not an "alex turner has secret social media accounts because how can he not be curious about what people say about him" kind of fan or an "alex turner is technologically inept and can't work a smartphone" one but a secret third thing (a logical human being who recognizes the nuance of appreciating the practicality of new technologies whilst having no desire to indulge in mindless meaningless scrolling through corporations' posts and other people's thoughts)
#meaning of course he has a spotify account and texts his friends#he absolutely does not know what an instagram story is though#of course he reads the news every morning on the bbc news app#does he know that sometimes his name is a trending topic on twitter? of course not#you know?#alex turner

Idol: Wong Kahei (Loona)
marshmallow: Since there's still no Vivi scenario 👀 how bout a fluff one where during idol room the host (d*ni and c*ni) were joking around saying that the 13th member is the ugliest and dumb and didn't have her any chance of answering when they play a guessing game. Basically treating her badly then the others. So after the show Vivi notice she's been feeling down for a couple of weeks and not really acting like how she use to so Vivi comforts her with other members🥺💜
A/n: finally my first Vivi request, done. also i hate d and c for various reasons that i cannot discuss or else i just might not write anymore
☕buy me a coffee☕
You were used to hate comments thrown your way.
You were used to fans comparing you to the other members.
You were used to people still questioning why you were added in the Loona lineup.
They’ve stopped bothering you after a while, your members making sure that you didn’t believe the things other people said and assured you that you were just as important to the group as any of them,
However, you were not used to being publicly humiliated, and on live television, no less. So when Coni had made the careless comment about how you may not even give your team a chance at winning, you that was already enough to knock your excitement down, given that you had been looking forward to spending time with your members during your visit to Idol Room.
“Y/n.” Doni had called for your attention and you look up, blinking by the suddenness as he addressed you. “What are you in charge of?” He questioned and you felt a little bit more relieved with the question. “Well, all the members are good at everything. So we just sometimes switch on who takes the lead.” You explain and he nodded his head.
“So that means you stay at the back?” He joked, the two hosts soon cracking and you smile awkwardly with all the cameras rolling whilst your members looked a little surprised by the comment. “With so many members, I feel bad that you’re always overshadowed by their beauty and talents.” Coni then added and that had caused you to press your lips together in a thin line whilst Sooyoung looked a bit offended with what he was insinuating.
But you didn’t want to cause a scene, so you went along with it and chuckled lightly. “I guess so. My members are all really pretty and talented.” You miss the way Haseul glances at you, worry in her eyes, and Hyejoo silently glaring at the two hosts.
“Don’t worry. I’m sure a bit more practice and then you can reach your members’ level. Plus, you still have a lot to learn, your Korean is still barely understandable.” That had caused you to bite the inside of your cheek, deflating as they had addressed one of your worries when you first came to Korea.
It was no secret that you were insecure about yourself, especially with your communication skills, but the way the pair had blatantly called you out for it had only boosted that insecurity.
Your members couldn’t speak up, knowing that it wasn’t a good idea to make a scene, but luckily Hyunjin had been subtle with her attack, her face blank as she watched the two hosts.
“Y/n’s pronunciations are actually really good. She works really hard just so she makes sure that it’s easy for both her and the people she talks to.” Doni nodded his head in agreement. “Diligence is one of an idol’s key traits. Have more of it.”
They weren’t expecting the rebuttal, but Heejin had visibly grown uncomfortable and Yeojin shuffled closer to you when they were starting to realize how you were becoming more and more the target of the duo’s harshness.
Chaewon’s brows raised at the audacity they had to publicly shame you, but held her mouth shut when Jinsoul placed a hand on the small of her back.
They tolerated the rest of the show for the sake of the group’s image, but every comment thrown your way made them all increasingly upset, though you’re good with keeping up a façade just to keep the peace within the room for your members.
The pair made you feel more and more isolated as the show progressed. And while you did your best to participate, they seemed to make it a point that they weren’t at all interested in you being there. Throughout the whole segment, you could stay on your seat and watched as your members slowly began to be immersed in the games they had prepared.
Eventually, you had stopped trying and merely smiled, opting to be the spectator the hosts expected you to be, and merely clapped and congratulated your members when they had gotten an answer right.
In the end, you were just thankful that they had forgotten about you. It was better than being degraded and being the butt of the joke.
But as you left the set that day, you couldn’t say that you had the same level of energy compared to when you had arrived.
And no one could really blame you.
Right as the episode had aired, you made it a point to stay off of social media and threw yourself into work despite not really having to do so. The girls wondered and worried with you constantly heading to the company to practice, but no one seemed to have the capability of bringing it up or calling you out, not when you looked you were just about ready to fall apart at any given second.
Kahei could only watch as the days passed, hoping that you could recover and bounce back because she hates seeing you so down. She’s used to seeing you running around the dorm, running away from Jiwoo’s affectionate assaults or trying to get Jungeun to lighten up whenever she started scolding someone.
In the end, Jungeun and Sooyoung calls for majority of their attention, both looking unpleased as the girls came into the living room, minus you, Heejin, and Jinsoul due to your schedules.
“We need to talk.” Sooyoung announces while she grabs her phone from the table. “Is this about the laundry again?” Hyejoo groans, not wanting another lecture after the last time her pillow exploded in it, but the two older girls shook their heads, and the girls could see that this was a more serious topic.
“It’s about Y/n.”
Kahei stiffens and her hands clutch at the pillow resting against her lap before Haseul placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. “We know that she hasn’t been well.” Hyunjin muttered, frowning when she remembers how you’ve resorted to avoiding some of them now.
Jungeun taps on the blue bird icon before twitter popped up. She turns the device around to show the group what her and her fellow leader wanted to address.
ApologizeToY/n was under the trending topics and the sight of it made all the girls frown before they saw Orbits commenting about Coni and Doni’s clear and explicit mistreatment of you during the show and how uncomfortable you’ve been throughout it.
“This is everywhere and I doubt Y/n hasn’t seen it, either.” Chaewon sighed while slumping in her seat, arms crossed as she scuffed her slippers against the floor and Yerim pouted as she scanned through the tags.
“Can I just say how I hated how they treated her?” Hyejoo speaks up, and honestly, no one could blame her. They all felt the same thing, so it wasn’t something they could hold against her.
Kahei pulls her pillow close to her chest, her mind replaying the hesitant look on your face whenever you were all together. You didn’t have to tell her, but she could see the insecurity in your eyes every time she would see you looking at everyone.
It was as though you were silently comparing yourself to them.
“Is there something we can do?” Haseul asks, hoping for any suggestions that would help ease the situation, but no one can think of anything at that moment and Kahei looks up at the leader with her lips pressed together. “Would you mind if I talk to her first?”
The girls know that there was something that was going on between you and the eldest member. Though neither of you have confirmed anything, they knew that Kahei’s affections for you were on a far more different level compared to the way she would take care of the rest of the members.
So, without arguments, the girls agreed, whisking Jinsoul and Heejin away when the three of you arrive after a long day and Kahei thinks that it’s the best time as any, now that you were alone in your room with everyone preparing whatever it was they decided would help cheer you up.
“Y/n?”
The call of your name is enough to make you roll over on your side, spotting the older girl peeking inside your room with a small smile gracing her lips. She knows that you’re tired, but she doesn’t want to keep seeing you look so down.
“Unnie, what’s up?” You try to casually ask, sitting up in bed and indicating for her to come in, which she does without hesitation, quietly shutting the door behind her before she had walked over to your bed and took the space you made for her to sit next to you.
Her embrace is something you easily welcome, the tension leaving your body, even just for that moment when you lean against her. You let out a deep breath and she squeezes your shoulders before a kiss was placed atop your head.
“I just wanted to make sure you were okay.” She whispers softly and you immediately frown at the implication. Of course the girls could pick up on your withering state. They made it their personal mission to look after you ever since you arrived.
“I know you won’t say anything first, so I’ll be the one to do it.” Kahei cuts you off from thinking further as she speaks. “What they told you back at the Idol Room, it’s not true, okay?”
She shifts so that she’s looking at your face, one hand cupping your jaw so that you can’t look at anything but her because she needs you to listen to her instead of your thoughts.
“You’re an amazing singer, Y/n. Frankly, you’re perfectly fine the way you are and I hate how you’re letting these two people who know nothing about you make you feel like you’re not worth being here when you are.” Her voice is firm as she speaks, making sure to get her message across because she knows that you’re often too stubborn to believe them when they compliment you.
“We’re young and our career is only just beginning, so there will always be room for improvement. Plus, we’re both not from Korea, so of course not everything will be as easy for us as it is for the others, but has that ever let you down before?”
She doesn’t let you answer when she continues, not once breaking eye contact. “Everyone is here to help us. We’re a team for a reason. While we won’t always excel, we’re always going to wait for each other because that’s what a team - what a family does. So please, stop thinking that you’re worth less than anyone here because you’re just as important.”
Her voice grows softer after each word when she ends her sentence and you’re incredibly calmed by it as she brushes her thumb gently against your cheek when her forehead lightly bumps against yours.
“You don’t know understand how much it hurts to see you like this and all I want to do is take that pain and doubt away.” She murmurs and you shut your eyes, basking in the warmth that she had so easily provided before feeling soft lips pressing against your forehead.
You both stay like that for a while, just cuddling on your bed with her fingers combing through your hair. She doesn’t probe you on how you’re feeling, but seeing that you weren’t frowning nor were your shoulders slumped made her feel that you were a little bit better compared to before.
It’s when her phone vibrates with a text from Haseul that Kahei looks away from you and her brows pinch together when she sees it.
Why would the leader have to text her when she was just outside?
everything’s ready!
Confused, Kahei forgot that the girls were all getting something ready for you in the living room. So with a quick okay, the older girl gives you a small nudge before she’s nodding to the door. “The girls are calling for us.”
You don’t say anything, but the confusion is clear on your face as Kahei takes your hand and leads you outside, a smile on her face when she intertwines her fingers with yours just as you spot the rest of your group huddled together and you can’t help cracking a smile at how comedic they all looked.
Sooyoung looked awkward as she offered you a smile, Jungeun standing next to her, looking as though she had just finished scolding the younger girls who were trying their best to keep the snacks on the table while, for some reason, their own favorites kept disappearing, only for Hyunjin to place them back.
Heejin was silently counting everything to make sure that they had enough, only to restart every time Hyunjin would put the stolen snacks away and ensuing the pair to start arguing whilst Yeojin finished another one of her bead rings and Haseul just shook her head as Jinsoul tried to bite back her laughter while telling Jiwoo to keep her voice down.
“What are you doing?” You ask, an amused lilt to your tone as you properly assessed your members while Kahei grins and shakes her head, mimicking your leader when everyone snaps their attention to the two of you.
“It’s movie night!” Yerim happily announces while she’s trying to keep the remote away from Hyejoo’s hands and the latter grumbles. “I want to pick the movie!” She exclaimed, but Chaewon plucked the remote from Yerim’s hands, an already opened snack in her other hand. “We should ask Y/n what she wants to watch.”
“But unnie!” The second youngest was already staring at you with her puppy eyes that she often uses on you when she wants you siding with her and you smile softly before pulling Kahei to join everyone else in the living room.
Haseul slips next to the older girl, smiling when she sees the look the other sends you as you accept the bead ring Yeojin offers whilst trying to control the other two maknaes.
“Things went well, I hope?” The leader questions and Kahei hums with a fond smile playing at her lips. “I guess so.” She replies, seeing that you were slowly reverting back to your cheerful self when Heejin and Jiwoo join in on the pile you’ve all ended up in when Hyejoo tried stealing the remote again.
There’s laughter echoing in the dorm, add Jungeun’s slight screeching and Sooyoung’s scolding, but Haseul bumps her shoulders with Kahei while everyone is busy doing their own thing and finally picking a movie to watch. “So, have you both properly talked about it or...?”
Kahei stares at you when Jiwoo and Jinsoul begin to press kisses on your face, Yeojin coming in right after, and she smiles a little to herself. “Not yet, but we’re getting there.”
And honestly, that was enough for her as she soon took the spot next to you once given the chance and her arm loops with yours before she’s laying her head on your shoulder.

Cancel Culture and “Educating” On Twitter
WARNING: THERE IS A LOT OF BIAS AND OPINIONS IN THIS, I WAS JUST RANTING MY THOUGHTS ON TWITTER.
thank you and enjoy :D
Before quarantine, many content creators were not as big as they are now—Dream, Tommyinnit, Tubbo, Ranboo, Corpse, so on so forth. They have grown enormously ever since the start of lockdown. With growing that fast in under a year, a vast fanbase starts to form as well. Twitter has now almost wholly controlled the MCYT fandom (Minecraft Youtubers) and having at least one to two things on the trending tab about their content creators. Many things can go wrong with a huge fanbase. But having a fanbase that is controlling a big social media site makes it worse. We have seen some of those moments throughout this year.
Twitter has two sides when they want to give content creators criticism. It’s either “educating” them with threads or just bluntly saying how they need to get better. However, both things start with the “trigger warning” represented like this: //(insert content creator name) neg. The neg is short for negative. Many of those negative thoughts get trending whenever a content creator does something their fandom doesn’t like. It’s almost expecting them to be perfect. They analyze every tweet and move their content creator makes. Once they finally find them trip a little, they announce it. Now there are some relatively rare times where Twitter is correct. As in making content creators stop some type of ACTUAL hurtful behavior. (when I refer to actual I mean behavior that affects EVERYONE on social media, not just Twitter. So, when people on other social media sites are talking about it, and are having similar views.) In this situation, you would expect them to use the educating type of idea. Well, no. Twitter users like to make it more threatening, and from what I understand, it makes the content creators understand better…? This is just wrong and disgusting to find these tweets about these small mistakes these content creators make.
Talking about those content creators. Each of them resolves the problem(s) differently. It’s either writing a lengthy apology on Twitter or apologizing on stream. Sometimes, their apologies are well made, and Twitter is happy. But if they are not good enough, people would tweet things as in, “what a half-hearted apology” or “what type of apology is that”. Usually, those apologies that aren’t the best are like that because of constant Twitter pressure. Yup, who would have known. If a content creator is still active during the trending of their name, like trying to get a video out, Twitter will start attacking them. In short, Twitter expects the BEST apology in a short amount of time. What they don’t understand is that content creators also need to figure out what the hell they did wrong. It’s not easy. Twitter doesn’t understand the stress of having thousands of people constantly attacking you on the spot. Twitter just thinks they know.
Now, you see how I keep referring to Twitter and only Twitter. Well, on other platforms like Tumblr and Youtube, people have very different opinions compared to Twitter. If it’s something to do with people of color (POC), Twitter is the one to over-react in these types of situations, while POC on other platforms seems to just laugh at that joke. Most of these “over-reactions” are because most of these people tweeting are white, not POC. Pretty much, it’s just white people speaking for POC. To make it clear, if you are someone who is ACTUALLY hurt by what the joke targets, go ahead and voice your opinion. It's just, I HATE IT when white people speak for POC. Expressed by many POC, they don’t like that and never will. So, in short, Twitter is just a place with overly sensitive users. (haha)
Now, my opinion on this whole thing. As a POC, most of these jokes that seem to hurt Twitter are honestly not that bad; they are pretty funny. Sometimes, I don’t understand how people get so overly sensitive over those jokes. I'm not saying that you can't hate on them. It's human nature, you gotta at least dislike something in life. I've seen it many times, people on Twitter like to put a trigger warning to the person and content creator Schlatt. Haha, yea, A REAL PERSON. I get it, he has made some REALLY messed up jokes, that I don't even find funny, but putting a trigger warning. Come on now. The real problem with Twitter I have had for a long time is how they can take things WAY TO FAR.
Two good examples are the Karl Jacobs drama and Tommyinnit drama. Karl Jacobs is a friend of the famous Youtuber, Mr. Beast, and a part of the DSMP (Dream SMP). Some old tweets were resurfaced about Karl supporting a content creator that has said slurs and very racist jokes. Of course, Twitter starts their routine by trending the two words, “karl neg.” This is trending for a few days. Eventually, Karl begins to stream for this whole drama on Twitter. His apology was acceptable, but the thing that pissed me off was when someone had called Karl asking him if he had eaten. Twitter had affected Karl’s health, causing him to starve himself. This is quite similar to what happened to Tommy. Twitter had affected his health, but instead of apologizing, they use that against him. Tommy streams on his alt account, and the stream was just a QandA stream. Eventually, they hit the topic of “tommy neg.” (He streamed a day after tommy neg was trending) He starts apologizing but started mixing his words up. He was very nervous and anxious about the whole thing. Why do you think he was scared? Twitter! Haha… He starts going on the topic of him going to therapy. A few minutes, tommy neg is trending AGAIN. Two days in a row. On the first day, there were some good tweets about whatever Tommy had done, but the second one was just stupid remarks towards Tommy. People on Twitter used his anxiety and therapy talk against him. They were still getting mad at him. This was vile to see and read. Who has the guts to use someone’s mental health problems against them? Oh well, that’s Twitter for you. Continuing about Tommy’s alt stream, there were multiple times when he looked like he would have a panic attack or just start breaking down. His whole stream lasted for about an hour. Eventually, tommy neg was filled with people with the same opinions as me. Such as how horrible it was to see people use his therapy against him.
In short, Twitter has become a very toxic place for both people in the fandom and their content creators. They are affecting mental health as well. Having many white people speak on our behalf in these jokes or stereotypes is tiring. We understand you have the privilege, but please use that privilege when it is ACTUALLY needed. Honestly, I find it so funny yet heartbreaking that white people are over here trying to "teach" a GAMER about how to be better when they can use that "white privilege" for other topics that are ALSO discussed on Twitter. (yea! other topics are discussed on the platform! I was even surprised) The DSMP fandom on Twitter is just a place of overly sensitive users.

