‘sexuality is a spectrum’ is a very obvious direct attack on homosexuality. frankly, it’s just pure anti-gay rhetoric. homosexuality is the attraction to your own sex. lesbians are female homosexuals, women exclusively attracted to other women.

if you like dick or any part of the opposite sex, you are not a lesbian, you are bisexual. lesbians do not like dick!! to say otherwise is lesbophobic and erases the biological reality of lesbians. you imply that there’s no way women can have fulfilling, romantic relationships with other women. you’re a lesbophobe. you can deny the truth and do your mental gymnastics all you’d like, but i’m not nursing your delusions.

We need more people like you in the wlw fandom space tbh. I've been too coward to say anything but I agree that it has become so dick obsessed. I've seen countless fanarts/ fanfics of Vi, Caitlyn, Sevika and Abby riddled with them and it makes me so uncomfortable. In the sapphic space we should be focused on vaginas. Why does that genital have that importance in this space when we already live in a phallocentric society.

absolutely. i know there are tons of other women who feel like we do, and it’s incredibly infuriating that we’re constantly pushed to accept the erasure of our attraction. when there’s finally good representation of masc or butch women, people will turn around and pretend they have a penis—it’s maddening, especially when that character is not heterosexual. it is blatant misogyny and lesbophobia.

it’s heartbreaking that lesbians, and even bisexual women with a strong preference for women, are silenced. you can’t even publicly declare your (strict) attraction to female genitalia without being ostracized and slandered with derogatory terms.

it’s an overtly hostile environment for lesbians and febfems. we are no longer allowed to unapologetically celebrate our attraction; we’re expected to shut up and accept the invasion of males and phallus in our spaces, even while being online.

lesbians are slowly being erased, and lesbophobia is on an extreme rise. i urge you and anyone who also feels this way to speak up against this because the real life erasure has long been infiltrating fandom culture.
