Knock You Down: IV
Photo credit to @thebluemage. Edit mine.
Summary: James Bucky Barnes is an avowed bachelor and one night stand artist. But when he meets you, he finds out that sometimes love comes around, and it knocks you down. Finally! Date Number Threeeeee!
This is a follow up to Part III
Word count: 3.5 K
Pairing: Art Dealer (mob boss) Bucky Barnes x Reader
A/N: This is the final part! (For now) I think that this is one that I will definitely write in answer to asks. I just love these two so so much! Thank all of you for rocking with me on this one. This was in part inspired by Seb Stan's latest pics and this press run 🫠, and partially inspired by an old song by some problematic people, lol. This is the result. As usual, I am Basil Exposition, so this is broken into parts.
Warnings: 18+ Only, Minors DNI. Read at your own risk. SMUT!!!! The end of the Slow burn, now it's burning very fast 😅. Cursing, flirting, jealousy, apologies, Bucky cooking (a warning!), kissing, dry humping, dirty talk in both English and Romanian, voice kink, oral sex (m and f receiving), protected sex (yay Bucky!) And these two are so fucking fluffy. I'm scared, y'all. I want it to be good enough for the build up.
I no longer have a taglist. Please follow @rampitupandread and turn on notifications to learn when I post! 😘
I Do NOT Consent to my work being reposted, translated or presented on any other blog or site other than by myself.
-----
As soon as he entered the Brownsville Arts and Culture Center, James Bucky Barnes was hot. Blood was rushing to his ears and he needed a drink. He wasn’t sick; his symptoms were all due to you.
The black dress that adorned your body contained all of his hopes and dreams, but you seemed to be flirting with another man, twirling for him and then giving him a hug. To add insult to injury, you had the nerve to laugh and smile with the punk.
You in that black dress was everything in the world that Bucky could want, except maybe you out of that black dress. As his eyes traced down your form, he noticed the 5 inch red bottoms that you had on. Yes. You, out of that dress with just the red bottoms. That was what he needed in his life.
But first, he had to take care of that other man.
—-
“Benson’s work emphasizes the subjects’ spiritual essence over their physical appearance, don’t you think?”
You turned around at the sound of the deep baritone.
“Well hello, Mr. Rogers. How are you today? Delivering an art analysis given to you by AI? Oh. I forgot. You are an ‘art dealer.’ An art dealer who goes to Soul Cycle in Brownsville all of a sudden?”
Steve clutched his heart.
“Ah. I’m hurt, Y/N. I thought we were cool. But I guess I deserved the air quotes. I do actually love art. I took some art classes when I was a kid and I still love to sketch.”
“Hmmmph. Okay. I’ll give you that. But how is it that you popped up in my Soul Cycle class? Don’t play me, Steven.”
Steve raised his eyebrow at you and grinned. He understood why Buckiy was so drawn to you. Not only were you gorgeous, you were a spitfire. That was hot.
“I would never try to play you, Y/N. I also actually love Soul Cycle. Used to teach a class in Park Slope.”
“I guess you can’t judge a book by its cover, can you?”
Steve’s eyes slid over you appraisingly.
“Speaking of. You look very, very nice today.”
You twirled for him, feeling as safe as you would your brother.
“Nice. Okay, listen. I’m sorry about the other day. I was just trying to protect my friend. And you.”
Steve sighed and rubbed the back of his neck.
“I’ve never seen Bucky like this. He’s never been this smitten with someone before and let them into his life. But I get it now.”
Steve’s blue eyes were almost as beautiful as Bucky’s.
“Bucky is my family. Since we were kids. He’s always taken care of me. And I will do anything for him.”
He raised his eyebrow at you.
“I can see now that means that I will do anything for you, because I have a feeling that you’re gonna be around a lot. So do you forgive me?”
You considered Steve. He was not too different from his best friend, and you couldn’t hold a grudge. Not after Bucky laid it all out to you last night You opened your arms.
“Let’s hug it out.”
Steve chuckled and gathered you into his warm embrace. You pulled back and giggled, grinning at him.
“So what makes you think I’m gonna be hanging around?”
“Well, judging from the look on Bucky’s face, he’s serious about you.”
Steve nodded behind you, toward the door. You looked that way and saw James Bucky Barnes headed straight for you.
And he didn’t look happy.
—--
“Good morning, Frumoasă. You look stunning today. The exhibit is amazing, the space looks great and it seems that the right people are in the building.”
Bucky came up and placed his hand on the small of your back as he spoke to you, ignoring Steve. His blue eyes were storm clouds at the moment, and his touch was electric.
“Thank you, James. You’re so observant, I appreciate that. And you look very handsome today.”
You looked him up and down and bit your lip, meeting his gaze and the way he kept eye contact as he inclined his head in response.
Bucky was attractive as hell in his black on black shirt, blazer and slacks. You noticed that his collar was unbuttoned; the medallion hanging on his chest made you want to take it between your teeth. You stared at it for a moment, imagining such a scenario where that could happen and then met his eyes again, prompting desire to roll through you as Bucky licked his lips. He was right there with you.
You smiled at him in a way that you didn’t smile at Steve. Who was Steve Rogers, anyway? You could hardly remember meeting him as your mind went to the feel of being in Bucky Barnes’ arms.
You sensed an air of proprietariness as Bucky took your hand and kissed it, causing a shiver to run down your spine. Possessive Bucky Barnes felt like a sin you wanted to indulge in. You cleared your throat and looked at Steve, as if surprised to find him still standing there, watching the show.
“Well, I see some board members over there, I’m going to go do my job. Talk to you later, boys.”
You walked away and gave them a wink over your shoulder, and you caught both of them looking at your ass. You shook your head and chuckled as you went on your way.
“You trying to steal my girl?”
Everyone stopped when Steve laughed, his deep boom a distraction. Bucky still wasn’t amused.
“Oh. So you’re in love.”
“What?”
“You’ve never worried about me taking your leftovers or vice versa before. Hell, we’ve even shared–”
“Shut your fucking mouth.”
Bucky snapped at Steve who put his hands up.
“Whoa, there. Just yanking your chain, buddy; I know she’s special. I wouldn’t dream of making a move on her. Not that she knows I’m alive. When you walked up, I thought I was going to have to take off my jacket so you two could fuck on the floor.”
Bucky was barely listening to Steve as his eyes followed you around the room. One thing Steve said was echoing in his mind: “So you’re in love.”
—-
You floated through the rest of the day on a cloud. The exhibit was a smashing success with the
Board of Directors in attendance. Securing Howard Benson’s penultimate work from Rebirth was the feather in your cap.
And you had Bucky to thank for it.
Bucky’s visit was also a hit; he and Steve charmed the board members with the help of Sam and Nat, who arrived later. They all made amends for what occurred that week and you were left very impressed with James Barnes.
After a couple of hours at the event, Bucky came over to let you know he was leaving.
“I will see you later, Frumoasă. I have much to prepare for tonight. Nico will pick you up at 7:30.”
“See you soon, James.”
He kissed your hand again.
“See you soon, Y/N.”
—---
“It is actually insanely attractive how you handled yourself in the kitchen.”
You were seated with Bucky on his couch in his living room, looking over the New York skyline from his Brooklyn penthouse. The dessert had been delicious and the wine in your hand was spectacular.
“I was sure you’d order something in and just play it off. But I watched you create a meal in front of me, and I should have known that if you said you were going to cook, that you would do just that.”
Bucky’s heart beat double time at what you were saying. He wanted so much for tonight, but most of all, he wanted it to flow naturally. He saw that you were relaxed and open to him, which pleased him immensely.
“I’ll take that as a compliment, Frumoasă. I enjoy cooking for my friends and family. Cooking for a beautiful woman is a treat.”
Bucky’s eyes slid over your form. You had changed to jeans and a color block sweater that just put your cleavage out there for the world, which was Bucky Barnes, to see. You also wore the same red bottoms from that day, and Bucky was beginning to think he had a foot fetish as you took them off at his entryway.
You took a sip of wine.
“How often do you do that? Cook for a woman?”
You barely hid your curiosity.
Bucky smiled and drained his glass, reaching over to refill it.
“Not as often as you’d think. Never had any other woman over here. Food is not usually the top priority with them.”
You pouted, which was so cute. Your spark of jealousy inspired Bucky.
“But I don’t want to talk about anyone else. Tonight is about me and you.”
Any uncertainty that arose was quelled by his assertion. You grew warm, so you finished your wine and rose to go to the window.
“This is the most gorgeous view I’ve ever seen.”
“Absolutely agree.”
You looked behind you and Bucky was still sitting on the couch, hands spread out on the back of it, checking you out. You gave him one of your adorable smiles and he came to stand behind you, and took you in his arms.