Stan Twitter
[Midoriya + Todoroki + Bakugou + Kaminari] and their secret stan accounts.
A/N: Gender neutral reader and [H/N] stands for [Hero Name]. Aged-up AU and everyone is already a Pro-Hero. Kinda SMAU?
Disclaimer: I recently became aware that the word “simp” has been appropriated from AAVE. As someone who is not from the black community, I genuinely apologize and I don’t have an excuse for my ignorance. I am removing it from these hcs! I consider myself an ally (but I clearly have a lot of work to do) and it is my own fault for not educating myself, which I hope to do more of in the future.
I also have to give credit where credit’s due I love @myherowritings ‘s SMAUs and was inspired to write this from their works so please check them out if you’re reading this!
Izuku Midoriya:
Goes the whole mile. Has a [Name] stan account with 10k followers. Interacts with other [H/N] stans regularly. Retweets edits and compilations. Makes his own fancams and edits.
Vote [H/N] for the top ten @[H/N]might345 I am so lucky to be able to get the entire @official[Hero Name] x @Super_Groupies collaboration collection!! It sold out within minutes! 💨💨 It was kinda stressful haha. 😅 Thanks again to everyone who supported our favorite Hero! http://bit.ly/G4peUrTd36A
Vote [H/N] for the top ten @[H/N]might345 Thank you to tik tok user @rainbowinureye for giving me permission to post their playdate edit of [H/N]! It’s so well done and the cuts and the scenes line up perfectly 😊 http://m.tiktok.com/WrqKOXWpYbU
Vote [H/N] for the top ten @[H/N]might345 I made another [H/N] edit to the song “This is Love” by Illene Woods slowed and pitched version 😊💕💕 Please tell me what you think and how I can improve! http://bit.ly/dK9-c7QOcWg
Of course it’s edited perfectly with all of the clips synced up perfectly?? It’s a byproduct from his All Might days. He’s still sure to respond to every person who gives him constructive criticism on how to improve his edits.
Unintentionally becomes a meme?? Becomes known as the fanboy to end all fanboys. Like this guy is EVERYWHERE. He’s in the comments of every [H/N] funny moments and [H/N] battles but every fight is poorly edited to the sound of vines and every official interview posted by official YT channels.
Stream Fine Line @randomaccount360 The wildest thing about Twitter is that one [H/N] stan account that comes running whenever you mention their name.
Vote [H/N] for the top ten @[H/N]might345 replying to @randomaccount360 hahaha! I am here! 😁
High-key people think that he’s one of those stalkerish fans?? Like he’ll post pictures of you eating at super close angles that no other news site has and it isn’t like a pic a fan has asked for either... it’s like a candid photo of you shoveling back food
But you guys are legitimately dating?? He lives with you?? It’s just so embarrassing to know that he runs this popular stan account of you that you rarely bring it up asdfg ;; You ;; politely look away.
Vote [H/N] for the top ten @[H/N]might345 Isn’t @official[Hero Name] the cutest? Here’s them eating the souffle pancakes at Flipper's! It was super good! http://bit.ly/fQE__7riZko
Mashomallow @mashomallowfood replying to @[H/N]might345 OP how do you know what the pancakes taste like
Pinky step on me @Minastannn replying to @mashomallowfood OP pls respond it’s a legit question
thehighground @ayeyeye replying to @[H/N]might345 @official[Hero Name] if you are in danger please wink twice
OHH if you get hate?? He will respectfully put that person in their place in the most eloquent way possible. Five pages, doubled-spaced, MLA format, works cited page.
[H/N] > Deku >:( @[H/N]might345 It has recently come to my attention that people online have been saying that Deku is a better hero than [H/N] and I am here to say that is not the case. Not only is pitting two heroes against each other extremely toxic but [H/N] has shown time and time again that they are the more successful Hero. [1/24]
Show this thread
He exposes himself by being tagged in those “Get to know them better” trends and it wasn’t like he was ever hiding the fact that he ran the stan account so he has no problem doing it. He’s so casual with posting a selfie of himself and saying his name and likes and dislikes but the people who tagged him just thought that he was just a regular fan?? Not Pro-Hero Deku??
#WTFDeku is trending for a whole day in Japan.
It answers a lot of questions but opens up more.
Everyone legit thought that @[H/N]might345 was just a rich kid with a lot of free time this whole time. But no?? It was Number One Hero Deku?? Does he make the edits when he’s fighting villains or something asdfg
It makes him so happy though!! You guys would be chilling and his phone dings from notifications and he’s turning to you so happily like, “Look, [Name]! Another popular fan account retweeted my compilation of you! I can’t believe they noticed me!” Asdf i love this boy.
Shoto Todoroki:
LOOK even before you two debuted as Pro-Heroes he was your number one stan buying all the merch, watching all of the interviews.
Interacts with other fans occasionally. 5K followers. Verified by Twitter for some reason. Has a generic name like @[Name]snumberone and thinks that it’s polite to always end his posts with a simple :)
He’s told you about his side account before, but you know that he has one dedicated to Endeavor hate, so you always think that he’s referring to that one.
Horny on main for some reason?? People think that he’s socially inept and doesn’t really understand a lot of jargon or slang, but thanks to Kaminari and all of the other stans he’s studied up because he thinks that’s how you’re supposed to talk on the internet.
Like someone will post a pic of you holding something between your thighs like a water bottle or your phone or wallet while you tie your hair up or sign something for a fan and he’ll be like “goD i wish that was me.”
it’s photosynthesUS @queenking[H/N] Can you believe that there are people out there that don’t think about [H/N]’s thighs at least once a day?? coughcough anyWAY on an unrelated topic here’s several pictures of those beautiful legs http://bit.ly/pH6KeOjpKeI
[H/N]’s biggest fan @[Name]snumberone replying to @queenking[H/N] I can die happy if those legs suffocated me
[H/n]’s biggest fan @[Name]snumberone Another fan messaged me saying that they liked my account :) thank you. I love [H/N] more than anything.
[H/N]’s biggest fan @[Name]snumberone Someone messaged me this from a site called Archive of Our Own? They said since I like [H/N] so much I would like this. It’s pretty enjoyable :) although kind of OOC? (is that right?)
[H/N]’s biggest fan @[Name]snumberone I thought I would try my own hand at [H/N] fanfiction since it was so fun to read I binged the entire tag last night :) But please be warned that it’s not for underage readers.
Would try to fight the haters in the most passive-aggressive and aggressive-aggressive way possible. He had no problem with trying to square up against the chief of police and he’s incredibly stubborn. He immediately responds to their post and tries to shut it down as quick as possible and sometimes it’s ;; kinda hurtful
One time a hater account was spreading negative things about you and after Shoto came on the scene they quickly ended their thread with a “Of course [H/N]’s white knight came to save the day again 🙄🙄
Within the next hour he changed his bio to “[H/N]’s white knight”
Doesn’t get that trend where after someone posts something thirsty about someone else another user will reply by thanking them for something random?
[H/N]’s biggest fan @[Name]snumberone Has anyone seen [H/N]’s arms after their most recent fight with a villain? They can break my back like a glowstick :) and stick their tongue down my throat ig
Stradandelous @pikadeegeek replying to @[Name]snumberone Thank you for paying for my anger management classes :))))
[H/N]’s biggest fan @[Name]snumberone replying to @pikadeegeek Oh, do you have me confused for someone else? I know that @realbakusatsuou needs anger management lessons
He gets exposed after someone posts a picture of you and him smiling at each other cutely and someone responds with “🥺🥺 get someone who looks at you the way Shoto looks at [Name] and soba. It must be nice to kiss one of the cutest Heroes of the century”
[H/N]’s biggest fan @[Name]snumberone replying to @bossbiccc Thank you but soba will always be number two to [Name] :) and it was nice.
Everyone then collectively LoSeS their minds and connects the dots like hUH?? You included!! You aren’t spared from this shit!! You spend your whole day with your jaw dropped to the goddamned grOUND as you scroll through his side account. Did he try all of that before or AFTER writing his fanfiction??
Endeavor gets news of it and learns just how horny his youngest son is and nearly goes into cardiac arrest.
He just slurps his soba when everyone under the sun confronts him about it and he’s just like “what about it?”
Katsuki Bakugou:
About 600 followers. Doesn’t interact with anyone other than retweeting posts and liking them. Rarely comments. Never answers DM’s. Only follows one person and that’s @official[Hero Name].
You don’t know about it. No one knows about it. If he had it his way, no one will ever know about it.
Occasionally he posts, but it’s mostly him flaunting the fact that he got limited edition or super expensive [H/N] merch that gets sold out in seconds and he’s super fucking smug.
my hero [Name] @[H/N][Name] check out my limited edition [H/N] figurine. their costume is covered in real strakowski crystals. they did a good job with the face too.
Whatcanisayyyy his parents are designers. He has a taste for the finer things in life.
He’s not much of a texter in general? So he doesn’t go off on lengthy arguments with people who post hate like the other two. Surprisingly mature when he does this. He reports or blocks them, but he’s always proud to know that these lowlife people can’t bring up a good argument because he always finds holes in their points. (They also don’t have the whole story. Which is? He loves you.)
NEVER retweets or likes content that involves you and another Hero being shipped together. Purely Ground Zero x [Hero Name] only. Who gives a damn that Creati x [Hero Name] got the most votes from the Official [H/N] Fan Club?? Bakugou ,,, does not see it.
Kinda boring really ;; he only has that many followers because he only retweets the BEST [Name] content and he’s fucking proud of it.
He gets exposed when you and he get dragged to a club with Bakusquad one day. You’re on the dance floor with Mina and Sero and he’s just reclining in the booth retweeting paparazzi pictures of you that night and Kaminari manages to sneak up behind him and takes a picture of him without him noticing. People ofc zoom into his phone screen and find out that hE FUCKING HAS A WHOLE STAN ACCOUNT DEDICATED TO YOU?? When y’all are dating?! He’s retweeting photos of you in your outfit that night when he was right there?? He sometimes uncharacteristically comments 🥺 or 😍 or “my love”???
The goddamned UWUs that are passed around that night!!

Unlike the others his official twitter IS his [Name] stan page.
He’s going back and forth from posting about his battles, his promotional content, and then splits them all with retweets that are like “I’ve NEVER wanted to hold a hand so bad before in my life. I SWEAR!”
IMAGINE if he did have a stan account though. He would be going back and forth between his official and stan account and like fake beefing with each other.

Since he’s a Pro-Hero and therefore a public figure, sometimes he gets flagged by karens on the internet for saying stuff like “pls sit on my face [Name]” on his official twitter and he always replies to comments that are like “Think about the children!” with “This AINT about them!!”
If his S/O is getting hate he’ll reply to them such as

Because he’s not hiding anything he’s able to interact with your page freely and most of the time his retweets get more likes than your tweet because he’s just randomly thirsty without it having anything to do with your og tweet.
He tries tik tok trends on you and reposts it on his twitter as well. He tried the “getting naked in front of partner” challenge while you were in the middle of working at your desk at home and you just looked at him like “Put some clothes on HOE” while laughing and getting back to work.
He posts Boyfriend ASMR POVs but most of them are like self-indulgent fanfiction and he’s talking to “[Name]” instead of making it open to everyone.
Everyone in Class 1-A clowns him so hard for this.
Present Mic plays one of them during his radio one day as a request from a listener and he had to leave the room but since he’s so loud his laughter was basically the only thing people hear.

