🎭 Avatar of the Stranger: Ophe (@maybeophe)
Ophe serves as a friend, at first. They tell the best jokes; they comfort you when you're down. They've been there for you for as long as you can remember.
Everything is fine until someone asks how you two met. It's a simple question. Answering it shouldn't be so hard. Yet your mind draws a blank. Memories come of times you've spent together. But none can strike you as the first.
More things don't add up. How they always know you're schedule. Even last minute changes. The way they draw your favorite ships for fandoms you've never shared you're in.
Their face. You've never caught a glimpse behind those bangs. They always cover their eyes but in the corner of your eye you swear those bangs sag into the floor. Beyond it, somehow.
You work up the courage to ask. They smile. It's a familiar, soft smile. It's a smile you've never seen before. Extending far beyond where it should, twisting and turning around their body. They're so glad you asked.
They part their bangs.
You finally see their face.
You are never seen again.
#two can play at the making another person into an avatar game#I say having only listened to three episodes of magnus archives#still if you're making all of avatars then you too shall get the same treatment ophe#it's only fair#tma oc#does it count if it's technically someone's sona?#unclear#am using it anyways just in case#perp writing

This is my Undertale au (Mainly Sans aus) blog, my main is @cryingbluez. Will mainly be posting my own artwork, and answer asks. I will sometimes reblog others posts too. NOT a follow4follow account. So if you only follow me looking for one back, chances are I will not.
To see if asks/requests are open look at the my bio (theres also links in both this post and bio about rules about asks/requests). You can also send me random head canons or thoughts on characters too, I'd love to hear them!
Asks will be open for both me and my characters/aus just make sure to specify who the ask is for. If no one at all is specified and its not clear who its for I will just use any character to answer lol.
I'm also super okay with unhinged asks/tags on my stuff (as long as it isn't nsfw) I'm also okay with spam likes/reblogs/asks. I'm also okay with anons wanting specific anon names e.g. an anon referring to themselves with an emoji.
Also I'm okay with fanart of my characters! :D make sure to tag me and you can even send an ask in to make sure I see it lol. And I'm also okay with your ocs interacting with mine. Either it be through asks or art.
I'm also prone to adding random bits of info in the tags, not on all my posts, but a lot of my posts have stuff in the tags too, of me talking about something lol.
(This blog will have swearing in it. So if that's something you don't like please be careful when viewing my content)
You can call me Monodrama, or just Mono for short. Heres the ref for my skelesona.
Some lore on my sona :D :
Despite the title of ‘Skelesona’ my technically not a skeleton. More so some sort of parasite controlling a puppet/doll that looks like a skeleton.
Monodrama means ‘a dramatic piece for one performer’ (Nickname "Mono"). Given me saying my skelesona he’s actually more of an oc/mascot he doesn’t fully act like me, he's more so a being I can talk through.
His eyes and the bunny features as well as the horn and tail aren’t actually his own, since he’s a sort of parasite he can consume people/monsters and can gain a feature or two that he can use whenever he wants. E.g. he ate someone who had yellow eyes, giving him yellow eye lights, he ate a rabbit monster gaining bunny features, and he ate a reptilian monster for the horns and tail. (Also it explains my blog name lol)
Does have ecto, but rarely has it active
This blog is just a place for me to shove my Undertale au/Sans au artwork, feel free to send asks or doodle requests in. I have a few undertale ocs too :D
I'm open to answering asks about myself or any au/oc stuff I do, I will try to include doodles whenever I can, so bear with me if I don't answer it quickly. If you sent a doodle request and I don't do it please don't be mad. After all it's free art, I get to choose what I want to draw.
I do utau ships, and have my own sans au that I'm working on. Main utau ship I like is CrossMare (Cross x Nightmare), I enjoy drawing Nightmare a lot so you will see a lot of artwork of him. I tend to go for either fandom versions of characters personalities or my own interpretations of them.
Some of my fav bands/artists are, Glass Animals, Vundabar, Girl in Red, Rio Romeo, TV Girl, Machine Girl, Eve, Creepy Nuts :DD
My writing style tends to be very blunt, so I try to put in emojis/emoticons. I try not to spam them, but just warning ppl that I don't mean to sound mean I just type like that D: .
I'm still trying to figure out how I wanna draw skele's, so bear with me with that, my style might change.
Some links to posts of mine that I find relevant! :D (will be adding to this as I post more)