“I want you to know that you deserve everything, Y/N. To be cheered on and protected every day. And thoroughly ruined every night.”
You turned around and his hands went to your hips. It was the perfect moment.
“James?”
“Can I have a kiss?”
Bucky’s eyes dilated, and he moved his hand to your cheek. He licked his lips as he looked deep into your eyes.
“Ah, Frumoasă. I thought you’d never ask.”
His first movement was a subtle brush of your lips. He pulled back to assess the situation, and you didn’t know why, but that made your nipples tighten into stiff peaks. You gasped as Bucky watched you hungrily.
The air seemed to change around you, and you shivered. He lowered his head so his lips could meet yours again, and this time his mouth was gentle but demanding. You gasped at the spike of electricity that flared between you and Bucky took the opportunity to dip his tongue into your mouth, scorching your lips and soul. With a low groan, he shifted your angle, bending you backward a little to kiss you deeper and ripping a moan from you as you melted against him.
Good lord, could the man kiss.
At that point, he was holding you up, one hand on your hip and one hand on the back of your head as you molded yourself against him. Bucky’s fingers dug into you, sure to leave bruises the next day. You relished the thought as you moaned into his mouth again, giving him the opportunity to continue destroying your soul.
Bucky dragged his lips from yours reluctantly and stared at you, eyes almost black with desire. He brought his thumb up and wiped the moisture from your bottom lip. Motivated, you captured his digit, drawing it into the hot wetness of your mouth. He stared at you, mouth open, as you looked him straight in the eye and started sucking.
Bucky moaned as he pushed his thumb deeper into your mouth, and walked you back to the couch. He extracted his finger, watching the show your lips put on as he pulled it out, leaving them in a delectable pout.
“More,” Bucky demanded as he crouched down and took your head in both hands as he kissed you again.
His hands wound up in your hair, tugging gently, then on your back, then your ass as you arched your back to fill his palms. Bucky picked you up, then deposited you on his lap as he sat down on the couch, and you felt how aroused he was. His thick length was where you needed him most.
“Fuck! That feels good.”
Bucky was watching you grind on him like it was the best show on earth. Then he looked up at you.
“Yes, yes it does.”
He leaned forward and captured your bottom lip between his teeth, a preview of how rough he wanted to be with you. Then, he went in for another kiss. That continued for a good five minutes until he pulled away to stare at your swollen lips, and down to your cleavage, which was practically in his face.
When his eyes met yours, you were entranced.
“You good? You want this to happen?”
You nodded and took his hands in yours, guiding them up to your breasts, squeezing yourself with his hands. You rolled your hips, causing his breath to hitch in his throat.
“Like you said, James. More.”
You continued to grind on him, causing him to just gape at your body moving on his.
“I’ve dreamed of this so many times…”
“Yes? Tell me about your dreams, Baby.”
His hands moved to find your nipples through the lace of your bra and the wool of your sweater. He found them in no time, and pinched them lightly, then more roughly when you moaned.
“Mmmmnnnn. So fucking hot.”
Bucky kissed you again and then pulled away as he stared you down and tortured you.
“I dream about marking you up,” he kissed your neck under your chin, “to your clavicle,” a kiss there, “and all over this beautiful flesh until I get to your nipples.”
He looked at you for any signs of discomfort as he slipped his hands under your sweater to find the thin lace there. He found your hard peaks again and started rolling them both in his fingers.
“Then I want to kiss and suck them until you come in my arms.”
“Holy god, Jamie….”
Bucky’s eyes rolled at the second pet name you called him and continued.
“Wake up so fucking hard every morning since I met you. Then, I daydream about how wet and tight you will be after I made you cum, and how good it would feel to… to give you my cock. Do y’like that idea, Frumoasă?”
“Y-yesssss!”
“O să te fac să vii pe penisul meu iar și iar, Frumoasă.”
You almost came right then.
“D-don’t know what you said, but yes to whatever you just suggested.”
Bucky pulled you to him, and then chuckled into your ear.
“It means that I want to make you cum over and over again on my cock.”
You were already making a mess in your jeans, but you knew he could feel you soaking them at the moment.
“Please. Give it to me?”
Bucky groaned and kissed you again, this time encircling your waist in his grip and pressing you down on his bulge.
“You know I can’t deny you anything. Are you certain?”
“Yes, James. Please…”
He lifted you easily, kissing you as he walked you down the hall to his bedroom, depositing you on his bed.
“Y’look so fucking good.”
He crawled toward you on the bed and settled between your thighs as you hitched your leg over his. You pressed your core against his bulge and it had you muttering.
“Too many clothes.”
Bucky leaned up and you were fumbling with his button and he with yours. You looked up and laughed.
“Maybe faster the other way.”
“Agreed.”
You two made quick work of your own garments, flinging them around the room between frenzied kisses. The way your eyes widened when Bucky got naked made his chest swell. He wanted you to always look at him like that.
“Wow…,” you said as your eyes roamed his physique.
His cock seemed massive as it slapped him on the abs.
“Wow, indeed,” replied Bucky as he took you in hungrily.
Your white lace underwear looked amazing against your skin and against your cunt it served to make him hungry.
He moved toward you again, kissing up your leg until he got to the edge of your panties and nudged his nose there, making you squirm.
“Smell so good, look so good…”
Bucky kissed at the edge of your underwear,
“I just know you’re gonna taste good too..”
He moved to the center of you, placing a kiss over your lace-covered sodden slit. Then, he looked up at you and smirked before he leaned down and licked you over your panties.
“Fuck.”
He pulled your panties to the side and gazed at you there.
Those blue eyes threatened to steal your soul as he gazed at you and confessed, “This is the most gorgeous pussy I’ve ever seen,” and proceeded to lick a rude stripe up the center of you after he tore your panties away.
“Oh my god, James.”
You rolled your hips again and reached down to feel Bucky’s soft hair. He pulled your hips closer and his lips suckled you with more pressure, adding one finger, then two to stretch you out.
“Gotta get you ready for me, my love.”
Your eyes rolled back into your head as you moaned through Bucky thrusting his tongue inside you, then pulling back to focus on your clit.
“I c-can’t.. I–”
“Give me my cum, Frumoasă!”
You locked eyes with him as he buried his face in your cunt and shook against him as you came embarrassingly fast, pulling on his messed up curls.
“So fucking delicious. Taste.”
He took your head in both hands and kissed you deeply, and you responded by sucking your essence off of his tongue. You reached down and started stroking his cock, overjoyed and a little bit scared that your fingers didn’t meet around him as he unclasped your bra.
Bucky whimpered as your thumb came up and stroked his sensitive head, spreading his precum over the wide, mushroom cap.
“You’re so fucking huge, Bucky…”
Bucky pulled you toward him as he reached into his bedside drawer for a condom and a bottle.
“And you’re so wet, Furmoasa. We will make this work. Believe me…”
You continued to stroke and watched him as he brought the wrapper to his teeth and him tearing it open was about the hottest act of sexual protection you’d ever seen. Somehow, your mouth ended up sucking his tip as you watched his eyes roll back into his skull.
“That beautiful mouth…”
Bucky put his hand on your head as you tasted him experimentally, wondering if you’d ever be able to take it all. He seemed to read your mind as he spoke next.
“Don’t worry, I plan on us having a lot of practice with this later, but if you don’t let me put this condom on, I’m gonna cum all over your face, Frumoasă…”
You looked up at him and grinned as his cock jumped in your mouth, but you finally pulled off of him with a pop.
“I need to feel you around me when I cum love. S’all I’ve been dreaming of all week.”
Now his chest was heaving as he rolled the condom on, and he pushed you back onto the bed as his hand went to your core once again. You were even wetter than before and Bucky smiled at you, lining up and kissing you on the forehead as he began to breach your folds.
When he slid inside, your fingernails curled into his shoulders and your eyes grew wide. Bucky stopped, concentrating while his cock pumped, barely inside you.
“There is nothing. In the world. Like being inside your soft, wet, cunt.”
“Fuckkkkk!”
You became even wetter and he slid fully inside you. There, Bucky waited for you to get adjusted around him.
“So fucking tight. And hot. Just like I knew you would be.”
“More, Jamie!”
Smiling, Bucky started moving and you gripped him as he stroked in and out.
“Please don’t stop. Harder!”
Bucky grabbed the headboard and gave you what you wanted. His other hand pulled your hair and his strokes became more intense.
“Wanted to last longer, but I can’t, Baby. So beautiful. Pussy made for me. Cuming soon, but later… O să te fac să vii pe penisul meu iar și iar, Frumoasă. I never make a promise I can’t keep.”
