?"

"We have all of eternity to catch up" You reassured her, and then you fell to your knees, "I am loyal to the Shogun, the people of Inazuma, and my superior, Guuji Yae. Allow me to provide my services to you again"

Miko was surprised but amused at your demonstration of loyalty, and Ei was more glad to see you hadn't changed much either

Over the next few months, you remained steadfast in your promise to Ei and remained a member of the Adventurers Guild. But of course, you prioritized your service with Ei. During that time, you developed an especially close relationship with Miko and Ei.

Miko always had a knack for teasing, but Ei on the other hand was a bit different from when you last talked with her, as she also started to take much joy from teasing you too. "Need me to hold any of that?" You gestured at the stack of papers and books in her arms. She nodded and let you take half the stack. "What've you been up to today?"

She sighed, "Just meeting with the publishing team and hounding my writers about deadlines"

You reached the top and Miko opened the door to a room in the shrine and made your way to her office. She pushed her door open with her elbow and stepped to the desk.

You shut the door and approached, putting down the stack of papers, then sitting across from her. "So what brings you here, you need something from me?"

"No, I'm just bored" You sighed and laid your head down on her desk.

She picked up a book from the stack and then set it aside. "No adventure to be had today?" Miko placed an elbow on the desk and rested her head in her hand looking at you.

"No, today is a day off. Plus last week's mission was exhausting. So many puzzles, and climbing, and fighting." Your voice was exasperated and tired. "I thought at least one of you wouldn't be busy today"

You heard Miko let out a light chuckle before she reached out her hand to pet you "Ever the impatient one." Her nails lightly combed through your hair and let yourself melt into the desk.

"Mm, are you done for the day?" You asked and she pulled her hand away, you lifted your head to look at her. "We could play that card game Karuta"

She sighed and leaned back in her chair then started rummaging through some draft stories "No, unfortunately, I'll be busy for the next two or three hours, Ei will be arriving sometime after that too"

You slumped in your seat and groaned, "Got anything for me to do then?"

She placed a light novel in front of you, "These have already been proofread for grammar errors, I just need to see how appealing the story would be to the general public so we know how many copies to print at the Publishing House"

"Okay, I don't mind that. Thanks" You took the unfurnished book and flipped to the first page.

"Good" Miko picked up the novel she was revising and took her pen out again.

You had gotten about halfway through the short book before it got inappropriate. You hadn't read such literature before, and this was a bit much. Miko heard your breath hitch in your throat, and she glanced up at you. You shifted uncomfortably in your chair, ears twitching. A familiar warmth in your stomach started to grow, and your cheeks felt like a flame. "Is everything okay?" Miko's voice pulled you out of the book world.

"Am I now?" A corner of her lips lifted slightly.

Plus there wasn't much else I could have you could do" Miko said with a shrug, every sentence was laced with some sort of other meaning. She's said something similar when putting down you and Gorou.

You refused to answer, afraid that what you would say would give her more ammunition. Though you'd rarely admit it, she was right. You enjoyed having Miko or Ei tell you what to do, and how to do it. It was true that without someone to take command, you were directionless. You drew more power when someone was there to guide and hone it.

"It went fine, although I am still deciding on an appropriate punishment for the Kujou Clan. On other matters, what is going on here?" Ei asked, and you sunk your head further down towards your lap.

You rolled your eyes and sighed, "Okay, okay, fine." Then you took your place walking on the other side of Ei. Along the trail, the three of you enjoyed the silence, taking your time on the walk. The wind picked up a bit, and the cold air felt nice brushing against your skin after the light fight. You lifted your head up closing your eyes, breathing it all in, trusting your other senses to keep you from tripping over something. You felt Ei's soft hand against your upper back, moving up to scratch the back of your head.

~Summary: Part 2 of "Otherworldly Things". But I'm doing Nahida and Ei this time.

A week has passed since Venti and Zhongli had tried to convince you to come to Teyvat, but, you had work and school to catch up on and even if you did go there and get everything you wanted, it felt undeserving.

Another phenomenal accident happened where a bright glowing computer popped out a small child and a grown woman, both being obviously the other released archons, lying on the floor dizzy from the transport process.

"So, more overgrown children under my belt" you sighed in frustration. Venti and Zhongli peeked from the doorway wondering how your mental health might deteriorate more now with Nahida and Ei swimming like clueless fish.

"Peepaw. Cockroach. Help me move these guys to the living room" you turned to the two men behind the corner of the door. Both then started to carry the two lying figures out of the room, Zhongli cradling Nahida in his arms while Venti dragged Ei from her arms out the door "Why do you get to carry Buer, your the brute out of the two of us!" "As the responsible one, it is my responsibility that the children are safe" both exchange words as Venti drags Ei in defeat.

Raiden Ei

When she woke up with you watching The Lorax while waiting for them to gain consciousness, she was about to slam her forehead to the floor in a bowing position before you stopped her.

Nahida was blank for a moment until Venti mentioned he wanted apple pie.

Nahida scolded him that he shouldn't to you so casually

She was stuttering in between her words with the pressure that she was speaking to the Omniscient Overseer and couldn't find the words.

"It's alright" you knelt down trying to ease her burden "You don't have to be so formal. Right now, I'm [name], not The Omniscient Overseer, alright" You gently held her with the aura of comfort through your words.

"Well. I'll take whatever you like" She smiles at you.

That was the first time someone saw her as a child, not literally, but as someone who has not experienced the world with her own senses.

Hi there! How do you think a team composition of Raiden, Diluc/Yelan (depending on the day), Kaeya and Kazuha would work? Especially in SAGAU terms.