Hi all!
As usual, I owe all of this to the wonderful world created by @lumosinlove. 🙏🏻
I love Kris so much. Single dad, hockey star is a mood. Apologies in advance. 😇
Enjoy!
Sweater weather chats #2
Kris joins a super secret club. Lily gets emotional. We get introduced to the bat cave. Kris is a cautionary tale for the rookies. Or that’s what Nado days. Kris is also an honorary mom. Celeste reminisces. Kasey, Nado and Kuny babysits. Everybody loves Remus. Ava wants a pony. Natalie has plans. SO MUCH BROMANCE.
—————
Emotional support group and Remus 🤩🥰🏒:
Friday 3.32 pm
NatNat added Kris to the group.
Allison: do I spy a new member? Welcome to the dark side, Kris. The rules are simple - this is a safe space for us to discuss our men, babies and other related topics.
Lucia: also, never tell the boys what happens at brunch. 😁
Celeste: welcome Kris. We thought you’d enjoy coming to brunch with us - Ava is always welcome.
Kris: woah? What is this? Shit. I’m honored. Also Remus? Wtf.
Remus: hi kris yeah I don’t know how I was allowed in, but it’s nice. 😁
NatNat: well Dumo might be the honorary dad but Kris is totally the honorary mom on the team. He wiped Gatorade off of Leo’s face last game. It was adorable 😍😍😍
Kris: well James did unscrew the top as a prank, not actually sure it’s a prank if you do it every game. And Leo didn’t realize. And he’s weird about not taking his blocker off. Had to help the kid out. 😆
Allison: well it made us enroll you in our secret and sacred club. Welcome! 🤩
NatNat: i forgot to send this on Wednesday!! Baby Russian with baby puppies
*kuny puppy pic*
GingerLily: awwww he looks so happy. James said he’s been depressed he cannot train this week. I love this. 😍
Anyaismyname: my baby. I knew him from he was 16. Such a sweet boy.
Kris: sweet? Are we talking about the same Kuny? He taught Ava to cuss a ref and last time the media asked her what she thought of the game and my playing, she parroted that. I had a trending tag for a month after that on Twitter😔
NatNat: I’m not condoning it but it was hilarious. I cried. But seriously he adopted a cat and named her Aya and they send me selfies with her every 7 minutes. They built her a castle in their ridiculous bat cave game room. 😅👑🐱
Remus: the bat cave is awesome. They’ve got pro surround sound and all. And a real slushee machine. 🤖 also kris, coach want you all back on the ice in 10.
NatNat: yeah haha kase is excited to go for halo night. Apparently they’ve got some sort of new VR stuff for practicing as well. 🏒🏒🏒
Celeste: Kris, don’t worry about the curse words. Marc spent three months yelling fuck at everything after Logan accidentally taught him. They get over it quick and the fans love you even more after that - haven’t you been on the most eligible list for your entire career? Also, didn’t Anya tell Kuny’s mom?
Anyaismyname: da, and believe me, Scolding work better in Russian. And I promised her to look out for her boy.
Kris: thanks guys, I know. I was just shocked. She’s my baby and sometimes I just can’t handle how quick she grows... it’s not fair... and yeah, apparently a single dad with a travel heavy job is eligible. Weird.... also - the boys’ game room is amazing and they did set up a my little pony game for her last time on the projector. Be there in three Re!!! 🏃♂️
GingerLily: awww I cant believe she was a baby when I first met her. She grows sooo quick! 😍
Kris: well it’s you soon! Good luck - you think you know what love feels like but. Damn, a baby just changes things. ☺️
GingerLily: we’re starting on the nursery next week and I can’t wait. James is hopeless with tools though but we’ve decided on a color theme at least 🥰🥰🥰
Celeste: mmh, that is always a big moment. I remember when I was pregnant with Adele, Pascal was still just settling into the Lions and we’d already moved twice, but something changed when we started working on the nursery. It got real then - he didn’t get the puck theme he wanted but nevertheless, I think that was when he really realized he was about to become a father 😍
NatNat: awwwww, can’t even imagine you two without your babies 😁
Celeste: me neither, honey, me neither. 😉
Friday, 4.38 pm
Kris: Natalie do you think we could find a puppy for Ava? We could house train it during off season and she’s been begging for a puppy for a while and i really want one too and hopefully with a puppy the “I want a pony” phase can be forgotten! :)
NatNat: of course!!! Also shouldn’t you be at training?
Kris: We finished 5 minutes ago. :) also thanks for cheering Kuny up, he was allowed to do stretches today.
NatNat: oh god. Forget the time out here. Is kase done too?
Kris: yeah but he’s currently unavailable. Something about hug a goalie day *pic of kasey and Leo, on the ice under a mountain of players*
GingerLily: 🤦🏽
Celeste: on another note my lovelies. I would love to host brunch next Sunday! We have full attendance - Elsa is visiting from Sweden! :) please let me know how many babies you’re bringing.
Sunday 7.03 am
Kris: hi Celeste. I’m really sorry to do this last minute but ava’s mom has cancelled again and I can’t get a sitter this late. I’d love to come for brunch next time though.
Celeste: oh my dear. Bring her. It’s absolutely no problem.
NatNat: hey kris. Kasey is going to nado and Kuny and he says they’re happy to babysit. Also he wants to know why you and Remus are invited to brunch. Don’t tell him anything. 😉😉😉
Kris: oh I don’t want to be a problem they probably don’t want a 4-year old to disturb their halo game...😬
NatNat: it’s not a problem at all :) (also need kase to practice - not getting any younger here 😏🤩)
Kris: well if it’s really no problem I know Ava would love to spend time with them. :) also totally rooting for baby blizzards soon!
———-
Blizzard created a new group: Babysitting
Blizzard added RussianGod, Nadotheman and KrisVolley
Blizzard: hey guys. Quick change of plans. Ava is hanging out with us today. Kris is going to brunch with the girls?! Said we’d be happy to spoil baby munchkin and teach her more Russian curse words
RussianGod: ok. Can we eat cookie? Also no bad words. Don’t want more yelling from Anya. She scary.
Blizzard: season diet Kuny. Oreos are only for Ava. And isn’t Anya like 5.2?
RussianGod: nado is still sleeping. But we can go to park and meet ladies. They love single dad. But Anya is little but scary. Have you not see how she keep sergei in check?
KrisVolley; you are not using my baby to meet ladies. Haha oh never thought of that. Anya is always nice to me 😂
KrisVolley: Here are the ground rules gentlemen!!!!
1) no begging - you need to say no and stick with it, unless she’s crying properly don’t give in to her. She hissy cries when she wants things her way
2) not too much sugar and candy alright? (Looking at you Kuny)
3) Kuny and nado can’t use her as a ploy to ensnare women.
4) do NOT teach her any more Russians words unless they’re good, safe and cute words. The press still hounds me from the time you taught her to cuss a ref....
5) have fun and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do
Nadotheman: Morning boys. Also happy to babysit. But tHaNkS fOR aSkInG kase... 👍🏻 also @KrisVolley:
1) how the hell are we supposed to say no to that face? No idea how you made such a beautiful baby.
2) no problem. (Totally lying to you)
3) we would never use our baby niece in such a despicable way 😳 also it was one time and we can’t help that we are irresistible to baby-crazy ladies.
4) she can only scold a ref. According to Kuny totally safe and good words. Don’t believe what Sergei or Sunny says. Or the press.
5) so don’t knock up a fan at 18? Alright man got it.
KrisVolley: ....
Nadotheman: just keeping it real. You’re a cautionary tale for the rookies man. But your baby is cute. And you do a great job bro! 💪🏻
KrisVolley: I’m a what?? And thanks Nado. 😊
Blizzard: When you’re done with your moment.... I’m picking her up in five, can Nat go with you to Dumo’s? Ava and I will go have brunch at the bat cave and have an awesome time. And don’t worry. I’ll keep an eye on the boys.
KrisVolley: thanks Blizzard. Good practice as well 😉
Kuny: 👀👀👀👀 baby blizzard????
Blizzard: alright calm down m8. We’re not even married (no judging kris)
Nadotheman: whatever you say bro. You gotta make a baby with that girl - she swooned at family skate. Also we all saw you makin heart eyes at the Brady bunch. 😆😆😆😆
Blizzard: they’re adorable and this conversation ends here. We’re outside now Kris. Also don’t encourage Nat. I’ve got a plan. 😬
——-
Nado: Kuny. Kuny. Is it baby safe? They’re here in 15 minutes.
Kuny: why you text me? I’m next door.
Kuny: also yes is fine. Maybe get bra down. It been in fan for 3 days
Nado: you’re the tall one. Get it down.
Kuny: I not put it there.
Nado: fine you lazy jerk. I’ll get it down.
Kuny: 😘
Nado: fuck off. But I love you too bro.
—-
Until next time, my lovelies 🥰
Always open for ideas, prompts, constructive criticism!
Also - does hug a goalie day exist? I think it should.

Why marvel fans love Pepper but hate gwyneth? Someone on twitter said she was the most unrelatable celeb ever and in a magazine, people labeled her the most hated woman on earth. Did she do something problematic? Or she a Trump supporter?
You know, years ago I was kinda curious as to why everyone hated her so much. She's listed as Hollywood's most hated actress too. She's always on one of those lists.
Why Do So Many People Hate Gwyneth Paltrow?
Gwyneth Paltrow is perfectly aware of how obnoxious she can seem
Gwyneth Paltrow responds to that time a magazine named her The Most Hated Celebrity in the World
Why does everyone hate Gwyneth Paltrow?
Gwyneth Paltrow on Being the Most Hated Celebrity
And the list goes on.
Some people think she practices some dangerous spiritual teachings and she's giving people the wrong information. They also think she heavily promotes and sells questionable things that could be potentially dangerous. In some sense, this is true because medical professionals have been asked to check the products over. The majority of them say the products are not backed up by science and state that these items are actually dangerous. I think that she looks like a scammer in the eyes of other people because she sometimes falsely advertises her business and products.
Some others say her cosmetics are way overpriced and really bad for your skin. I heard a drama about some healing stickers, etc. As a spiritual person myself, I can't really judge that much until I see her Netflix show so I can't really agree or disagree in this matter.
About the other things. After doing some investigation, I found out the real reason. At first, I thought it was some quirky personality trait but then I saw most of her interviews, press conferences, and her business promos. She's not a bad person but she's definitely a little out of touch. I'm guessing because she grew up in a wealthy environment, she rules out some stuff when talking about sensitive topics. I take her as a "Paris Hilton, Kim K, and Mariah Carey" personality type, you know? Like, she puts up on a funny sophisticated diva-like personality but she's different in private. It’s funny because some people hate her but have no problems buying Kylie’s overpriced products either. I buy their products, mostly because I love skincare and makeup but you don’t see me hating on them.
I once saw a comment under one of her interviews saying: ‘and after watching this you think this woman is not married to Tony Stark?’ hahahahah. And gotta say, she's really funny lmaooo the other day I saw her in her youtube cooking show section (part of the Goop brand, I guess), she was doing holiday snacks. She started saying that anyone could do the ‘simple’ recipes at home and that they were practical or something like that. After saying that, you'd think she was about to do some Christmas cookies or some family recipe, instead, she put caviar on a chip and put the ‘snack’ on a fancy white plate lmaooooooooo I died and went to heaven. You can imagine the rest of the ‘holiday snacks’ that followed after that one. I'm not exactly rich as hell but let's just say I'm doing great with my finances thanks to my job (I thank God for that every day) so I'm usually around people like her, and this is why I can tell she's not a bad person, just out of touch. And what do I mean by that? Let me give you an example, after doing her ‘holiday snack lmao’ she started talking about how caviar is not necessarily expensive, she said that you don't exactly have to sell a limb to buy it and proceeded to say that she always serves the same thing at parties and that it's easy and practical to make. You get what I mean? For her, it's not a problem because she can afford it but for others, of course, it is. These kinds of comments come off as self-absorbed for other people.
Another one, let's just put the children's hospital example this time, any other person would bring toys, medical support, or coloring books, someone like Gwyneth would bring expensive silk pillows, salty crackers, or scented vanilla candles lmao. I'm not saying she's doing it on purpose, I think she's not aware she's doing something inaccessible for others because she's always in that mindset/environment. For her, it's not something harmful. Same with the avengers thing, you have Tom Holland saying ‘thank you’ and ‘I'm lucky to be here’ every five seconds when talking about his experience in the franchise, Robert saying he wouldn't be where he is without the amazing actors surrounding him; always making sure to give them an opportunity to shine, Elizabeth Olsen moved to tears when a fan tells her that Wanda is her daily inspiration, Don Cheadle talking about how the Avengers movies have been the experience of a lifetime and how fortunate he is to be part of something so big. Gwyneth, on the other side, forgets she was even in the movies, gives spoilers without a filter in a movie that is the result of 11 years of hard work about her and Tony's characters (this is how I found out Morgan was real btw like months before the movie even if I also suspected they were going to do this years ago), and forgets her co-stars names to the point they have to reintroduce themselves to her LMFAO I get that the marvel franchise is not her entire life and focus, but I think you get the point I'm trying to make. Or, she could be doing this on purpose to troll her haters.
She always does that. With everything. You just have to watch some of her interviews and you're going to be able to tell.
Someone on twitter said she was the most unrelatable celeb ever
Some people get mad when their fave turns out to be different in real life. Those people can't separate the fictional character from the actor/actress. Of course, she's not going to be like Pepper, I get that but some stans irrationally hate her for practically breathing. I understand that some of her opinions and actions seem a little materialistic and pretentious but she's not attacking anyone in particular. It's annoying? Sure, sometimes. Who wants to hear someone talk about their wealthy lifestyle when discussing sensitive or normal topics? No one. People love someone who they can relate to but you gotta understand Gwyneth is not doing it because she thinks she's better than you. That's just how her lifestyle is. Waaaay different than ours. The same applies to the other actors. You really think we're closer to having Zendaya's lifestyle only because we can relate to some of her jokes, because she wears baggy hipster clothes or because she uses less expensive skincare products for a ‘go to bed with me’ harper's bazaar video? (I love those videos btw lmao) No sweetheart, after doing an interview or those vids, they get escorted by their private security guards to the limo/expensive car waiting for them with a chauffeur ready to drive them to a photoshoot with vogue. Is that your typical Tuesday? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Or that we're one and the same with Sebastian Stan because he eats burgers on Thursdays and watches Rick and Morty in pajamas? (no idea if this is true, just an example) No. Of course not. They're celebrities, they get paid for showing their faces to the public. A simple statement out of them can make people talk about them for days. A simple selfie can turn into a Twitter trend. They're human? Sure, we have to respect that 100% but their lifestyle is totally different and this is something we should be aware of too. So we can't really expect Gwyneth to act just like us. I'm sure most of us would act the same as her if we were born in gold and caviar.
I once defended her in a YouTube comment section and some dudebro got angry at me and called me an ‘obsessive pepper x tony’ fan. *stares at the camera like in the office* I don't even ship pepperony lmaooooo
And I don’t know if she’s a Trump supporter, I’m going to dig around to see if this is true.
So there you go, that's my opinion. And no, I don't care if you agree or not (this is not for you, op) it's an opinion, chill.