You orgasm whited out your vision and your throat burned as you screamed. Bucky roared, filling the condom with copious amounts of cum. Your cunt was milking him and he hoped it would hold. He stayed sunk into you as long as he could before he had to get up and rid himself of the prophylactic.
He was only in the en suite for a few minutes as you floated in and out of sleep, lust drunk and exhausted.
Bucky climbed back into bed and got both of you situated under the covers, whispering in your ear.
“Stay tonight.”
“Of course. That was the plan, wasn’t it?”
Both of you chuckled, because you knew it was true. Bucky kissed your ear and waited for your breath to even out. When he thought you were asleep, he whispered again.
“I’m going to be a better man for you, Frumoasă.”
“You are exactly who you need to be, James Barnes. Just keep moving forward. Tomorrow is another day to do that.”
After a few more minutes, you spoke again.
“Tomorrow will only be a week that we’ve known each other. Imagine that.”
Bucky buried his nose in your hair, inhaling your scent.
“Guess I better wait until tomorrow to ask you to marry me.”
You laughed a sleepy laugh.
“You got jokes.”
“You know me, Frumoasă. A professional comedian.”
But somewhere in the dark of Bucky Barnes’ closet, a diamond found some light and sparkled.

I really love your fashion choice for your characters!!
How do you design the outfits on your oc, and what are your tips in character design?
Ooof~! I answered this one HELLA late (○ ⋏ ○)…
But here's the answer for anyone interested!
Tip Numero 1:
Have a clear description of your character’s personality and fashion sense. I guess this is pretty self-explanatory lol, but it’s very helpful! If you understand enough about how your character acts, you can get a pretty good idea of what type of clothes they’d wear~!
For example, my monster girly Amour and Peacock!
For peacock, I knew I wanted a bubbly cropped street look to match her personality. And adding rips and tears to give that quintessential zombie look added to how explosive her style and optimism can be.
Then we have Amour. She’s….. something alright! As a fallen cherub, I thought it would be cute if she wore a blazer to match the pure nature of where she’s from. But…. She is anything but pure. Despite this, I still gave her a cutesy pastel love core-esqe look, so it can be a bit of a subversion of expectations for her character. The type of person who looks like they wouldn’t hurt a fly, yet then proceeds to smash said fly into the ground with her weapon and keep beating it with a smile on her face even though the fly is far gone past tense- Ooop, got a little distracted there.
Tip Number 2:
What if you’re just character designing on the fly, and don’t have a concrete idea for this character yet? You know what helps? Drumroll please *drumroll*
PINTEREST~!
Now you gotta be careful with Pinterest since it’s notoriously known for taking people’s art and not crediting them. So if you’re using another’s artwork as REFERENCE (we’ll get back to this later) for an outfit, make sure to at least find them and give ‘em a follow. You can even put the artist’s name in the pin’s comment section.
Now back to the Referencing thing. When taking ANY pins from Pinterest, be sure you’re not straight up copying or tracing it, that’s not cool! What you want to do is find specific things that you’d like on your character, and very loosely reference it which means you’re gonna have to use that noggin and be creative~! I believe in you. Using color palettes online can also help spark inspiration
When you get your references, I usually put them in one place, using Milanote, which is an app on the AppStore. (If you can’t use that, just put the references on another canvas in your art program of choice). Here’s an example of one I made for my character Cyan:
Chippu Bango 3:
Trial and error. Look, you’re not always gonna get the winning design first try. Even to this day, there will be characters I made in middle school that I’ve redesigned 5 or more times to get it right. I mean… look at Peacock’s first designs:
Just don’t be too hard on yourself, character design is fun, but if it gets too frustrating, walk away for a bit and come back with fresh new eyes. You’re not gonna satisfy everyone with your design, but if you can satisfy yourself, that’s what counts~!
——————————————————-
That’s all I can say for now, let me know what you think of my techniques!
Byyyyieeeeee~! ( ꈍ ω ꈍ)ノ~ *:・゚

Inspired by or stealing?
Update: All the posts mentioned here have now been removed (February 24th)
Before I get into this I ask that if you reblog this, please go back to the original post to do so in case I need to update this post at a later time. I will also put this in my Instagram stories and archive them.
This is something I had hoped I wouldn’t have to post. But apparently giving people the benefit of doubt and a chance(or many) to do the right thing, means they’ll ignore it/you and just continue in the same manner.
Long story short, back in January I accidentally came across someone who seems to have systematically taken art they like, copied/traced it and passed it off as their own on Instagram. Like I told them, imagine my surprise when Instagrams top suggestion for me was what I believe is a traced drawing of mine. They’ve grown a fairy large following and gotten numerous likes under false pretense, all off of the work of other artists. The drawing I personally believe is copied from mine had over 3k likes before they turned off showing # of likes. Another post featuring a copy of a bamf-castiel sketch was liked by Misha Collins.
I didn’t want to share this without showing everything we have gathered about this. These are just the posts where we’ve been able to find the original art. There’s a good chance there’s more, but I can’t comment on other posts than these. A friend of mine actually found one more original art just before posting this, but we haven’t been able to confirm the original artist as of yet.
I wasn’t going to make a public post about this because frankly this whole situation makes me extremely uncomfortable. They claim they’ve done nothing wrong, but did delete some posts after I contacted the original artists I could get a hold of, who I assume contacted them directly to have it taken down. They also stopped posting new content which made me reluctant to take this public. However they’ve now made a new post that’s clearly traced as well (Loiseautattoo) and I can’t in good conscience keep quiet anymore.
Before they stopped answering my dm’s they told me this was all a misunderstanding and that they always credited which clearly is a lie. They also told me that I should tell them who to credit, to which I replied I’d assume they knew better than me who’s art they’d copied. I want to point out that a lot of these pieces have the name of the artist in the image itself so there’s simply no excuse. At this point it’s way past the point of missing crediting, this is stealing. Stealing someone’s art, ideas and lines, claiming it as their own and it makes me feel sad and disappointed.
I’m not making this post so people can go after them. Please don’t do that.
My goal is simply letting people know of the situation at hand so they can make an informed decision about whether or not they want to continue to like their posts and follow this person.
The images shows the original art first, middle shows original art overlaid their post with opacity lowered and the last is their post.
Left: Loiseautattoo, Aceriee, Dorodraws
Right: comparing my piece to their post
Left: Bamf-castiel, Quercusrubra, Brightfallenstars
Right: Calamity-Annie, Kougamishinyas, Hardcoremisery
Left: Feredir, anonymous artist, JackieD
Right: Pumkinet, Fidisart, Gio
The reason I’m making this likely too long post is that I want to educate people. Too many don’t care about crediting or supporting artists. Doing what this person does is not ok! You might get away with it when you don’t have many followers and a low number of likes. But if your account grows, more people will see and the likelihood of being called out grows exponentially. Tracing or copying another artists work does not fall under ‘taking inspiration from’ and saying ’credit to the artist/owner’ is not giving credit. You will be hard pressed to find an artist who hasn’t traced something at some point in their life, and tracing can be a great tool to improve your skills. But even if you’re super proud of the end result, it’s not ok to post it on social media, claiming it as your own by not stating specifically that this is traced and who or where the original is from.
If you enjoy looking at art and fan art I ask you to keep your eyes open. If you come across someone who post new art multiple times a day, or you notice they have very inconsistent styles in different drawings there’s a good chance that the owner of the account is not the owner of the content they post. If you find yourself suspicious, please do some digging, don’t accuse or call out anyone unless you are sure. And if you find these words hitting a bit too close to home; do better! Don’t steal from fellow artists! It makes me especially angry to see someone piggyback off of years of fanart stolen from within the community because we’re a small community and I admire every single person that have put the time and effort into making art that they’ve shared with the fandom over the years. And that is why I’m making this post even if don’t want to and it makes me highly uncomfortable to do so.

Hazbin Hotel and VivziePop Drama
I've been hearing/seeing a lot of drama concerning Hazbin Hotel and it's creator VivziePop, and while I don't know her personally or really care what people think, I do hate slander and the spread of misinformation. Truly nothing in this world upsets me more than when people believe rumours while making no effort to fact check, and that's exactly what's happening right now. That said, I wanted to try and clear up some of the rumours going around about Vivzie and the show, because I think some of them are absolutely outrageous and need to be addressed.
1. Vivzie hired an abuser onto the show.
Now, I’m not here to burn anyone at the stake, especially since I don’t know anything about Chris Niosi (the alleged abuser), who I believe openly admitted to the allegations? Regardless, this is a moot point. He’s not credited anywhere at the end of the episode. So either he was booted before production wrapped up or he had nothing to do with the show in the first place.