I headcannon that Ei once referred to Kaeya as "son of Khaenri'ah" and Diluc has been defensive ever since.

Forgive me if I get Yelan's characterization wrong - she's one of the few characters I don't have, the most I've seen of her was the story quest, the Chasm event with Itto and Yanfei, and that she apparently stole a coat Pantalone wanted to give to the Tsaritsa, which honestly would immediately put her in Diluc's good books.

That being said - for Diluc and Yelan, I think the switching would work out really well. I mean, they're both busy businesspeople with probably tightly packed schedules, so I reckon your usual antics might even start a close partnership between the two, even if only on a personal level, i.e. each updating the other on what was done during their turn as that day's chosen vessel, or asking the other to potentially cover for them on a day where they just really really couldn't make it. They'd be grateful for the on and off schedule, it gives them time.

Yelan and Kaeya look like they'd be the kind of fast friends that are friendly only on the surface, because they are both distrustful of each other since they're equally sneaky, but I see them growing accustomed to each other as you take them out together. Hydro and Cryo work well naturally, and I can see them having an easier time working in synergy the more they begin to understand one another. It's not openness - neither of them is going to share their innermost workings with someone like that - but it is a form of comraderie that they both end up being thankful for. I'd wager Yelan reminds Kaeya of Rosaria somewhat, and that on downtimes, the two have gone out for drinks and perhaps some gambling.

As for himself and Diluc, Kaeya finds himself even more thankful for the opportunity. The chance for their bond to truly heal from what happened on the day of Crepus's death had not yet surfaced. He knew Diluc still cared - but in a different, silent, far more distant way than before. Kaeya did miss having his brother have his back, and doing the same for him. The first months were difficult - packed with "This meams nothing" and "I am following the Overseer's will, that is all", with Diluc ditching the place as soon as you tabbed out. Kaeya's teasing feels sharp, Diluc is almost cold, and the two can bicker back and forth so often that one would forget they are not the only ones on the team. The teasing never truly goes away. Diluc never truly lowers his guard. But the moment anyone or anything gets in the way of one, the other will lend a hand almost on instinct.

Diluc justifies it as doing it for you. You placed them together, and you rely on both of them, and it is very clear that you like them both enough to place them on your main team. You surely don't want any of them hurt, right? They both use the same argument to justify not sparring - a suggestion brought up by the Shogun, who was genuinely trying to help. Of course it's not because deep down both of them want the best for one another - it is simply because you want the best for both of them. Of course.

But if that were the reason, why would Diluc place himself between his brother and the Archon every time since he heard that one casual remark? He didn't know what bothered him so much about it - it was accurate, wasn't it? Son of Khaenri'ah. There was a time, once, when Diluc would've called it preposterous - Kaeya was a son of Crepus, just like he was. Regardless of his birth parents, he'd been raised a Ragnvindr.

But... was that really true? Had it ever been?

Being placed on the same team as Kaeya, Diluc finds himself grappling with thoughts he had back when everything came to light. For the vast majority of his life, Kaeya had been, indeed, just as much a child of Khaenri'ah as Diluc was a child of Mondstadt. But a man's future is not defined by his past - instead, his present. Kaeya is as much of a sneaky bastard as Diluc is used to him being... but the more the two work together, the more he realises that Kaeya has become more of a Mondstadter than he himself is aware of. He may have been a child of Khaenri'ah once, but the man he's grown into is as much of his brother as he thought him to be as children.

He does not, however, say this out loud. Ever.

The Shogun has since stopped reffering to him as that - it very clearly makes both of them incredibly uncomfortable, and though it is nice to get a break from the bickering, she was not actually looking to offend anybody. So far she's taken to reffering to Kaeya by title instead, adressing him as Captain. She doesn't strike me as the type to jump directly to being on a first name basis with people, and would want to maintain that distance.

Her and Diluc interact very little - she much prefers the Yelan days now, if only due to the fact that she knows there's still some lingering tension from that little incident. I could see the two getting along somewhat well before, but the relationship definitely soured in that awkward quiet way that never leads to an actual confrontation. But then again, I can see this being a very, VERY tense team. Like seriously the only person here that has no beef at all is Yelan.

Because while the brothers' antics take the main stage - their bickering is dramatic and explosive and their jabs at each other end up taking the attention from othet issues, which is quite thr relief - there is also the strained feelings between Kazuha and the Shogun.

Oh yes.

The Shogun had her redemption arc, and joined you as a Vessel, and so far she has been nothing but helpful and reliable on the field of combat.

But Kazuha's friend is not any less dead.

Kazuha himself says that he's thought about it, and that he holds no resentment towards the Shogun. His friend died in an honorable duel, and that's that. But not resenting someone doesn't automatically mean a close or good relationship, nor does it mean that what was done has been forgotten. Kazuha supposes he'll trust your judgement, and that the Shogun is there to help - but there's still that lingering fear, that cold sweat when he wakes up and that shiver running down his back, because the aftermath of a war is never easy, and though she's on their side now, what if one day she isn't. Were it not for the brothers' antics - and possibly Kaeya, let us be honest here, he's the one who talks - the team would be... very, very silent.

From either angle, your team is PACKED with tension, but hopefully they'll be able to slowly grow to rely on each other, and maybe mend what was broken along the way.

With a bit of luck they go out for drinks and dango. I think they deserve it.

The atmosphere was as tense as a violin chord, thick and heavy as a blanket.

