Give It Up (AG version) Victorious Cast
Say Ok Vanessa Hudgens
Ultimate Lindsay Lohan
Something Like A Party - Korean Version
Teasers
There were four teasers released, one for each member.
Moxy’s Teaser - Moxy was running around the city putting up flyers about the party. At the end, the camera focuses on her slapping a flyer on a light post. The camera clearly catches what the flyer has written on it. It says “Want something fun to do tomorrow, come to this address to get your invitation. Moxy looks at it with a smile then walks away. As she walks of some people see the flyer and take picture of it, the ‘la da da da’ part of the song plays in the background.
After the SM logo, a clip of Moxy ordering a drink from a food cart plays while a black tendril of smoke smooths out a flyer on the side of the cart
Hannah’s Teaser - Hannah runs around the house putting up decorations alone. She’s blowing up balloons, hanging streamers, spreading confetti across the floor and hanging lights. Hannah takes a glance around and smiles. As the SM comes up, the ‘la da da da’ part plays.
The stinger clip shows Hannah sleep on the couch while smoke tendrils straighten out some streamers above her.
Juno’s Teaser - Juno is in one the rooms, trying to put together outfits. She’ll set the clothes out on the bed but frown and throw the clothes away. Different combinations come together only to be thrown to the side by an unsatisfied Juno. Juno drops onto the bed, piles of clothes surround her. She looks to the side at the closet and see a set of clothes. Juno smiles, finally finding and outfit that works. The teaser ends with the ‘la da da da’ part and the SM logo.
The ending clip shows Juno scrolling on her phone as a black tendril steams her outfit.
Aurora’s Teaser - Aurora stands looking at a tall building with a canvas sack next to her. Aurora huffs and makes her way into the building. Clips of Aurora making her way up the stairs in various stages of fatigue. She finally makes it to the rooftop. She drags the bag to the edge. Aurora opens it, revealing the invitations that lie on the inside. Aurora glances down and sees a sizable crowd. Aurora proceeds to dump the invitations over the side of the building. People are jumping and grabbing the invites out of the sky. Aurora leans on the edge taking a breather. The camera pans up to the sky and the “la da da da’ part plays and the SM logo appears.
A white tendril pushes the logo out of the way and shows the invitation to the screen telling the fans when the music video will be released and where they can watch the debut showcase.
Outfits
All of the girls outfits appeared in the Juno’s teaser video. Juno threw each one to the side.
School Uniforms - these were the main costumes from the video. The jacket and skirt were grey with white button down shirts. The girls wore ties in the signature colors: Moxy - green, Hannah - blue, Juno - pink and Aurora - purple. They all wore converse for the shoes, also matching their ties. SM created fake NCIT school logos that were on the jackets
Jeans - this one has all the girls wearing light wash in various cuts. their top and shoes were matching the girls signatures colors once again.
Gym outfits- SM used the NCIT school logo again for these gym outfits. The colors for these outfits was white, grey, black and lime green (NCT’s color). Moxy wore sweatpants and a NCIT school shirt cut into a crop top. Hannah wore a cropped NCIT shirt with lime green workout shorts. Juno wore black leggings and a green NCIT cropped hoodie. Aurora wore a grey, cropped NCIT hoodie and biker shorts.
Here are two more costumes the girls wore: The costumes they wore for their separate teases and a black and white one(Moxy and Juno wore black, Hannah and Aurora wore white)
Music Video
In the video, the girls are performing while welcoming their guests into their home for the party. Moxy is seen greeting guest. Hannah is taking coats at the door. Juno is mixing drinks and Aurora is setting out food. Nobody questions the black and white tendrils that are DJ-ing the party. A group of partygoers take a selfie with the one of the tendrils throwing up a peace sign.
Once the last guest enters, the girls run upstairs and change clothes while the first chorus plays. As the second verse starts, the girls make their grand entrance as the crowd cheers. Hannah plays a dance game with partygoers. Juno is fist pumping with the crowd on the dance floor. Moxy is helping people put on various glow in the dark jewelry. Aurora turns the lights down with a smirk. More clips of the girls having fun with the crowd of party guests plays thru the second chorus.
When the bridge starts, the girls clear the floor and get in formation. The video ends with the girls slaying the choreography as the crowd cheers for them.
After the SM logo appears, a new video starts showing the outside of the house where the party was. In the front window, you can see the girls silhouettes. Suddenly, a bright white light flashes throughout the house. When the light fades away, the girls are gone.
Some shots showed the girls performing in a warehouse painted with graffiti. These shots were from the performance video of SLAP.
BTS
The girls filmed this video in Chicago. The parents of the girls banded together to get the girls and their staff’s food for the shoot.