2. Vivzie supports bestiality.
Admittedly I thought this one might be true, since she draws so many anthropomorphic animals. In the very least, I figured she was probably a furry, but I haven't seen any evidence supporting this accusation either. Near as I can tell, this rumour started for two reasons. One, because of her famous Zoophobia comic, which revolves around a therapist named Cameron who gets assigned to work with human-like animals. Ironically, poor Cameron suffers from crippling zoophobia, which makes for some pretty decent comedy. I didn't read the whole comic because, quite frankly, it’s not my cup of tea and I just don’t have the time. But from what I saw there are no examples of bestiality anywhere in its contents.
Two, this message, which blew up all over social media:
To me, this just proves that people are more interested in virtue signalling than checking to see if their claims are actually true. Everything about this message is 100% false, which I’ll touch on in my next point.
3. Vivzie is a pedophile and she’s drawn child porn.
This is hands down the worst allegation and holy shit, I really wish people would stop using it to defame someone when they don't have any proof. This is a life-ruining accusation and you're disgusting if you believe it based solely on hearsay. This rumour began to spread when Vivzie allegedly shipped the two underage characters in the above photo and drew them NSFW-style. At the time, one character was 19 while the other was 14, and the relationship was a very illegal student-teacher relationship.
This is WRONG! The characters were not 14 and 19, they were actually 18 and 19, the legal age of consent! Additionally, the relationship wasn't student-teacher. One character is a student and the other is Alumni (a student teacher). This one pisses me off the most because it’s obvious the person who sent that message didn’t even bother to conduct any research. They said, “He’s a teacher, she’s a child.” Both characters are MALE!
Since then, Vivzie has apologised for any NSFW art she drew in the past and stated that it's not a reflection of her art today, and I'm inclined to believe her. Almost every artist has drawn NSFW content at some point in their career, and hers wasn't even distasteful. Other than this one example, there is no evidence anywhere that suggests she’s drawn “child porn”. In fact, she’s never even drawn explicit NSFW.
Please stop spreading this rumour. It’s dangerous and completely incorrect.
4. Vivzie said the "N" word!
No, she didn’t. It was a fabricated tweet. That is all.
5. Vivzie is copyright striking every video that criticises her!
No she isn't. YouTube’s DMCA is automatically striking people who are using full clips without permission. Vivzie has gone public several times, telling people exactly how to avoid getting a copy strike from the algorithm, which is something she absolutely does not have to do. At this point, she doesn't owe you anything. In my opinion, she should just sit back and watch these channels burn.
6. Vivzie copies and traces other artists’ work.
This is another one I’ve seen going around, but I looked into it as thoroughly as I could and failed to find any concrete evidence to support the allegations. As of right now, there are only two examples of Vivzie “copying” or “tracing” other artists’ work, and both of them can be explained. The first is a gif she made with a character from her Zoophobia comic, which looked a lot like the girl from ME!ME!ME!:
Damn, that’s pretty incriminating. She obviously stole-- oh, wait. This gif was part of a ME!ME!ME! MEP (multi editor’s project) and Vivzie didn’t take full credit, despite the fact that it’s not even a direct trace. It’s supposed to look like the original, which she fully cited. The second example comes from a short dance sequence from her Timber video, which seems to have been inspired by several Disney movies. As Vivzie herself stated, that was an homage to the original animations. Lots of artists and shows do this, including the beloved Stephen Universe series.
Regardless, this doesn’t count as stealing character designs or plagiarising someone’s work. It’s meant to be respectful, an admiration of other projects. Other than these two instances, however, there is no evidence of her tracing or stealing other people’s art. From what I’ve discovered, all other designs she’s been accused of “stealing” are characters she bought and paid for. They’re quite literally HER characters.
7. Vivzie supports problematic creators.
I’m getting really tired of guilt by association. Vivzie follows and enjoys some controversial figures, but who cares? We can argue all day about whether or not the accusations against them are true, but it ultimately has nothing to do with the show or Vivzie as a person. I do the exact same thing, to be honest-- follow and listen to people on all sides so I can learn, understand, and form my own opinions. The fact that some people think this is bad, to me, is absolutely mesmerising. Vivzie doesn’t control what the people she follows post, and if they do something overly questionable she publicly criticises and denounces it.
From Vivzie:
Now that that’s been dealt with, I’d like to address some complaints/claims about the actual show.
8. Vaggie is an angry Latina stereotype and a lesbian stereotype. Vivzie is appropriating Hispanic culture and misrepresenting the gay for profit.
First off, I see a lot of people passing around yet more misinformation regarding Vivzie's race. So many people seem to think she's white? Well, I'm here to tell you they're wrong. Very incorrect. Vivzie is in fact Latina, and Vaggie is meant to mirror some of her own personality traits.
Second, who is Vaggie mad at? Context matters, and if we take a look at the episode, we see that Vaggie is literally only mad at two specific people: Angel Dust and Alastor. Why? Well, for starters, it's her girlfriend's dream to run a rehab hotel for sinners, and Angel Dust nearly demolishes that dream single-handedly. Vaggie has every right to be over-the-top vitriolic. Then there's Alastor, a known sadist, narcissist, and murderer who loves trapping people in his nefarious schemes. He invites himself in, effectively takes over the hotel, and pushes both her and Charlie aside. At one point he even sexually assaults her by slapping her butt during his musical number. So yeah, I think her seething ire is totally justified. Keep in mind, however, that when she's around Charlie she's calm, collected, and happy. I wouldn't call that a stereotype.
Thirdly, the lesbian stereotypes. I keep hearing this argument but I really don't see it. Both Vaggie and Charlie have so much personality and trust for each other. Maybe I'm wrong, but the stereotype I know always totes a more butch, tomboyish woman with a ditsy, innocent, naive woman. Charlie is optimistic, but she isn't stupid. She refuses to shake Alastor’s hand because she knows he’s likely trying to screw her over. She’s also not entirely innocent herself and uses words like “fuck” and “shit”. I also wouldn’t call Vaggie butch or tomboyish. She has a cute, girly presentation, complete with a pink ribbon in her hair, lace stockings, and a dress. She's protective of her girlfriend, as I think we all are with our partners, and there's nothing wrong with that. They're flawed characters, as every character is meant to be. This isn't a problem.
9. The show is racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, blah, blah, blah.
I’m amazed this is even an argument. The show is supposed to be a dark comedy that takes place in HELL. You know, the place the worst of the worst end up after they die? What were you expecting? Everyone gets a shot or two fired at them, but that doesn't make them bad characters nor does it make the show itself horrible. Take, for example, Katie Killjoy, the news reporter so many people are up in arms about. She says she doesn’t “touch the gays” because she has “standards”. Well, here’s a newsflash of my own: we’re not supposed to like her! She’s an antagonist. Not to mention ten seconds later Charlie insults her and isn’t the least bit slighted by her pretentious attitude. The characters are strong and don’t take shit from anyone, because to some degree they’re all terrible people who can throw down when it’s called for.
Obviously if you don’t like the show or think it’s offensive, I’m probably not going to change your mind. That’s perfectly fine. You’re entitled to your opinions and you don’t have to watch the show. Just stop lying and stop trying to take it away from everybody else. Stop attacking Vivzie and spreading misinformation without checking the facts. I realise a lot of people probably aren’t trying to be vindictive and only want to do something good, but just remember this: the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

La Arrogancia De La Niña
Read Posts 1-3 titled Betty, My Betty to catch up to the character analysis that I will be talking about here.
A little background: After Armando dropped Betty off he went to Marcela's apartment. He seemed indecisive if he wanted to stay or leave as he walked towards the dining table and then towards the elevator, spun and went back to the dining room while we heard Betty's monologue.
At first glance I did think Armando pulled away from Marcela because he had just been kissing with Betty. Though we know that he has been able to kiss Marcela even when he's snuck off with his models, so it's not guilt. When he goes to brush his teeth he says that he can't be kissing Marcela after kissing Betty, that if she found out she'd kill him.
From the very few interviews that I have seen about the characters I remember Jorge Enrique saying that Armando is obsessed with perfection, especially in women and because of that he is very impatient with Betty because she doesn't fit that vision of his.
Armando isn't physically attracted to Betty, that's a fact and the reason why he lives in such denial but he still acts with deliberation.
Just because he is in denial about his feelings it doesn't excuse the things he does knowing exactly what he feels about them.
Armando earases Betty's trace from him in this scene and after that he no longer feels guilty, he stares at Marcela and admires her beauty. He kisses her telling her how he needed to see her, how badly he needed her to help him forget the horrors of the day.
In this scene what caught my attention was that he makes eye contact with her like nothing. With Betty at the office he struggled to make eye contact with her or hold it. The only time he managed to was when the topic was only about work but when the conversation was over he couldn't look at her or make eye contact for longer than a second with her.