Yae eyes darted from Ei figure, calmly sipping tea from her cup, enjoying from time to time some small bite of the mochis on her plate, to you, clearly upset by something by the glares that you threw to the Shogun, who was obviously ignoring your attiotude.

Usually the afternoon at the Shogun residence, where the three of you shared some good chatting, news, and gossip from the towns, was a moment of pure relaxation and nothingless. It was the moment when the Raiden Shogun, the Head Maiden of the Narukami Shrine, and the Creator weren't such mighty and important figures, but just three friends who loved to spend some quality time together.

At least that was the case for the other days, since now there are some problems between you and the Shogun.

"Oh my, I wonder. You both are so chattering today. I'm guessing that whatever happened between you two must have been quite an event."

Before speaking, Ei's eyes sparked toward her friend. Did she really need to bring that up?!

"Me and Y/N had a discussion a few hours ago."

"We argued-"

You corrected, noticing Ei eyes rising toward you in the same glare.

"About some matters that aren't supposed to be on their minds right now."

"Um, um, and...what are those matters, to be precise?"

"I asked her to teach me how to fight."

The ceramic Ei cup clattered with the small plate in her hand. Why do you have to be so stubborn? She loved that thing about you, but, seriously, on those occasions, it was impossible! Yae hears, on the other hand, pointed up, showing her her full interest in the matter. Her eyes were full of a small glimmer.

"Oh really? And...why so?"

"Why not?!"

"Because you don't need to! I can protect you just like this!"

Finally, Ei decided to get out of her small, composed shell. She raised her voice, shocking you for a momet, and Yae, not so used from the Shogun to shout.

"I don't want to be protected! I want to be able to do it myself!"

"This world is merciless; one wrong step and-"

"I've been hurt and hunted by the nations, Ei; I'm far more aware of how this world works! I want to protect our people too!"

The two of you keep on having that argument in front of the fox lady.

She found the entire ordeal quite cute. She knew that, at some point , this was supposed to happen. You wanted so much to prove yourself, while Ei tried with all the strength of her being to reject the thought of losing her Creator. It was meant to happen that the two of you would crash at some point; it was later than she believed, but better than never, no?

Posing her cup, she started to adjust the front of her kimono.

"Umm...well, it seems like she won't help you, dear Y/N. Forget asking her to help you master the art of polearming."

Finally, thought there was some sense in that discussion! It was strange to hear Yae finally siding  with-

"So, instead, why don't try to master another weapon? Sarah would love to get the chance to teach you the bow—or the Kamisato sibling? I can sense it; the art of the sword would elevate your status."

Your face glowed (literally) for happiness, while Ei looked at the scene with confusion and so much disdain.

"Do you mean it?!"

You launched towards her, hugging her closely. She giggled a little, caressing your head in delight.

The last few days have been peaceful and quiet. You did your best filling out documents since Seraphina refuses to cut you off some slack; Revelyn enjoys simply being in your company. She's a rather timid person, you have to say. "Now then dear, what would you say going to Inazuma?" You asked Revelyn and smiled at her.

"I'm okay with going anywhere, as long as you are with me." Revelyn replied rather quickly, almost like her attention was on you the whole time. The last part was muttered quietly, but it didn't go unheard by you.

You chuckled, "Fret not, I wouldn't dare leave you. But do you not think you should go back to the mortal realm? I'm quite sure it is rather boring here." You have been insisting for some time that Revelyn returns to the mortal realm, it is unusual for the creator to favour someone more, not to add so blatantly!

Of course, whenever you brought up this topic Revelyn always looked so alarmed. You aren't going to abandon here after all this time, are you? "Um.. Everyone probably hates me.. I feel rather unsafe there. Please let me stay with you.." She said, she has used this excuse for the seventh time.

You sighed for the umpteenth time. Really, you can't keep fancying one of your devotee over the others. That would be sure to put a blemish on your dear acolyte's faith. You wouldn't wish that, ever.

"Do not put so less faith in my acolytes; I am sure they would welcome you with open arms." Right, you gotta keep insisting and assuring her, at the same time. Of course, you don't want her to feel unwanted in any sense, but still. You can't keep babysitting a mortal. That's what the Archons are for.

Tears welled up in Revelyn's eyes. She was sure this would stir some emotions and guilt out of you. Right? It always worked. It has to work now also. You wouldn't dare to leave one of your favourite devotee, would you?

But no worries, because, you my pal, are the master at setting boundaries when needed.

"Call me cold, if you must Revelyn. However, I cannot keep you here any longer. You are a mortal; I am The Creator. You ought to live in the mortal realm." You said, hardly amused by her antics. You have dealt with numerous different mortals. Revelyn was no exception.

"B-But, Your Grace. Please. I beg of you. They will harm me." Her voice started wavering and you were sure in no time she would be a sobbing mess. This was how it always ended whenever you brought up the topic of her leaving. Her crying and you consoling her. It was rather stressful.

"They will not. I assure you." And with those words came a full-on sobbing session. Of course, you wouldn't let that deter you. This is harsh of you, but you have to be harsh sometimes.

"Can-Can we at least go to Inazuma together? Please..?" She whispered in a delicate voice. Just a few more moments with you is what she asks for.

"Hm. Yes. I will leave you be in Inazuma too. Alright." You left before she could reply. Man, you were thankful that Revelyn is finally off to the mortal realm. No offense to her, but it does get annoying dealing with her. Because whenever you are with her, you can't help but feel that she has a sinister aura. Not in the sense of her attempting to assassinate you or something; just something far more you can comprehend.