Wireless (AjinWeek2020/6)
Day 6: Favorite AU! / Dotard + Call of Duty
By @ryokasmagic
Note: AU in which Satou is a Pro-Gamer.
…………
* Sam_The_Gaming_Man has started his first stream on Twitch! *
“Hello everyone, and good day from Tokyo!” The older man greets the audience with a bright smile, throwing up a peace-sign. He’s wearing a cap that’s covering parts of his face, but no-one can miss the mischievous glint in his eyes.
“First, I want to thank my over 1 million subscribers for making this possible by always watching my Let’s Plays- You guys are the real champions! Welcome to my debut stream!”
He tips his hat. “This whole social media landscape, if I may be honest with you guys, is quite the challenge for an old geezer like me. That’s why I have Oliver over here helping me out. Thank you, Oliver!”
Someone waves a walking stick in greeting in the background.
“And thank you to Terry and Garry, who carried all my equipment up here, and helped him install it.” He gestures around himself. “Here, you can see my entire setup!”
A photo briefly fades into the right corner of the stream, showing a desktop with two large monitors, a tower case standing at the bottom, a keyboard flashing in red, gaming mouse and various other electronics. “4 TB of storage and the best CPU on the market, according to Oliver!” He holds up his hands in resignation: “Please do not ask me for the details, I have long since given up on that particular aspect. I’m here for the game and the game only! As they say, I’m going in for the kill.” He chuckles.
A taller man appears in the background. “Eh- Sato- eh, Sam-san?” a voice asks uncertainly.
“Oh, Ted!” Sam beckons him closer in a gleeful voice, “Ted my man! Come here, come here! Say hello to our audience!”
Ted inches forward. He’s of above average height, his black hair is long and shaggy under a grey basecap, and he’s wearing a red sports-jacket. He also looks like he very much doesn’t want to be here.
“I’ve brought your refreshment.” Ted says, holding out a large glass filled with tea, ice-cubes, lemon, a straw and even a little turquoise umbrella on top.
“Ted, please, take a seat!” Sam insists and finally Ted does, sitting down on the stool next to him and hands him the glass, which he gratefully accepts.
“Thank you so much!”
Sam takes a large sip. Closing his eyes, he tilts back his head and lets out a content sigh. “Just what I need before a long streaming session. Ted, you really are an angel!”
Ted avoids looking at the camera. There’s a faint blush on his face.
“Can I go now, Sat- eh, Sam-san?”
Sam laughs, amicably patting his back. “Ahh, Ted always the shy one. Go on, I won’t keep you.”
Ted bows, mumbles his thanks and disappears in a flash.
“Where were we, where were we….” Sam studies the screen, “Right, today we will be tackling a very retro game, made possible by Oliver and his friend, the emulator. Super Mario Brothers, originally published for the NES! Haha, what a joy to go back to my roots!”
Sam takes another sip of his drink. “Mmm, delicious. On this note, a big thank you to my sponsors Nekozawa Tech! They have also gifted me this beautiful headset!”
He points to his face. The headset in question shines in a cardinal red, with cat-ears adorning the top.
“See, these can even be lighted up!” Sam explains, as he demonstrates, “It makes me feel right as though I bathed in the fountain of immortal youth!” He winks into the camera.
“And of course, it wouldn’t be complete without a high-quality microphone.” He continues, lovingly patting the device in front of him. “If this has wakened your gaming spirit, click on the link in my description and get 40% of your next Nekozawa Tech order with the code EmperorSam! And now, back to the game!”
He rubs his hands, smirking.
“I do hope I won’t regret my boastful words the second I start World 1, but if you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I’m quite the pro at this game in particular. So, in order to keep this whole stream a little more interesting and personal, feel free to ask any burning questions you may have. Terry and Gerry over here are monitoring the feed and will pick the most exquisite ones for when I pass a level! Right, you two?”
“Back to business, baby!” a cheery voice shouts.
Sam nods. “That’s what I love to hear. Ah, and now, to no longer keep you- let the Games begin!”
….
Sam breezes through the first two worlds in record-time, audibly having a blast while doing so.
Apparently, so is his audience. His viewer count has tripled by the time they reach World 4.
“Sam, ready for some questions?” a voice asks in the background.
“Ready as I’ll ever be, Terry!” Sam flashes a confident grin at the camera, stretching and tilting his neck from one side to the next, until it gives a satisfying crack.
“telomere_freak wants to know: “Don’t you think Sam_The_Gaming_Man sounds a little too peaceful for someone of your caliber? How about killer_grandpa_606 or murderous_maniac_xoxo.”
Sam laughs heartily in response. “What a great first question to start of the round! You have a point, telomere_freak, my bloodthirsty nature – in games, of course, only- “yet again, he winks at the camera, “is not as subtle as I believed. I’m quite content with my name, however I do want to honour such a creative suggestion.” He spins around in his chair.
“Hey, Oliver?”
“Yes, Sam?”
“Can you add: “Killer_Grandpa_xoxo” to my twitter bio?”
“Sure thing, boss.”
“Wonderful! Thank you again, telomere_freak for your question. Do we have any others, Gary?”
“We have one here from yuuandai.” A second voice announces in the background. Someone, presumably Terry, cracks up with laughter.
“Guys, seriously? I see what you did there, but that’s so freaking lame!”
Gary clears his throat. “Yuuandai wants to know: “What was your occupation before becoming a pro-gamer?”
“Quite the serious one here.” Sam muses, taking down his headset for a moment. “Well, I won’t disclose too many personal details, but I can say I dabbled in International Trade before deciding to retire at my desktop. It might be difficult to imagine me all fancy in a business suit, but back then, it payed the bills. And it taught a lot about strategy at the same time.”
He puts his headset back on. “And now, let’s get ready for some entertainment!”
……
World 4 is destroyed in an almost ridiculous amount of time.
“I’d really feel sorry for these turtles.” he comments, “If they weren’t such fun to jump on!”
Unexpectedly, World 5 proves to be more difficult than Sam had anticipated.
His good mood doesn’t drop in the slightest. On the contrary, it seems have been heightened.
“What a rollercoaster!” Sam calls out in exhilaration, pausing the game after yet another death, “That’s an enemy how I like them- difficult to predict, difficult to conquer. Alas, I will take a short break. Terry, if you please?”
“kurochan100 wants to know: Will you be joining us for the Call of Duty Tournament next weekend?”
“What a question, of course! That’s something that even early stage dementia won’t let me forget.” Sam laughs, “Just a joke, folks.” He smirks. “My old brain works a little better than Ted would like it to sometimes.”
As if on cue, the taller man appears behind him: “Sat-, eh, Sam-san. Your medication.” He fidgets, pill box in hand.
“Ted, you’re truly an angel! Don’t stand there, sit, sit. You know my female fanbase appreciates your cameos.”
“Do they?” Ted asks quietly, fidgeting but taking a seat as expected of him.
“Why wouldn’t they? We all need a savior like Ted when your own hips become one’s mortal enemy.” Sam sighs theatrically, waggling a finger at the camera.
He then swallows medication in one go with a generous sip of iced tea.
“#tenshited is trending.” Terry calls out from the back, as #てんしてど moves up to number one of Japan’s most popular twitter topics.
“Ahahaha, is it? See Ted, the ladies just can’t enough get of you!”.
Ted mumbles something incoherent, pulling his basecap even lower.
“Wait a second though- “Sam frowns, “What user asked about the tournament again?”
“kurochan100.” Gary says.
“Wait, is it the kurochan100? Terry, check that please.”
“On it, boss. Oh, speaking of the devil: “It is me. You better have your weapons ready on Saturday.”- kurochan100.”
“Of course, it is them!” Sam chuckles, and waves into the camera.
“Shout-out to kurochan100! She’s an up-and-coming streamer, and a living legend at Call of Duty. Even Ted has experienced the joy of being crushed by her before. Haven’t you, Ted?”
“I need to leave.” Ted mumbles, and promptly disappears from sight.
“Some losses take longer to get over.” Sam comments, with a wry smirk, “Well, give her a follow on her Twitch channel, you won’t regret it! Except of course, if you’re on the opposing team!” He laughs loudly.
“Let’s continue.” he announces, turning back to the game. There’s a vengeful glint in his eyes.
“I still have a World to take over.”

share the love con panels
thought i’d write down some interesting answers from the cast (there were many more, but i have a bad memory and i took only a few notes)
first of all, before the panels even started the staff told us not to ask questions about season four, we know they are filming it, but they can’t talk about it. so yeah, our hopes and dreams of an announcement or besse making a surprise appearance (🤡) didn’t come true. they never talked about it, when you mentioned it to them they raised their hands or zipped their mouths or were like “idk what u’re talking about 👀😇😬” so obviously they contractually have to keep their mouths shut. but it’s happening y’all!
the only one who slipped, at the very last panel, was rocco and i was the culprit lol. i asked them if they’d imagined the fandom would support them and fight so hard during the cancellation months and bea said no, seeing our hashtags trending almost every day and receiving so much love was touching and incredible. she made rocco talk (mentioned how “he became saint rocco”) and rocco also said he couldn’t imagine the amount of support, and that “the power is all in your hands, and it was worth it-“ and then realized he spoke too much dhshdhfvk the others side-eyed him and he was like “ops” but we all laughed and moved on.
pietro had a lgbtq+ themed panel with an italian youtuber called shanti. they talked a lot about representation, how it changed for the better in the last 20 years or so, how for example right now there’s attention being given to trans* storylines too, and pietro made some really good points about how a show like skam italia should give hope and a positive representation to a young audience, without unnecessary violence or struggles inserted just for tragedy’s sake. how it may seem that martino lives an “easy” and relatively painless experience coming out and being gay, at least in his season, but young queer people should hope and know that that’s possible for them too. he said that he and filippo are different, and it’s good and precious that they are. we don’t know if filippo is an activist, like pietro is, but sometimes sharing one’s personal experience is enough to help. even if filo is not shown as an activist, he is so aware of his identity, he shares his own experience and point of view with marti and it gives marti courage. and that’s enough. finally, i asked what his favorite lgbtq+ tv shows are and he said queer as folk (he realized he was gay thanks to qaf), he absolutely loved euphoria, and thinks sense8 is a masterpiece (but he didn’t finish it smh). he said elite is just cute (😤) and he also told another fan he finished and loved fleabag!!
i also asked pietro what he, besse, rocco and fede were doing in the carrefour parking lot that night in august and he said that supermarket is open 24h and close to his house and he had to go buy groceries so he caught two birds with one stone, called them up and they drank and ate tramezzini (cold sandwiches, besse got a burrito he said) in the parking lot... and yes, they were organizing the revolution.
fede said what he likes the most about martino is his devotion to the people he loves. what he doesn’t like is how sometimes he shuts out the rest of the world, but it’s a problem he has learned to solve.
rocco said he’s thankful that skam italia has given him more awareness on some topics he used to treat superficially. he also talked about how much he relied on ludo and his research to portray bpd respectfully, and he’s glad that people found themselves represented in nico and that he could help them. it’s the greatest compliment. his eyes shine when he talks about nico, he loves his character so much.
a fan asked what was their favorite line to say. rocco’s is “non è figo il mio tipo?”, greta’s is “gli dei sono immortali”, nicholas’s is “sei frocio?”, pietro’s is “l’acqua solo se mi prende fuoco camera” from season 3, fede said “does it have to be my line? cause i like no zì sbagliato” but for his own it’s “minuto per minuto”. i can’t remember bea’s 😭
greta said the girls tend to stick to the script a lot more than the boys, she said ludovico tersigni literally never says a line how it’s written. nicholas confirmed that the boys (contrabbandieri) tend to improvise more and use the script sort of as a base, and that they piss besse off because he says it looks like they go on set just to goof around and gossip and not to do their jobs lol
i asked nicholas if they ate luchino’s pizza crusts. he said he had like 7 kilos of them because they had to retake that scene many many times, cause they wouldn’t stop laughing, as we can see in the bloopers (he also said it was the most fun scene to shoot) and bessegato would just keep adding mustard, ketchup and mayo on them. he felt sick the day after and “tasted mustard for a week”. fyi, nicholas and luchino are literally the same person. there’s no line between the character and the person, i love him so much. he also said he was having the time of his life in bracciano, with the light summer breeze, while the others were dying in their clothes and blankets.
marti’s spirit animal is the fox, fede’s is a golden retriever (debatable but okay). i think rocco said a cat, greta said besse once told her silvia is a goldfish, bea feels like a tiger but thinks sana is an eagle and i didn’t get the rest cause it was all very confusing lol
federico’s panel on sunday was actually very interesting, he is actually quite eloquent and deep when he wants to. he talked about how he really took the “minuto per minuto” philosophy to heart. how he doesn’t set long-term goals for himself, because he wants the freedom to change. how he chose to study medicine because after high school he knew he wanted to keep studying, and a bit like acting, there’s a fundamental human aspect to it that he’s always been interested in.
a fan reminded him it was marti and nico’s anniversary and he said “how are they celebrating? patatine e marmellata or sushi? in nicco’s new house? have our heroes moved there?” and we were all like Bitch u tell us... ofc he didn’t. but he said he imagines marti and nico celebrating their anniversary at a sushi restaurant in porto fluviale, in ostiense (rome). also, fede says their anniversary is bracciano (dec 1st) and rocco says it’s nel mio letto (nov 1st), i’m afraid we have to go with fede on this one.
i think the best question out of every panel was about marti’s interest in gio: was it real, or was it just a fixation? he said it was real interest, that stayed over the summer too. he and ludo had to find a way to show the shift in martino, and it was hard because they switched seasons and so there was no time for it to be gradually shown. however, where they imagined that shift to happen, is in ep1 when gio sleeps in marti’s bed. marti feels uneasy because of his feelings for him, but at the same time, he is uneasy because of the guilt. when he talks with eva on the phone and sees how giovanni reacts to that, how he’s still so clearly into her, he decides he has to move on from him, and gives up any hope or idea to have a relationship with him.
at rocco and fede’s sunday panel, rocco said he admires federico’s dedication to his work and his professionalism. fede and him bantered and bickered a lot, it was adorable, especially when rocco said some nonsense metaphor and fede was like “basta!” and fede kept asking for more compliments. but the question was about what marti and nico liked the most about each other, and federico said “it’s the kind of love where you like someone so much and you don’t even know why” as in, because you like everything about them, so that was beautiful.
a fan asked if there was any embarrassment between them, they said of course initially there was a lil bit of awkwardness, but they warmed up to each other immediately. one of the very first scenes they shot was an intimate one, rocco said the first kiss they shot was nel mio letto and they’d never rehearsed kissing before. amazing.
fede’s favorite color is blue (nicholas’ too).
rocco and nicholas sat in the crowd at the end of fede’s panel and rocco was like “tell us the story of bambi” and fede called him “er lucertola” and said it all started because of a tossico (junkie/drunk), i love them. nicholas made fun of him for his role in “i cesaroni” but fede said he’s only jealous cause they auditioned for the same role but fede got it, and nicholas has him saved as “andy dei cesaroni” in his phone.
some anecdotes from other moments (m&g, dinners) i found on twitter: federico said when they shot la grotta, there was this whole solemn atmosphere, and then he broke it cause when they finished shooting he realized he had rocco’s snot on his face and he was like “MA CHE CAZZO È, CHE SCHIFO (what the fuck, gross)” and said rocco was always crying on him (i guess referring to the martino e niccolò clip) and rocco was like yes there was a significant exchange of bodily fluids. okay rocchì.
apparently fede likes his beard so much he said he doesn’t recognize himself without it.
some fans adopted two giraffes in the bioparco di roma in their name as a gift!
rocco cried on the phone with bessegato when skam italia was cancelled. we been knew but it hurts to get the confirmation.
maxence and lukas are two rays of sunshine. not an anecdote, but i felt like saying it.
last but not least, rocco, nicholas and fede went absolutely batshit over @crazybee‘s “alt er besse” shirt. their reactions were priceless. rocco and nicholas took pics of them, nicholas was the one who sent them to besse and he reposted it on ig. forever blessed.