After the three day shoot, the girls were given a day off. The members and their managers went around the city, sightseeing and shopping. The girls spent the night at Moxy’s home where her mom cooked a huge meal for the girls before they flew out back to Korea (In Moxy’s case, back to where ever 127 was for their next concert).
SM had AG’s debut showcase at their theater. The crowd was packs the girls individual fan bases. The girls performed Give It Up, Ultimate and SLAP. Doyoung and Jaehyun hosted the night, helping the girls loosen up in front of the packed crowd.
At their debut performance, Some of the older members showed up to cheer the girls on, Mark tagged along to support Aurora.
The girls posted several video to their brand new YouTube channel to go along with the promotions
A pajama dance practice
A dance practice where the girls had to pick names and whoever they got was who picked their outfits for the video
A music video reaction
A video demonstrating how to do the key points of the dance
A series of videos showing the whole process of the group being formed called, Creating AG. Every video included interviews of the girls talking about every aspect of AG become an official NCT group
Every nct unit posted a video of them reacting to the video and every member had positive comments, During 127′s reaction, Taeyong couldn’t help standing up and dancing along. Dream made comments asking if the drinks were non-alcoholic. Kun and Ten repeating over and over how proud they were of Hannah’s performance in the video.
the lead b-side chosen was Ultimate. During the performance, the girls choreography involved moments of the members fake playing instruments. At the showcase the girls reveal which instruments ever girls played: Moxy = guitar, Juno = keyboard, Aurora = Bass and Hannah = drums.
For the most part but every track from this mini album had a live performance. The one to go most viral was the first performance of all four girls singing the new version of Give It Up with Hannah’s inclusion. nctzens loved the choreography for Jumpin’ because of the double tricks that were weaved in.
On the girls weekly idol episode, the girls did a random play dance with only boy group songs. Fans and non-fans were surprised at the girls performance, especially because they got it right in one take.
This era of Ag was the beginning of the MoNah ship (Moxy x Hannah). Hannah, while she had debut with WayV already, hadn’t performed on music shows yet. She stuck close to Moxy’s side finding comfort in her same age friend. Fans found it cute how the two girls stuck to each other.
The girls didn’t win a music show awards this time around. Fans of the girl vowed to get the girls a win during their next promotions.
All the girls were fatigued during SLAP promotions. Hannah was coming off Take Off promotions for WayV. Aurora was already getting ready for Dream’s comeback. Moxy couldn’t really rest because after promotions, she was joining 127 back on the road for the groups concert. Behind the scenes videos showed Moxy resting as much as she could.
All the fans made sure to cheer the girls on giving their energy in a effort to charge up the girls as they continued to power thru performances

Members may earn 3 points each (up to 6 points) for writing, by the end of January 7 KST:
A solo para of 400+ words based on their monthly schedule (does not count toward your monthly limit).
A thread of six posts (three per participant, including the starter) based on the monthly schedule.
Threads and solos do not have to take place directly during an important date listed on the schedule, but must be related to what the muse is mentioned to be doing in the paragraph explaining their schedule/the company’s schedule for the month and/or their thoughts on the mentioned activities or lack thereof.
These schedules may be updated throughout the month if new information needs to be added.
Reminder: November schedule posts are due by the end of December 7 KST.
Overall Company
CEO Kim has been around less this year, supposedly to focus on fatherhood, but he’s made his presence very known with a less minute insistence that all of his idols attend a large birthday party he’s throwing for his fiance, Seri, for her 41st birthday. He’s the CEO and it’s impossible to say no, so all BC idols will be expected to attend Seri’s party, thrown in a luxury hotel ballroom in Seoul with a semi-formal dress code. The party will be in the evening and will not interfere with Shared Home cast members’ picnic filming that day. At the party, the couple will announce they plan to finally wed after three and a half years of engagement in February of 2020. Some photos from the event are planned to be released to the public.
Important dates:
December 3: Ma Seri’s 41st birthday party in Seoul, South Korea.
BC Soloist 1
Awards season continues with the Mnet Asian Music Awards within the first days of the month. She’s not big enough for BC to negotiate her into year end shows yet, but they would like her to be by this time next year. The first step toward that is continued work on her comeback now that the mini-album has been recorded. She’ll be introduced to the choreography for “Roller Coaster” for this month, as well as choreography for “Offset”. Fittings for stage outfits happen early in the month as well so that she can focus on continuing to perfect her performance throughout the rest of the month. Though she is hard at work, she and the dancers she’ll rehearse with will get time off on the 31st (and January 1st) to celebrate the start of the new year.
Important dates:
December 4: Mnet Asian Music Awards at Nagoya Dome in Nagoya, Japan (also attending: BEE, CHARM, WISH, Alien, Gold Star Soloist 2, Origin, and Impulse).
December 8: Comeback stage and MV outfit fittings.
