hanging my head. I'm gonna go ahead and watch it again. sometimes i do feel bad for people who got into ofmd that never even tried black sails. the sheer scope of the thing you miss out on. the way you can analyze the show as if it's literature because it's a truly phenomenal narrative in which treasure island the novel is a dramatic retelling of real events but then i recall that we are fundamentally different people and begin to simply not care

#the way there are so many different good interpretations of things in the show. the way it puts things on YOU.#to make a choice (or not!). to identify and think about characters and what they want and wonder #is there anyone here who's right? and there are so many interesting answers to that question #what does it even mean to be in the right in this story??#it's an incredible show. there are problems with it too #but god at least it's well-liked for more reasons than being “the” queer show on tv #ofmd you are nothing to me. sorry. did not even get through season 2 unfortunately #does this mean gomens wins the war of queer shows rn or is there another that im forgetting.