With Marcela he's able to hold eye contact, conversation, touch her, kiss her, tell her how he needs her. This parallels allows us to understand the reason being that one relationship is only based on physicality while the other one is based on person/human connection.
When their scene for that night comes to a closing Armando and Marcela are kissing and he has his eyes open and the exact same expression he had with Betty. He closes his eyes for a second and they pull away and hug. He looks confused and then rolls his eyes and shakes his head.
Here he is now feeling the effects of the kiss with Betty. He kissed her sober. He felt something again and unlike before he can't excuse it for being drunk so when he now kisses Marcela and he realizes that he feels off or not like before, he chucks it for guilt and dismisses the topic from his mind.
Now that we've got this background let's proceed to the scene at hand.
Mario and Armando go to have a briefing about the previous night.
When you're writing dialogue(if it comes naturally to you) you don't pick and choose every word used and think about the impact it holds. That is why it's so important to know your characters and understand them before you start writing. It's important to understand their role, who they are, everything inside and out, and then writing comes naturally. Once you've learned to distinguish their voice, their tone in writing your conscious becomes invisible and everything comes from your subconscious. In the first draft you go unfiltered. You pour out your tears, your blood, you whole heart into it, and when you rewrite it to polish it you go into detail. You remove the bits that don't really make an impact and you find the words that really push your point across.
Writing is truthfully, in my humble opinion, the art that truthfully transfers you and evokes emotion like no other. I paint, I write songs, I draw and I do all these other artistical things but writing, the gift that I rejected for years, is the most comforting and the most beautiful of all arts. When done right you don't only make people travel among space and dimensions but you cause a huge impact in their intelectual person. A pen and paper are the most dangerous weapons.
You might be wondering why I'm even talking about this on this post but it's important to understand and credit the true mastermind behind this story as he wrote it by himself, be it at a rush with no time, with all the time in the world, money or no money, he wrote something that impacted an entire world and inspired change.
A ruthless man falls in love with a beautiful woman.
You can say "but Betty isn't beautiful." and that's where the message is lost. Betty is beautiful. Beauty, people often think is based on the physical appearance of something or someone but Beauty is the essences of something or someone. We don't look at the sunset and think it's only beautiful because of it' colors. We look at it and think it's beautiful because of its power, of it's essences, and it's presens. We are in awe of its magnificence and that makes it beautiful.
So Betty is beautiful.
Betty is deserving of love, kindness, respect, faithfulness, loyalty, and so so much more because she is utterly beautiful.
Fernando's intention was to teach us that. That beauty is not skin deep. Beauty is the heart of someone and their impact in the people around them.
Armando isn't beautiful at the start of this. He is an ugly human being but with qualities that make him passible. To find his beauty you have to really dig into him.
The true monster here is Mario, but Armando is guilty for simply allowing Mario to continue this way.
Mario asks him if they kissed and Armando tells him that he kissed her twice.
Let's start.
"Well you know what I ended up not liking? Come over here that I'm gonna tell you more" Armando stands up and walks to the double doors and stands under the door frame of his office and the meeting room. Mario follows him.
"Imagine that this woman last night got hooked on that I couldn't be crazy about her. That I couldn't be obsessed for her. That she doesn't have enough qualities for me to fall in love with her."
What does Armando's body language tell us? Like last night, it truly boggles or frustrates him that Betty says things. It's almost like if he found it an insult for Betty to insinuate these things. Here his hand is moving vastly in the air making points of what Betty told him, his is speaking fast and his tone is frustrating all of this indicates he is offended or angry that Betty would think that of him.
in short translation: How could Betty think that I wouldn't be attracted to her? Crazy about her? Why, am I just a stupid superficial man? Who only cares about women's bodies and not who they are as a person? That she doesn't have any qualities that would drive me crazy and be obsessed with her?
Obviously he isn't going to tell this to Mario or really himself either.
"Well she isn't naive. She's seen herself in a mirror." Mario jokes.
"Of course but I had to name a bunch of qualities to convince her."
"Qualities?" he whispers.
"Yes." he whispers aggressively.
"Tell me, that imagination and creativity of yours; What qualities did you have to tell her?"
Armando shrugs and starts to mumble incoherently and Mario interrupts him.
"And did they[she] believe you?"
"Well I hope so."
"Did you kiss her?"
"I said yes. I kissed her twice." He whispers annoyed.
"What did she say? Are you both dating? Did she accept that she's crazy for you?" Mario sounds too excited with the last questions which gives the impression that he likes to hear all of this which is just gross.
Armando gives us a micro expression of confusion, it seems like his hands are inside his pockets and he shrugs and shakes his head.
"Well man that's what's weird about it. I did tell her I was obsessed with her, that I'm dying for her, but she's not of me." Mario gasps, shocked. "That she thinks I'm a very interesting man, that she admires me a lot, that I've been real special with her for a lifetime but that no, that's the only thing she finds attractive of me." Armando's quick pace but without stutters or word fillers allows us to know that he is confident in what he is saying(he's thought about this a lot) but nervous about what it means.
Mario gasps again and tells him "Do me the favor. The arrogance of that girl. You almost don't convince her, you have to kiss her two times and after that she tells you, Hey, I admire you." Between this cluster of words we see Armando thinking hard. He really is bothered or worried about Betty not really showing an interest in him.
Our egos are a huge part of who we are. We want to be liked by people and accepted, it's part of our genetic makeup. We are sociable beings. Now, if I told my boss that I admired them and that they always treated be respectfully and respected my job I think my boss would feel pretty happy about that. It would boost his ego.
Armando however isn't acting like that. If he was truly unbothered by Betty and her feelings towards him(it isn't because of the plan) than he'd just chuck it in a bin and say he'll work on it. He's literally spent two days with Betty since the kiss, he wants Betty to be fawning over him now?
His ego is hurt, his man ego. He wants Betty to like him, to like him as a man and not her boss and it isn't because of the plan because if it were than the man would understand that steady wins the race but he's an impatient man who wants Betty on the same page he's in.
"Yeah, yeah, see I think she still has that guy Nicolas stuck in her head." (ARMANDO IT'S BEEN THREE DAYS, THREE DAYS! WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?)
"No." Mario whispers.
"Yeah and I don't like it at all. Look at what she left on my desk this morning."
Now they turn their backs to the office and face the meeting room. While Mario holds the chocolate bar in his hand he tells a worried Armando:
"Aw but how sweet. Now, see this is a good sign."
"Really? Is it? You think so?" he says hopeful.
"Aw, man, please."
"Really? It is?" he looks at the chocolate bar in Mario's hand and then stares off, concentrated, in what Mario is saying.
"Look this means she accepts the relationship?"
"Really?" he whispers hopeful.
"Now you have to consecrate-" Armando shifts, now he rest his hand on Mario's shoulder and starts to bite his thumb nail as he listens closely to Mario, the love guru. "You have to eradicate from her head and heart that guy Nicolas Mora, want some?" he asks after taking a piece of chocolate out.
"Yeah, keep going." he takes a piece out too. "keep going that I like what you're saying."
Here the opportunity he's been waiting for presents itself. Betty accepting the relationship gives room for him to remove Nicolas from her love life, therefore leaves him in the center of it.
"These ugly[women] like Betty are very romantic." Armando nods. "So then you have to create a routine of a boyfriend." Armando nods, agreeing. "You have to feed the illusion, you have to maintain the relationship alive." once again Armando nods in agreement and with his hands gestures that he wants to hear more. "because starting from this point on my dear sir you are now the boyfriend of Beatriz Pinzon Solano." Armando's eyes are wide, lips pursed together(could be because he has chocolate in his mouth) and hands in pickets, he turns to his left, away from Mario for a brief second and has a face of "Are you for real?"
"But but how will-what kind of gifts, things do you mean?"
"Look brother, romance is like a bonfire. If you don't feed it the passion extinguishes. It's that simple. We shouldn't call this a win. I think Betty isn't sure about how serious your are[about your feelings]. You have to work on her more, make her fall in love and you have to show her that this is something very serious, you understand me?"
"But what kind of job that I have to do?"
That's the end of that scene.
Later when Mario and him are talking how to go about with the gifts and romantic details we get confirmation(post Thank You...) that when it comes to the physical of it, Armando pictures AA instead of Betty.
From here once again we do get a clear understanding that Armando is confused and when he's not confused(very different emotions) he is in denial of it. He is worried about the company. Mario only ever brings it up when he sees that emotions aren't motivating Armando enough to continue with the plan.
I think it's very important to understand the intention of what we are being shown here. The writing is meant to help us understand what they are saying. Words, speed of speech, gestures, expressions, and body language help us determine what is actually being said.