Decipher
Their comeback comes mid-month and while there’s not a major promotional push for it due to the time of year, but they will be performing at two year end shows. BC isn’t dishing out for overly extravagant stages for them, but they’ll be performing both “Remember That” and “Overcome” at both festivals. Additionally, as a promoting group during the holiday season, they’ll be participating in Music Bank’s special stage Christmas special and will do a performance of “Joy to the World” that will transition into a performance of their b-side “VVITH”. As the year comes to a close, Nene Chicken will release a commercial song recorded with CHARM earlier in the month.

No schedules for the month.
Important dates:
N/A.
↳ CHAMPION
Decipher’s maknae/main dancer/lead vocal is brought into a meeting on the morning of the 8th. They’re not told why, but when they arrive at the BC Entertainment meeting room, they’re joined by Knight’s main vocal 2 and main dancer/vocal/rapper and Unity’s leader/main rapper/lead dancer/vocal, main dancer/rapper/vocal, and lead rapper/vocal. Representatives from management announce to them that they’ve been chosen as members of a BC and Dimensions joint sub-unit effort in collaboration with an American music label. The group will be called CHAMPION and will be marketed as “the Avengers of K-Pop” with a goal of capturing the hearts of the American market and will be a major focus for both companies in 2020. Debut album preparations will not begin until the new year, but this month, the members will begin to be pushed into English lessons in addition to public speaking and US-specific media training both individually and all together. The members have been hand-picked for their performance ability and perceived potential execution of the supergroup concept by top executives of their respective companies. BC Entertainment will work alongside the American label in marketing and management for the sub-group while Dimensions will mostly focus on the group’s music and concepts. This is a major and planned-to-be permanent project between the two companies, with a higher budget for their debut than is planned for any of their respective original groups’ next comebacks and plans for a tour are already underway before they’ve even been announced to the public. This information is all dropped on the chosen members during the meeting. Before leaving, the members are told that the news is meant to be kept strictly secret from the public with no spoilers or hints yet, as a careful promotional campaign is planned for its unveiling.
Important dates:
December 8: Announcement meeting.
BEE
Though they continue to prepare for their end of the month Seoul concerts, BEE will get the chance to warm up their performance skills at the Mnet Asian Music Awards and two year-end song festivals. “Something” will be their main performance song with different stagings for different events due to its great reception this year, but at KBS Gayo Daechukje, they’ll also do a special stage appealing to the more fun side of their sexy concept (admin note: the reference stage only includes three members, but all BEE members will participate in it). At the Mnet Asian Music Awards, their stage will be combined with Gold Star Soloist 2′s (admin note: Gold Star Soloist 2 will be performing “Room Shaker” instead). On top of all of the rehearsals, the BEE members will also be in meetings for their next comeback and will record the entirety of their planned March comeback mini-album this month. BC hopes to recreate “Something”’s success by having a somewhat similar concept for this comeback.
Important dates:
December 4: Mnet Asian Music Awards at Nagoya Dome in Nagoya, Japan (also attending: BC Soloist 1, CHARM, WISH, Alien, Gold Star Soloist 2, Origin, and Impulse).

December 29: BEE Winter Party concert at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul, South Korea.
Knight
After the Japanese version of Now or Never drops early in the month, Knight takes off on the Japanese leg of their tour, which will have them flying to and from Japan three different times throughout the month for concerts at different venues. When they’re in Seoul, they’ll continue preparing for their comeback next month with rehearsal for their stages and the MV filming at the end of the month, though they’ll get some time off when their peers are attending year-end shows and award shows, which BC doesn’t seem to have much interest in sending them to this year in favor of focusing on tour profits.
Important dates:
December 4: Release of Now or Never (Japanese Ver.).
December 6: UNLIMITED tour concert at Marine Messe Fukuoka in Fukuoka, Japan.
December 7: UNLIMITED tour concert at Marine Messe Fukuoka in Fukuoka, Japan.

Lipstick
Lipstick wraps up their 2019 world tour this month with two concerts in Japan and an encore concert in Seoul in a bigger venue than the one they played for the beginning of the tour. Music show promotions are pretty easy for the month since they’re only promoting a digital single, but as one of the artists promoting during the holiday season, they’ll be performing a special stage of “Santa Baby” on Music Bank, which they’ll have already performed at their two Japanese concerts earlier in the month. They’re continuing to release singles into the lead-up to their Japanese album in March of next year, so this month they’ll record their last lead-up single “Shh” (line distribution).

CHARM
Music show promotions for their digital single end mid-month after they attend the Mnet Asian Music Awards and kick off their world tour with three nights of concerts in Seoul. In addition to their concerts, they’re also attending year-end festivals and are scheduled to record a commercial song for Nene Chicken alongside Decipher early in the month. That’s not all they’ll be in the studio for, though, as this month, they’re tasked with recording for their upcoming album An Ode, which their latest digital single will also appear on.