1, 12, 38, 50!
1: Your first OC ever?
my first oc ever was actually two ocs! back in 2018 during inktober (ew i know) i drew for a few prompts these two characters named vanessa and sami
i then drew them a bit in my sketchbook and promptly forgot about them for a good year or so-
i then picked them back up later after i had other ocs and polished their designs
theyre kinda like that webtoon waffles and pancakes ig- sami is a blonde kid who is really energetic and bubbly- hes blond and has this purple vneck long sleeve purple tee that he wears all the time, and vanessa is a bit taller than him, and shes got dark purple blue maybe hair- always brooding but caring- and she wears like pencil skirts and tight shirts-always dark- and shes SUPER cool i love her
12: Name an OC that isn’t yours but who you like a lot
honestly, even tho theyre someone i dont really talk to anymore, one of my friends from my old public school had this oc named adrian who had four eyes, a second set underneath the usual one, and he was a demon and had this super cool backstory- his dad kyrogin had six eyes, four like adirans, one vertically centered on his forehead, and one on the left side of his neck- and he had two sets of horns as well
they were all super cool and had this epic backstory that i dont remember- but i do remember drawing super fluffy things for them and drawing this one thing of adiran and rikan sneaking up on me and my friend and that spouted the nickname for adiran “he sneek” akjlsdf
38: Which one of your OCs would be the best dancer?
u h does myself count as my oc? bc technically i have a seperate me sona oc thing in my oc alternate universe thingy whatever- and because its just me and i take dance i would be the best at dancing? i really cant think of anyone else who would be akljdfas, maybe julie but i feel like she’d just kinda shimmy a bit KJLADFHAS
50: Give me the good ol’ OC talk here. Talk about anything you want.
actually kinda want to talk abt hsmp!yeti for a bit bc im gonna “expose” what blair came up with and then we both kinda ran with it aklsjd
so basically the idea is that hsmp!yeti was the last person on hallmark, watching everyone leave one by one because of the cerulean. only staying because she was determined to find a way to stop them, she had to try.
she had been doing research on them and had found lots of interesting things but once people left she became lonely and it was a bit more difficult to carry on like she used to... even with her pets there so many had died already, except for her cat ted
and after one day of trying to wrestle with the vines and try and fight them, she became so entangled with them she almost died choking on the spores. she barely made it back to her house and after collapsing on her bed, she phased through the bed down to the first floor.
she sat up extremely startled and saw in the reflection of her window that her eyes were glowing red... she went to grab her elytra and found when she tried to put it on she already had wings,,, they didnt hurt but they had mass...
absolutely scared out of her mind she contacted void and got their location, she grabbed all her valuables and put in her enderchest- grabbed her cat and flew straight to the location that was sent to her
thats all i can say for now but eeeeeee- this is how i turn almost all my smp sonas into vex hybrids >:D (aside from dynasty smp akjsdfa)
#oc tiem babeyy#woooo#yeti oc julie#yeti oc vanessa#yeti oc sami#hsmp!yeti#i can share pictures of things if u like juno ajslkdfa#jus ask <3#ask#widdendream5

Dream SMP locations/moments/characters as their respective canon Homestuck songs.
/rp /dreamsmp (based on characters, not creators)
Source: I said so.
SUPER LONG LMAO
The links go with the descriptions above them. Mobile formatting makes the list really confusing. Sorry about that.
The entire SMP. I tried to assign this to a specific event but I couldn't. Eternity is just too powerful. It literally has the best moment in all of Homestuck music history. That kind of raw energy cannot be defined by a single event. [Eternity Served Cold] Tommy, Tubbo, and Wilbur joining - L'Manburg War
[Sburban Jungle]
Pogtopia/Manburg War
[Welcome to the New Extreme]
The First Disc War(s, if you include the other disc-related conflicts)

The first half of the Final Disc War
[You Killed My Father (Prepare To Die)]
The second half of the Final Disc War
[Showtime - Piano Refrain]

[La2t Frontiier]
That little arc where Tubbo was trying to be a detective instead of mourning the violent and brutal death of his best friend
[BL1ND JUST1C3]
Doomsday
[Even In Death - T’Morra]
What? You thought I was going to say Carne Vale? You thought Doomsday was [S]: Game Over? Amateurs.
When Dream and Techno inevitably break out of the prison because let’s be real that’s happening one way or another (bonus points if Techno finds out about Dream manipulating Ranboo and goes apeshit)
[Carne Vale]
My DSMP sona when she encounters someone who manipulated the kids
Las Nevadas/ Casino Q
[Black]
The Syndicate lmfaooooooooo (I’m only half kidding here)
[I’m A Member Of The Midnight Crew but it’s the nice a capella version that everyone likes because it’s objectively the best one]
That one time Tubbo finally went to visit Tommy in exile and thought he [S] Game Over’d himself
[Flare]
The stream where they created Church Prime
[Creata]
PLEASE let Tommy just go apeshit ONE time every time he does even one SMALL THING for himself the entire fucking universe turns on him please he deserves to let it all out and kick actual fucking ASS EVEN ONE TIME COME ON

The Dreamon Hunters, my absolute beloveds. My favorite arc on the entire SMP.

Tubbo sitting over the remains of his country on L’Manburgian Independance Day earlier this month (yes I’m spelling it as “Independance because that’s what their constitution said okay it’s their fault not mine)
[Three In The Morning Aftermath]
Tommy leaving Exile (or him being revived I guess idk)
[Savior of the Waking World]
If Sapnap ever DID ANY LORE COME ON MAN YOU HAVE THE MOST POTENTIAL HERE

[Constant Confinement]
Ranboo & Fundy doing dumb shit together (the good ol’ days)
[Wacky Antics]
I could use this for an actual, plot-relevant location, but no their SCUFFED-ASS NETHER IT HURTS SO BAD PLEASE SOMEONE JUST FIX IT IT’S SO GARBAGE (except for the portal hub that looks really nice)
[Underworld]
Ranboo’s lil’ Ender particles (chat) jammin to fuckin’ Cabinet Man or some shit during lore

The Inbetween and The Other Side fighting to get Karl to listen (Another one I’m pretty sure is canon)
[Derse Dreamers]
The final battle of the SMP. It’ll happen eventually. It can’t last forever, you know
[Rex Duodecim Angelus]
This went from a shitpost to a very long, fairly accurate (and fairly full of memes) analysis help I’m so tired.
Honorable mentions that I couldn’t add because they’re technically not canon songs:
Eret all the time
[Let Me Dance, Let Me Glisten]
The Eggpire just being able to understand The Egg (I say sarcastically, as if I don’t have this song written in a fictional language memorized)
[Futma Kul Shemtor (Hymn of the Horrorterrors)]