jeon jeongguk . cis male . he/him / graeme bae just pulled up by blasting dirty little secret by all american rejects --- that song is so them ! you know , for a twenty three year old actor , i’ve heard they’re really gullible , but that they make up for it by being so tenacious . if i had to choose three things to describe them , i’d probably say tousled hair , triple dog dares and a closet full of black . here’s to hoping they don’t cause too much trouble !
hello ! i’m deni ( she/her pronouns , gmt+9 timezone ) . i’m best reached on discord at gayfairy#6371 for plotting . below the cut is ... a ridiculous amount of keyboard smashing but it was a holiday and i was feeling inspired so !! i included a few TLDRs for some quick scanning . there’s also some plots at the bottom i’d LOVE to see . looking forward to writing with you all !
* ☆ ·˚ background.
you could say he was destined for the spotlight .
an only child , he grew up watching his parents performances on the stage , accepting their kisses and gentle smiles before they set off for tours around the country and left him with his cousins . sure , they were absent --- but they tried --- and graeme knew he wanted to be just like them . when his parents delighted in his little home-staged sets he presented , they quickly enrolled him in acting classes and coached him through first auditions , even moved back to korea when it was clear some american roles wanted to confine him to one note . after gaining exposure , graeme shared the screen with one of the biggest names in the american industry in a dramatic hit that led to some ridiculous fanmail being sent to him as a kid , then excitedly landed a role in a revamped science fiction film he was stoked af abouy !!! unfortunately , the film was met with an absolute brutal blowback from fans , some of that hot , petty anger taken out on graeme , and at thirteen years old , his parents made the decision for him to step back and focus on school . ( he still holds onto those spiteful letters------ all that hate from grown ass adults thrown at a child )
performing arts high school , but graeme stayed away from the public stage for a bit . worked on some sets as a tech to get a better idea of the film making process . kept a low profile occasionally caught by curious paparazzi at a basketball court or baseball game . recognizable , but not to the point where he couldn’t be seminormal . there were a few bumps in the road :: leaked photos of a beer at a high school party , couple of fake friends sliding in for clout , people pushing questions like when are you returning ?? how does it feel to ruin one of the most important films of all time ??? shitty . but , with the help of his parents , friends and coaches , graeme returned to student films to grow more comfortable in front of a camera . his official comeback was in the background of a friend's directorial debut , a lady-love drama critics salivated over but failed to earn is’ nominations . still , graeme’s name was back and out there . jumping headfirst into the thing that scares him , graeme’s slated for teen flicks , romantic dramas , action films . a diverse portfolio . people love a comeback . ------as if there was something wrong with what he did before .
TLDR. former international child star who took a break after experiencing a massive fan-driven backlash . pseudo retired , did the performing arts school thing . popped back on the screen about a year ago and working his ass off since . early career inspiration : jake lloyd , natalie portman , yeo jingoo
* ☆ ·˚ current.
suddenly getting all this praise and earning cash , living on his own in a sprawling city of work and sin . hasn’t stop busting his ass , no , but maybe he’s found outlets for all his stress in . . . less than healthy outlets . some of the headlines are way off the mark , some a little too close to home . either way , it’s not something his parents or his management company are thrilled about ( doesn’t he want to be taken seriously as an actor , they say ) and he does . of course he does . but what else does he have to sacrifice to be taken seriously ? and how serious does any twenty-something year old wanna get ?
late hours on dance floors , strips of things he doesn’t know the name of on his tongue , lips on any pretty , wanting pair he can find . he’s young , virile and at the top of his game . who can blame him ? it starts with a string of tabloid images , a rumpled and sleepy-eyed graeme leaving apartments that aren’t his in clothes he was spotted in the night before . zoomed-in , fan-cropped photos on twitter of hickeys and swollen mouths and unbuttoned shirts . america’s sweetheart ? maybe , but clearly not around the clock . him , scaling rails of hotels and dancing on top of cars . grabbing mics at clubs and taking over DJ boots at parties . twitter explodes when he moonwalks through the airport one time and baristas trend his insane coffee orders .
and even though he’s got his own name --- and a variety of different spellings , hashtags , and whatevers --- blacklisted on social media , every now and then he’ll run along a stream of grueling comments , petty nitpicks about his performances , his looks , his voice , his goddamn smile and it’s----- it’s rough , even for someone who grew up in that environment . there’s days where he’ll hole up in his apartment and refuse to see anyone , refuse to leave . the guy in the interviews with the wide smile and sparkle eyes is so , so far away and people almost forget that he’s human , too . he pushes himself out of that mindset , sometimes with help , but it’s always a shadow on his back , waiting to catch him at his weakest .
TLDR. tabloids gossip about speculated hookups and strange behavior . potential alcohol abuse . pushback from management and parents . anxiety towards social media . current career inspiration : ansel elgort
* ☆ ·˚ tidbits.
sporty as fuck —— basketball , soccer , skateboard , swimming , climbing . says he would’ve been an athlete if not for movies . fit as fuck despite a steady diet of ramen and pizza . claims to like horror movies the most , but he’s a total schmaltz snob . can hold a pretty tune well enough to pass . has a private twitter account for the memes , public accounts are all operated by a social media manager so he doesn’t have to read comments . watches college basketball championships religiously . has very strong opinions about scented candles . likes sugary drinks more than coffee but claims to be a connoisseur . loves biopics . punk and 2000s emo rock fan . gets anxious easily , suffers through interviews and avoids personal topics as best as he can . is rumored to be difficult to work with , but keeps to himself on sets save for a few opinions about blocking and lighting . pan as fuck and fairly open about it . mom and dad are chill , but don’t understand much of anything past bi . they get on to him more for his diet and job . when not on the court or working , spends free time rewatching anime in the safety of his bed in an threadbare pair of boxers , eating Doritos by the fistful and leaving his manager on read .
even his underwear is black . occasionally, he’ll change it up with a screen printed vintage t-shirt and wears whatever kind of fancy thing his stylist squeezes him into . otherwise wears by a black or white t-shirt , black pants and combat boots . seventy percent of his sneakers have sharpie drawings on them and he’s got a lot of holes in his ears and another in a place you’d be lucky ( or unlucky ) to see . loves dangy earrings and wearing his hair loose , a bit long with a mild perm . silver on his wrists and friendship bracelets from yesteryear but no rings . tattooed up ! recently collaborated to design a line of temporary tattoos . extensive collection of sunglasses . hit up a lot of music festivals in the past but that’s died down in recent months due to a busy schedule . swung his way into VIP passes before . he was a total Warped kid in the past , no shame . no longer does fan conventions because of a negative experience a few years back , and even fan meets are a little awkward , but he manages to push through . can’t drive worth a damn but he’ll kick your ass at any arcade game . occasionally , he’ll stream over twitch but that’s becoming less and less common . was banned from several dave & busters before he made it back on the screen . moody as fuck .
* ☆ ·˚ plots.
so . bonds . there’s a best friend who may not have been there since the beginning , but they’ve been there when it matters . the friendship is new , fresh , and maybe graeme shouldn’t be as dependent on it as he is , but he can’t help it . clinging to them like crazy --- let’s hope it doesn’t fall to the wayside . ( ? / 1 ) there’s several of his idiot friends who , after being stranded on too many red carpets , a hundred hotel rooms , and hours of press junkets , have learned to survive by snapchatting each other random dares throughout the day . ( 1 / unlimited ) there’s a few childhood friends who , like him , grew up either in or close to the spotlight and they have this , like . . . support group kind of situation . i don’t know . graeme checks on them from time to time , even as they’ve grown apart . ( 2 / unlimited ) he’s got some partying buddies who may not have his best interest at heart --- who may or may not stop him when he’s slurred out and whining about twitter trolls . some gaming partners he teams up with over stream , but lately they’ve drifted apart .
it’s such a cliche that his management’s set him up for a fake dating situation . if graeme wants the dramatic , serious roles , then he needs to show he’s a mature and capable young man . how else to do that than jump headfirst into a few awkwardly orchestrated dates with another hotshot on the radar ? ( ? / 1 ) but they’re not serious . so , he hasn’t stopped hooking up , or thinking about a one night stand that totally rocked his world . ( ? / 5 ) and ( ? / 1 ) media and fans definitely know about a few of these . the jury’s out for how they feel about it . then there’s his competition , actors in the same demographic targeting the same roles . it’s a tough business and they know it , but the press picks up on all these weird quotes and posts that twist shit into beefs . what other misunderstanding will cause the casket to blow ? ( ? / unlimited ) there’s some co stars on old and upcoming films . people who see how hard he works and how much effort he puts into what’s seen on the screen . they tough out hard days on set and the press circuits during promotion . see him at his worst and best . ( ? / unlimited )

@doodlelolly That other post is getting way too long, so let’s at least fight like civilized people with “Read More” cuts, yes?
I’ve quoted the portions of your post as I respond to them, since the initial post isn’t here. Also, for those who wish to see what has occurred before (and to prove I am not trying to “hide” anything in there and truly am just trying to save my followers’ dashboards) the post is here.
Ok. So here’s what I’m getting from your repeated condescending tone and aggressive responses. You believe you’re in the right and nothing is gonna change your mind. It kind of seems to be a trend that I’ve ignored until now because, as you mentioned before, it’s only a small percentage of your actual content. But we’re this far in already so I’ll continue to throw my 2 cents in cuz, hey, why not.
Of course I think I’m right, as do you. That’s literally the foundation of every single argument in the world. BOTH sides believe they’re right, otherwise they wouldn’t be arguing. So please don’t point a “You think you’re right!” finger at me as if you’re making a profound point about my character. It takes two to tango, and YOU are the one who asked me to dance tonight.
So let’s break down the responses you gave as mentioned above. To the first anti Jen sentiments, you expressed outrage and disapproval immediately, and then when someone disagreed, as in the case with Jen’s two defenders, you tried to maintain that air of neutrality. What does that say to your followers?
It says exactly what my words stated. My initial reaction is to think what Jen said is rude to the cast, crew and writers of the show, but I am withholding official judgement until I see a video for myself. That is what I said, in full, in my initial response - and what I continued to state, in part, in my further comments on posts I made explicitly to amplify the comments made in Jen’s defense. Had my response to those comments been the impetus for posting them, I could’ve put them in the replies portion of the post. I POSTED them, with a simple response of my stance on the subject, to GIVE VOICE to the positive interpretations of Jen’s words.
Honestly, I’m curious what you would’ve preferred me do, instead of what I did. Should I have ignored the positive comments entirely, as I ignored the negative ones? Should I have made sure my response to all three comments were identical by adding the part about thinking the comment (as reported) was rude? Either of those options seem like they would’ve legitimately given the impression that I was being “anti jen” - and, frankly, the options of me either not sharing my opinions at all or lying and saying I was convinced by the defense when I hadn’t yet seen the video I’m waiting on aren’t things I am willing to do.
And I never once said that your anti Jen tag inconvenienced me, not did I allude to it. I simply pointed out that if you use that tag, you’re probably going to find something anti Jen. I’m not asking you to change it. I wouldn’t expect you to. I think it’s absolutely appropriate.
You stated that by USING the tag, I knew there was “anti jen” sentiments within the post. I explained that I use the tag, even for mild criticism or what might be construed as criticism, out of respect for a follower who ASKED me to do so. Polite, civil, valid, and/or respectful criticism is not “anti” anything, though I have a strong suspicion you probably think it is - and perhaps that’s where our problem lies in communicating with each other. We seem to have wildly different ideas of what constitutes “bashing” someone.
And for you to be so ready to discuss the so called “ammo” for season 7 antis and shut down the asks about whether or not this is the right place for one if your followers is another huge red flag that you are playing favorites. Why is an ask that someone flat out calls Jen out in “well thought out” and someone looking for information on the content of your blog (with a compliment to you, no less!) “dropping bullshit”? That seems very biased to me.
It IS biased. I answer almost all of my asks, and I will answer one asking my opinion on something one of Colin’s former co-stars said about the project they worked on with Colin MUCH differently than I will answer an Ask that perfectly fits an established pattern of trolling asks I receive whenever a specific catalyst occurs - and said catalyst has just occurred.
I’m sorry that you’ve gotten hate for your opinions in the past, but neither of the anon responses to this subject, to me, appeared hateful. The first anon was expressing their opinion (which I didn’t agree with either, for the record) and the second was concerned on whether or not they should remain a follower. I don’t know this person, and neither do you, so your assumptions that they are not a follower and trying to stir the pot are only assumptions, just as mine are that their intentions are genuine.
However, MY assumptions are based on a pattern of events that have continually and predictably occurred for MONTHS now. Jen gets mentioned on the blog, or some non-CS ship gets attention, or I make a critical comment about Jen/Emma/CS... and I receive two rapid-fire Asks in my box: the first one a pro-Jen/CS/Emma rant about whatever topic set them off, and the second some “I’m a long time follower, but this concerns me!” nonsense. Sometimes (as tonight), there is a third one that goes on with the pro-Jen sentiments and adds some anti-Colin ones for good measure. I didn’t post that one, but it DID arrive - as expected.
Also, it bears mentioning that an Ask doesn’t have to be “mean” to be trolling. Some of the asks this individual sends ARE mean, yes, but it’s the repetition, insincerity, and lack of relevance to my blog’s subject that offends.
YOUR assumptions are based off of seeing two random asks on my blog and coming to your own conclusions about them based on the Asks themselves. I’m sorry, but in this case... this isn’t just a difference of opinion here. Your assumption is being made without the full picture, and I understand that, but I am GIVING you the information that led me to make the assumption I made - and as I said before, I am standing by it unless someone wants to admit they SENT that Ask and I made a mistake in interpreting its source/purpose.
And I’m sorry you misinterpreted the way I worded my hypothetical. Allow me to rephrase. Simply take all of the instances where Jen’s name is mentioned and replace them with Colin’s. Would your response be different? I expect st least your initial one would be. You would be much more likely to take an immediately neutral stance instead of rushing out the gate with a negative comment. So no, they weren’t completely different questions. Just replacing one actor’s name with another.
My apologies. It was my misunderstanding. Allow me to adjust my answer.
I am being 100% honest when I tell you my initial response of saying it’s RUDE and that I am withholding judgement until I see a video would be the same. Although, in the interest of full honesty, I probably might have expressed a disbelief that he ever WOULD say such a thing, as I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever heard the man utter anything (in seriousness) that is even in the same ballpark as that kind of comment. However, I know this from having followed his career, interviews and comments for some time. I do not follow Jen’s, and therefore have no reasonable expectation of what she would/wouldn’t say.
As for the rude comments from others... I would have ignored them, just as I did tonight - unless they got excessive. In which case, I would have pointed out to those making them that the OP is a Colin fan and could they please have their conversation elsewhere than on my post. As I said elsewhere, I do not “police” people’s opinions, unless they’re based on something proven to be false or seem grossly misguided in a way I feel I can help them with.
I tend to believe people who are eyewitnesses to the occurrence. Eyewitness testimony stands up in court so I mean, it’s a huge shove towards the truth in my opinion. But I intend to watch the video when it surfaces as well and I will continue to support your decision to do so.
The problem here is that someone directed me privately to the Twitter post from someone at the panel where they quoted Jen as saying she carried the show. You’re assuming that all we have here is heresay and the comments from two people who were there - but the initial “quote” that started all of this is FROM someone who was there. Hence, I am withholding my judgement until I see the video, myself, and know EXACTLY what was said and can determine from her face/tone how it was intended.
And you know the same could sentiment could be said for your accusations and assumptions of me. I disagreed with your post. Vehemently. And you have willfully misinterpreted most things I’ve said as evidenced by the clarifications, redirections, and explanations I’ve given above to support your argument as you see fit. It’s absurd and I don’t appreciate having my words twisted or ones I never said put in my mouth.
Ah, but I am the one being accused of “bashing” Jen and being hateful towards her. The onus is on YOU to PROVE these accusations, and you have not done that. I stated an initial, honest opinion - that I admit is critical of Jen, but not overly so - and then did my best to AMPLIFY the defense of her and IGNORE the harsher criticisms of her - and yet you STILL persist in insisting you’re right and that I somehow acted hatefully towards Jen tonight. I haven’t. I said her words were rude - and, if it turns out she didn’t say what she reportedly said, I will take that criticism back.
And you are correct, this time you aren’t bashing Jen, either directly or indirectly. You’re clearly coming for me directly and I don’t think anyone thinks otherwise. I’m totally fine with that, bee tee dubs. But I agree with the tag once again. Doubly so this time cuz, hey, my name is Jen too ;)
Need I remind you once again that it was YOU who began this fight and YOU who is making baseless accusations against me without any actual evidence of them? Tell me, what have I “come at you” for? What have I accused you of? I think you’ll find I’m merely defending myself here.
Honestly, seeing the things others ARE saying about Jen, both on Twitter AND Tumblr, over this supposed statement... I am truly confused how my simply saying such a comment is “rude” and the way I handled someone who I sincerely believe has been trolling me off and on for over a year warrants the sort of attention this is being given. I mean, there’s literally dozens of other people you could be “calling out” for bashing Jen right now who are actually bashing her quite horribly... Am I truly the hill you want to plant your Jen Defense Squad banner on? XD

