Your Friend Silver (Elias) by @uuberwachen ! this was such an INSANELYYY well written story and it stuck with me for DAYS. it really slots in the space in my mind that holds the classics and the twists and stuff with it genuinely got me. i cant recommend it enough if anyone who sees it hasnt read it yet. i got so excited when i saw a dedicated ask blog went up. i wish i werent scared of sending in questions to those things

Pixel Blue: 3DS VIRTUAL CONSOLE (2016) by @calybunz ! ahhh this was such a cool one to read! id see updates on it incidentally n i can tell a lot of work went into it- it was definitely worth it! its well written with a lot of heart.. maybe im just a sucker for stories that focus on a sympathetic blue.. the ending made me so SAD dude what the fuck. though my favorite parts were probably the dream sequences- godd the imagery of it all was fantastic!

Glitchy Red: Retold by @lycankeyy / @glitchyred (idk which blog youd rather have tagged sorry). so i saw this when the official ao3 repost went up or got mentioned or something and it. really. resonated with me. like its hard to put my thoughts into coherent words, other than i had to just. Lay Down for the rest of the night after reading it and just feel whatever emotions struck me. it cut really deep but honestly- that's just fantastic. it's not often that i read something that makes me feel as viscerally as this rewrite did, and i have nothing but adoration for it because of that (we do have the plural bias which doesnt help regarding this lol). in my mind this is the definitive version of glitchy red.

1. why did you choose your url?

my url is from ‘sol lucet omnibus’, a latin phrase that means the sun shines for everyone. a lot of my urls & usernames and whatnot are sun themed, so this is just another in a long line. for a while it was ‘solclaw’ while i was in a werewolf phase. but i dont plan to change it again

ahhh…. the secret come out. i guess? i have two sideblogs. @jinjjayo is my kpop sideblog, which i have not advertised having so far but does exist. i also have @solref, which is just where i collect tutorials & other reference stuff.

not consecutively, i took breaks, but my first blog was made in 2011. :0 i’ve had three main blogs over the years.

The fastest way to become my mutual is take it very, very slow, lol. I met @xxlea-nardoxx after reblogging some of her Silver art, and we slowly began talking in the comments and reactions before moving to our DMs, but iirc that took multiple months. And for you, you began leaving comments on my Ao3 stories for a while before moving on to Tumblr (I don't recall if we exchanged Tumblr usernames or something, though. But your comments were a great help in getting through New Beginnings! <3). Overall, I vibe best with people who like/reblog some of my posts here and send in asks with me sending asks back at times: it gives me some time to see who I am talking to and what our stances are on things.

🦋 ⇢ share something that has been on your heart and mind lately

I'm so glad I am no longer so ill, haha. I legitimately couldn't do shit except lay on the couch, have a fever, and be unable to eat. Plus, it really sucked that it took so long (well over three weeks): I began feeling just a bit desperate with every time I thought I had improved, only for the illness to come right back again a day later. And I'm still easily winded with zero stamina... Running around like BotW!Link with a constantly-empty stamina wheel here, while having no idea when that will finally be fixed...

I want to use that uncertainty as a guiding line in Stories. I named the fic All The Stories That Will Be Written because we don't know how our stories and those of the world will go: none of us can predict the future. I know we can't, but I hate it. It makes an interesting contrast with Silver who is from the future and who has a very unique story that formed his life there, but who is also shackled by uncertainties and worries and acts out heavily because of those. Yesterday I was going through the bits I have already written... and I found I'm entirely stuck eight chapters in, lmao. There's events that I know have to happen: Espio will have to convince Silver to stay in the past for longer, Espio will have to try and find evidence that proves Silver's innocence, Silver will have to undergo some development that shows why he is so intense about everything all the time, and I also want him to discover what Espio is up to (I also have an idea of what will happen after that, but that is something I don't want to spoil yet :>). It just needs to be written, aka the number 1 enemy of all writers XD With having been so ill, my whole writing system is entirely out of whack. I gotta sit down and brainstorm the next handful of upcoming chapters and see what I can make of it!

ooooh i'm a pretty emotional person so this should be easy, but for some reason it's hard for me to remember? Probably a month or so ago when I had some really bad stomach cramps.

I got into ballet as a kid (thank you, endless Nutcracker performances and Barbie and the Twelve Dancing Princesses) and I've never looked back since! I've tried a ton of studios and different styles like jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and modern. (Jazz and Hip Hop are my favorite!) I also briefly took up swimming lessons a few years back.

5. Do you use sarcasm?

I've tried some sarcastic quips, I don't think I'm very good at it though XD. The only way I excel in that is writing them into dialogue hehe.

6. First thing you notice about people?

Physically speaking, their face :) If not, then their outfit for the day!

Happy endings! Always down for some fluff.

I always like to mention writing haha: I've written a lot in multiple genres/settings and I'm pretty proud of that. I'd consider myself pretty crafty as well: I recently got into scrapbooking and bracelet making and have completed a number of those projects. I can memorize just about anything. I have a strangely good ability to pick up/create harmony despite not knowing how to read music.