Of course, a few people threw some nasty looks at Revelyn, but other than that things were dandy. You were sure the news of your arrival would reach the other Archons fast. Ah, you couldn't help but adore your little creations. Weren't they just so adorable? Begging for your attention like some kind of puppies. You favoured the Archons above all; that was clear as day. The thought made Revelyn scowl with jealousy.

Revelyn is sure that you think of her as nothing but a mere mortal. You pity her weak form, don't you? Oh, if you really do pity her, please let her stay with you a bit longer. She will go to hell and beyond to spend another moment with you; the divine creator. She heard people sing praises of you. Not only in Teyvat, but far away from Teyvat. From worlds unknown to the people. She is an outlander and you are the divine one. People in her world talked about how ethereal the creator of Teyvat is; a prodigy. She wants to worship you. She wants to worship each part of your body. Will you let her? Please do so, she is but a weak frail mortal. Right?

Her thoughts shattered the moment she saw purple hair. Ah, the wicked witch is here, isn't she? To steal you away from her.

Creator's POV

Having Yae Miko stare down at me, made me feel small. In the game she always carried this aura of intimidation, but seeing her face to face caused that feeling grow. She stared, her trademark smile plastered on her face. She walked over to me and offered her hand. I just stared before taking it. She helped me up than bowed.

"It is an honor to see you, your grace," I stuttered something inaudible in response.

She giggled and asked me to follow her. Having no other choice I do and I'm led to a door. Yae Miko opens the door and inside I see a futon, blanket, geta, and folded clothes. I'm led inside by two shrine maidens and once the three of us are inside the door is closed, and I think I heard a locking sound.

This set my senses on high alret. Trying to open the door failed. The two shrine maidens just stared at me.

"Your grace? Are you ok?" One asked.

I tell them I want to leave, and get told that once I'm cleaned up the door will be unlocked. This pissed me off, but knew I couldn't do shit. The two shrine maidens dress my in the folded clothes, which turned ot to be a kimono. The kimono is pure white, red obi, and a tatsu pattern. It looked very nice. After putting on the tabi sock and geta shoes, the two shirne maidens start to style my hair. When those two were done, I'm lead out the, now unlocked, door. I'm lead outside the shrine and get greeted with members of Raiden's army and Sara Kujou? I look closer at the woman and yeah, it's Sara. She walks up to me and bows deeply.

"Umm... You don't need to do that Sara," I say.

"It would be disrespectful if I did not bow to you," She said.

I give up on trying to convince Sara and follow her to Tenshukaku. It always looked impressive in game, but standing in from of it in reality, it make me feel so small. Sara and the other guards kneeled and bowed. I copied their movements, and heard footsteps.

The footsteps stopped in front of me and I was told to stand up. When I stand I'm met with a woman. She has an expressionless face, purple hair, and had this aura of power. It was Ei. She gestured for me to follow her inside. I do and I'm lead to a large room.

"Hello, Sozonushi," she said. She bows her head.

I tell her that she doesn't need to do that, but she says it's the only way she should greet the creator. This sparks my confusion and I ask what she's talking about.

Ei asks if I remember anything about creating her and her sister Makoto, to which I say no. Ei frowns and then keeps asking me questions. What I end up learning is that I'm the reincarnation of a god that created Teyvat, the archons, yokai, hilichurls, slimes, etc.

I stare at her and go to leave, only to feel like something is in my mind. It was like someone was holding my shoulder, the spot felt cold and the grip was tight.

"Please... don't leave them... They need you" The voice says, it feels motherly, kind, and desperate.

The grip lets go and I turn around to see who touched me, but all I see is a worried Ei.

"Sozonushi! Are you alright?" Ei rushes over to me.

"Yeah... I think so," I reply.

She keeps me busy for hours, I just want to find out what that voice, and feeling came from. Ei tells me stories she heard about "me". Everythign Ei is talking about is never mentioned in the Genshin game, so I start to think that I'm in a different diminssion one similar to the game but different, till Ei mentions how before Lumine helped her defeat Raiden Shogun and causing her to end the Vision Hunt decree and returning all the taken visions. I relieze, to these characters when I first downloaded the game, that was when their "world" started. I was in control of there actions, so to them I am an all powerful god.

When night falls, I'm lead to a beauitful room. I'm given sleeping clothes and a nice futon. I get under the blanket and fall asleep.

How Did You Meet !?

⟶ (Name), was the first girl descendant to be born in the (Last Name) Clan, a clan known for having powerful warriors over the generations and contributing the most to the army of Inazuma. ⟶ The young girl wasn't treated as an exception just because of being a girl, so she started training at a very young age and years later, became a general commanding the front row with Kujou Sara, who was favored by the Shogun. ⟶ (Name), had gained achievements over achievements in just a year since she joined the army, and became the left-hand of the Shogun. Not only that, but due to her increasing reputation in Inazuma, people came to adore her and saw her to be a sweet caring girl. ⟶ with all these facts, took upon the interest of the True Shogun, Raiden Ei, who rested in the Plain of Euthymia, but in a different way. ⟶ She wanted to know about (Name), her likes and dislikes, and every bit of information about her little human. ⟶ using her puppet to grant a private mission to her most-favored general, Kujou Sara, the order said to gather information about (Name) and her background. Kujou Sara was shocked but yet it was the Shogun, whom she served loyal, so how can she say no to her orders? ⟶ Ei never met (Name) in person, but she'd looked down upon her by exchanging roles with her puppet for a day, this obsessive aura of the electro god wasn't normal to be seen in a majestic and prideful woman like her. ⟶ Days, Weeks, and Months passed by that (Name) could feel herself going crazy, by the odd feeling of someone watching her at all ties, sometimes she'd find dead birds outside her manor, and even encounter a tall figure standing at the door of her room in the middle of the night.

