Whenever he looks at you he can't help but feel a certain tingle in his chest. As if he knew you, you gotta be.. There's no way he'd be this weak in the knees to a lowly orphan like you

Your demeanor, your way of thinking and speech patterns, he recognize it but you can't be them, they're long gone, a haunting memory of his past he choose to let go.

He has gone colder, no longer that naive boy who would set the town in flames with that brazen attitude, a relishing feeling he wants to come back, where he'd hold a close hand and paint it all red for them..

Like the color of their eyes, their still aura and that pale figure. He felt like drowning, when he looks at you he felt like clawing you down with him, he hated it, he hates it that it digs itself deeper into his mind.

Hatred, betrayal, sadness, he felt lost without them, the moment they disappeared it all set him down to this path, of course a long way road out of this hellhole is no heaven. Of all the things he had to lose, he had to lose them.

"Bailey.." He freeze, your voice snapping him out of his thoughts as his eyes burns hole into your gaze as he scoffs and crossed his eyes. "Finally here to pay your dues? About time." You slowly make your way to him as you put the money down at his desk.

He hastily grabs it and starts flickering each paper, counting it's high value cents. "How are you?" He doesn't indulge himself in mediocre small talks, he can't help but bit his cheek inside, there was this feeling, a feeling that he should answer it. Would he?

the glitchy text in Chapter 3 is fixed (it now works! if you have the setting turned on)

MelS wrote quite a bit this week too! We've passed 8k words.

I don't have any substantial story update to give yet... but I've still some a tiny bit of coding work:

Some visual issues are getting fixed (similar ones to TTATEH + others).

2 new fonts will be included: a monospace and Atkinson Hyperlegible.

I am also adding Keybindings to the main story (the Codex Pages will be a bit tricky, as of now they won't work) for computer play.

I will be changing the code for the notification to a more aria/screen-reader friendly (and there's a lot of them)

A big bug found in the last update of TTATEH has turn up in CRWL too, so that's getting fixed...

Some other bugs raised lately have to be checked out...

OH and the biggest thing: I am adding custom pronouns AND give the choice for the player to choose their title (liege, lord, lady) regardless of their genre :D

Anyway, the Settings, the whole Prologue and Scene 1 is clear. I have started Scene2. Going through the scenes is a bit dull and repetitive (there's 1.5k lines of code for each scene on average), but I am chipping away at it.

Nothing big actually. Just added 2 fonts : a Garamond like and the Atkinson Hyperlegible.

No I haven't forgotten P-RIX. I've been fighting its code all this time...

Anyway, the UI will be changing slightly to give more space for the text (less scrolling, especially on bigger font sizes). The background has also changed (especially the stars looking less like rain, lol). And the radar actually works this time too!

And I've been testing a Mobile portrait version (finally!), which will not include the background, but will be much easier to play!

OH MY GOD IF THIS WAS THE CASE THEN LILY(My PC)'S BACKSTORY IS LITERALLY CANON

Have you ever wonder why Ivory Wraith mess around/find out with PC even when you literally haven't touch the necklace or trespassing on a blood moon? Why it'd still stalk you on the street out of nowhere just to give you that little bit of trauma and stress for funnies?

Beside the fact in the Schism event that Ivory Wraith is closed with another initiate, who's subtly hinted to be PC in their previous life. This relationship, however, was not explicitly confirmed what it was. Depends on your interpretation, they could have been a friend/crush/lover/spouse of Ivory. We don't know yet.

One thing we DO know, is that even after witnessing and dying in such cirtumtances, staying who knows how long under the lake, no doubt Ivory's mentality was fucked, and though it might have forgotten many things, it was clearly still hanging on to two things: the necklace and the memories of the initiate that's closed to it when it was alive.

Now imagine this: someone who's very dear and important to you passed away, and then after some time, an imitator with the same appearance shows up and does all sort of stupid shits, steals things right infront of you. Would you be at least, a teeny tiny bit, feels like you need to fuck with them out of spite? Yea, I thought so.

Even if PC turns out to be that initiate, I can tell there's no way they could be exactly the same person, despite many similarities. Think about how mocked and utterly pissed off Ivory must have felt when the very reincarnation of their friend/crush/lover/spouse, who they used to loved so much, just swam down and took away the last possession they have left, nosy and ignorant while doing so.

It's insulting to both Ivory and the person they held in their memory.
