Finally got Echoes of Wisdom~ i do love getting to see a version of Zelda interacting with the world for once, and the character designs are all super cute! Spent forever exploring before doing anything else and now I'm running around OP as hell. or would be, if I wasn't committed to the bit of killing almost everything with hordes of bats~

What's your opinion on Zelda x Dohna in EoW? Just curious!!

(I personally ship Zelda x Dohna but that's just me, I also see Link x Zelda in EoW as cute too! To me though I just see them as being chaos gremlins together!! >:D)

The moment Dohna lays eyes on the vai, she doesn’t realize how smitten she is. Strength radiates from the cloaked figure, compassion and wisdom balanced as they travel through the hostile land, and bright eyes reflect the world’s joys, a playful smirk promising light-hearted chaos.

Dohna doesn’t realize what has happened until much later. She doesn’t think much of the implications of gifting Zelda the pajamas, or how Gerudo and Hylian culture differences include how affection is shown.

For her people, it’s a compliment to be gifted high-quality materials, and with how rapidly the temperature changes in the desert climate, silk sleepwear is seen as a luxury. But Hylians, Dohna realizes as pink paints across Zelda’s face, stuttering through her thanks, seem to take this action differently.

It’s pretty, this is her only thought as Zelda folds the gown, preparing to slip it with the rest of her belongings. She wants to see Zelda blush more, to hear her stutter, to see more of those shy smiles as Dohna compliments her. Her lips look soft, kissable, is the next thought, and oh.

Oh.

Dohna can feel heat grow on her own face, words rambling out of her mouth as Zelda turns around to depart, but Dohna doesn’t process anything that happens next. 

She likes Zelda. Wants to kiss her. She likes Zelda. 

The next day there’s a knowing glint in her mother’s eyes and Dohna turns in the opposite direction to avoid any embarrassing interactions. 

Her ears twitch at the sound of laughter behind her back, and she pretends her head is raised high as the courageous warrior she is, and she walks—not runs but walks—to her room.

Subcounsciously, she traces her lips with her fingers, and her face heats up when all she can think of is Zelda. She wonders if the princess will wear the gown as she continues her travels across Hyrule, if Zelda will think of Dohna and her home every time the silk touches her skin.

Looking out the curtains of her window, she hopes Zelda comes back to visit soon.

After returning the castle back to normal a mysterious monster appear out of nowhere. And the real Link came to save us but was capture as well.