GS Artists Rec List
I told @the-nysh I would do this so I did. I’m just here to shamelessly promote my favs. If you want to binge on art, trawl Pixiv and bookmarks. If you want daily art, follow the artists’ Twitter, or @GSnightfight.
Sidenote: It is strange to know that some of the raunchiest stuff come from mums.
(Artists under the cut!)
Kinako [Pixiv] [Twitter]- Protec. Their comic strips are so cute and good. Like this one here and an ongoing one on Twitter. I don’t really understand it but it seems like Genos drank a memory loss chemical to forget about how he couldn’t really love Saitama but then ended up in a relationship with him anyway? He calls just calls Saitama “Saitama”, it’s very bittersweet because he regrets drinking it. (Full thread here)
Yutani [Pixiv] - They do doujins, including one where Genos turns into a white wolf and one where Saitama gets double-teamed by devil!Genos and bunny!Genos.
Lisa [Pixiv] [Twitter] - Have I mentioned lately how much I love Lisa? I’ve been following her ever since she did “The person who makes you happy/Happy people” (Part 1/Part 2). She just did an omegaverse doujin too. Her style is a bit anatomically questionable but they look soft and blushy and muscley and romantic so I’m into it. She’s also done a couple of fake movie posters that’s also very tender. ^3^ (Also, nice try Lisa, I know you draw gratuitous bottom!Genos porn on a separate Twitter account.)
Nano [Pixiv] [Twitter] [Tumblr] - Soft, round egg. They did a doujin where Saitama gets fucked while wearing a dress as well as this really nice sfw doujin about Genos realising he likes Saitama. And who could forget this iconic fake twitter video. (Also they’re on tumblr! Please show them more love)
Polon [Pixiv] [Twitter] - Soft watercolour style, lithe muscley egg illustrations in sexy (and funny) poses and outfits. Loads of lovely short R18 comics. One of my favs is in here where Saitama’s cum is turned into Cookies and Cream flavour by a monster and this one where Saitama gets a bad fan letter and needs some TLC. They also have cat!sensei and dog!Genos versions which are super cute. Cat!Sensei is very chubby (it’s in their icon!).
Oikkodeth [Pixiv] [Twitter] - Yall better recognise. Mainly R18 doujins and puts out one every event (that’s like 5 times a year or more). They’ve covered the whole range: hanahaki, Little Red Riding Hood, human torso!Genos and more. Anatomy is a bit stiff but they’re so proficient.
Mido [Pixiv] [Twitter] - Korean but translates her comics to Japanese. Expressive, cute, clean comic style.
Akiyama [Pixiv] [Twitter] - Yall better fucking R E C O G N I S E. They, along with asamizu and a few others, have been posting since 2013. They churn out doujins like a machine and even has their own category in the doujin store, their books took up half a shelf. Consistently cute, punchy dialogue and doesn’t deal with drama. But you don’t need me to tell you. (Look at this though!!)
Hoyu [Pixiv] [Twitter] - You guys remember the sausage pillow comic? Do you like spit, licking, kinks and softcore yandere Genos? You’re gonna love Hoyu. Also, she knows loads of people? I always see her in the comments on twitter. Very skinny boys and twisted love, a new and interesting sketchy style.
Akiko [Pixiv] [Twitter] - A very girly and attentive waifu top!Genos and a tired Saitama. Puts out a comic strip almost every day? #blessed. (Sensei, please be sweet to me!) Doesn’t do R18 very often.
Oishigeru [Pixiv] - Does only doujins, maybe twice a year? Most, if not all are R18 and Saitama always looks vaguely worried. i like Even If mostly because it’s the only one I read all the way through and it’s about insecurities of a relationship. There was another doujin about Genos/Two Saitamas. Does introspective egg very well so I’m immediately biased. Doesn’t post art on twitter so I’m not including it.
Emochikaoya [Pixiv] [Twitter] - Yall already know I’m a massive fan of Kaoya’s work. Kinkwise, if you think of it, she’s probably drawn it. Super efficient, churns out minicomics once a week in between drawing her original comic (can’t stop the thirst, guys). I’m trying to get her to do more coloured illustrations so if you guys want to stroke her ego, I’ll pass it on. My favourite doujin of hers is ‘Who’ and it has hands-down The Best Egg Lecture. Probably one of the few artists who bother to translate to English (you’re welcome). I have a million things to say about her but it would turn into an essay so I’ll stop.
Minerux [Pixiv] [Twitter] - A member of the @GSNightFight challenge on Twitter. Uncertain and worried egg and supportive and very attentive borg. Check out “Curiousity” and “Red String” and a personal fav “Hold on”.
Dokimaru [Pixiv] [Twitter] - Her neko sensei is probably the most iconic. He has a sweatshirt with like 6 nipples? Iconic. they drew a hot springs doujin where Genos turned basically his whole body into a vibe and Saitama caused him to short circuit and blow out every fuse in the ryokan. They set off the fire sprinklers. This one ficart where Saitama gets double-teamed by two Genoses knocked me flat.
Mat [Pixiv] [Twitter] - Mat?? Is so?? Good?? Ever think about how a look can break your heart? Egg is always tired and Genos is worried. Contact is very sweet and makes your heart twinge, and there’s another one they just released about Saitama being cursed with handcuffed hands
Hebitoriasu [Pixiv] [Twitter] - I’m not a big fan of the shading but I can see improvement. Mostly R18 doujins but they’re cute.
Tori/Saboten [Pixiv] [Twitter] - They have two major AUs - fem!Saitama (Nyotama) and Sabo-sensei - and they’re both amazing. Very good readability, very funny comics. If you’re not a fan of fem!Saitama, they have dedicated groups of art for nyotama. Of course my fav of their works is the one with all of Saitama and Genos’ dating problems and the one where Saitama is “Weak to ikemen (handsome guys)”.
Asamizu [Pixiv] - What kind of useless list would this be without Asamizu? Yeah they had their own category too on the doujin shelf. Very nice graphics, and they discuss relationship topics in a candid manner. Been drawing these boys for over 4 years! Mostly doujins. I also have to plug their game (visual novel) about Saitama endlessly repeating a week to try to get Genos to stop asking him out, it will probably last 10 hours. God they do love to ramble.
Toufumaru [Pixiv] - I’ll admit, I’m not a big fan of their recent work (sailor uniform sensei and sensei who wants to be held) but I really like Blue in Blue and Mellow Yellow which talk about Saitama’s non-existent emotions.
Nemunoki [Pixiv] [Twitter] - Mainly R18 doujins. They’ve explored all manner of sexual situations and kinks. Outdoor sex, electricity, double penetration, tentacles, you name it. It’s all amazing. The perspective does throw me off though.
Untara [Pixiv] - Into switch but really likes bottom!Genos anyway. What can I say? Kinky, but hot.
Satoku [Pixiv] [Twitter] - Melancholy egg! Attentive Genos! Does mostly short comics but they’re so cute. Martyr Saitama is my jam!
Kamikoawakakyouko [Pixiv] [Twitter] - Interesting concepts. Recently released a comic that I consider to be the pinnacle of the OPM fandom because it’s Saitama having to consider the environmental/global impact of his strength and how that boils down to affect his everyday life.
Matabi [Pixiv] - Pretty much only doujins. Sensei has moobs and the boys are squishy and blushy. Also does quite a bit of rimming.
Sototuka [Pixiv] [Twitter] - Mostly R18 illustrations with some nice shading but questionable garments. She drew this doujin with futa!Sensei and double-dick Genos.
Hara Hara [Pixiv] - Saitama is the manic pixie dream girl you guys never thought would exist. Fashion model ingenue. Werk it, sensei. Permanent come hither. Seeing Saitama in dresses brings me life (even if he is super skinny).
Raoki [Pixiv] - Mainly R18 illustrations. I remembered she did sounding with Pocky.
Gmeko [Pixiv] - C U T E. Round and pastels. Soft with lots of TLC. Did a “(I’ll find you) Before the stars do” comic and a hair washing comic.
NICE BOON [Pixiv] - Korean who takes no shit. Fantastic fashion. Little to no BL but the concepts are all on pointe. Existential egg. Eggistential. Locked twitter.
Silver_mssk [Pixiv] [Twitter] - locked account but if you managed to add her…really, really good eggistential portraits in a variety of scenes. Hilarious comics and a stone face Genos and flailing egg. Also lots of Mobuncle/Saitama scenarios? Which…tbh same.
Foo2333 [Twitter] - What if Saitama took part in enjo kosai (paid dating)? Bottom!Saitama, a soft and sexy egg desired by all. Listen, I don’t make the rules.
Skaky21 [Pixiv] [Twitter] - Mostly out of the fandom but dips in sometimes. Very polished shiny style. Not my cup of tea but it’s cute.
1200年丸 [Pixiv] [Twitter] - Now mostly BNHA but does OPM sometimes. Mostly SFW. This comic is cute.
ICHIKAZU [Pixiv] [Twitter] - Curly haired boyish Genos! Everyone’s crazy about her Apocaplyse!AU but I prefer her newest doujin where Saitama wins a camera and Genos uses it to take lots of pictures of his sensei.
Kaji Oyaji [Pixiv] [Twitter] - Wowowow so cute and pastel? Is everyone an angel? Am I dead? Soft and sweet. Saitama is like a fairy and Genos is in love. Imagine the embodiment of Spring.
Ginsky [Pixiv] - Chinese. They’ve moved on but boy those were some bright colours and expressive faces.
Tutu_en_f [Pixiv] [Twitter] - Soft romantic sketches. Feel very french but I’m only saying that because she is literally in France now.
COCONUT [Pixiv] - Korean. Fashionable (you see a trend?) Saigenos sketches. Young boyish Genos, manly egg.
Obachan [Pixiv] [Twitter] - Chibi comics. Still active and cute af.
Shiwasu [Pixiv] [Twitter] - Woah this egg is too cute for this world. Does short comics, draws sex but not especially ero. I like this one which is about Genos becoming able to read Saitama’s mind, first kiss (self explanatory) and Saitama losing his strength (R18).
Nyuton [Pixiv] [Twitter] - Active on Twitter. Posts a lot of speed-colouring videos. Nice sketchy feeling but with colour. Likes to borrow concepts from music videos.
Mochi [Pixiv] - Crudely-drawn gag comics with a humour on par with ONE’s. Please, they’re so good. This one opens up with both of them wearing The Dress.
Shout out to starjr_major who is currently in Golden Kamui hell but used to draw some really amazingly cute Saitama.

WATCH: Are new Democrats too extreme?
Transcript for Are new Democrats too extreme?
Some of the newly elected Democrats are under fire right now, like Minnesota congresswoman ilhan OMAR. She’s being accused of anti-semitism. Yep. For suggesting that Israeli S are buying off congress to sway policy, tweeting, it’s all about the benjamins, baby, benjamins meaning money. That’s why it’s a problem. She ended up apologizing after she was criticized from both sides of the aisle including speaker Nancy Pelosi. So, since we need an expert for this topic, we have somebody here. Here to break down how bad this could be for Democrats is the head of ABC news political unit Rick Klein. Welcome, Rick. Thank you. Happy Valentine’s day. Thank you. Sorry we took you from your wife today. This is the right place to be. I love the sweater, love the energy. We’re all in red, yeah. I have red earrings. I didn’t get the memo. And shoes. So how much of a problem is OMAR going to be for the Democrats really? I mean, she did apologize profusely. It seems to have been an acceptable apology. Sometimes they’re not. Nancy Pelosi said okay. What happened? An unequivocal apology and I think you saw how seriously Democrats felt like they were threatened by this comment, by how fast they came out. This is a freshman member of congress. A lot of people say give someone a chance to make rookie mistakes. That wasn’t the attitude. Within hours you had everyone from Nancy Pelosi on down saying this is isn’t okay. It doesn’t make it right. It doesn’t end as a topic of discussion and certainly not for president trump continuing to focus on this but I think they recognized that this has a potential to become a major distraction for them. Trump’s the last one to say anything about it but of course he did. Rick, I wanted you to come on because this seems to be a weird trend in freshmen, specifically congresswoman, coming in. Alexandria ocasio-cortez claims that Israel was illegally occupying palestine. Congresswoman tlaib tweeted, this is the U.S. Where boycotting is a right of freedom and equality. To clarify, it means boycott the sanctions movement. Why is it that there seems to be this anti-Israel, pro-media B.S.? There’s a difference between anti-semitism and that’s why the congresswoman apologized and being critical of American policy toward Israel which is a legitimate discussion and legitimate debate that I think both parties will continue to be engaged in. The left has had a sentiment of pro Palestinian or some would say anti-Israel or anti-current the Israeli government for a long time. Jimmy Carter has written about it. That discussion around human rights and the treatment of Palestinians is a part of the legitimate realm of discussion. That’s different than tracking in anti-semitism and that’s ere the line seems to be. It seemsz to get mixed up. You don’t really know what’s in a member of congress’ heart when they say something like this, what is their actual intent? That’s another question and sometimes that’s a question of learning what things you’re allowed to say or are acceptable to say. That’s why Twitter can be so dangerous. The congresswoman saying OMAR has hypnotized the world though, that’s dog whistle in anti-semitism. The concern is not just the bds sanctions but there’s a lot of language used that is unusual for freshmen politicians and I think that’s why there’s such blowback for her. Should she be worried going forward? Democrats need to watch this carefully. Clearly this is a member of congress that doesn’t tend to go anywhere. She’s not taking the president’s advice nor should she of resigning or removed from the committee but the leaders are served notice that they’re watching this and are going to monitor this and are focused on this. They’re also going to turn their attention to the other side. President trump has been quick to condemn this. He hasn’t condemned Steven king. He was put off the house foreign affairs committee which OMAR has not been. I don’t believe she should be on there. That’s what the house leadership did. What’s interesting to me though is that some of the loudest voices condemning OMAR have espoused this anti-semitism stereotypes themselves. You have Kevin Mccarthy, a Republican out of California, he called for the chamber to penalize OMAR and Rashida tlaib but last October he tweeted a nefarious image of George rows saying we cannot allow George Soros and Michael Bloomberg to buy the election. President trump also in 2016 ran his own ad featuring sort of a menacing Soros along with Goldman Sachs chief executive Lloyd blankfein and federal reserve chair Janet Yellen, both jewish, he also told a room of American jewish folks at the white house that Israel is your country. He hasn’t apologized for that. So you see this being used, I think, by Republicans as a wedge issue when they don’t come into this issue with clean hands. Why do you think they believe this is a winning issue for them? I think there’s an element here that needs to be avoided which is your anti-semitism is worse than my anti-semitism. That doesn’t get you anywhere in terms of a discussion. I think there’s a recon attorney general — reckoning that has to happen and I can you’re starting to see that play out. The parties in some ways self-police and it becomes a question of what do the Republican rank and file demand of their leadership versus what the Democrats demand of theirs. I think the standard ends up being imposed by the members of the party, what you think the appropriate response is to something like this. We should say neither of those comments represent the mainstream of those parties. Even Democrats seem to be concerned about this far left. I’m all for new faces and new voices but them polling even some of the candidates that we’re seeing run in 2020 so far left and they’re saying, look, this should be a slam dunk for Democrats in 2020. An op-ed from a liberal saying Democrats need to be aware of their looney left. We’ve heard the president on the campaign trail saying Democrats are going to turn this country into Venezuela. The candidates running on the democratic side have in their own way endorsed this. Should Democrats be concerned? 81% of voters agree with the green deal. They don’t even know — the lawmakers I don’t think understand fully what’s in this deal. Should Democrats be concerned? Does Nancy Pelosi need to take on a bigger role there in reining thisin? There’s a concern that the tea party movement that we saw with the Republican party may happen on the democratic side. You uttered two key words, Nancy Pelosi. Strategists point to her as someone who can rein in some of the impulses, make sure a vote on the green new deal doesn’t hantil people know what it is. And if they leave Alexandria ocasio-cortez’s name out. And you don’t misconstrue it. If you present it accurately, maybe there’s an argument. I had an interesting conversation earlier this week. Brown, the senator from Ohio, was asked about the green new deal. He said just because someone has a good idea, that’s nice, maybe it’s something I do but I don’t have to chase that as a presidential candidate. Why are they doing that then? I think it becomes a new standard for everyone and you want to be the democratic candidate who’s against the green new deal when you realize there’s energy in the party for it. And especially because climate change is real. The majority of Americans agree with a lot of it. I don’t know who you’re talking to but I don’t — I’ll show you my source but we have to go.