I did this one on twitter last year and I really like it, so I’ll post the answers here.
0.1 Oldest :Oc Dimo is my first and oldest Oc, but that bitch is my first and oldest human Oc, so both.
0.2 Newest Oc: Chase, my Little cupcake. Technically is more a human versión of another oc, but is the latest design I have done in a while and they have their own story.
0.3 Favorite: Oc Chrona The Dormouse, Guardian of the Tea Forest. One of the youngest of the Wonderland Family. I really love them.
0.4 Favorite Oc Design: "Angélique", the Facreux. After 5 years she came back and I really like her new design
0.5 Main reason for making ocs: answered this one here.
0.6 Describe your oc creation process: Funny, but I think those are the two ways I usually create characters.
0.7 Do you ship your Ocs w/ someone else's? Hell yeah. We are terrible
0.8 Fav Oc Ship : -more gross sobbing-
0.9 Weird.est oc/s: I think this chimera? I don't do very strange designs, and I tried to draw her like 3 times and my laptop just broze, so an old drawing have to be.
10 Villain Ocs?: This bitch. Don't let your ocs go meta (?)
11. Would you consider yourself nice to your ocs?: LOL no.
12 An OC you've killed: I don't usually kill ocs? like, I end their stories (or not) but not with their deaths. Also, like to make alot of aus, so yeah, alot of lives for them. These two are the exception, because their original story end with their death.
13 Are any of your ocs parents?: Funny, but usually kids mess up some of my ocs life, except these group. In one au Katy and Candel end up married and have 2 kids: The angel and the pyromaniac. Also Matthew managed to get Kitsu pregnant.
14 Are there any Ocs that you find yourself neglecting?: Oh boi, like alot of them... This group specially, since is one of my big (and really old) original stories. I really love them all and want to start drawing them again, even rewriting their story and maybe do a comic.
15 An oc that's dificult to write/... These two girls share some key points on their personalities and I usually find myself mixing them and uuuugh They're not even from the same story, it's really dumb.
16 Tallest and Shortest Oc: On their defense, the caterpillar only grew so much from eating mushrooms.
17 Oldest and Youngest ocs: Tricky one, since I don't have an old or young oc perse? so have the bitch with to many lives to know her age and the new baby from a new ship.
18 Do you dislike any of your ocs?: Katy, and she manages to be present even so.
19 Have you ever made a self-insert? Not really?? My Sona is literally a hand puppet in the most simple way it can be. Does that count?
THIS WAS A LIE! because I totally forgot about my trollsona and now I have an irkensona LOL
20 An OC regret:This one. Oh boi, it was a pain in the butt. jezzz, even dead she was a problem Yeah, she was an important plot point in a story, but daaaaam
21 An Oc you didn't expect to be popular: Kitsu, both the original and the steampunk versión (this one). She has a special place on my heart for alot of things, so when I show her on a rp group it was a really nice surprise that alot of the others liked her.
22 An Oc you didn't expect to love: Last one! Sophie started as a simple extra for another of my ocs and she catch my heart (and my partner's too). She end up being the best friend of a really angsty boi (?)
AND IT'S DONE! -flip table-
#my stuff#meme#ocs#my children#katy#kitsu#chrona the dormouse#candel#my ocs#matthew#candis#henry#and alot of stuff more