Aftermath !?

⟶ A fateful day arrived, when (Name) was nowhere to be found. The disappearance shocked the citizens, as rumors began of someone kidnapping her, their speculations were right even after not knowing of who abducted the most respected general of Inazuma. ⟶ While (Name) found herself to be in a mysterious place, with a cold atmosphere, the area was full of ancient ruins and pillars, looking around in curiosity, she felt the same feeling of being watched, turning around in fear, she saw her. ⟶ "A...Almighty Shogun" as sweat formed on her face, she bowed down even in her weakest state, "My My..." the purple-haired woman walked up to the (h/c)-ette, coming close to (Name) she brought forward her slender hand, to hold her chin and lifting her face close to her. ⟶ "Now, looking closely at you, you're far are beautiful than I imagined" Ei glared coldly with her glowing purple eyes into those (e/c) eyes, (Name) felt her face heat up at those words of the electro god as she gently removed Ei's hands off her chin. ⟶ "Cute..." Ei smirked at the reaction making the young woman fluster, (Name) took a deep breath and looked up to the archon; and asked "Almighty Shogun, If you don't mind me asking, how did I get here?..." lowering her head again, "Because I brought you here." Ei replied boldly making (h/c)-ette eyes widen. ⟶ "W...Why Almighty Shogun? is there something I did wrong?" (Name) got up in a panic, "you dare question me over and over huh..., quite the guts I see, also I'm finding it annoying when you calling me "Almighty Shogun"...it's Ei." Ei replied putting her finger on her chin, "My apologies..." (Name) replied, "Well don't worry, Darling, I'll answer all questions but...", "But what?..." ⟶"You'll have to submit to me and become mine" Ei completed her sentence, (Name) stepped back "I can't...I must protect the citizens of this land!", Ei hummed walking to her, "I never said it was a request, and you're in no place to say no to me" grabbing the (h/c)-ette's neck and slamming her against a pillar, (Name) struggled into her grip making Ei grin widely, "Look at you, (Name), your weak...", "and you talk about protecting the people of Inazuma, don't make me laugh." ⟶ "Inazuma doesn't need a weak general like you..." Ei mocked (Name), hearing such harsh words the young lady couldn't hold herself back from crying, at the scene Ei let go of her grip making (Name) fall on the ground, she cried as she remembered those traumatic childhood memories of her parents starving her and calling her names; crying for hours she was almost out of breadth. the feeling of seeing her beloved sad Ei walked up to her and pulled (Name) close to her chest and whispered into her ear "Don't worry (Name), I'll protect you from this cruel world" as she planted a kiss on the sobbing woman's forehead.

⟶ Ei or Raiden Ei, is the most manipulative yandere among all the Genshin characters, cause she has years of experience, she has seen the monstrous side of the world and knows how to manipulate someone through their emotions with you coming to no exception. ⟶ Don't expect her to sugarcoat you with some sweet words, she is the type to say harsh things and let your confidence down, so you can't think of escaping her and fear her. ⟶ when it comes to the topic of you she is very short-tempered, she can't tolerate anyone bitch talk anything about her beloved (Name). ⟶ In the start, you'd scream a lot at her and you both would get into fights, she would most likely end up severely wounding you but as time passed by you were ok with her but not too okay, cause you can't forget the fact she stole your independence. ⟶ She is not the type to force you to do anything for her, she would give your space and privacy, but she expects you to love her no matter what. ⟶ In your relationship, it's nothing more than hugs and kisses, but the kiss between you and her is rough and she ends up biting your lips during the kiss. ⟶ Bloodshed for you is normal but, she takes it to a whole new level, if someone even talks to you or glances at you, the next day you will find her walking to the castle with their head in her hands and throwing it to you to catch, telling you to keep it cause its a sign of her love. ⟶ She wouldn't let you visit anyone you're close with unless it's Yae Miko or Kujou Sara. "Divine Priestess. You sure took your sweet time getting here," Scaramouche said bitterly.

"Well, this unexpected snowstorm did prove to be a difficult travel for your soldiers, not to mention that one couldn't breathe through their mouth."

"Oh, so he made it? Impressive. I'll be straightforward with you, Kokomi, I'm not here for idle chit chat."

Kokomi grinded her teeth at Scaramouche, who had very little to no care for his people. "Of course, I don't want to waste your time here any longer, my Lord."

"I'll pretend you aren't mocking me just this once for their sake," Scaramouche unwrapped a blanket to reveal the raven he had been carrying in his arms. Kokomi gasped at the sight.

"A raven? But I thought all of them were terribly massacred."

"I had thought so too. However, it seems as though one managed to survive. But not without being harmed. I managed to stop the poison from getting anywhere near their heart, but only someone with your expertise can fully rid them of this poison."

"Yes, of course, I'll gladly do so. Seems to be yet another effect of black magic. " Kokomi carefully picked the raven off Scaramouche's hold and placed them on a flat surface, "You poor thing, do not fret. The pain will only be temporary."

Scaramouche gave Kokomi space, distancing himself. He had saved the raven purely out of impulse.

The truth was,

He saw a little bit of himself when he witnessed the Raven's begging.

The times he had begged his mother to not toss him aside.

"Please don't leave me! I swear I'll be better, I'll become better!"

But when he begged, no one saved him.

So he saved you, his raven.