Today everyone on the internet wants their content to become viral. But what does it mean? More importantly, HOW do you get things viral? It’s not magic. If virality experts are to be believed, there is a method to the madness, which we call the science of virality
What Virality Experts Have to Say
The science of virality has been used by many entrepreneurs to build great viral products. Not just one or two, but many. So if you want to know these “secrets”, read on
Kevin Allocca, YouTube Head of Culture and Trends at Google, has great insights as to what makes videos viral.
As per Allocca, although a very tiny percentage of videos end up becoming viral or reach more than a million views, those which do have 3 things in common: tastemakers, communities of participation and or unexpectedness.
Tastemakers are influential people who introduce average people to interesting things and help bring these things to the limelight. When a tastemaker or a group of tastemakers start sharing things on the internet, the process is accelerated and communities start forming around this “phenomenon”.
That is where communities of participation come into the picture. Communities are responsible for the rapid propagation of content and even addition to it.
In a world that is inundated with more content than anyone can hope to ever consume, virality is possible by only those creations which are unique and unexpected. Things which stand out get the attention that is necessary for virality
Emerson Spartz, founder of sites like MuggleNet, Dose and OMGFacts and a virality expert in his own right, says that the content has to connect with people, through emotion, nostalgia or humor, for them to share with others.
Things which do not connect with people emotionally, will not go viral. Getting people worked up about something helps in getting tons of shares too.
According to Spartz, virality depends on Virality Coefficient (number of people one is sharing content with) and Cycle Time (how long it takes one to share content with someone else). The higher the viral coefficient and shorter the cycle time, the faster virality is achieved. Cycle times are shortened when sharing something makes you look cool in front of others. Every time someone shares something on the internet, this is one factor that definitely weighs on his mind. Virality is also impacted by how relevant or popular the topic of the content is at that particular time.
Spartz also argues that originality is not necessary for virality, instead the focus should be to figure out what works and then spread that in clusters that have not been reached yet with that content. He infers, from his research that lists, short paragraphs and sentences and pictures work the best if you intend to make the content viral
If you scourge the internet for the science of virality, you will find the name of Wharton marketing professor and author of Contagious: Why Things Catch On, Jonah Berger all over. He is an authority on the subject of virality and he attributes 6 main reasons for the success of viral videos which he has given the acronym of STEPPS.
Social Currency – People share content that makes them look good or rather cool in front of others. After all, no matter what we might say, all of us care about what others think of us.
Triggers – Trigger is a stimulus that keeps people sharing your content. You might be hungry when you share a food porn video. Your hunger is the trigger here.
Emotion – “When we care, we share”. People tend to share stuff that is emotionally arousing. Content with positive emotions is shared much more than that with negative emotions.
Public – If something is popular already, chances are it will shared further. If the participation in that thing can be made public, even better. If you are not sure how to feel about your Mayor or his performance but there is a popular opinion doing the rounds, chances are you will end up propagating that opinion further. We all like to be part of a community and feel accepted.
Practical Value – Practical, useful stuff gets instantly shared. That is why “How to” videos work so well.
Stories – People love stories, especially if they are emotionally arousing. If you can tell a compelling story through your content, people will recognize and share it.
Berger says all viral content will have five traits in common: Surprising, Interesting, Intense, Positive and Actionable. The most shareable content will evoke strong positive emotions and offer practical, actionable advice. As an emotion, awe works the best. Although anger and anxiety work well too, awe is a more shareable emotion than the others.
Seth godin
According to American author and entrepreneur/marketer Seth Godin, only those ideas which are “remarkable” can spread. They can be remarkable in terms of look, value proposition, marketing etc. but they need to stand out from whatever has come before. Instead of making average products for the average buyer, who according to Godin, have become experts at ignoring advertisements thrown at them, companies should target innovators and early adopters.
These are the folks he calls Otaku or those who have insane passion for the products they love. Otakus can drive for miles to get the coffee they love or stand in queues for hours to get their hands on their favorite phone before anyone else. These are the people who become not just customers but rather promoters of a brand or product they truly love. They are the ones who help make things go viral
While a study by Elon University says there is no magical recipe for viral videos, the most viral ones share certain characteristics between them such as short runtime, a short length of the title, an element of surprise, irony or laughter and musical qualities
Upworthy, as a company and website, has mastered the art of virality. It managed to get the same number of followers in a period of a few months that its competitors took years for. So it made sense to study what they think made them so successful. According to the folks at Upworthy, it is the perfect framing of content that gets it clicks from people. Truly viral content will have high shares per view and high clicks per share. The best platform for viral content is Facebook and thus the content on any site should be easily shareable on it.
If one cannot create amazing content, one should find it and share it. What makes great content? Great content will have an emotional story arc and an inspiring meaningful message. People love good guys winning over bad guys. People love great production value but a great story even more. People love surprises. People love raw, honest moments. Speak to the audience in as human as way as possible and then frame the content with a headline that has a curiosity gap. Do you now get why you see headlines like “2 guys met at a bar. You won’t believe what happened next”? While you might think of these as click-bait, the creators end up getting thousands of views and shares and laughing all the way to the bank. But your content does not have to be deceptive. You can actually help people learn new stuff
Josh Elman believes virality is of different types and there are different methods of virality for different products or ideas. Every product cannot be approached in the same way. If you want to make things viral, you must know which category it belongs to so as to engineer its features in that manner.
Word-of-mouth Virality – When your product is so good that people themselves talk about it with others and make it go viral. For such products, make the product features easy to describe.
Incentivized word-of-mouth Virality – It is similar to word-of-mouth but you also provide a little incentive to people for referring your product to friends and family. It helps the company and the customers equally. You get new customers and customers get discounts or incentives.
Demonstration Virality – When you use it, you show it off. That is demonstration virality for you. Products like Instagram, Pinterest and even Uber have benefitted from this.
Infectious Virality – This type of virality works when you get more people to use the product you already use and thus are able to build a community around it. It ends up becoming a great deal for both the parties. It is similar to word-of-mouth but here you are referring the product for your benefit too. You spread infectious virality through invitations. That is how most social networks like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn came to the forefront in their initial days.
Outbreak Virality – Some things are so fun that they have to be shared with the next person. That is how they gain ultra-fast virality. That is why memes go viral, that is why the cute cat video got viral and that is how Pokemon Go got viral too
What Works
Positive Emotions (humour, awe, wonder) – Negative emotions like anger work extremely well for virality but something that makes us laugh or gape in awe has even higher chances of getting shared.
Uniqueness or Quirkiness – Let your content stand out. Sometimes even egregiously bad content becomes viral too, thanks to how uniquely bad it is.
Element of Surprise – Shock them, surprise them, jolt them out of slumber. Be controversial. There is just too much material on the internet for you to be noticed by being normal and boring.
Current Trends – Current, trending topics get shared much more than old content. People are constantly searching for latest trends on the internet. So you should aim to land on those searches.
Visuals (Lots of Them) – The more visual it is, the less text it has, the better.
Lists – Of course they work. We all love top 10s and top 20s. Countdowns even more. YouTube channels like Watchmojo have built their existence around such lists.
Memes (We LOVE them) – Memes spread like wildfire. Yes, there are too many of them on the internet but the beauty of it is that every month, you get a new trending meme, which would be fresh, quirky and shared all over social media. With so many blogs, pages and groups sharing them, you can have multiple cycles of viral content and very effectively reach more people than ever possible earlier.
What DOES NOT Work
Loooong paragraphs – Most of us have an attention span of a 5-year old. Need we say more?
No Heart – Emotions drive virality. Make people inspired, happy, amazed or even angry but do not make content no one would care about. If your audience goes “Meh!”, it sounds the death knell for your content.
Sleep-inducing material – Keep people entertained. The more fun they have, the more they will share.
Endless Self-Promotion – Unless you are a Kardashian, refrain from excessive self-promotion. People like it when your content addresses them and their problems, instead of you blabbering about yourself till eternity.
Complexity – Keep it simple, silly! Content which gets shared the most can be consumed on the go without stressing the grey matter of the brain too much. Of course, sometimes, complex content can get you viral too if you can generate enough awe. But in such cases too, although the topic can be complex, your handling should not.

Adidas Ads in Print Magazines and The Company’s Marketing Strategy
Adidas ads? Are they good, great, bad? Let’s find out.
Grabbing attention when you’re targeting a specific or broad audience nowadays is more than just broadcasting an advertisement using the traditional methods that we know from the past.
TV ads, magazine printouts and billboards aren’t that relevant, and are pretty much invisible to the average consumer.
As people are more and more connected, capturing the attention of the audience can’t be done with the mass-media campaigns anymore.
Instead, now we have engaging, entertaining and useful content that is highly shareable, and people can be encouraged into investing their time and emotions into it. At the heart of delivering such content, we have storytelling.
Emotion drives action, and anyone knows that we, as humans, are actually pretty emotional. This means that clever brands can leverage that emotion and use it to drive sales.
By combining an idea with an emotion, customers can draw connections between brands, and their feelings, beliefs or ideas. At the forefront of such storytelling, we have Adidas. It is one of the most successful brands when it comes to using it as a marketing concept, and it makes use of the years of history and connections, to build a connection with their audience.
Back in 2015, they hired “72&Sunny”, a creative agency that had been tasked with the goal of putting “aggressive storytelling” at the front of Adidas’ advertising campaign. This differs from the Adidas print ads that were popular some time ago, and we’ll take a better look how.
Taking a look at the brand’s history
Adidas’ story as we know it has been in production for over fifteen years.
When you look back, you can think of the 2001 movie “The Royal Tenenbaums”, which has a star-studded cast, and they’re all kitted out in Adidas tracksuits, even for occasions that can be only described as absurd.
Ben Stiller’s character, as well as his twin sons, wore red Adidas tracksuits in the film, only to change them for black ones at a funeral towards the end. This might look like basic product placement, but it is actually a stepping stone in Adidas’ story, when the brand actually became a landmark of a generation, thus establishing the “cool factor” that we still know and love.
When you go back to the product appearances like this, you’ll see how this is actually enough to enhance the “story making” approach. The importance of the company in establishing a powerful and emotional impact in the lives of their customers is more than obvious.
But, how does storytelling work in Adidas ads?
The craft of storytelling is actually much bigger than just showing off how you’ve grown with your audience, and your evolution.
At the most basic level, it’s about building an emotional connection with your audience which is hard to break, and the Adidas marketing strategy has this honed to a fine art.
The “Impossible is Nothing” campaign of 2007 is something that many people remember, and you’ll find that people are still talking about it, even though it was a decade ago.
And, it wasn’t that good because it included a lot of technology, or because of the models or shoes. It was successful because the stories it told were real, authentic, and they actually made an impression on the people who saw it.
The Lionel Messi Adidas advertisement was the basis of the Adidas ads campaign, and it spoke of the battle that he faced with growth hormones, serving as a reminder that even bad things may sometimes lead to positive outcomes.
The phrase “Impossible is nothing” tells the story of glory from defeat, and people are actually associating Adidas with that triumphant spirit ever since.
Making a connection with social values
Adidas has also dipped their toes in the social awareness waters as well, and they’re connecting with important and deep global values. For example, the “#MyGirls” project from 2013 was actually made to support women by celebrating female athletes and young girls who enjoyed being active.
The Adidas marketing campaign began on the International Woman’s day, and rolled out piles of content across multiple advertising channels, thus sharing stories of sportswomen from all around the world.
You could even find Adidas magazine ads in the #MyGirls online magazine, which was made to educate and inform young people on the truth of female sporting success. This campaign, out of nowhere, added an entire chapter to the story, one that pushed women to feel pride in what they achieve, and it also eradicated inactivity in younger people.
Adidas continues to tell stories that help their customers associate their brand, not just with a star sporting presence, but with a great dedication to athletic individuals on a whole.
The “Superstars” campaign by Adidas that was made in 2015, was made as a short-form video format, targeting the mobile environment, and encouraged conversations between celebrities and athletes, thus redefining the way in which people identify superstars.
Thanks to the positive connections between the brand and its customers, Adidas has begun to help the consumers to start feeling better about themselves.
The Adidas story today
Using their own story, as well as the story of others that are connected to them, you’ll find that the primary focus of Adidas’ approach to marketing is in fact storytelling. They have sporting superstars and everyday athletes, and this creates a sense of community with their consumers and fans, turning the brand into an uncompromising household name.
Their latest Adidas advertisement campaign, “Blah Blah Blah”, focuses on the brand’s value of creating a positive message, and it asks people to ignore the “haters”, and try to remember what is really important in the first step of the “First Never Follows” strategy.
Storytelling is everywhere, and the Adidas promotional strategy has established them as one of the best sporting brands around. From real, authentic stories to celebrity endorsement, their narrative has remained consistent, from conception, to the company that we all know and love nowadays.
Chances are that we’ll see more of the storytelling world as we continue to move forward, and we’ll also learn more about the spirit that is behind each individual brand. However, taking a look at the Adidas advertising efforts, you’ll find that they are way ahead of the trend, embracing these solutions long before they appeared as a hot topic in marketing.
Let’s take a look at the numbers
Adidas ads campaign succeeds in driving awareness, as well as engagement, through YouTube takeovers across the digital screens, and with astounding results. The channel views on Adidas’ YouTube channel jumped 26 times, and the subscriber count doubled over the course of the campaign.
The YouTube roadblock got to 4 million more consumers on their mobile devices, and the “All-In” video got over 2 million views in the US.
Adidas advertisements are killing it on social media as well
Analyzing their social channels
Twitter
Adidas are actually a huge company, and they have several sectors in the business. Each of them requires its own social media presence, and Twitter is a part of that. In this specific situation we’ll focus on the general Adidas channels, instead of the sector accounts.
The @adidas Twitter profile is verified, and this means that all of their followers, currently almost 3.5M, can easily find them. The account mostly retweets the other brand accounts, and serves to bring together the Adidas brand as a whole. The retweets are usually of the images and videos that are posted on the other accounts.
Some tweets are also planned for real-time usage, such as the UEFA Champions League final. During that match, there were images of the athletes that used Adidas equipment, which were used in case there was a key event in the match.
For example, Alvaro Morata and Luis Suarez both scored, and they tweeted an image of the athletes, using the hashtag that was trending for the match. As a global brand, they did get a lot of engagement, meaning this is actually very good planning and Twitter marketing.
Facebook
Adidas has quite a lot of channels here as well, and their Facebook page shows the same header image branding, albeit with a different logo. However, the logo is similar to the Twitter profile picture and is still very recognizable. Their fan base on Facebook is extremely large, mostly due to the fact that their brand name is very well known worldwide.
One of the ways that Adidas uses to have such a successful social media campaign is by incorporating their brand channels in their existing channels. For example, the videos tab on their Facebook page has the same content from the YouTube channels, and, so do the other Facebook pages within relevance. This is fairly similar to sharing a blog post through the social media accounts of their staff, known as cross promotion.
The video content they have is posted, and so is the other visual content that they’ve used, thus getting the full use out of any content they have. They also like other pages, and also share the content from those pages, which results in their content being shared there as well.
These pages are mostly created for the clients they have, the sportsmen and women they work with, as well as their national teams, clubs or associations. If Adidas release something new, the pages share the content to their audience if they think they’ll be using it, and it comes as news for both parties. Adidas has a new product, and the athlete will be using a new piece of equipment.
YouTube
Adidas goes with a matching header image and logo again, resulting in a very connected social media structure. The ‘featured channels’ section is useful here, as well as the profile information. Their featured video is a campaign that is running currently, but is also relevant for the channel.
Each channel has a specific campaign focused featured video, but as the general account, this one won’t be as focused on one area. Therefore, it becomes the leader of the brand accounts, and influences the audience to take a look at the other accounts for more specifics.
The account doesn’t have a lot of videos, but there are playlists for the videos from the other accounts, and in this way they can collate the relevant content without favouring one sector over the other.
Instagram
If you have one (or more) great product(s), your social media channels can turn into very visual ones pretty quickly. Visual social media such as Instagram has to be taken seriously, which Adidas does, and their results are also very serious as well. Their products are awesome, which results in thousands of likes, and they also use this to create content around the athletes and products they’re working with.
And, it’s not always about selling products. Their Instagram is used to generate brand awareness, and the great visual content drives enthusiasm and thirst from the users who want to get Adidas products. They have a high influence from the huge amount of engagement they get, and their Klout score is pretty high, resulting in making their other social media channels more influential as well.
Instagram is only one of the channels that Adidas uses well. For example, Adidas supplied the match balls for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Montreal. They posted a picture of the ball for the final match, as well as a view of the stadium, and used Montreal as a location. Therefore, people who are searching for the location will discover the content, and this gets them even more brand awareness.
Great content
Adidas does have an advantage over other companies with the fact that they already have amazing products. In a way, the things they want to sell aren’t really a hard sell, and they already have deals in place for huge stars to endorse and wear their products. Sport video is something people look at pretty often, which is another thing that goes so far for Adidas.
The “There Will Be Haters” campaign with the launch of the new Adidas football boots is a great example, as the adverts and videos created with the stars Adidas uses went viral because of the profile of the stars, as well as the product.
This doesn’t mean that the campaign itself wasn’t excellent, but there was a bit of assistance from the pre-existing profiles that both the players and Adidas have already.
Aside from that, Adidas want to inspire you, and make you want to become like them, which results in you buying the same equipment they do. But, even without that, the content is just so good, that people watch it either way. Avid football fans want to see their favorite stars in a football advert anyways, because these athletes are in-demand, and Adidas makes use of that in their videos.
People want to see and hear these athletes, and get close to them. Even if they don’t want to buy the products themselves, by sharing the content, their connections might want to. That is part of the value that Adidas has from the industry standing, and the way they can work with these stars.
What makes them different?
Their main competitor is perhaps Nike, which is well-known to anyone who knows a bit about sport and brands. However, Nike focuses on the athletes that use their equipment and are contracted to do so, and this separates the two brands. Adidas’ methods are similar, they both share amazing content, and get huge responses. But, what makes Adidas different?
Adidas actually sticks to an enforced company culture, and compared to Nike, they aren’t that fierce as a brand. Their equipment and products are good for the all round sportspeople, from the beginner level, to professionals. They’re more of a “good guy” brand, and this is important.
By no means are Nike the “bad guys”, but they have premiere athletes such as Cristiano Ronaldo which can be portrayed in such a way, and this gets swept into the Nike brand too often. As an example, for the launch of Cristiano Ronaldo’s new boots, Nike produced a video that portrayed him as an “out of this world” superstar.
Adidas, on the other hand, recognize their athletes as global stars, and don’t go for the “best in the world” moniker. They don’t commit to debatable statements, such as Cristiano Ronaldo being the best in the world. Sure, he has won an award that lets him claim that, but Messi is contracted to Adidas, and he’s won the same award a few times with no such claims.
As far as social media goes, Adidas has a hierarchy for their channels. The general account oversees and collates all of the content of the other channels, thus promoting the content as a part of the brand. Just like on Twitter, the Adidas account shares the content from the other channels.
This both elevates the brand, and draws attention to the specific areas as well. If you’re attracted to the leader account, you will also be inclined to pay more attention to the other brand accounts as well.
Things to remember about Adidas Ads and their marketing campaigns
Based on the research above, you’ll find that you can actually learn a few lessons from the way Adidas uses marketing and social media. The key ones would be:
Have a clear strategy (Adidas’ use of separate accounts)
Visual content is amazing
Real-time marketing can get you results and engagement
“Superb content” is absolutely essential
Ending thoughts on Adidas ads
Adidas is a leader in the sporting goods market, and at the heart of the brand there is passion for athletes, sports and products. The brand is built on cutting-edge design, and it’s a brand that is respected for its authentic, inspirational values. This can be seen in their print advertisements.
Organized into three-consumer oriented divisions, Forever Sport, Originals and Equipment, it’s also committed to incorporating the importance of lifestyle which is constantly growing, as well as that of fashion and music inspiration into the sports arena and products. This strategy lets them have a unique Adidas experience, and mean much more to their consumers.