Important dates:
December 4: Mnet Asian Music Awards at Nagoya Dome in Nagoya, Japan (also attending: BC Soloist 1, BEE, WISH, Alien, Gold Star Soloist 2, Origin, and Impulse).

↳ CHARM U
CHARM U will be performing their future single at all of CHARM’s concerts leading up to its April release (including their Seoul and Japan concerts), so an initial “live” version of the song has been recorded and members should have an idea of the choreography even if rehearsals haven’t been very intense. By the end of the month, they’ll be brought in to lay down some final vocals for a more polished version of the track.
Important dates:

WISH
After their short break last month, the members of WISH are back in action with year-end shows and award shows, for which they’ve be performing both of their singles this year for the most part, “Fancy” and “Whatta Man”. On New Year’s Eve, they’ll be skipping the normal Korean year-end show as they have the past two years in order to perform on a Japanese year-end show. MARCH 2020 DIMENSIONS ENTERTAINMENT SCHEDULES & REVIEW
Members may earn 3 points each (up to 6 points) for writing, by the end of April 7 KST:
A solo para of 400+ words based on their monthly schedule (does not count toward your monthly total).
A thread of six posts (three per participant, including the starter) based on their monthly schedule.
Threads do not have to take place directly during an important date listed on the schedule, but must be related to what the muse is mentioned to be doing in the paragraph explaining their schedule/the company’s schedule for the month and/or their thoughts on the mentioned activities or lack thereof.
These schedules may be updated throughout the month if new information needs to be added.
Reminder: February schedule posts are due by the end of March 7 KST.
Overall Company
To celebrate their new building and the success that has let up to being able to move into it, the company is throwing a party for all employees on March 24. Attendance is listed as non-mandatory, but, for idols, management will be strongly insisting they attend in order to show respect and thankfulness for the work of all of the other employees. It will be hard to get out of without a good reason, but there will be free food and drinks, though it’s a company party, so nothing will be permitted to get too out of hand.
Important dates:
March 24: Idol and staff party at Dimensions Entertainment Headquarters.
Dimensions Soloist 1
After a filming for online video series What The?! ASMR, where she’ll be asked to bring three items of her own choice to do ASMR with, the month is pretty low intensity, as she may be growing used to in the time since her last comeback. Her team is constantly reviewing potential songs, but haven’t locked one in as a comeback title track yet. She will be given the news that Dimensions will be having all three of their soloists participate in busking next month to help promote the new soloist, though, so she’s permitted to choose and practice up to six songs of her choice, though this must include her most recent title track as well as at least one other title track of her choice and at least one vocal or dance cover of her choice. She’s allowed to perform a song with one or both of the other soloists if she’d like.
Important dates:
March 8: What The ASMR filming.
Dimensions Soloist 2
To celebrate his second debut anniversary, he’ll be throwing a fan meeting at Yonsei University as a follow-up to his fan meeting in Bangkok last month. His official lightstick will be released on the first of the month is celebration of his approaching anniversary as well. As far as comeback prep goes, he’s expected to rehearse for his live performances since he’ll be playing acoustic guitar for both the title track and b-side “White” stages. He’ll also shoot for the album’s photobook. He will also be given the news that Dimensions will be having all three of their soloists participate in busking next month to help promote the new soloist, though, so he’s permitted to choose and practice up to six songs of his choice, though this must include his most recent title track as well as at least one other title track of his choice and at least one vocal of his choice. He’s allowed to perform a song with one or both of the other soloists if he’d like.
Important dates:
March 8: Be Happy fanmeeting at Yonsei University Auditorium in Seoul, South Korea.
March 14: Photobook shoot.
March 30: Performance at Seoul Spring Festival Day Concert (see event).
Dimensions Soloist 3
Her debut is next month so the bulk of final preparations are underway. Since the company stylists don’t already have her measurements, she’ll have two fittings for her music video and stage outfits before taking off to New Zealand to shoot her teaser photos and music video. Next month, she’ll participate in busking with the company’s other two soloists to help promote her debut. She’ll mostly be performing her album songs, but she’ll be permitted one vocal cover of her choice to practice this month and perform next month if she so wishes.
Important dates:
March 8: First MV and stage outfit fittings.
March 15: Second MV and stage outfit fittings.
March 18-20: “I” MV filming in Auckland, New Zealand
March 18: Teaser photo shoot.
March 30: Performance at Seoul Spring Festival Day Concert (see event).