It didn't take too long for you to wake up. The immediate soreness rushed through your body. You held your head as you felt a headache coming in.

Though your eyes were blurry, you could make your surroundings you were in an infirmary of some sorts. But most importantly, you weren't home.

Your memories started to flood back in. They were dead, you could feel it. You were alone.

"So you're finally awake."

Your eyes shifted to the doorway where the man who saved you stood.

"Who are you?" On guard, you still had no clue of this man's intention regardless of his helping hand.

"I was expecting a 'Thank you', but I did hear you Raven's were quite the bold ones when it comes to strangers not of their Lord's."

"You didn't answer my question." You carefully demanded.

"Well, to put it simply, I'm your Lord." He crossed his arms.

Your Lord? But that would mean. Now that you looked at him, he awfully resembled the Raiden Shogun. Oh.

He shoulders tensed at your realization. He sighed, rolling his eyes from you to the bandages on your stomach.

"That I am. Seems your injury has been healing quite well. " he placed a hand at his chest, playing with the fabric. You eyed his strange actions.

"If you have taken place, does that mean the Shogun has stepped down?"

"She died."

Your heart sank. "She - she died? Is that why she didn't come to save us?" You talked more to yourself than to the man in the room.

"The events happened just a mere day before your family's incident. It's such a shame. You all were supposed to be my army."

Your headache was starting to hurt. What now? What now? What now? What now? What now?

"Calm yourself, you swore to me, remember? I don't need a brainless fool by my side."

You were still in shock that all of this had occurred, this- it was too much.

The morning air felt unusually cold, as you waited at a food vendor in Inazuma City for Kujou Sara. Last night thoughts lingered in your mind.

"Hey, you alright?" Kujou Sara woke you up from your thoughts.

Huh? You were confused as to how you exactly made this bench you and Sara sat on in front of a small pond with Koi fish swimming about. Was I that deep in my thoughts?

"Yes, sorry I was just zoning out."

"So, what did he talk to you about? Did he confess his undying love for you?" Sara practically gagged at the idea.

"Nothing really just something about scouting the area near Kannazuka island."

Sara nodded taking a bit out of her egg roll. "Didn't you say you have something to tell me?" You asked.

"Ah yes that. I just wanted to ask a personal question, if you don't mind that is."

"That depends on the question, Sara."

"Do you like Scaramouche?" You almost choked on your food.

"No." You managed to cough out.

"Well you sure answered that quickly, a little too eager to shut it down if i do say so myself."

You gave her a deadpanned look to which she lightly laughed at.

"That couldn't have possibly been your question, stop messing with me, your jokes are not funny."

"Oh but you laughed when I fell down the stairs." Sara sarcastically said.

You covered your chuckle at the thought.

"Wow!!" Sara exaggerated.

"Now see, that was funny." You both smiled at the memory.

You both relaxed in the silence eating your food. You've grown close to Sara during your few months living and working in Tenshukaku, often checking on each other regardless of different positions.

Though you denied it you did trust her and valued her opinions even though they annoyed you or you disagreed with them. However, at this very moment.

You were in a rush back to Tenshukaku purely out of frustration, you didn't usually get upset that easily at least not with Sara.

You were on edge.

What did she really want to say? It felt like she was testing my current mindset. And clearly, I have failed. The trust is no longer there. She won't confide in me anymore. Could she be-

You were abruptly pushed back when your shoulder collided with another.

"Oh, so sorry, dear." A lady grabbed your arm apologetically. You turned to look at the said the Lady. No way.

"You look so gloomy dear, it's been quite a while hasn't it. That last time we've truly interacted was when I visited your family." She clasped her hand on yours as a means to say her condolences.

"I must be on my Lady Guji" you broke off from her hold, bowing and continuing your walk.

She called your name.

"Whenever you seek answers you know where to find me."

You gazed behind your shoulder as you watched Lady Guji walk off.

She is heading in the direction of Kujou Sara.

In a discreet room in Komore Teahouse, four guests hold a heavy discussion.

"Raven's are very loyal Sara, they were soldiers and messengers for the Shogun herself. And now only one remains. They aren't just loyal because Scaramouche saved them but because it's their job" Shikanoin Heizou explains.

Sara groaned in frustration as Yae Miko hummed.

"Oh detective, it's much more than that, surely you have realized that?"

"Miko enough of your literature input." Sara barked.

"Sara you can't deny they clearly have something between them that the public eye can't see, maybe even they themselves can't see-" Yae Miko took a sip out of her tea.

"-Regardless, your relationship has cracked after your inputting"

"Which is why I told you not to engage so brashly," Heizou added.

"Yes, I get it, I fucked up. However, I do not regret it one bit. They are obviously very detached from themselves. I simply want to help."

"Relax, Sara, one might think you're the one in love-" Miko teased, though it only upset the ex-general.

"Enough of these games Miko. I had enough about them. The whole purpose isn't about Raven, it's about Scaramouche and bringing him down."

"Alright alright, slow your horses Sara. Raven may not be the whole purpose but they surely do play a part" Heizou defused the rise in emotions.

"With what exactly?" Sara calmed herself.

"Well, Divine Priestess? You've been unusually quiet when you're the one who hosted this meeting?" Miko gestured to the unspoken guest.

"Apologies everyone, I'm just soaking in the many possible outcomes of this rebellion" Kokomi placed the tea she was holding for a while down.

"Of course, because this could always backfire on us at any time. Which might very well cost us our lives" Heizou reminded. Everyone nodded in acknowledgement.

Kokomi cleared her throat.

"There is one factor we might be able to exploit from our Raven's existence-

their heart."

