If you've been on my blog for awhile, you've probably seen them before, but these are the current finished versions P:

the blushing on Arthur's neck got a little messed up from the move, so please ignore it (I tried to blend in photoshop so hopefully it's not too noticeable) >.> it's too humid where I live now to do much about it and I probably won't be able to do any more tweaks on them until I can take them back to Colorado.

It's really been a journey with these two. I've had to redo them each a couple times--Arthur more than Alfred, his sculpt was a lot less cooperative and the dark eyebrows are tough to balance out since I was kinda going for a more natural look and also keep his skin very fair.

I am EXTREMELY proud of Arthur's freckles and the fact that I was able to change their skin tones a little despite a) not having a sprayer of any kind to apply blushing and b) they have the same color sculpt.

I love their eyes and I love Arthur's wig, Alfred's I'm less happy with but it'll do for now XD I don't have any glasses for him, unfortunately, I might try to fashion some with wire because I think I can do that much.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this project. They do need better clothes and accessories and some shoes XD but these are all troubles for later, when I can afford to put more work and, more pressingly, more money, into it.

Considering I had never done anything even close to a bjd face up before them, I am quite proud of myself.

*Disclaimer I am not a bjd enthusiast really, I wanted these dolls for this specific project so I'm not well-versed in bjds in general.

The dolls are from DollIOS -Alfred's Sculpt: "Valentine" -Arthur's Sculpt: "Nova"

Materials: -Faber Castell soft pastels -Winsor Newton Watercolor Colored pencils -Mr Super Clear Flat UV sealant -assorted make up brushes -the eyes from DOLLines, I couldn't find any others to match her quality -the wigs are from dolkstation and the clothes were gifts from a former friend -patience -tears -cries of frustration -self-restraint to not throw doll heads across the room at times -determination -love

*They don't have lashes because I can't be arsed P: I think they look fine without them.

I‘m so happy!! Thanks to Christina from @newcloversinging my Frank‘n‘Furter comes true! I had some problems with my order from DF-H and almost wanted to give up this project (they sent absolut wrong outfit and shoes didn‘t fit etc.). Christina helped me to get an outfit and wonderful shoes so I can complete him one day. Fresh from a visit to the spa aka a vist to @meanae, 💗meet H.eiss! (Yes that's really his name, and I know what it means, it's an in joke that stuck when we were figuring out what to call him lol)

After waiting since 2009 to put this guy together and reselling him once after I bought a doll to be him, meet Neo's beloved and protector and the first character I roleplayed against (his character belongs to an old rp partner, I got permission to get a doll of him, don't worry.)

I love him! He still needs his piercings and he shouldn't have a wig this long but I don't care. I love him! Can't wait till his clothes get here. 🥰😍😍😍

Und schwuppdiwupp ist Februar... Erster Post für 2022, Schande über meine Muse. 🙈 Immerhin hab ich den Frühjahrsputz schon hinter mir und meine BJD Kisten sind auch ausgemistet.
