Just before 5pm today, @dandelionwineshop and @dandywineshop dropped off a third haul of wine to medical volunteers staying at hotels in Queens. The new medical crew at the hotel are actually local frontline workers who are staying at the hotel as to not infect their families at home. Shout out to @amy.m.herzog who inspired us to donate to #doctorswithoutbottles through her @gofundme page she started to find meals for these medical volunteers (link in her bio!) Turns out there’s dozens of volunteer medical workers staying in Queens’ hotels without much to eat or drink. 50 of them @adriahotelny are about to get a wine delivery from us with help from @michelesveds @regalwineny and @theebestpersonever @opiciwines 🙏 but since we’ve packed up this wine we’ve found another 90 volunteers that could use some help at the Courtyard Marriot JFK. The donations for #doctorswithoutbottles keep coming! The volunteer medical workers we found this time were right next door @courtyardmarriot in LIC. They were soooo happy when we arrived Friday afternoon with wine from generous donors @deuxpunx @mfwwineco @shiverick_wines !!! These medical professionals are here to help hospitals and nursing homes rebuild after the devastating past few months. I think we made their weekend.