You trashed everything in your room. Glass shattered on the floor. Curtains dragged to the floor.

You were sweating, as your chest was burning up. Your brain screamed at you as you gripped the edge of your vanity table. You couldn't even bring yourself to look at your reflection out of fear on your appearance.

It felt like darkness was cloaking you, suffocating you. Constant whispers of wanting to kill and commit multiple bloodsheds flew into your ears as you told it to "shut up" which to no surprise did not work.

Frequently, Kujou Sara's name was brought up. You always talked big on doing what you must. But the morbid description of putting an end to her clawed at you. She was your friend, after all.

I always seem to contradict myself. You laughed at yourself.

You wanted to rip your skin, you couldn't take it.

You heard your name being called from behind you.

"You're aware when I said this room is for you to do as you please, I didn't mean to turn it into a dumpster." You lifted your eyes to see Scaramouche through the mirror, blurring out your image. You hadn't realized he welcomed himself inside.

"Lord-"

"Don't you ever get tired of calling me that? It's just me and you. You know my name use it."

"I didn't mean to Kuni" he softly sighed as he walked up closer to you resting his hand on the top of your chair.

"I don't know about that, you seemed to make sure to destroy every fragile item here. Mind telling what's the issue?"

"It's nothing."

"Don't lie to me"

"It's quite embarrassing for me to have to fetch my own soldier when they should've arrived at the said time." He complained but he didn't really seem to care that much about the matter.

"It won't happen again"

"I would hope not. Now-" he grabbed your hair pulling it off your face.

"All of them," you answered.

He hummed. "I should have expected as much. Well, there is nothing we can do at the movement. What do you say we just act it out till the moment to strike arises."

"Yes sir"

Sir? You never really called him as such. And it was off-putting for Scaramouche. He chose to ignore it.

"... I never liked that Kujou girl anyways."

He pulled out a handkerchief from his pocket wiping the sweat off your face with it.

"Now we have work to do, dear. Don't worry about the mess, I'll have someone take care of it."

You slowly stood up from your chair with the help of Scaramouche pulling your chair out for you.

"Calmer?" He asked.

You nodded. You peeked through the now wide opened windows thanks to you. "The snow is finally drying up."

"The cold still lingers so make sure to wear your coat, I'll meet you outside."

"No, wait." You called out.

Scaramouche stopped at the door, awaiting your response. "My coat is on the bed, I just need to put it on. So might as well go down together" you swiftly made your way to your bed to put on your coat.

Scaramouche held the door for you, as you walked out together.

Still eagerly awaiting Inazuma rewrite part 2, do share what you've cooked

Hi!! Thank you so much for your interest, it means a lot :) (and sorry for the delayed reply ugh). I've been Sick lately and and haven't been doing much... this ask is what convinced me to finish my (very) rough outline though.

I'll keep to Genshin's Act structure, though I don't think it's really necessary... it's just easier to partition out. I have pasted my notes below LOL, many details are missing! but this is the rough sketch, which i will flesh out more later.

Act 2

Escape from police station (Ayaka=Tsubaki and Yoimiya as NPCs)

Yashiro Commission

Narukami Shrine

Rescue Itto from Tenshukaku (he tries to get Yoimiya's Vision back after she lost it in Act I), the party fights against Ei and briefly sees her in Eurythmia...

And then the party flees to Kannazuka, right in the middle of the Narukami-Watatsumi conflict.

Structurally, it's not that different from what's going on in canon, but I wanted to focus more on setting up Kazuha and Ayaka's interpersonal conflict (she wants him to help, he wants to escape), seeding the mysteries about Ayato's assassination and Yae Miko's disappearance and then shuffling off to Kannazuka once it becomes clear they cannot beat Ei in a fight and she ain't gonna listen.

The Yashiro Commission was handed over to the guy who sold out Ayato, and he takes over as the clan head.

Kazuha loses his Vision here, but keeps his friend's. Thoma would get arrested helping Ayaka escape, as would most of the Kamisato Clan. Yashiro Commission handed off to another, more loyal clan.

There would be two boss battles in Act II; the Maguu Kenki from Yashiori Island would be guarding the escape from the police station, and Raiden Shogun herself ofc.

Act 3 & maybe 4 (depends how long this takes)

Making contact with the Watatsumi rebels, who've teamed up with Scaramouche's Fatui company to fight Narukami's forces on Kannazuka. At this point, Scaramouche has been stranded in Inazuma since Sakoku was enforced and doesn't really know what's going on with the rest of the Fatui... He also has the grand scheme of how to defeat Ei, which is to steal her Gnosis and kick her while she's down.

Kokomi's totally fine with that, doesn't bother her in the slightest.

Mechanically, this is completing the Sacred Sakura Ritual with Kokomi, Ayaka and Scaramouche accompanying the party in turns.

I wanted the ritual to change to a pilgrimage across Inazuma's islands, stopping at each one to complete that part of the ritual. That's way too much to ask for all of Inazuma's islands; I'd probably whittle them down to three and make the journey a march from Watatsumi back to Narukami, addressing plot point at each stop.