Gal.actic
Music show promotions end mid-month without much eventfulness, which is actually a good thing considering Gal.actic’s track record. Next month, the group will be holding a fan meeting in Guangzhou, China, which will be shortly followed by a mini concert in Seoul in May, so they’ll be in rehearsals for that this month. They’ll mostly be performing their most recent title tracks and their most popular ones, but each member will be granted a solo stage to perform one song of their choice. This can be a cover or a solo song they’ve released.
Important dates:
March 12: End of music show promotions.
March 30: Performance at Seoul Spring Festival Day Concert (see event).
Alien
As promised, March is the final month of touring before they get a break from large scale concerts for a while. They’re in the States for two weeks out of the month before they return to Seoul and they’ll be going back next month. Fans have been demanding a break, but Dimensions has too much in the plans for Alien to grant them one, and, instead, while on tour, the members will record another new English song, “Love U”. Once they return to Seoul, it will be time to record the songs they haven’t yet recorded for their next Japanese album.
Important dates:
March 5: We Are Here tour concert at Verizon Theatre in Dallas, TX, USA.
March 6: Release of “Who Do U Love ft. French Montana”.
March 7: We Are Here tour concert at Smart Financial Centre in Houston, TX, USA.
March 10: We Are Here tour concert at Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA, USA.
March 14: We Are Here tour concert at Hulu Theater in New York, NY, USA.
March 17: We Are Here tour concert at Rosemont Theatre in Chicago, IL, USA.
March 19: We Are Here tour concert at Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA, USA.
MARS
Their comeback is still two months off, but the MARS members must begin learning the choreography for their title track this month as Dimensions would like the choreography to be as strong as MARS is known for even though their concept this time is lighter than their most successful comebacks have been in order to fit the late spring/early summer season. The members will also go in to try out potential outfits for promotions ahead of filming their music video next month.
Important dates:
March 16: MV and stage outfit fittings.
7ROPHY
7ROPHY were promised to begin working on another comeback this month and management weren’t lying. From the beginning of the month, they’ll have a concept meeting for their comeback and then begin recording the chosen songs for the track list. They’ll be making their comeback in May, but their fifth anniversary since debut is this month. Four days before their anniversary, they’ll be in Taipei, Taiwan to hold their first solo fan meeting for Taiwanese fans. The set list will be pretty standard with their top title tracks and most recent b-sides. For their anniversary, each member will be asked to film a video with a message to fans.

March 15: 7ROPHY 1st Fanmeeting in Taipei at ATT SHowbox in Taipei, Taiwan.

The beginning of the month is the busiest for Unity members. They have yet another magazine photo shoot and then will be flying out on March 8 to the US to perform in Texas, before returning to Seoul on the 11th. From the 12th to the 18th, all members will be granted a vacation by Dimensions unless they have solo schedules to attend during that time. After returning from vacation, the members will have rehearsals in preparation for their Japanese tour dates next month.
Important dates:

↳ CHAMPION
Throughout the beginning of the month, the members will continue to meet up at the BC Entertainment building to rehearse choreography so that by the 20th, they’re prepared to leave on a short trip to Dubai to film parts of the music video for their sub-unit debut title track. In the days following their return, they’ll be busy with more promotional content filming. Fans are sure to notice that the same group of idols that was seen at the BC building is now taking the same flight out of the airport, but BC and Dimensions continue to not confirm anything to keep fans talking.
Important dates:
March 20-22: Trip to Dubai for “Jopping” MV filming.
March 23: CHAMPION focus trailer video [2] [3] filming.
March 24: CHAMPION group trailer video filming.
March 25: Additional “Jopping” MV filming.
March 26: Album photoshoot [2] [3]
Lucid
Compared to their jam-packed schedule over the last few months, March is more relaxed even though it’s the last month before their comeback month. Their album has been recorded so the focus is on choreography this month, as well as fittings and photo shoots for both the teaser photos and the album photo book. The concept of one of the versions of the album will be photos taken by the members of the other members, so each member will be provided a camera to take teaser photos with while shooting that concept version.
Important dates:
March 9: MV and stage outfit fittings.
March 12: Teaser photo and photo book shoot.
March 16: Release of “Full Moon” performance video.
March 30: Performance at Seoul Spring Festival Day Concert (see event).

May 2020 Favorites: K-Drama & K-Pop
Hello June!
Another month has passed and we are already in the half of the year. Hoping everyone’s still keeping safe and healthy nowadays.
May 2020’s favorites will not only be on Korean dramas but also on K-Pop. Some of the artists that I support have been very active last month (not complaining tho 🥰). The dramas and music are the ones keeping me sane especially during these uneventful times.
K-DRAMA
I got two favorites for the month of May for Korean Dramas.
1. Fix You
After ‘Meow: The Secret Boy’, ‘Fix You’ was released and the next new K-Drama that I watched for the month of May. The drama is another medical drama but this time deals more on the inner self: emotions, feelings, and sentiments.