A Thousand Beginnings and Endings Anthology Review
5/5 stars Recommended for people who like: anthologies, fantasy, sci-fi, female-led stories, South-East Asian folklore, Indian folklore, Chinese folklore, Middle Eastern folklore, Japanese folklore, Korean folklore, Hmong folklore Forbidden Fruit: Roshani Chokshi 5/5 stars Filipino Chokshi's story is based on the Maria Makiling folktale based around the spirit of Mount Makiling. The style of writing feels like a traditional folktale, the ones that include morals at the end and cautionary warnings (which is perhaps a redundant statement), and is set in fantasy. I like how Chokshi included cautions about the tale "do not trust the fruits of Maria Makiling. If you find your pockets full of thorny fruit, throw it out the window" (5) as bookends to the tale. In this story, the spirit of the mountain is in the form of a girl, and since it's a love story, she of course falls in love with a human boy. The story is only 12 pages, but Chokshi develops the emotions of the mountain so she goes from curious and solitary to someone who would risk losing her heart, and though we don't really see the village or know what's going to happen, Chokshi also weaves suspense and the development of greed and jealousy within the pages as well. Olivia's Table: Alyssa Wong 5/5 stars Chinese Wong's story is based on the Hungry Ghost Festival, and is set in a mix between modern-day Arizona and the Old West. In this story, our MC Olivia has taken up her late mother's task of feeding the ghosts in an, pun intended, Arizona ghost town during the Hungry Ghost Festival. I really enjoyed Wong's interplay between loss and family and helping others. Olivia's mom died about one or two years before the story began, though she still keenly feels her loss and reveals that it's what led to her girlfriend breaking up with her. Going back to the Ghost Festival to cook the food is Olivia's way of getting closer to her mom--both a figurative and literal attempt, as Olivia hopes her mom will show up as a ghost. As Olivia helps the ghosts find peace and closure through her food, Olivia begins to heal by helping a forgotten ghost and a lady ghost she had a crush on as a kid. I'm not explaining it well here, but it's one of my favorite stories in the collection. Steel Skin: Lori M. Lee 5/5 stars Hmong This is one of the sci-fi stories in the collection, and it's the one that goes the deepest into the realm of sci-fi. Based on the tale The Woman and the Tiger wherein a tiger kills a hunter and sneaks into the home of his family, killing most of them, only to get killed by the remaining family in turn. Lee flips this on its head a little, and even after reading it twice I'm still not sure who's the tiger in the story. Yer is the main character of this story, and she lives with her father and memories of a mother who was killed in an android uprising. Yer's father starts acting strangely and seems to be working in a now-illegal field of technology. The story starts out kind of slow and slowly builds as Yer's dad starts acting stranger and stranger until Yer tells her neighbor/boyfriend she thinks her father's been replaced by an android and the two decide to finally find out what's going on with her dad. Still Star-Crossed: Sona Charaipotra 3/5 stars Punjabi Based on the Indian folktale of Mirza and Sahiba, two star-crossed lovers who end the way most of them do--with one of them dead. This story is a modern reimagining of the original tale, set in New Dehli, New Jersey. This one is mostly just creepy. At first, I thought it was going to be a reincarnating story, where the star-crossed lovers knew each other from a past life and they'd both remember and it wouldn't be quite as creepy. Not entirely the case, though Charaipotra hints throughout the story (and in the afterword) that it's kind of reincarnation for the both of them. However, it mostly seems like the guy remembers the girl and keeps 'finding' (read: stalking) her in hopes she'll agree to hang out or enter into a relationship with him. The twist toward the end makes it even creepier. The Counting of Vermillion Beads: Aliette De Bodard 4.5/5 stars Vietnamese Bodard's story is a reimagining of the Vietnamese tale Tam Cam, which is about two sisters engaged in a jealous rivalry. Bodard turned it on its head and made it so the two sisters are loyal to one another, but have different ideas of what they want and can do in life. Set in fantasy Vietnam, the two sisters are census takers for the emperor. The elder sister, Tam believes they can escape and be free and go back to their home, while the younger sister, Cam, believes that the only way to freedom is through the system. Tam and Cam both tug their own direction, leading to a rift between the two for a bit, until they realize they can reconcile their ideas of freedom into something new. Cam is the narrator and is more passive than Tam, unwilling to view the system they've been a part of and the walls that surround them as a cage for most of the story, which is why the half star was dropped. The Land of the Morning Calm: E.C. Myers 5/5 stars Korean This one is a meld of sci-fi and contemporary, as it is technically set in modern-times, but also deals with a computer game that may or may not have real elements...okay, so it's also technically fantasy as well, since the game centers largely around magical, ancient Korea. Based on the Chasa Bonpuli epic that follows the main players of death: the god of the underworld, a grim reaper, and a guide to the underworld. Sunny, the main character, lost her mom five years prior while playing a computer game beloved by the whole family. Since then, none of them have touched the game. As the story opens, the grandfather is convinced the mother is back as a gwisin, or a ghost/spirit, and is trying to tell them something. Both Sunny and her dad brush it off, though Sunny decides to play the game one last time before it's shut down forever, and is thus transported into the land of fantasy and sci-fi. During the story, Sunny struggles to reconcile the death of her mother and the difference between clinging to the past and honoring it. The Smile: Aisha Saeed 4/5 stars South Asian A retelling of the legend of Anarkali, a girl who danced for the king and purportedly fell in love with one of his sons. I liked the story at first, though there were creepy undertones in this one as well. It's in a more historical setting than a fantasy one, and I enjoyed the way Saeed built the world and the people in it. I also like how Saeed explored consent in a relationship where one is royalty and the other is a servant/dancer of the palace. I mostly docked a star because of the creepy factor and the anger of the prince. Girls Who Twirl and Other Dangers: Preeti Chhibber 4/5 stars Gujarati A contemporary reimagining of Navratri, a Hinu holiday about community and dancing and being good to people. The story intertwines the actions of the main characters in the contemporary, magic-free world with the events happening that create the origin of Navratri. Three friends go to a Navratri celebration together and come into contact with the infamous (to them) Dinesh, who's sloppy dancing on Navratri years ago led to one of them having their skirt come unwrapped. In the spirit of the holiday, they decide to get revenge. It's a funny, lighthearted story and the star drop is mostly just me being unable to handle people being embarrassed, which both the girls and Dinesh end up being, to varying degrees. Nothing Into All: Renee Ahdieh 5/5 stars Korean This is another story about siblings and jealousy, this time based on the Korean story The Goblin Treasure, where goblins give two siblings the chance to gain treasure beyond what they know. Ahdieh is one of my favorite fantasy authors and I really enjoyed her contribution to this anthology. In this one, two siblings venture into the woods in search of the goblins they saw one year. The elder sibling, the sister, still feels guilty