#gonna be so real i do not like cletus kasady. i think he's a lazily done character. at least the joker has a gimmick#like i'll get on board with 'whoa they're just INSANE' characters! i'll be there! love when harley quinn just does whatever the fuck!#idk cletus kasady never hit the right buttons for me though...#spesh in the second venom movie. that was my real intro to the character and i just did not like it#smth about the writing + actor choice just was not for me#and then reading the initial carnage arc. just not a fan. there's no motivation there's no fun gimmick.#does it look cool! sure! but. y'know. we could get the gore elsewhere.#theoretically eddie brock could do all that in red if he really wanted to#idk though i skipped the actual carnage comics cause they did not interest me... maybe it's better in there...#venomposting#venom#venom 2018