Narratively, this is where the meat and potatoes of Ayaka, Kazuha and Scaramouche's weird triangle comes into play, and the ghost of Kazuha's friend kind of awkwardly hangs over it by representing something different to each of them. (Kazuha's guilt and straight-up resentment that his friend ~got himself killed~, an inspiration to Ayaka, but Scaramouche can't understand why Kazuha won't take revenge), set alongside the loss of Kazuha's Vision whittling away his memories. Ayaka would be pretty instrumental in helping Kazuha remember whats important to him without trying to take advantage (unlike Scara lol)

Scara would be pretty rotten to them, especially to Kazuha. He probably offered Kazuha a Delusion to go and help avenge his friend before picking a fight, and Kazuha ends up just... disengaging when he gets his head on straight. Ayaka and Kazuha would start coming to an understanding bc like, they ARE friends and all. Just takes a bit. Kazuha talks wistfully about his journeys. Ayaka reminisces on the adventures they got up to in kids and how much him leaving hurt her. etc etc

I don't want this to turn into a yap fest, but I don't think extended chats are needed to run this all home.

One thing Scaramouche does that will come back to haunt him later is fighting the party before they go to face Ei, because he can and does replicate Ei's Musou no Hitotachi on a much smaller scale.

Kazuha is a genius. He is a sword savant. He sees how this attack works, he survives it, this is a surprise tool that will help us later.

We'd fight Sara, address the Tri-Commission and Yae Miko would also get rescued somewhere in here. Kazari probably pops in and out too - I think here she was probably repping Yae Miko, not Kitsune Saiguu.

Act 5 - VS Ei

This is pretty simple, its the final showdown at Tenshukaku. The last stop at the Sacred Sakura Ritual is in Narukami City, though the city is definitely in bad shape from all the accumulated filth around the tree and the statue.

Watatsumi rebels would come in with Kokomi to help protect the people of Narukami from the disaster, along with the Arataki Gang, Shuumatsuban etc. Very "'we all work together in a crisis".

Raiden Shogun wants to preserve Inazuma as it is, forever. Once that's done, other issues can be taken care of. I think she'd start registering anything that gets in the way of this as a threat (including her own people once they start complaining).

We don't fight Signora here.

Boss Stage 1: Lumine, Venti, Xiao vs Raiden Shogun

Boss fight commences and its not going great - Kazuha blocks Ei's Musou-no-Hitotachi and awakens his friend's Vision and changes the tides. This wakes Ei THE FUCK up

Boss Stage 2: vs Raiden Shogun, but occasionally jumps into the Plane of Eurythmia to fight Ei, or she comes out sometimes, unsure.

People losing faith in Ei/the Shogun probably serves as a massive debuff that increases as the fight goes on. Kokomi also completing the Sacred Sakura Ritual in the middle of it would cut off a large source of her power gained from the accumulated filth. (that shit was probably abyssal anyway. unhelpful!)

I'd like Ei to start to change her mind once she realises what she's done and becomes more emotional when she talks about how she just wanted to protect Inazuma, but for the Shogun would keep fighting anyway and consider Ei herself a threat to the plan.

Importantly, Scaramouche kills Ei. He shoves his hand through her chest to find the Gnosis, but it's gone. It might've been possible to reconcile with Ei once the Shogun was defeated, but that chance is gone and the Shogun is too damaged to keep using as a vessel. She'd die in Yae Miko's arms, but not before saying she'd like to see the Inazuma everyone creates in the next life. Venti says goodbye to his old friend.

After-arc wind-down. A few days later it's all settling down; Ayaka as head of the Tri-Commission and Kokomi will be working together to try and rebuild and re-establish Inazuma/relations between Narukami and Watatsumi etc.

Yoimiya fixes the Alcor. Beidou is really mad she missed the party and asks why no-one went to get her.

I think at this point Kazuha and Ayaka would be at a crossroads. Ayaka knows Kazuha prefers a life of freedom and would hate being stuck helping her in Inazuma, and Kazuha wants to take responsibility and help her.

Kazuha joins the party etc. Scara's interest in Kazuha and Kazuha's "...? tf is your problem" will utterly flip in Sumeru, where Kazuha and Scaramouche continue to have extremely violent influence on each other's growth. (also, after a taste of fighting Ei, kazuha will grow to understand his friend more after fighting godmode scara etc etc.)

Yae Miko would've traded the Gnosis' location to Scaramouche like in canon, but she'd probably do it to try and spare Ei. She took it with her when she 'went missing' (was captured) and hid it along the way (in Neko the Cat's offering box at Asase Shrine).

(Ayato's death - he attempted to work with Yae Miko to prevent the Raiden Shogun's plan from ever taking place, but was sold out by the head of one of the another clans who discovered their plans and wanted to take his place as head of the Yashiro Commission. Use the guy from Ayato's quest for that. Move his clan into Yashiro. Ayaka doesn't know any of this yet - solving this mystery is one of her goals)

There would be slightly major changes to Scara's arc to simplify it and make it parallel Kazuha's better. Mostly that he also didn't understand his friend, who died willingly reforging the Raiden Shogun's sword and got real mad about it.

Kazuha is an "exceptional human" - the type that Celestia would want to ascend after his death, like Venessa and Guhua. He's a truly prodigal swordsman - instead of deflecting the Shogun's sword slash once and then leaving his development there, Kazuha uses it as a springboard to keep growing stronger. Kazuha really comes to enjoy fighting powerful enemies on his travels, but he isn't necessarily interested in winning - he just enjoys the experience. (lumine indulges him, xiao does not play ball, venti's a little amused that kazuha never really challenges him?)

kazuha yoinks both his friend's vision and the musou isshin. little klepto freak. he gets his anemo vision back and multiwields. i thought his little fanclub was funny in his own quest. it'd be cute if the people of narukami just figured the "venti is barbatos" thing was a dumb rumour and get really excited about this one guy that becomes a local hero.

I don't think anyone has ever connected this song to Wanderer, but it connects to him so well.