When Mario suggest that he take Betty to some tavern or club instead of restaurants Armando says that he doesn't think Betty will like those.
I think we've all established that Armando does care about Betty and therefore I don't need to breakdown his behavior so much. We understand that he is going along with this plan because he wants to keep Eco Moda and Betty all to himself.
Mario, The Love Guru, Calderon takes advantage of Armando's ego and his confused state of mind as of late to play him like a fidel and for some reason still when Armando finally confesses his real feelings for Betty to him he acts surprised.
Armando isn't a saint. He still willinging went along with the plan to make Betty fall in love so when Betty asked him "what about me?" he showed his true colors of selfishness because he dismissed her feelings. He dismissed the potential heartbreak and downfall of a woman who has been exceptional with him, who he recognizes as exceptional and yet for his ego and his company he used her like a pawn, even if it was his favorite one, he didn't care.
For him right now Betty is just an object that he likes a lot and these scene show us that.
[EDIT: While yes I still think Armando still views Betty as an object, this next scene shows us that that is starting to change.]
As the scene continues Mario tries to downplay Armando's guilt by saying that he's basically doing charity work because no man, especially one like him[Armando] would ever be interested in, muchless court, a woman like Betty.
Armando goes to clarify what he's trying to saying.
"You don't understand what I'm trying to say. I'm going to end up causing her harm. See I can tell it's really easy to get her to fall in love. " Now we hear from that man of the hour, how he feels about Betty's kiss though he only describes the way she kisses him, his expressions and his tone of voices allows us to see that he likes her kisses and how they make him feel, however because he thinks she's "ugly" it's hard for him to understand this.
"Everytime she kisses me it's with such a tenderness, a sweetness, where she holds my face and stares at me with such an admiration, like if I were her idol." While he says he speaks of it with fondness and I must admit, lovingly.
He doesn't hate her kisses and he doesn't hate the way he feels about them. So he didn't wipe away Betty's kisses and brush his mouth because of Betty's kisses because he was disgusted. He did it for Marcela and her ego and his guilt because the kisses meant more to him than any other kisses he's ever given, that's why the first kiss was strange. That's why he is so confused about it but what stops him again from understanding the significance of these feelings is Betty's outer appearance.
This is now trekking away from the objectification of Betty to a more sentimental route where he no longer just views her as his possession but an actual person.
The moment Calderon jokes "It's because you are her idol." Armando shuts off, he stops trying to explain himself or his feelings and annoyed asks Mario what does he think of the whole thing then?
"When we recover Eco Moda, pay off our debts, and recover our money, what then? What happens to her? What happens with that relationship?"
"Well you do what you do with every girlfriend that becomes a burden. You fire her, you get rid of her."
Remember that Armando was willing to fire Claudia, until Mario made him feel guilty for the lecture he gave him about Aura Maria. Even then after Marcela asked for her head he didn't hesitate to talk to Hugo about it, who gave him a lecture about it.
However he was hesitant to fire Betty, even before there was any romance involved. He didn't want to get rid of her so now that Mario says that once she gives them back everything they can get rid of her Armando looks at him in disbelief and angry.
Armando really doesn't want to ever have Betty outside of his life and he can't imagine his life without her in it in someway or form.
Now, Patty goes in yelling, Armando shows up, kindly speaks to Betty while aggressively speaks to Patty.
Again this display's Armando's guilt but also his desire to make Betty happy by treating her well.

To clarify about my last answered ask:
I had reblogged a piece of art from someone, and then been informed that it looked traced from a popular Doc Ock artist. I wanted to give the op the benefit of the doubt, but it turns out that it really did look traced, and the popular artist had posted about it on their Twitter. I have since deleted my reblog and blocked the op.
I do NOT approve of tracing someone’s original work and posting it as your own, it’s just not fucking okay. I think being inspired by someone else’s style is totally valid and honestly a good thing, since it can help round out and further your own style. I also believe that tracing can absolutely be utilized as a tool to help one get better at art, but never as a way of stealing someone else’s original work and framing it as your own art.
Just don’t trace other peoples stuff and call it yours, it’s that simple.
~
If you disagree with me, or have issues with my stance on this, please unfollow/block me. I absolutely detest when people try to take credit for other people’s artwork, and I don’t want to be affiliated with anyone who thinks it’s an okay thing to do.
Also this is not an attempt to get people to go after the op, I don’t want that either. If you care about this issue like I do, please just block and move on.

lets talk about art theft versus inspired by. a small call out post
lets start this off with this is not my main account. and it is not linked to any of my main accounts. This is a throw away account for me to post venting things that I want to keep off my main feed. Come at me if you want. I most likely wont read it.
It’s okay to trace to learn a new style.
It’s NOT okay to trace and call it your own or post it without saying it is a direct trace.
It’s okay to use same poses as other artists
it’s NOT okay to steal other artists poses and trace them without credit or stating where your pose was from.
it is not okay to say someone has traced from you when you are a tracer yourself.
It’s even worse when you don’t even trace but simply cut away parts of one image and piece it wit other parts of other images. water mark them with your name THEN claim they are your own.
Here we have two “artists”. One stealing from the other who steals from in game content and calls it their own.
@/apprentice-chris/ @/the-traveling-apprentice
and
@/savenkey
are both guilty of this theft. Now Savenkey does do actual art and can draw on their own for the most part. But that isn’t what they are known for. Oh no. They are know for their edits of sprites via data collecting and merging with other sprite parts to make new sprites mixed with their own art. It is an art form of its own. But it’s also not crediting where the art is from, what was drawn uniquely, and where the alter came from. Also the original creators of the sprites are not credited.
lets have some examples now shall we?
this
Is just a mixture of these images mixed with their own art
Savenkey has made a call out about someone tracing their art.
https://savenkey.tumblr.com/post/619645537337131008/art-theft
now lets do some comparisons.
Savenkey says that its their art.
well that is not entirely true. Save has done some original work on the image, but the image is mostly made of image merging with other images that are then stretched to fit the body size.
here you can see where the original image ended and their drawing started. you can also see how the left arm piece is pixel-ed differently then the rest and there some cleanup work in the lines meeting the arm. The artist uses a mesh warp tool and warps the main image into the desired position. This is also done to touch up personal images to make a more “snatched” waist or thinner face if you want to think in photoshoping a personal selfie.
then if you over lap it, you can line up exactly where the coat is lined up and see there was just a small but of image stretching yet the painting keeping its style and structure.
and the face stays mostly the same with some mesh altered to adjust face to a new structure for the jaw, the eyebrow is also tilted to be less sneering glare to a more serine relaxed state. but its the same eyebrow simply tilted on the base. The closed eye is drawn in by the artist and you can see if you look closely at the way the pixels work.
then we have what was used by the open chest Lucio image that was used in several placed through the image. The hand in the hair and the armor on the shoulder. The images pixels do not match the others and you can see the artists lines where they made alterations to it but kept the base work intact.
also with the arm you can see where the image was taken apart to fit the body in the way the artist wanted to make the image fit. I had a lower quality version of the image so I didn’t have as good of images to work with. I don’t go into the games files and get the raw images like the artist seems to do for their content.
Moral of the story. One is a tracer of a image mixer. Both do things that artists hate. these both do take a lot of time, but they are a dishonest way of making art compared to people that sketch a base, line art it, paint it, repaint it, delete the image then continue the circle again and again.
Are they artists? well I have seen original works from Savenkey and know they do know a bit about drawing. But tracing and merging images is not exactly liked. I do enjoy what content they to post, but its kinda something I like to watch from afar because they seem to be using the games art and using it for clout instead of using their own talent and making original works of art.
The worse part is the fact that both these artists do not credit other artists and say they made it. That is when it becomes art theft versus modification.
so please, credit your sources. Post all you want of these modifications, that’s not the problem. It’s when its mostly merging and modifying a original image with little to no actual work of your own put into it that is the problem. Don’t be like these artists. It is not how you improve and gain a honest reputation.
I know this post is going to get flamed hard because the artist likes to send an army after people to provide an ounce of negative feedback. So flame away. it’s not going to be seen since I do not post on tumblr often to care.

Hey! Do you care if your art is used as a reference?
depends what you mean… like if you’re gonna trace it? don’t. if you’re just gonna copy my style for yer own gain? don’t. if it’s one or two of my techniques or something or the way I draw a char then by all means but if it’s notable I ask that you tag me in it! if you mean like. a ref for anatomy or something then go ahead but please know I myself don’t use refs (I wish I did and my art would be better for it, I’m just really lazy) so…you’re probs not gonna get the best result?
if you’re gonna do one of those Draw In Another Artists Style things then PLEASE YES 8 WANT TO SEE SO BAD
uhhhh no short answer on this one except that you know. I hope to inspire. but I have had a lot of private stuff around people taking heavy inspo from me and rn I’m kinda wary? you can do anything you want as long as you give credit where you think it’s due and tag me so I can see if you think that’s fair. it’s up to u. be cool abt it.

