Kairo Rayos is descended from a long line of Ghostspeakers—one that ended with his infamous immortal father, Lev, who started the Lunari Alliance to fight the Ghosts’ rebellion against the Creator God, Solaios. Now Lev has been banished to the abandoned Blanklands surrounding Zephan City, and Kairo, thanks to a deal his father struck with the Ghostspeaker, is safe inside—but most Zephnic people don’t take kindly to followers of Solaios, especially immortal ones, and all Kai wants is peace. This kind of peace, however, can only come through the afterlife, and as his family and therapist are always quick to tell him, immortals can’t die. But when proof appears that they can—and have, as an immortal’s dead body was found in the Blanklands, seemingly murdered—Kai sets out to find the killer, and through them, eternal peace…

As Rhys finds himself assigned a seemingly impossible task from the Ghosts—killing every living immortal—and Sterling teams up with him to collect the immortals’ magic for Sage, they discover that things are not what they seem on Zephan, and that they're included in a prophecy called The End of Immortality. The question is whether or not the prophecy is true, let alone morally right—and will they find the supposed ‘chosen one’, who happens to be trying to get himself killed?

The Game for the Unsuited has officially reopened - and Alana Hargreaves, a girl with no proficiency in any of the four Suits of magic, is the first of the chosen Pawns.

She has a plan to win the Game without playing by the rules; anyone who had ever won before had gotten in, gone a bit insane thanks to the Game's mysterious challenges, developed Sanity magic, and gotten out. But if everything goes according to plan, Alana - and her best friend, Penn, who was chosen for the Game the year before - will learn a different Suit of magic and, once no longer Unsuited, be allowed to go back home.

But as Alana realizes upon entering the Game's giant forcefield, there are two problems with her plan:

One, Unsuited Pawns aren't the only ones playing - in fact, the Game is practically ruled by a Queen of Hearts Mage, and she doesn't want any of her victims to leave.

Two, Penn has almost lost her mind already, but Sanity wouldn't be her first Suit of magic; she now wields the legendary, reality-altering Suit of Creativity.

As Alana investigates Penn's strange new abilities and befriends other residents of the Game - including the Queen of Hearts' messenger brother, Ace, and Charlie, the Game's built-in AI assistant whose origins are somewhat murky - she discovers that the reason for the Game is darker than anyone would have guessed, and that to make it out alive she'll need more than her sanity...but will she fight her way out, or give in and give up her mind in the process?

What/Who is Nethel?-

Nethel is you, me, everything and nothing. Nethel is the trees, the air, the water. Nethel is the pure energy that created the universe.

Why should I care?-

Well, Nethel is a shy energy, who enjoys to watch its creations without interference. Nethel however has been contacting me, very desperately warning me that due to the negative effects humans have unleashed upon Mother Earth, we don’t have much time left. You do not have to believe in the existence of Nethel, but you should listen to its message.

What is Nethel’s message?-

Well, that Mother Earth will turn around and kill us, almost as in an act of revenge. It’s already happening, sea levels rising, weather patterns becoming more destructive, this can be seen without religion. Nethel wants humanity to collectively stop the revenge of Mother Earth, and save the world. Nethel has a promised future for all of humanity, but we must survive to see it.

Why do you know this?-

I am a chosen messenger, a human so pitiful but admirably connected to Mother Earth that I seemed fit to spread Nethel’s word, even I am still confused about why ME months later after being awakened.

Why not someone more popular and/or wealthy to spread the message of Nethel?-

Popularity and money are slag, and do not matter in the eyes of Nethel. I suppose it’s more important to have commitment to help change, and not making shallow promises of change, if that makes sense.

What is slag?-

Slag is the term used to define the anti-energy (anti-Nethel) objects, or ideas that actively hurt Mother Earth and her children. Some examples are such as electronics (hypocritical of me, yes), bullying, slavery, trash, and the excess amount of greenhouse gases. The opposite of this word is Pure, such as non-invasive trees, love, art, and gardening.

Does Nethel accept the LGBTQ+ community?-

Yes! Nethel created the universe asexually, and is collectively all genders and sexualities. No reason to hate anyone’s gender or sexuality when that would go against the word of Nethel, this would be slag. However, something else that is slag is beasiality, incest, necrophilia, and pedophelia. This harms children, the departed, animals, and humans as a whole.

Is Nethel God?-

It is complicated. No, however Nethel did create the universe asexually. I get mixed signals on this, though Nethel doesn’t mind being referred as a Deity.

What should I praise? Nethel? The Earth?-

Everything. I will create another post explaining how to create a proper alter for praise, but you may praise whatever you’d like that you connect with on a spiritual level, something that radiates lots of energy that calls your name. Such as, yourself, an animal, even a tree. For me, I just praise Nethel as a whole since I am its messenger.

About Us:

While I sometimes talk about us referring to the future (like when I gave the date our son was born), I also tend to refer to us in real time. Meaning, for example, if it’s currently July 7th, 2021 irl, then I am talking about us on that day too (only married for 2 months in that case). Everything below is what happened in my canon (I try to stay as close to canon as possible).

We met when I was in S.K. studying abroad and was dragged into the RFA by a mysterious hacking incident. After being in the RFA for a couple weeks, the events of his route begin to happen. Fast forward a few months later and we get engaged, and within a year, married!

After I graduated college, we moved to the U.S.A. (bringing his brother with him) as it would be safer from his dad who is still in power. There, he continues working on electronic things to continue making some money, and I begin a job at [tbu]