for something that occurred in childhood and thus attempts to hide her successes from her brother for fear they'll upset him. The brother has since grown up to be jealous and angry over his sister and what he views as his sister's selfish wishes. Naturally, one finds the goblins and the magic and the other does not and an argument ensues. The story is an interesting exploration through guilt, forgiveness, selfishness, and what one will do for family, even when said family has done wrong. Spear Carrier: Rahul Kanakia 3/5 stars South Asian This is a take on the Mahabharata, a famous Indian epic and, I believe, the longest epic that's ever been written. In the Mahabharata there's a huge battle toward the end of the story, and Kanakia has retold a portion of this battle from the perspective of one of the millions of people/creatures that have shown up to fight. It's another mix between contemporary, fantasy, and sci-fi. This is a story that I'm disappointed I didn't like better, especially since I generally like retellings of Mahabharata stories. I thought this was a really interesting take on the kinds of massive, all-out war we so often see in epics and high-fantasy books, even if I didn't necessarily like the story itself. The narrator of the story seems to be a high school- or college-aged guy who basically ends up accidentally agreeing to be a part of the battle and spends the time thinking of heroism and who we consider heroes and brings up the rather good question of why people were even fighting in the battle to begin with. I think this question, which is what the author says inspired the story, is really what saved this one for me. Let's face it, when we read stories of epic battles, we don't really ask where every soldier came from and why they decided to fight, we just role with it. Spear Carrier offers the answer that people came from all over, from all times, some for good and some for bad reasons, to fight in a war that needs corpses. If the narrator had been less....I don't even know, less preachy and less like the kind of person who thinks that just because they think deeply has few friends it means everyone else is shallow. Other than that, it's a great concept. Code of Honor: Melissa de la Cruz 3/5 stars Filipino This story is based on the aswangs, which de la Cruz describes as "banshee-like beings" (237) in Filipino folklore, and from what I've gathered from research for one of my books, can also be thought of like a cross between vampires and witches. Basically, they're awesome, oft-forgotten in the West, mythological creatures, which is why I'm so disappointed I didn't like this story better. The premise of the story is a good one: an aswang who's been orphaned and is searching for the rest of her bloodline. Unfortunately, this comes through by the aswang attending a prestigious high-school in contemporary New York and then being discovered by the bratty popular girl. With the undelivered promise of the story, the fight in the bathroom scene, and the not-quite-answered questions still left at the end of the story I had to drop two of the stars. Bullet, Butterfly: Elsie Chapman 5/5 stars Chinese Chapman's story is based on the Chinese folktale of Liang Zhu, translated as The Butterfly Lovers, where class and duty keep apart two lovers who, again, like most star-crossed lovers do, end up dying. In the original, these two lovers end up being resurrected (reincarnated?) as butterflies. This is the only dystopian/sci-fi story in here and it actually makes me wish there was more of them. Chapman flips the original on its head a little and instead of having the girl dress up as a guy to go to school, the guy dresses up as a girl to go to the factory. In this world, the girls are the only ones to work in factories until they're old enough to go to war while the guys are stuck at war or in training for longer (unsure how long, I don't think it's specified, but the guys go off first). Viruses keep ravaging the country, which is why the main character isn't off fighting in the war at the moment, he's in recovery. So, he dresses up as a girl and goes to the factory and befriends Zhu. I like the realness of the two of them as they work and get to know each other, the little details Chapman adds, such as the corner they eat lunch in where no one thinks to look. I also like the metaphors she weaves throughout the story, such as the butterfly bullet that's been invented and the gun smoke choking out parts of the country. It's a very metaphorical story based in tragedy, but the characters and their relationships make it worth any heartache. Daughter of the Sun: Shveta Thakrar 4/5 South Asian I believe this one is set in a urban fantasy (or rural fantasy??) setting, though I'm not entirely sure. It retells the story of Savitri and Satyavan from the larger Mahabharata epic as well as the story of the goddess Gangu and King Shantanu. In this story, Savitri is born with a sun heart, and because her parents worry for her, they remain mostly isolated on a large museum-estate. One day, Savitri finds a boy with a moon heart standing by the lake being coaxed into the water by a swan. She saves the boy from drowning and brings him back to shore, and the two become fast friends and lovers, only, Savitri is hiding from him what the swan said and why she was luring him to the water--an incident which he has no memory of. As the story goes on, Savitri realizes that the swan, and the goddess she meets, is correct and she cannot make decisions for Satyavan, even if it means letting him 'die,' and thus she gifts him back his choices. I like the story and I like the characters, but I'm a huge fan of choice, so Savitri's decision to take Satyavan's choices without thenletting him know is a hard no for me, hence the dropped star on an otherwise fantastic story. The Crimson Cloak: Cindy Pon 5/5 stars Chinese Set in a fantasy world with a golden ox, Pon's story is a retelling of the Chinese legend The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, which tells the tale of a cowherd whose talking ox tells him to steal the red cloak of a fairy girl because it will mean she must marry him. The two marry, have some kids, and then are separated by the fairy's mother who makes the Milky Way to keep them apart, only allowing them to visit on the seventh day of seventh moon. Pon makes the girl the narrator and a goddess in this one. In it, the girl, Hongyun, sees the cowherd and sets out to trick him into meeting her because she's curious. The two become friends and then lovers, and then realizing that she cannot give him what he wants, Hongyun tries to let him go. It's a story of loving and letting go and coming back together again and how we remember in parts even if we love whole. One of the things I particularly like about this story is how Hongyun directly addresses the reader "despite how the legend goes, the truth of the matter is, Dear Reader, I saw him first" (282). I think it adds a clever dimension to the story, and even in short stories I feel like it's not something that happens a lot. Eyes Like Candlelight: Julie Kagawa 3/5 stars Japanese Based on the Japanese myth of the kitsune, trickster fox creatures that have the ability to manipulate the mind and transform into humans. The premise of the story is good, it's set in feudal Japan and centers around a young man, Takeo, as he tries to find a way to meet the rice quote for the daimyo's tax. He comes into contact with a kitsune...which is sort of where I stop liking the story. I'm going to be 100% honest, I think this story has some rapey undertones to it. While the kitsune family helps Takeo and gives him the rice he needs to in turn help his family and town, the girl kitsune also heavily manipulates his mind and at the end there's hints that the two of them have had a kid even though they only meet as humans once and Takeo doesn't even seem to fully remembers what happened during that time, despite literally being the third person narrator.