Crookshanksthecat: What are your thoughts on dragons? Do you like to draw them, and if so, how do you like to draw them?
*Clenches fist* Dragons are /awesome/
I like scribbling them even though I’m not very skilled at drawing fantasy creatures! I like wyverns the best because in my personal opinion their anatomy is more ~*~realistic~*~ compared to dragons with four legs + wings.
My preferred way to draw these scaly monster babies is to use real animals as reference and give them horns, wings etc. later in order to make them appear more fantasy-like. These guys’ designs were inspired by the armadillo girdled lizard(left) and velociraptor(right).
Lasagnafucker: how long have you been drawing for :O
I honestly have no idea but presumably I have always been kinda fond of drawing since my parents have /a lot/ of scribbles I made as a young child.
Deadfish: Do you mind if people use your art for reference/drawing off? Not to claim credit of your ideas of course but just as practice, I really love your artwork and style and think i could learn a lot from it. If not I totally respect that :> Thanks!
I’m sorry, but I would prefer people not using my art for that purpose. I don’t think a person would learn anything from using my drawings as reference, except for copying my style and doing the same mistakes I do with anatomy and stuff.
Thank you for asking first though!
(If somebody disagrees with me and think they’d learn something valuable by copying my art then please keep those studies to yourself – meaning don’t put them online or make money out of them. Also make sure you have lots of other artists’ work as inspiration fuel for your own art and style, otherwise we just end up drawing very similar things. Art world is cruel for ”copycats” and you might get in trouble for having too similar style with somebody else.)
Princeznadive: what of your works do you like the most? ^^
This one means a lot to me because it’s the first drawing of mine that got a lot of attention on social media. It felt very nice and motivated me to draw more, especially in this style.
Also I’m pretty fond of this thing I made when I was 6 or 7 years old. :P I still remember being insanely proud of how it turned out, even though I traced half of the drawing from a VHS cover haha(x). Since I was so pleased with it I was encouraged to draw more and more pictures aaaaaand here we are. Still drawing.
Guloguts: I read your FAQ and you said you sometime take requests! Ever considered drawing an orca/killer whale? O: No worries if not, I know you tend to draw fuzzier critters! Anyways, take care!
Sure, I still take requests(even though I haven’t finished much of them lately). I have drawn a few orcas before(x) but I’d like to give them another try later because orcas are effing cool and there is just not enough art of them. :[
Thanks, you take care too. <3
Anonymous: Do you plan to make any more Pokémon?
Yes, when I feel like it. I have promised to draw all of the eeveelutions at some point, I already have some sketches done and I’m hoping to finish them during 2017.
Fuzzwolf1: What Pokémon do you like?
Poochyena, Jolteon, Absol, Granbull and Mareep are some of my all-time favorites.
Hhhh this is getting super long so I’m gonna quit babbling for now. Sorry if I didn’t answer your question just yet, I’ll get back to replying later.

FAQ
Who are you??
I’m 24, nonbinary (she/them/whatever), bi, québecoise/french canadian
I’m currently working as 2D Artist / Animator for a mobile game company. I have diplomas in 2D & 3D animation, and I hope to make comics one day! For now I mostly only have energy to do fanart tho
By the way, feel free to call me out on anything, I’m aware that there are things I am not completely educated about. Trans rights, black lives matter, eat the rich, etc. I really appreciate when people point out that I’ve reblogged stuff from people I shouldn’t be interacting with so pls feel free to send a message if you notice anything.
What fandoms are you a part of?
Legend of Zelda, AtLA and LoK, Steven Universe, Critical Role, Adventure Time, Ghibli, She-Ra, Fullmetal Alchemist, Madoka Magica, and various other animated movies, shows & video games.
I also reblog a lot of illustration and concept art! It’s not rare that I’ll reblog fanart from something I don’t know just because it’s pretty :)
Do you take requests?
Art requests are currently CLOSED. You can still send suggestions to me at any time, but I can’t guarantee that I’ll take them.
Can I commission you?
Comissions are currently CLOSED. You can find my (outdated) commission info here.
Can I repost your art/share it on other social media/etc?
You can absolutely not repost it on tumblr (that’s what reblogs are for my guy) but I give you permission to share any piece of FANART I’ve made on other social media, with proper credit and a link to this blog. It would be cool if you told me about it, too.
Any type of original work I do has to stay on this blog and my art blog exclusively (but you can reblog it of course).
And obviously you can’t claim any of my art or any modifications made to my art (such as tracing it) as your own. You also cannot make a profit with my art in any way (like selling tshirts or prints). That’s just basic human decency. Thanks!
Can I use your art as an icon, phone background, etc?
Yeah of course! I don’t mind at all. Anything that I make can be used for personal purposes (like I said in the previous question, as long as you don’t make any money with it, I don’t mind). Credit is always appreciated!
What art program do you use?
Photoshop babey
When I animate (which is extremely rare these days) I use Harmony/After Effects. Sometimes just Photoshop if it’s a very simple thing.
What kind of tablet do you use?
I’m bumming my job’s Intuos pro (work from home perks)
What animation school did you go to?
I took two different courses (Traditional (2D) Animation and 3D Animation) at Cégep du Vieux Montréal; you can find the website here (it’s all in french though).
Do you have any art tips/animation tips?
Really quickly my top tips would be these:
- Most of what you draw will look bad, that’s normal, just move on and draw something else, it’ll look good eventually. Erasers and ctrl+Z exist for a reason
- Know when to stop working on something and call it finished, you’ll never make it look exactly like you wanted, it’s fine. Everything is a learning experience. Don’t beat yourself up for what you didn’t do, be proud of what you DID do
- I say this with all my heart (and this is mostly for students but applies to all) please take care of your body. Sleep, drink water, try to have good posture, take breaks, etc. My hand is fucked up now and I have a lot of mental health issues from pushing myself a lot in school. Seriously. There is NO need to be the best. You are fine the way you are!! Just keep practicing and be proud of what you did.
- There are millions of wildly talented people all over social media and comparing yourself to them constantly Will fuck you up. You don’t have to stand out, you don’t have to be them. Appreciate what they do, get inspired, but focus on yourself!
I gave a lot more tips to people since I started this blog, and you can find them all here!
Do you have good art blogs to recommend?
Here’s a masterpost!
I don’t see my question here. Can I ask it now??
Yeah dude go for it. You can also go through my answered asks if ya want, you might find your answer there.

1.
Fear is the thing that keeps me rooted in one spot. It is the answer to failures of mine, the cause of my stagnancy, the reason for my reliable, easy, monotonous nine to five. Yes, this is all fact, because if there is one thing I am good at, it is and has always been (almost crippling) self assessment.
My fear, it keeps me in a routine: I wake. Shower. Dress. Eat the same breakfast of scrambled eggs and toast, take a multivitamin and an iron pill, ride the same public transit to and from work, come home at approximately the same time, watch the same clock until I tire and go to bed from boredom. I wake too soon, stare at my dark ceiling, go back to sleep fitfully, wake and repeat. Nothing accomplished. The weather changes; I do not. The time changes; I do not. My friends get married and travel, post photos with friends across social media platforms; I make my way through a couple seasons of television shows, retain nothing, gain weight, avoid mirrors.
Everything changes; I do not.
I will admit there is a slight comfort in my fear. It holds me back, yes, but there is also a safety inside, which is kind of nice when I think about it, I guess. I mean, I’m often bored as shit but a lot of things are steady. I live for steady. I live for knowing what will happen, I live for structure, I live for a fully functioning, organized, dependable life. I can’t lie, that is that shit I do like.
But also-
I feel like I’m dying.
Please don’t. I recognize how dramatic that sounds.
Listen, my fear is multi-faceted. It’s terrible and pleasantly predictable and through some self appointed Quiet Time™, I know it's misplaced. I can not trace its root back to one specific thing, and I can’t explain how it became this way, how I have become so immersed in fear, anxiety and mild paranoia that I’ve stopped doing the things that once made me very happy. It’s a very corny relationship.
I want to create art but I don’t. I want to write or sing or direct or act or something, but I don’t. I fret. I stay away. I open and close documents, scroll through Twitter, feel disappointed in myself. I go see shows and cry afterwards because I see what I could be. I am confused because I feel like I don’t love anything anymore and I’ve outgrown everything. I pay bills and take care of my parents and don’t think about art at all. I won’t pick up a book like I won’t answer a call because I can’t take reading the words and have them speaking to me. My mind is television static. How did living become this way?