Counting Stars
What if Maris never entered PBB in the first place? What if she’s actually a fangirl thrown into the world of show business? (celebrity/fangirl au)
A/N: I honestly don’t know who I ship. Sometimes, I love MarGo then MarÑigo suddenly creeps up. So, to satisfy both of my ships and my heart (lol), I decided to write a fanfic. It’s been so long since I’ve written one. I’m not making any promises that I can finish the whole story. I’m apologising early on with this fanfic because for someone whose course is all about writing, well, I suck at it. This is going to be in English because my writing in english is probably** more bearable rather than me trying to describe scenes in tagalog. Anyways, hope you enjoy this fanfic.
PS. some (or most) people mentioned are actually real people that are connected to the trio. AND this is in no way reflect the trio and the other characters in real life; this is just a fanfic and for fun.
CHAPTER I. dreaming about the things we could be
“I love you Iñigo Pascual!” Maris Racal chanted on TV. “Iñigo! Iñigo! Go Iñigo!”
For a petite 19 years old, Maris sure can scream and jump around the house like nobody’s business. Well, no, it’s probably her mom’s business as it is their house as well.
“Mariestella!” her mom shouted as she entered the living room to see her daughter jumping around and loudly singing along at the TV. “Mariestella!”
Maris stopped what she was doing and grabbed the TV remote to lower the volume. When your mom screams your first name, you stop whatever you’re doing. That’s just a known rule between children.
“Yes, ma?” Maris asked, innocently.
“What are you even doing?” Her mom looked at Maris then at the TV and suddenly understood what was going on. “Actually, don’t answer that. You should pack up and make sure you haven’t forgotten anything. It is a long way from Davao to Manila.”
“Ma, I already packed my things,” Maris said. “Most of them are clothes, anyway. Ate Tine already said I can buy other things there. She’s going to tour me around Manila.”
Maris’ mother shook her head. “Fine, but make sure you take care of yourself in Manila, okay? You’re there to study music and also to help your sister out.”
“Yes, ma,” Maris smiled. “I know. Now, can I go back to watching Iñigo perform?”
Her mother gently touched her shoulder. “I’m serious, Maris. You’re only there to study and help. I don’t want to hear you causing trouble, especially now that you’re in Manila and I know how much of fan you are of this Iñigo Pascual.”
Maris laughed, nonchalantly. “Ma, even if I’m Iñigo’s number one fan, I don’t think I’ll see him around Manila.”
Though she was keeping a straight face, Maris actually already planned where she would go and what she would do to see Iñigo. Her mother who knew her well decided to just trust Maris and was sure that her older sister would take good care of Maris.
“Okay, I’m just saying,” Her mother held her hands up, as if surrendering over her daughter’s attitude towards the boy. “What do you even see with this guy? Why can’t you like one of your friends instead?”
“Fangirling is life, ma,” Maris said, matter of factly.
Her mother laughed at her daughter’s serious expression. Maris was really still just a child. She hoped that she’ll soon grow out of this phase and to start actually interacting with boys who are her own age and level (i.e. not someone you only see on screen). Little does she know that her daughter was not meant to lead a simple life.
When her mother decided to leave her alone in the living room again with the promise that Maris will keep her voice down as she’s not the only person living in the house, Maris decided to check her fan account in twitter. She immediately tweeted about Iñigo Pascual’s ASAP performance.
INIGO I LOVE YOU NA TALAGA!!! Super great performance!! You’re the best!
She then looked at the trending topics and saw that Iñigo’s name was trending. She tapped on it to see tweets about his performance. She retweeted and replied to some. She really was a proud fan. She’s been supporting Iñigo for three years and it still felt great to see other people appreciate him like how she appreciates Iñigo. Well, most people.
Maris frowned at the tweet that she just read. Normally, she would ignore any hateful comments about her idol because trolls are just really trying to annoy and make noise but this one comment really ticked her off. Maris decided to reply.
EXCUSE ME WHAT DO U MEAN IÑIGO ISNT MEANT IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY HE’S ACTUALLY PERFECT FOR IT LOL UR IDOL’S THE ONE WHO SHOULD STICK TO ACTING
Maris knew it’s petty to entertain troll accounts but she just couldn’t help but reply when she knew Iñigo really practiced hard for this performance. She saw snaps and tweets about Iñigo’s rehearsals for a month. It was the whole reason why he was rarely on Twitter this month. He really did his best because he knew he was going to perform with a highly acclaimed singer.
Plus, she couldn’t help but be pissed off at people trying to compare her idol to Diego Loyzaga. Seriously? They’re both two opposite people and she has nothing against Diego but lately, people have been comparing Iñigo and Diego that she couldn’t help but also feel resentful over Diego. He wasn’t doing anything but she’s just irritated by all these comparisons. She probably would regret her tweet about Diego sticking to acting but for now, she’s angry for Iñigo and the logic part of her brain was thrown out the window.
Her tweet got a mixed of reactions. Some tweeted their support on her tweet, some also called her out of her tweet, and there were some who wanted nothing but for both fandoms to get along.
“Fat chance,” Maris murmured to herself.
There was no way the fandoms would unite but she did agree that what she tweeted was mean; after reading some replies. Little does she know, though, that the fans of both sides would soon unite and she’d all be in the middle of it. For now, Maris decided to just block the trolls and was about to delete her tweet and follow it with an apology tweet when her notifications suddenly went up again. This time her phone decided to lag because it kept vibrating over all the notifications she kept on receiving in just under a minute. She ran to her room and went to open her laptop to check what caused the sudden retweets. She logged in on her fan account and went to check again her notifications.
Maris felt sick when she read what actually caused her phone to stop working. She couldn’t breathe and she was sure her face was pale and her eyes were about to fall off. There in Diego Loyzaga’s twitter account was her tweet. Diego Loyzaga saw her tweet and quote retweeted it.
I did my best in today’s performance. If you can’t appreciate that, then fine. But I did my best. Let’s just support the artist we like w/o insulting another, noh?
And if the earth could swallow Maris up, she would gladly welcome it at this moment.
A/N: So, gets nyo na ba yun premise nung story?? Maris is a fangirl (for now) of Iñigo and she doesn’t really hate Diego but because of comparisons between fandoms di niya mahelp na machannel rin ng konti yun galit niya kay Diego. Doncha worry di hater si Maris ni Diego, pikon lang siya. Also, the fandom war does not reflect the real fans lol im pretty sure they’re all friends as i said this is only a fanfic and I’m just trying to satisfy my shipper heart by being imaginative lol.

Buffalo Bills: Things we know this week
Sean McDermott is not shy about putting his stamp on this team with different ways of changing the culture that hasn’t produced a playoff team this millennium. It was just reported that he fired four members of the staff, some who have been with the organization for a very long time and one that was a “REX” short term guy.
Director of player engagement Paul Lancaster, team chaplain James Trapp, athletic trainer Greg McMillen and strength-and-conditioning assistant Dan Liburd, who oversaw the players’ nutrition and diet, have all been dismissed. This involuntary turnover/termination has not been announced by the Bills just yet.
Sean is all business and well respected if you listen to many members of the teams that played against McDermott’s defense in the past. After the previous losing Bills coaches with minimal public personalities, it was a treat as I have stated many times, to get a personality in here with Rex Ryan. He played around at times and likes to joke around.

He said exciting, controversial things that the fans wanted to hear or at least sparked some interest. Jumping out of airplanes, getting tattoos, riding two man bikes, wearing wigs and making bold predictions were very inspirational. In the beginning anyways. When the record was 0-0. They get old very quickly after a tough loss, after a game we should have won, following missed opportunities, after a bold tough talking coach punts when behind with minimal time left in the opposing territory.
The bold swagger diminishes as you miss the playoffs once and then head towards missing the playoffs again. It is funny how perception of a coach changes based on wins and losses. I was defending Rex for some of his attention seeking maneuvers, pointing out if it was to take the focus and pressured attention off of the players. Rex, I applauded you. However, sometimes, it was about his ego.
His obnoxiousness did not take four or five years to grow old. It took a half season for some to be done with him and a more patient person such as I, the second season because I was giving him the benefit of the doubt that the first year was injuries and learning curve. It could just be Rex is one dimensional and needs certain players and cannot adjust being why he was so successful with the Jets for the first two seasons and slowly crumbled below mediocrity.
It could be the game passed him by. He will be a perfect fit on ESPN because he can listen to himself talk later that night. He does like to hear himself talk. Sean McDermott does not want attention. Sean does not want to “win the offseason” or hear about his past defenses.
He is going to be the CEO of the team as a head coach. If he wanted to micromanage the defense, he would have brought in his own version of Dennis Thurman and not a big name coordinator like he did. I am excited to see how he handles wins and losses. My guess is he doesn’t get too high from wins and doesn’t go into a pity party state of depression after a loss. Same can be said for a big score or a great sack.
Since I already tackled the final chapter of Rex Ryan several weeks back and he somehow slithered his way into my commentary, I will go public and say the above was about our new coach and our previous coach was just being used in comparisons. Yeah, Yeah… that’s the ticket.
Now that we are moving forward from the coaching topic that originally started with the staff members being fired, I want to clear things up from my past article. It was not reported in error that the Bills picked up defensive lineman Scott Crichton off of waivers, the former First-Team All-Pac-12 team member in 2012. He did fail his physical and was placed on waivers by The Bills, bringing that experiment to a quick close.
Now keep in mind the different personalities you have been introduced to from my chiropractor’s visits and medical appointments over the previous two years. Butler Mitchell, Dr. Doug, Devon Hooks, and of course Negative Stanley.
Full articles have revolved around events of these fine folks that the mold was broken when they were made. Broken into tiny little pieces, put in a blender and then a shredder and finally a burn bin. One of these unique individuals was at the chiropractor’s office this morning. One of these fine men was sporting a Bills Nike Blue jersey. The jersey was number 95 with Scott Crichton‘s name on the back. The player who was cut after failing his physical who has had a below spectacular career to this point. He was brought in as a long shot depth position.
Things We Know About The Buffalo Bills This Week:
Kyle Williams did not get traded or retire. Kyle Williams is going to want his jersey number back.
Scott Crichton was not even along far enough in the process to have a number chosen or assigned. Who wore this jersey which he probably had to have specially made?
Well Negative Stanley didn’t spend the money on his Bruce Smith jersey until it was confirmed he was headed to the hall of fame.
If you guessed Devon Hooks, Mr. Happy, Mr. Positive, Mr. Optimistic, the man that knows every college stat and player… ding, ding, ding, winner winner chicken dinner. Thanks for playing.