‘Fix You’ follows Dr. Lee Shi Joon, a Psychiatrist, that is passionate towards helping his patients heal. He treats his patients through bold and uncommon way. It also follows Han Woo Joo, a promising musical actress that finally after years of hard work; her efforts are starting to pay off. However, she experiences anger issues, mental breakdowns, and is diagnosed with Intermittent Explosive Disorder
This medical drama focuses on one’s mental health and finding answers to have happiness in life. It also deals with different types of mental illness which could help in spreading mental health awareness. ‘Fix You’ stars Shin Ha Kyun and Jung So Min.
‘Fix You’ will have 32 episodes with 2 30-minute episodes per day. The drama airs every Wednesday and Thursday.
Network: KBS2
2. Mystic Pop-Up Bar
First 15 minutes and this drama caught my attention! Mystic Pop-Up Bar is based from a webcomic by Bae Hye-Soo. The drama stars Hwang Jung Eum, Yook Sung Jae, and Choi Won Young.
This drama focuses on a pojangmacha (tented outdoor drinking establishment), named, Ssanggab Cart Bar. It is run by Weol Ju with the help of Manager Gwi and a part-timer named, Han Kang Bae. Customers, either as human or a soul that enters the mysterious food cart drinks alcohol and eats with them until the customers tells their problems in life and what they are planning to do. After knowing the struggles Weol Ju’s customers have, she helps them solve it to heal their emotional wounds.
Mystic Pop-Up Bar reminds of one of my favorite dramas, Hotel del Luna. I could say that the two has similar concept and both has a fantasy-comedy genre. If you are into dramas like the former one, give Mystic Pop-Up Bar a chance and watch it.
The drama is said to have 12 episodes and airs every Wednesday and Thursday.
Network: jTBC, Netflix
K-POP
Next part is about the artists that I love and support. One artist released an album, and others shared videos to show the other side of them.
1. DAY6’s The Book of Us : The Demon Album
First on my K-Pop list is DAY6’s 6th mini album, The Book of Us : The Demon. It is one of the ‘Book of Us ‘series alongside with 2019’s Gravity and Entropy. The album represents about our human relationships which is that the demon’ is the negative part of our relationships/social balance since at times, it is not always good and we have rough times. DAY6’s members want everyone who is listening to the songs to relate with it and send a message that “You are not alone” with whatever you are battling. 💙
The album was released last May 11 with their title track’s music video, ‘Zombie.’
ZOMBIE
The song and music video describes that at times we live a life repetitive with nothing new happening – wake up, eat, work, sleep. I think at times, we do have that moment feeling like a ‘zombie.’ Doing our daily works but without emotional attachment to it, just doing it for the sake of doing it.
If you haven’t watch the music video, watch below!
youtube
Network: JYP Entertainment
2. Treasure: Treasure Map
Treasure Map is a reality show on YG Entertainment’s upcoming 12-member boy group, Treasure. The show is uploaded through YouTube and VLIVE having Treasure in different activities such as vlogging, having missions, or just sharing their daily life.
I’ve known some members since MIXNINE and got more interested when I watched YG Treasure Box, another YG Survival Show. They are very talented and can’t wait for them to officially debut. That’s why I love watching Treasure Map to know more about them and something to look forward weekly while waiting for their debut.
Here’s the teaser for Treasure Map:
youtube
Treasure Map is uploaded every Friday through Treasure’s official YouTube and VLIVE channels.
Network: VLIVE, YG Entertainment
3. Taeyang’s Documentary: White Night
Taeyang of my favorite group, BIGBANG, released a documentary on his 2017 White Night Tour. After finishing his military duty, he announced that he will be releasing the White Night documentary with the 1st episode released on the same day of his birthday.
The videos will show the other side of Taeyang off-stage. In the White Night documentary, the professionalism and perfectionist side of Taeyang will show. He really just wants the best for his stages and his fans, VIPs. Knowing the effort and sacrifices he has to put just really makes me want to support him more. 💛
Below is the White Night documentary trailer. Watch it and get to know more our Dong Youngbae.
youtube
The White Night documentary is uploaded every Monday and Thursday at 7PM KST. It will have a total of 8 episodes running for 4 weeks.
Network: YG Entertainment
4. Mapo Hipster
Mapo Hipster is a show to find the ‘Best Dress’ in Mapo between two close friends, WINNER’s Song Mino and Block B’s P.O. Both will have weekly missions, competing against each other to get the title of “Top Fahionista” in Mapo.
I’ve started this last February 2020 because of the two and got really hooked of their missions, skits, and just… everything! Sadly, last episode was uploaded last May 8 but you may still watch it on their YouTube channel.
youtube
It’s actually worth your time especially if you are looking to watch something fun and to relieve your stress. Mapo Hipster has 10 episodes.