15) What are your writing strengths? I write pretty fast and I think I'm good at working fairytale elements into narratives. Also, I write killer outlines.

1. why did you choose your url?

Nika is actually one of the first things I’ve ever called myself as a kid and last year I decided to sort of “reclaim” this old nickname and start using it again in online places and I’m surprised by how right it feels.

As for Tyler, well. I think it’s obvious. In my head he’s the main character of this blog, the mascot, if you will. And also, and this is a bit embarrassing, but about a month or two ago I saw this post that was like “changing names shouldn’t be such a big deal, we expect trans people to do it if they’re uncomfortable with their birth name, but we should normalize EVERYONE changing their names if they’re not okay with it” (or something along these lines). And well, I like my name, but I thought, what if I didn’t like it, what would I pick instead. Immediately, this one popped up in my head. Yeah. I mean it makes sense to me, but it feels so dumb at the same time. So yeah. I guess if you called me Tyler, I would respond to it. I’m not sure how I feel about the fact that I would respond to it, but hey. It’s weird but it would work.

The only one that is still active is my cc finds blog @simmeronnie-cc (yes I need to rename it too, we’ll do that). 1. Why did you choose your url?

My old url was ToolMusicLover in celebration of the band Tool releasing their latest album after a long hiatus, but after a while my blog slowly but surely was taken over by Star Wars and Obi-Wan Kenobi and I felt it was appropriate for me to change my url to reflect that.

2. Any side blogs?

Nope.

3. How long have you been on tumblr?

Not long, I think just over a year now.

4. Do you have a queue tag?

I don’t but most of my posts are queued/scheduled, I set them up every morning.

5. Why did you start your blog?

I wanted to find more Obikin fans.

6. Why did you choose your icon/pfp?

Because he’s fine as hell, even the pixelated version of him. I think about this man way too much.

7. Why did you choose your header?

Because I wanted a gif that matched the colour of my icon and it was the first clip I felt would make a good enough gif.

8. What post of yours has the most notes?

This Star Wars, the Clone Wars 2003 gif set.

9. How many mutuals do you have?

I honestly have no idea. Is there an easier way to find out than by counting by hand? I could probably do that but I’m far too lazy.

I feel a bit weird giving the actual number haha, I’m happy with the number considering I haven’t had my blog that long, but would definitely like it to grow a bit more.

Way too much <-- same. I’ll open the app on breaks or sometimes if I’m just bored at work, but I couldn’t really say how often it is. I easily spend the first half an hour of my morning scrolling and setting up most of my posts for the day.

14. Did you ever have a fight/argument with another blog?

Nope, I don’t handle confrontation very well.

15. How do you feel about ‘you need to reblog’ posts?

Are we talking about the guilt tripping posts about how if you’re not talking about a current event 24/7 on your tumblr blog then you’re trash? If so, I dislike those. I work in policy and advocacy irl, and though I of course support many of those posts, my blog is a chance for me to distance myself from the stuff I work around and with everyday.

If we’re talking about the ‘reblog to support creators’ posts then I’m completely fine with those because that’s what keeps tumblr going. likes are certainly nice, but without reblogs, the post just sits there and it dies.

Errr I don’t really know what counts as Tumblr famous? I suppose in this corner of the SW fandom I’m mutuals with a few who are quite popular, but I don’t really feel comfortable calling them out haha.

1. why did you choose your url?

i wanted something sangyeon related so i saved a few urls and ended up choosing the one i liked best, which meant i had to drop the def i had in it for two years haha 🙃

2. any side blogs? if you have them name them and why you have them.

oh, i've tried but it's just not something i can be consistent with. i enjoy having a mix of everything i like in here, even though this is first and foremost a kpop blog. i just don't like to limit myself or feel like i have log in a different blog to rb an aesthetic picture or a quote.

3. how long have you been on tumblr?

i made my first tumblr back in 2011, and i don't even know what the url was anymore. i remade a million times and was pretty active in my cinema blog until i dropped the whole content making thing and came back in 2019 with defsenses, which now has turned into my baby sangyus 💗

4. do you have a queue tag?

i don't. i don't queue often, either. i'm more of a "reblogs when she's online" kind of girl.

5. why did you start your blog in the first place?

i wanted to be active in the fandoms i was in and i never really vibed with twitter culture. i also wanted to make content again, and tumblr has always been my favorite platform.

6. why did you choose your icon/pfp?

because jae is my guy, my favorite kpop boy ever regardless of who i ult. does that make sense? it makes sense to me. he's just that special.

7. why did you choose your header?

because i finally have an ult line and i wanted everyone in it to be part of my header. i also wanted to have that quote from boys somwhere in my blog lmao.

my got7 and seventeen netflix series.

i don't know the exact number, but a lot of wonderful people who i love a lot.

a lot more than i ever thought i would have, and close to my next milestone, so hopefully that happens some time this year.

i don't count at all. if i'm bored and creating content for it, then i can spend a few hours on here. if i'm too busy with work and life, then maybe like 10 mins before bed.

nope. i've never had a fight with anyone, but i've received a couple of rude anons like most bloggers have at some point.

i feel like guilt tripping people into reblogging things isn't the way to go.