Because yes (Part 2)
21. Your most artistic OC
Not counting the various singer OCs, I’m gonna go with the obvious one and say Nio in Chrisis. She is a personification of my creativity, after all!
22. Is there any OC of yours people tend to mischaracterize? If yes, how?
In all honesty I can see people getting Ruby Raleigh (DOTS:DD) wrong. She does seem like the typical anime protag (well, maybe she kinda is ^^;) but I feel like she’s not as... annoying, per say. I feel like she’s always had some sort of heroism in her this whole time that she’s never noticed before, but seems covered by the “gluttonous punk rocker” sona she has.
23. Introduce OC that has changed from your first idea concerning what the character would be like?
I actually may or may not be posting about this later in the evening ^^;
24. If you could meet one OC of yours, who would it be and why?
I’m sorry I love Cobalt too much, but I wanna say him. I wanna give him a big hug.
25. The OC that resembles you the most (same hobby, height, shared like/dislike for something etc?)
...Tigerlily, aha- We’re both short, have short hair, pretty gay, and honestly pretty useless. And we’ve both done bad things and felt those bad things, but I want to change Tig to be a positive character, so I can be positive too! We’re also both very picky eaters, whoops-
26. Have you ever had to change your OC’s design or something else about them against your will?
Emphasis on against my will. I changed a bunch of my OCs from a previous time into the DOTS characters everyone knows now because I was afraid from all the backlash I had recieved from them, especially from someone I don’t like talking about now.
Although it was a tragedy to scrap something so dear to me, I made not one, but TWO different stories because of that!
27. Any OCs that were inspired by a certain song?
First off, Yang Blake (DOTS: DD) was based off of Bulletproof Heart by My Chemical Romance! I was pretty blank on his personality at first, but the second I heard Bulletproof Heart while making his character he just sorta ended up as an embodiement of that song! I can never actually talk about Yang’s personality without mentioning the song!
This next one’s pretty recent actually! I haven’t drawn her digitally yet, but the song Valiant Heart by Nyxtheshield featuring Melodiva inspired my OC Princess Orlene from Dragon Destiny! I imagined the song to be her singing to Storm Gray, another character in the story, and I ended up getting the sweet and calm and flowing voice as inspiration for Orlene’s personality! I had already made her basic concept and design, but the song definitely helped with her personality.
28. Your most dangerous OC?
First off without spoilers, Ater from DOTS: DD. She’s never actually meant to be a main villain during DOTS: DD, but in all honesty she’s the most dangerous that I can actually say.
Going off of non-spoilery territory... - Dark from Last Light! He’s the unofficial “king” of the Darksiders in the story, he’s manipulative and will get EXTREMELY enraged when something doesn’t go his way. Did I mention he’s like part butterfly monster? Yeah. - Ringo from PSG! Although he’s an anime parody character, he’s solely meant to become bloodlusty in the story, nearly wiping out all his friends with the exception of Momo, who isn’t present during said scene - Ventus from AuAg. He’s not particularly evil, though a bit lacking on morals and therefore ending up with The “King of Switchblade Fights” title. If he puts his all into a fight, you’re either dead or about to be sent on a very urgent hospital trip.
29. Which one of your OCs would go investigate an abandoned house at night without telling anyone they’re going?
Zephyr from Sky Games is the ONE that comes into my head. I admit he’s technically a game character model, but he’s less talk and more action. Also he acts typically emo without even wearing black. Weird.
30. Which one of your OCs would most likely have a secret stuffed animal collection?
Rose Morganite from DOTS: DD and Nimbus Fulmen from AuAg. Both are sweet kids that honestly get put through too much to handle at their age, emphasis on Sweet. Nimbus is sorta akin to Steven in SU which is why I imagine him to love them, Rose just happens to love stuffed animals since she’s honestly a bit more childish
31. Pick one OC of yours and explain what their tumblr blog would be like (what they reblog, layout, anything really)
These two sounded the most funny to me so here ya go:
Ruby (DOTS: DD) reblogs a bunch of neon lights and rock bandom things, she’s probably obsessed with red/black color schemes so anything with that too. Also maybe even a sword or two, can’t go wrong with some cool-looking weaponry!
Ventus (AuAg) is... so terribly edgy tbh. He reblogs a buncha lyrics to the song “Lights Out” by MSI (PUNCH YA LIGHTS OUT, HIT THE PAVEMENT, THAT’S WHAT I CALL ENTERTAINMENT), knives, knives, more knives, that kinda shit. But also he’d reblog soap carving videos until he reaches post limit. He’s honestly not in love with killing 24/7; the guy just loves knives
32. Which one of your OCs would be the most suitable horror game protagonist and why?
Erin from Beyond Repair. She’s already mostly alone throughout the story, which already in itself seems on the border of horror. Also she reacts to things much less, she’s not really afraid of anything so it’d just be the video that goes “In the name of the father, the son, and holy spirit, fuck off please”
33. Your shyest OC?
Rose Morganite from DOTS: DD, definitely. As youngest of the paladins, especially of a pink soul, she’s overall shy around adults and other people. She likes being alone if she can, but rather than Tig’s crippling social anxiety she’s more of a shy kid than anything else.
34. Do you have any twin characters? 35. Any sibling characters?
Note: NO SHIPPING ANY OF THEM. EVER.
Twins: -Yin and Yang (DOTS: DD/DOTS: SF) - Arke and Iris (DOTSverse) - Turquoise and Zetto (DOTS: 5x5) Technically they are like one day apart or so but they see themselves as twins and age at the exact same rate. 5x5 Paladins are weird in that way - Roman and Remus (Dragon Destiny) - Ultra and Aqua (Dragon Destiny) - PT and Prince Azurite (SOTGC) - Pandia and Cynthia (DOTSverse) - Robin and Roxy (Zero Percent) - Nox and Pax (My newest story, Empiretale: Starlight Speedway)
Siblings: - Tig and Cobalt (DOTS:DD/DOTS:SF) - Alba and Ater (DOTSverse) - Prince Helios and Princess Selene (DOTSverse) - Quinn Magenta and Pink (Dragon Destiny) - Ventus and Nimbus (AuAg) - Caligo and Luna (AuAg) - Chris and... whoever they are (D.EXE) - Lux, Nox, and Pax (ET: SS)
36. Do you have OC pairs where the other part belongs to someone else (siblings, lovers, friends etc)?
Nahh... actually I don’t remember if I ever did. I’m gonna say no though.
37. Introduce an OC who is not quite human
I’ve talked about the paladins before, and the meme says an OC and not a whole race, sooo-
Storm and Chai are half dragons! Though the dragons are more based off of wolves since I suck at lizards right now O_O; whoopsie. They’re part of a science experiment, so they’re only two people out of a semi-big population of half-dragons. I drew Chai and his dragon form last night!
38. Which one of your OCs would be the best dancer?
I want to say Yang from DOTS: DD since he’s the one I jokingly said took ballet at one point in his life. Also I say jokingly because the dude was obsessed with rap music as a kid which probably doesn’t go too well with ballet. Aka kiddo Yang is based off of Abridged Jaden Yuki
39. Introduce any character you want
This is Omega!Nature. He’s a nature fairy from A Story Told and 100% done with everyone’s shit. He really hates humans but hangs out with two of them because he failed at doing a Fairy(tm) Prank on them. He’s an asshole and it’s charming because he looks like Tinkerbell’s emo phase mixed with the Onceler with the voice of Fidget from Dust: An Elysian Tail.
40. Any fond memories linked to your characters? Feel free to share!
I have very fond memories with Blake, Ruby, Cobalt, and Tigerlily from DOTS: DD, because they were my first original four characters I made back in 5th grade from a story I ended up continuing till this day! They had a lot of name changes, their first names have been Jaden, Jade, Chris, and Onishi, in that order. Because they’re my most developed four OCs, I have fond memories of seeing them grow into the characters they are now. Even if Blake somehow kept getting scrapped them coming back as an entirely new character. Huh.