Network: tvN, Channel Fullmoon
5. I AM SOMI
'I AM Somi' is about Jeon Somi , who has just turned 20 years old. She made the videos to show her everyday life to her fans. Her videos are all uploaded in THEBLACKLABEL’s YouTube channel.
Somi is one of the artists in THEBLACKLABEL, a subsidiary company of YG Entertainment headed by TEDDY. I actually just got to know her when I heard she signed a contract with THEBLACKLABEL and she’s actually good. Her debut song, ‘Birthday’ was actually a nice song that will made me put in on loop for days!
If you’re interested in getting to know Somi, below is the ‘I AM SOMI’ teaser.
youtube
‘I AM SOMI’ has a total of 6 episodes, with an additional epilogue video uploaded last May 10, 2020
Network: THEBLACKLABEL
Here’s my May 2020 favorites! How about you? Do we have similar favorites for last May?

TWICE: Weekly Recap #1 (October 30 - November 5, 2017)
With TWICE’s comeback, it’s no surprise that the week has been busy for the girls and as well ONCEs. Whether it is being busy for ONCEs with streaming, catching up with the showcase, keeping updated with all the preview and HD photos from fansites, or watching the girls perform their hearts out with ‘Likey’.
Here’s a timeline of what happened during TWICE’s comeback week!
October 30, 2017 – The day of the girls’ comeback!!! However, even before the clock struck 6:00 PM KST, the girls were awarded with the “Ministry Award for 2017 Pop Culture of Tourism.”
Prior to the official showcase, the girls performed their newest songs for the press which began at 2:00 PM KST.
6PM KST, on the dot, JYP Entertainment’s Official Youtube Channel released the music video for the girls’ most awaited 1st full album title track ‘Likey’ together with its release on digital streaming platforms.
‘Likey’ surpassed ‘Knock Knock’’s record for Melon's 1st-hour unique listeners with 61,084 while ‘Knock Knock’ had 58,473.
By 8PM KST, the showcase began with a cute VCR playing all their title tracks and the girls began performing 'CHEER UP', followed by 'TT'! The girls then talked about the songs in their album using particular keywords pasted on the blocks of a human-sized game Jenga that they played. Besides that, they also answered questions and did dares! What a fun loving girls.
They subsequently performed 'KNOCK KNOCK', 'SIGNAL' and 'ONE IN A MILLION', leading on to the song '거북이', or 'Turtle', ending the showcase with their new title track, 'LIKEY'.
October 31, 2017 – ‘Likey’ M/V reached 10,000,000 views on YouTube in less than 24 hours! ‘Knock Knock’ had a record of 9.8 million views while ‘Signal’ reached more than 8.3 million views in 24 hours.
It was also revealed that the girls accumulated approximately 330,000 copies for the pre-orders of their very first full album, ‘TWICETAGRAM’! Also in HANTEO, ‘TWICETAGRAM’ surpassed 40,000 copies sold only on its first day.
Likey has been on the steady #2 spot on instiz chart at 4:30PM while 거북이 charted on the 18th spot!
JTBC released a preview clip for TWICE’s 3rd episode guesting in Carefree Travelers earlier that day. The clip shows the girls enjoying their time in the beach and having fun riding the waves.
The episode itself showed the girls having fun playing in the water and beach volleyball with the cast, with a little teasing here and there. But then again, TWICE isn’t TWICE without teasing and a little playfulness~
November 1, 2017 – HAPPY JEONGYEON DAY!!! The girls dedicated their Instagram to Jeongyeon by posting numerous photos, specifically photos uploaded by Nayeon, Momo, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung! This is truly a very special day for the girls because as if it was a gift, TWICETAGRAM surpassed 70,000 copies sold in HANTEO and Likey has reached the number 1 spot on Instiz Chart!
On the same day, after the clock struck 12am KST, Momo did a V Live where she had fun teaching ONCEs how to dance to the choreography for ‘Likey’.
As usual, the girls were busy as they performed ‘Cheer Up’ and ‘Likey’ at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics G-100 Concert. The concert started at 6PM but only performed for their stage towards the end.
Along with the concert, the Weekly Idol episode featuring TWICE aired on the same day. The girls showed a preview of the choreography for ‘Likey’ and proceeded to perform twice (no pun intended) its speed.
After so, Coni and Doni then continued the show with TWICE’s very first ‘Idol Call Centre’ corner where the girls showcased their various styles of dancing, aegyo, and “Wild Edge” charm which was suggested by ONCEs themselves.
November 1st seems to be a very full-packed and happy day for ONCEs because the teaser for TWICE TV6 in Singapore was also released through Vapp and YouTube and it will first air on the 8th of November! We all can’t wait for it!