Perhaps it was growing up and realizing the intricacies and hard work of craft and seeing that sometimes all that shit doesn’t pay off in the end. Perhaps it is the lack of time I have to create- I work a lot and I depend on myself and sometimes the focus isn’t there because I’m worried about starving or being evicted or if my phone will be cut off and my mother can’t reach me. Perhaps it’s both and everything and nothing at all but laziness. I don’t know. I mean, I’ve given myself to art before and it didn’t completely suck. The things I have done and want to continue doing are things that I have done at least once or twice, enough to spark something within me that feels like it might be a calling. I have not totally bombed at the things I have attempted, and the practice, rehearsal and subsequent trials and errors have made me happy. Extremely happy. Proud. I felt capital L Liberated. What tops that feeling of everything sliding into place and feeling whole for bits at a time? Not shit. I told you I live for a dependable life, a slice of something sure. That’s what it felt like sometimes.
But once and twice do not a lifestyle make. People say third time’s the charm but I often feel like third times the break. The humiliation, the doubt, the heartbreak. People count to three and then it’s go, it’s jump, pivoting pivoting pivoting, taking off. At my three, the only thing I know for sure is that I’m a fraud and I am a liar. The Phoney Baloney. I have faked my way through parts one and two, but part three? I should know better by three, shouldn't I? Shouldn't I have it together, whatever “it” and “together” means? Shouldn't I be ready for commitment? I try not to converse with the What Ifs of the world, for those are things out of my control, and I am the only thing I can try to control, and most times that’s barely.
Yet I end up opening myself to What Ifs when they crawl to me in the midnight hours:
What if I give all I have to give, all of myself, and no one bats an eye?
What if I'm so good, so moving and intriguing, so popping, that the expectation to deliver a repeat performance causes me to stutter and trip, and I fall from the tightrope, net not included?
What if I never do anything at all, I get stuck in the same place forever and ever and ever and ever, I am trapped and defeated like a wild animal left to the metal jaws of life, and become not only the living fucking embodiment of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car", but also That One Cousin. You know That One Cousin. The example your mom always brings up. The subject of mother-and-aunt-coffee-at-the-kitchen-table talks. The reason for the sigh followed by the drawn out, "Bless her poor heart." No one wants to be That One Cousin, they want to be The Other Cousin. Designated Cool Family Member. They have it under control, they make the family proud, got a little pocket change and handles some of the expenses.
What if I'm never Designated Cool Family Member?
This is why I try so hard to keep the What If conversations to a bare minimum. Yes of course I know the What Ifs have optimistic perspectives and outcomes- what if you succeed and everybody loves you and you love yourself and you're happy; what if you get lost briefly but along the way learn a lot and are better for it; what if you already are The Other Cousin, the embodiment of a bad bitch and 85% of Beyoncé lyrics- but my mind is wild and unreliable. I do not trust her to keep me safe at times. I do not rest. I toss and turn, wondering if I will ever get out my dreams, stuck in a bizarre tug of war with my doubts and my hopes, my dark anxiety and my good truths, my perfect worlds and my very real realities. And no matter what I do, I feel my fear gets the best of me every time. It tires me out. It holds me close. It is both a leash and a seat belt, a sick contraption, a well tailored harness.
I must make it clear that I do not wish to relieve myself of all fear. A little of it keeps me alive and reminds me that I care more deeply than I can verbalize or express. I only wish to lighten the load enough that I can go to sleep at night. I wish to give myself a break and some credit, a hug and a kiss and a good night's rest. I do not want fear sleeping beside me like a cold lover stealing the duvet, I want it at the foot of my bed like a furry canine companion. I want it to be an interesting part of my life, not my whole life. I don’t want to conquer my fears or completely rid myself of them; I want them to keep me warm with inspiration and drive. I want success. I want to mean something to others. I want to mean something to myself. I do not want to die broken and speechless, sitting atop the bones and corpses of things I never did or words I never wrote. I do not dream of being rich. I dream that I will not starve myself to death, that I will always be full with ideas and friendships and laughter and good meals. I dream of pleasure, of hard work, a dance down the golden path to rich hedonism. I do not want my fear to be my entire home, only a quick set of stairs to a door that leads to something bigger and better than me.
Fear is the thing that keeps me rooted in one spot. I wonder when that will no longer be the case, or if I am even ready for that. I wonder if it’s by choice or by circumstance or both. I said I was good at self assessment.
Maybe.

Sleeping Dramaturgy: Henry C Krempels @ Edfringe 2017
THE SLEEPER: Or What Happens When You Ask Them To Leave?
In Association with Arcola LAB
An intimate moment played and replayed in the mind of a journalist who doesn’t know if he’s searching for a story.
the Space @ Jury’s Inn
4 – 12 August @ 11:40am
14 – 19 August @ 10: 30am
21 – 26 August @11:40am
“Darkness can do strange things to your mind. It’s so easy to make a mistake"
Set on an overnight train somewhere through Europe, The Sleeper: Or What Happens When You Ask Them To Leave, weaves together real testimony from Syrian refugees and the personal experience of writer Henry C. Krempels who draws from his unusual story commissioned by Vice Magazine at the height of the immigration crisis.
Karina, a British traveller, naively reports a woman sleeping in her bunk. Forever connected to each other by this simple action these two women are played and replayed in the mind of a journalist who examines the stories we tell each other and how we choose to tell them. Dark, weird and unusual, The Sleeper describes a situation familiar to the thousands of refugees who become stuck somewhere between leaving home and finding a new one. Enveloped in the tension that exists between absolute strangers, they hope the less they reveal about themselves the less obvious their differences become.
What was the inspiration for this performance?
I was commissioned by VICE Magazine in 2015 to write a piece about the train journey from Milan to Paris which was being used by refugees coming up through the south of Italy and into France, often going on to Calais.
I took the train maybe a dozen times over the period of about a year and met loads of people with lots of stories they didn’t want to tell me. One night, I came back from the restaurant carriage, and found someone asleep in my bed. Someone else in the carriage, he was in the top bunk, shouted at her in Arabic and she bolted up, look at me for a second and pushed past me out the carriage, down the corridor and out of sight. I lay in the warm bed and thought about who she might have been and what I might have done about that. These two questions have obsessed me since then (I’ve even tried to find her) and the play is for her.
Is performance still a good space for the public discussion of ideas?
The theatre, as in the building, is a good space for discussion. Performance is for something else. For provocation, maybe? I think performance, especially when it’s live, is about other people. When it comes down to it, it’s just people watching, isn’t it? And when you’re watching, I don’t know that you discussing, you’re reacting. I think those two things can be separated. I think our job is simply to remind people they are human.
How did you become interested in making performance?
I went to the theatre once. I think it must have been the first time, definitely one of the first times. I was probably 8? Maybe 10? It was a school trip. I don’t remember the play, I think it was a pantomime. I remember it was colourful. About halfway through the piece I laughed. We all laughed. The whole room laughed, and we laughed hard.
So hard, in fact, the child next to me, my friend, I’ll call him Matthew, laughed the hardest, from somewhere deep in his stomach. The laughed flew out of Matthew in the form of shit. It was diarrhoea. There was lots of it. It must have taken him by surprise and he squirmed around in his seat trying and see exactly what just had happened. The diarrhoea made its way out both the top and bottom of his shorts, down his leg and onto the red velvet. He started crying and someone took him out the auditorium.
For the rest of the play I sat next to an empty, shitty seat and I think, at that moment, something deep inside me made me want to do that to someone one day.
Is there any particular approach to the making of the show?
I arrived at the table with interviews, notes and pictures. We workshopped the ideas (and in fact have produced a workshop alongside the production), developed it, did some scratch performances, but really, it took quite a conventional route to the stage - it was written as text with scenes and dialogue. It contains other people’s words but it could never be classified as verbatim. Hmm. Actually, maybe it could.
Does the show fit with your usual productions?
In the sense that it has a writer. I tend to write things (including prose) that has some foundation in reality. By which I mean, it comes from the place you might call Non-Fiction. I’m interested in the line between real and not.
Journalism is particularly fertile ground for this, but also the way we tell each other about ourselves and the things we care about, and, well, now I’m thinking about it, this play is exactly like all the others.
What do you hope that the audience will experience?
The shit thing?
What strategies did you consider towards shaping this audience experience?
Difficult to answer that question now, sorry, but I think the main thing I think about—it’s not a mantra, I promise!—is that the audience are not passive and as soon as you start thinking of them as passive, by which I mean, not in the present, here, today, with their lives as they are, in the place they are, then we may as well not do this. I think you have to know why here and why now (I know I’m not the first person to say that it’s true).