The Ultimate 2018 Guide to FREE Skins and Champions on League of Legends
Some gamers have BIG bucks and they are willing to spend a ton on cool, rare and limited champions and skins… and who can blame them? Champion skins come in so many different varieties. They change the appearance of the character through the use of a color scheme (chroma), unique artwork and special effects (like sound and voice-overs). There are different ways for gamers to purchase champions and skins on League of Legends. Use Riot Points and Influence Points (earned during matches, win or lose). If you’ve earned Influence Points (IP), you can purchase champions from the Riot’s shop. They tend to cost between 450 to 6300 IP and sometimes a little bit more if they are brand new. Riot Points (RP) are different because they are only purchased with your credit/debit card, PayPal, gift cards (etc). If you refer a friend to LoL, you can earn free IP and RP.
But, there are other ways to get your hands on some of LoL’s 138 cool champions without spending precious IP or waiting forever to unlock them all. It is possible to get several free League of Legends skins and champions by following some simple steps. Just like a Facebook page, subscribe to a YouTube channel or follow a Twitter account and you will be well on your way to redeeming these free skins and champions and saving lots of money in the process!
Nothing beats free, right? Keep reading for some quick tips for how to get free League of Legends skins and champions!
General Information
Riot’s promotional codes give you BOTH the Champion and the skin that you can use for your specific region. These can ONLY be redeemed on accounts that match the region where the promotion takes place. Riot does not offer refunds for champions that were purchased before promotions started. If you experience any trouble redeeming the codes, Riot will troubleshoot the issue. Just send a support ticket!
Free Champion Rotations
One of the things we love about League of Legends is that we can count on a new list of free champions each and every week to be released by Riot. Before there were only ten free champions released each week but now there are fourteen free champions on Riot’s rotation list for gamers to play. The list of FREE champions gives you the chance to play champions without having to purchase them first. For example, if you own Ashe and Ryze, you can play Ashe, Ryze, and fourteen other champions that week. For anyone who is new to LoL, this gives you the opportunity to explore the champion before you commit and play every free champion, every week so you know what you like and if you’re willing to buy them. Don’t buy champions based off of looks alone. You could end up regretting the purchase when purchasing a champion that doesn’t match your playing style and what you’re looking for. A variety of free champions with different roles are announced on Monday every week for use starting on the upcoming Tuesday when they are released for free play.