November 2, 2017 – Starting the day, ONCEs were greeted with LIKEY's M/V reaching 20 million views! Speaking of which, TWICE's debut M/V 'Like Ooh-Ahh' joined 'Cheer Up' and 'TT' in each having 200 million views! With that, TWICE joins BTS as the only Korean Pop groups to achieve such feat!
With Jihyo, Mina and Chaeyoung as the special MCs of the day, TWICE were set to pre-record their performance for LIKEY on M! Countdown, where they held a mini fanmeeting during the show.
TWICE were also featured on the front page of a local newspaper of Richmond in BC, Canada and was also announced as the second line-up artist for MAMA in Japan.
Adding to that, the preview for ‘Let’s Eat Dinner Together’ episode guesting Jeongyeon and Dahyun was released and is set to be aired on the 9th of November.
Lastly, the release of the Bluray/DVD for TWICE's Debut Showcase in Japan was announced!
November 3, 2017 – The girls were set to pre-record their stage for KBS' Music Bank and despite the foul weather, they still greeted the fans waiting by the entrance of KBS! Also, Billboard featured TWICE in an article titled "15 Reasons Why Twice Are Social Media Queens", where it says the wonders about TWICE's social media account and the tightly knitted relationship among the members. On another note, they held their first fansign in Sangam, where lucky fans who won the free fansign golden ticket could use them. Lastly, it was revealed by fans that by the 4th day of its release, TWICETAGRAM became the 6th bestselling album of all time by a Korean Pop Group in HANTEO, and the 3rd bestselling Girl Group album on HANTEO!
November 4, 2017 – As tabulated by user @precious_twice on twitter, TWICE achieved a total of 1,000,000,000 views on YouTube with only their Korean music videos, being the 5th Korean Pop group who has achieved this, alongside Big Bang, Girls' Generation, EXO and BTS.
TWICETAGRAM has now the highest sale for a Korean Pop girl group in their 1st week of promotions, with the other top 4 places also held by other TWICE albums. In only the 5th day of sales, TWICETAGRAM has also became the 25th Korean Pop group album with the highest sales in HANTEO, and TWICE is the only girl group in the list. Following up close behind at 26th and 27th place are SIGNAL and TWICEcoaster: Lane 2, respectively.
On Melon Korea's Girl Group top search chart, TWICE ranked #1 with 60% of the searches ran by females and 40% by males.
JYP Entertainment, to ONCE’s delight, released the Dance Practice for LIKEY! also released a dance practice video for ‘Likey’ on Vapp with cute CGs and on YouTube without the CGs. Lastly, variety show "Master Key", where Sana appeared in, was aired in the evening.
November 5, 2017 – Another milestone has been broken, as TWICE’s Knock Knock M/V surpassed 150 million views on YouTube and has taken over the 4th place as the fastest Kpop group M/V to do so in approximately 257 days! The girls also went to pre-record their performance for Inkigayo at 3:00AM whereas the actual show starts at 12:10PM.
'TWICETAGRAM’ also charted on the 29th spot for the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart.
That’s for this week, ONCEs! Please continue supporting TWICE in all ways you can. Let’s not forget to vote for them in music shows and stream ‘Likey’ by watching their Music Video on YouTube, listening to it on official Korean streaming sites to get TWICE their well deserved wins for ‘Likey’.
Lastly, don’t forget to vote for them on award shows where the girls can hopefully win awards! TWICE has worked hard on keeping us happy, let’s repay them with simple things like these!
ONCE! Let’s do well!!!

Not Twice related but bless kpopmart for existing. I went there to see if there was a preorder for Gugudan's 2nd mini album but all they had was the poster from their 1st mini. I checked it out and the poster is free but there's still shipping for $7.60 but for a nice sized poster of the first kpop group I listened to/the reason I got into kpop at all (and ended up loving/stanning Twice), that's practically free in my heart lol So much sentiment and love is going to be in that poster for me lmao
my blog is so quiet i immediately jump for joy whenever i get an ask because that’s how rare i get them rip
out of all the sites i’ve used to buy kpop albums, kpopmart is my personal favourite. i just searched it up myself and i have to agree with you it is such a fair option especially given the size posters typically are. even for some albums, prices are reduced (by just 90 cents but every non-existent penny counts these days lol) shipping is just everyone’s worse enemy while online shopping, #why T_T other kpop album sites should take notes! by what i can tell from your message you went ahead and bought the poster? #i approve^^ make sure to take a photo of it in your room and show it to me hehe and hopefully preorders for gugudan’s next album will be up soon! i saw the teasers and even though i don’t stan them (yet!) i do look forward to their mv! ah bless your soul for gugudan being your first ever kpop group (i remember mine was snsd) and how it has allowed you to expand your repertoire of other kpop groups you listen to, that’s just one particular thing i love about listening to kpop^^
