soup why dont you like anything why do you only reblog things pretty please you should tell me actually
welcome to my sick and twisted mind bestie /j
Likes are where i store things i either wanna come back and look at later or just wanna keep to look back on. Or they are my way of telling people ive seen and liked what theyve said about something but idk how to reply properly.
Reblogs are where i put the things i enjoy and wanna share. I started off on tumblr before i had an account on loads of artists blogs and internalised the whole reblogs mean more than likes thing. If i like a post i am semi obligated to reblog it.
My friends suffer for this but i also dont know how to stop. I have told them i dont take offence at being unfollowed, it turns out they enjoy making fun of me for the out of context malevolent stuff they get.
I just like rebloging stuff. I like it when people reblog my stuff so why shouldnt i do that for other people!
#Does this answer your question?#I should probably start tagging things as saving for later to clean out my likes a little bit more#every now and then i scroll through them to see the stuff i really enjoyed

So we know about Solas' traumatic menty b following the fall of Suledin Keep, but what does he feel about the event in hindsight? Do any of those feelings feel tempered or clearer when he looks back at it, or does it still give him a rush of near-delirious pride to think of that victory over Andruil?
Solas sat with one leg folded beneath him, the other dangling over the bank of the Pools of the Sun. Steam from the hot springs rose as he ran his foot lazily through the water. His fingers idly pulled at the seams of his tattered but warm coat as he watched the sun begin to rise over the Emprise du Lion.
He felt Nanna approach, and could already smell the faint scent of cloves, chocolate, and flowers that followed her even into battle. He greeted her with a smile and extended the heating rune he’d traced into the ground. He did hate being cold.
“I always know to look for you by the water at sunrise,” she grinned, “but hot springs made that search even easier.”
“It seems I have become predictable in my old age,” he said with a soft chuckle. She sat down beside him, and together there was at least some semblance of warmth. Though the tips of his ears and nose remained red. “It is peaceful, even with the cold. It…reminds me of home.”
She looked up at him, and there were deep lines and dark circles beneath her violet eyes. She hadn’t slept, or if she had, it had been a restless slumber. No whispers of the Fade could reach her - he had tried to push through the false Calling into her dreams and found it a pounding cacophony.
“You do not often speak of your home, la’ghilen.”
How Nanna would have wondered at the old world. The things he could have shown her - wisps playing along the riverbanks, chasing each other as halla grazed on the fresh morning grass. Spirits aiding the fledgling humans crafting boats to catch fish as dragons dove beneath the waves. The feel of magic pulsing through the air.
“It is ancient history,” he said with a wry quirk of his eyebrow.
Nanna chuckled, shaking her head. Solas watched her as the sun rose a delicate pink over the pristine snow. He remembered another dream of a young mage newly freed from the Circle, her eyes wide in awe as she took in the world outside of her tower. Newly free, even if that freedom was fleeting.
She would rather have watched the sunrise.
Nanna wiped her hand over the tension that no doubt pulled at her temples and sighed. “This cold will be a distant memory when we reach the Approach,” she said, and duty draped over her like a cloak. She looked over her shoulder at the Inquisition soldiers breaking their camp. “I have not been to a desert before,” she continued. “I hope this armor is sufficient.”
She straightened, readying to stand. Solas took her hand.
“Stay, da’lathin,” he said. “Watch the sunrise.”
Nanna hesitated, but there was resolve in her eyes. In peace, vigilance.
“I will tell you a memory of this place if you do,” Solas pressed, dangling a story before the ever inquisitive mage with a mischievous raise of his brow. He barreled on before she could refuse. “These hot springs were once part of a large complex,” he said, his tone casual but his words quick enough to catch her attention before she could return to her duty. “Elves, and even some spirits, would gather here for a reprieve from the cold. The Coliseums were not here then, of course,” he added. “Thank the Orlesians for ruining what once held an understated elegance.”
Nanna glanced over her shoulder again, but this time, Solas followed her gaze as it passed over the camp to Keep at the mountain’s summit. “Was that a palace, then?” she asked.
Solas looked at it for a long moment, though not too long that Nanna would remember her duty. “No,” he said at last. “Not in the way you think. It became a fortress, ruled over by - a warlord of unspeakable cruelty. The juxtaposition of the Keep with these hot springs was as stark as the old empire had always been - beauty and terror commingling.”
Unconsciously, his thumb ran over the faint scar beneath his jaw where Andruil had dug her blade.
“But like the empire’s terror, it did not last,” Solas continued, unprompted. “Strip away the veneer of power and violent claim of control, and even a warlord feels fear.” A smile pulled at his face as he stared at the Keep, and there was something proud and a little malicious in the crease of his eyes. “It burned, like any other refuse.”
Hundreds of his soldiers were ash beneath the ground Nanna had walked to find him here. And Andruil? Dead and rotting in the Black City, if anything remained of her. He hoped it had been a slow agony.
His eyes trailed from the Keep to the Fen’harel statue guarding the perimeter of this very spring. “Nothing lasts forever,” he said. “Not even fear.”
He looked back at the sun rising higher over the horizon, and met it with a rueful chuckle as he remembered his audience. “I suppose I should have gone for a lighter memory to get you to stay,” he said after a moment.
Nanna chuckled. “I thank you all the same.” She squeezed his hand and rose. “We’ll find a happy memory when it’s less cold outside,” she promised, and placed a kiss on the top of his head before she left.
Solas didn’t correct her, but death was inevitable in war. The fear of a god? That remained a maliciously happy memory.

#the answer to the question 'does spock hate me?' is 20% of the time 'yes very much' 20% of the time 'no not at all'#and 40% of the time it's 'I don't think he could formulate an opinion of your character if you put a gun to his head'#st: tos#s'chn t'gai spock#james t kirk#spirk#star trek

I don’t think this is going to end with Gemma being completely alive and back to normal and everything’s happy but like, I am a little baffled by people’s insistence that mark trying to get her back is unhealthy
Like. If you think your wife dies but then it turns out she appears to be alive and being held hostage in a basement somewhere, presumably stolen just before death by the deeply unethical medical company who has contacts and influence in just about every organisation in your area (including the hospital and the morgue), and you happen to have access to some parts of said basement then doing what you can to get her out of there isn’t an unhealthy refusal to move on. That’s like. A relatively normal response to an insane situation.
Like is the healthy option to just leave your seemingly alive and well wife in the basement of the evil medical company to be experimented on? Mark doesn’t even know she can’t remember anything (and to be honest, neither do we. We’ve only seen her innie. We have no idea what her ‘outie’ is like. I doubt it’s normal regular Gemma, but we don’t know). The experimental brain surgery is unideal but the desire to rescue her is like. The only normal response to that information
#severance#severance spoilers#I mean I get that as a metaphorical interpretation#but in terms of the actual real events of the plot like#Gemma does seem to be alive down there it is not weird for mark to want to get her out#also like#you wouldn’t call someone unhealthy for still living and caring for their spouse after brain injury or dementia would you?#*loving#like#there’s a question being raised here about what identity is and what makes someone them and at what point are they no longer them#and I truly do not think ‘your wife might be brain injured so the healthiest thing to do is leave her in the secret evil lab to be#experimented on’ is the answer here.#there are real life conditions comparable to the states people are in in this series#Gemma’s body being alive does mean that part of Gemma is alive no matter what state her brain is in#it’s normal for mark to care about that#even if the Gemma he knew is gone and he ultimately ends up in a place where moving on AFTER SHE IS SAFE is the healthiest option