League of Legends Free Champion Codes
Are you a fierce fighter, silent and deadly or a stealthy predator waiting for a chance to strike? Whatever your preference and play style, Riot has a champion that is perfect for you! There are more than 110 champions on League of Legends currently – each with their own special blend of abilities, art and lore. Riot also offers champion codes which allow players to access champions at no cost. The following list will help you can access LoL’s free champion codes.
Riot Girl Tristana
Riot Girl Tristana is a free League of Legends champion and skin that you can access by liking the official League of Legends Facebook page for your server region (see below). After you like the page, you must follow the instructions on the screen to link your LoL account and claim your free champion and skin. We like the Riot Girl Tristana skin because of its hot new boomer and outfit which is based on a cosplay outfit. It’s pretty cool that this champion is featured with a whole new color scheme in her favorite color, pink. Riot has also updated her boomer with a yellow smiley face: the last thing your opponent will see before you they die! Redeem in just a few short steps! Start by visiting the Facebook page for your region!

Unchained Alistar
The Unchained Alistar is easily one of the hardest free champions and skins to obtain but it’s not impossible. Unlock the Unchained Alistar when you subscribe to League of Legends official YouTube channel and follow these simple steps. Choose the link that goes with your server and click “Subscribe. “ This will redirect you to Riot Games YouTube account. Be mindful of the fact that most Unchained Alistar redemption links do not work. If you run into problems with the links you are trying to access, submit a support ticket to Riot to redeem the champion and skin in the following way….
Go to Riot Support Page
Make sure you LOG IN
Under CHOOSE A REQUEST TYPE, select “I am having Technical Issues”
Fill in all general information
Copy and Paste: Attempting to use the link to redeem the Unchained Alistar only brings up a blank page. I have subscribed to the YouTube channel. But am unable to discover how to get skin through normal means. Please see the attached screenshot where I am signed in and subscribed to RiotGamesInc YouTube channel. And the second page where the http://ift.tt/1dfZFmv brings up a blank page. If Unchained Alistar is no longer available I understand, and this ticket can be disregarded after I am notified of such. Otherwise can someone please direct me on how to resolve this issue?
Thank you, (insert summoner name here)
You will receive an automated reply from Riot Games with your free Unchained Alistar.

Dreadknight Garen
The free Dreadknight Garen skin and Garen champion is a lesser-known pair that you can get by following League of Legends’ official Twitter account: @LeagueofLegends. This champion and skin are inspired by World of Warcraft’s Death Knights. We love Garen’s new, dark armor which completely transforms him and makes gamers feel they have crossed over to the darkness! Redeem Garen and his Dreadknight skin in a few simple steps!
League of Legends Free Skins
Want fast access to dozens of free and rare skins? Buy a Level 30 Smurf Account on the top-rated website for LoL Smurf accounts which offers a variety of affordable options to match your preferences. The really nice thing about buying an LoL account is that it is dirt cheap and it gives you access to some of the rarest skins around. You don’t have to spend 100+ hours playing LoL to earn skins or give out hundreds of dollars in hard-earned cash. Smurf Accounts are inexpensive and hassle-free and you get so much out of the deal: a dedicated server, a bunch of champions, extra IP and RP, rare skins, and fast delivery of your account. The following rare and cool skins are a few examples of the dozens of skins you might receive with a Smurf account…
Ultimate skins are feature new forms, textures, splash images, animations, visuals, voiceovers and sounds, as well as other bonus content.
The DJ Sona Skin is one of the best LoL skins ever and is one of four available Ultimate Skins. The Sona Skin features three outfit and equipment changes, different background music in-game that your team can choose to broadcast in game or not.
The Elementalist Lux is an Ultimate Skin that features 10 different elemental forms which occur during battle. We love it because of its flash and impressive forms which each have a set of particle effects and textures that represent a variety of magical elements like twirling leaves of Nature and flickering flames of Magma.
The Pulsefire Caitlyn Skin features a new model, texture, splash image, animations, visuals and new voiceover and sounds. Caitlyn also has an incredible sci-fi inspired outfit, over-sized energy cannon and a several unbeatable custom animations.
The Arcade Ahri Skin features a new model, texture, splash image, animations, visual effects and new sounds that are a blast-from-the-past back to the retro design of characters in the ‘80s and ‘90s games. Arcade Ahri is dangerously adorable with chunky headphones, cat ear speakers, a hand-held, belt-mounted console, rainbow-colored tails, and stylish purple hair for a super-cool effect.
The Hextech Chest is a skin that is currently available in all regions. New players can get it by hitting level 5 on their LoL accounts. Players who hit level 5 before the Hextech Chest was available through the hextech crafting gameplay rewards system received a different reward of similar value. Hextech Annie is one of the skins from the Hextech Chest. She’s everyone’s favorite combination of sweet, spicy and nice with enough feisty to get the job done.Find out more about the hextech system here.
The Grey Warwick Skin is a super-cool, League of Legends skin that was updated in 2017 and now looks more amazing than ever! We really like this one because it has new animations and upgraded graphics. Plus, it really doesn’t hurt that you can get Grey Warwick pretty easily.
The Medieval Twitch Skin is a super-rare LoL skin that was released in 2010 that used to only be available through Riot’s Refer-a-Friend until 2015, when the program was discontinued! This skin features visual and skill animations and graphic design features that you will find completely irresistible!
