First of all let me introduce myself and my blog.
Hiii, fellow monster lovers and welcome! I'm Näckros and this is my monster friendly (too friendly) side blog where I post any cute or filthy thought that crosses my mind. English is not my first language so if I make any mistakes please tell me so I can improve. I'm a porn with plot type of gal, which means that I tend to set the mood of the story before I get into the smut stuff, so (were)bear that in mind! And on that note, THIS IS A 18+ BLOG SO MINORS, BEGONE 💋
This blog is a safe space for all the weirdos and the delulus who think that they could get railed by werebeasts, minotaurs, orcs, dragons, weird aliens, giants even, and not be ripped in two. The fictional world is amazing precisely because we can do whatever the hell we want in it so let's forget the realistic technicalities while we're here, yeah? Let's allow our imagination to run free and enjoy what it comes up with. Let's be degenerates together. <3
My ask box is always open - you can send questions or open discussions about any theme regarding monsters; you can send requests of monsters you'd like to read a story about; you can send suggestions, share your own fantasies, recommending books, movies, videogames, other blogs; you can also send me feedback on things I've written (it's always highly appreciated and motivating). I do not put any limits - If I don't like something, I will simply not answer.
My DMs are also always open for anyone who wants to chat and become mutuals, but please be patient with me if I'm late to answer. I swear I'm not ignoring you, I'm just anxious + lazy + unable to manage time but also always doing something, which could be either writing stories for this blog, or fanfictions for my main blog or making digital art for my art side blog. So yeah, I won't always be avaliable, nor will I post daily on here.
I have a Ko-fi where you can leave tips if you like what I write and you want (but mostly, can) support me. I write for my own enjoyment of course but I'm a jobless student and money unfortunately is scarse. So even just a small tip as a 'thank you' can help me.
What else can I add?
BE RESPECTFUL - DO NOT SHAME ANYONE FOR THEIR KINKS - DO NOT BE RUDE - DO NOT COPY OR REPOST OR TRANSLATE OR MODIFY MY STORIES IN ANY WAY
That being said, enjoy your stay and thank you for following this weirdo here and enjoying the products of her weird mind 💜

Hob is the loud alpha-male CEO of his company and Dream is his soft spoken executive assistant, so when hob announces that “he and Dream are having a baby” everyone assumes that Hob knocked Dream up!
The office sends around flowers and Dream accepts them with a quiet satisfaction and puts them in a vase on hob’s desk.
But weirdly hob isn’t being all that chivalrous. Even though he accompanies Dream to the doctor’s office every time, Dream’s the one opening the door for hob. And carrying his briefcase!
The office gossips are all grumbling about how hob is kind of a terrible, thoughtless baby daddy.
Until after a week away—a week Dream spent glaring at everyone who dared talk to him—hob returns to the office with swollen hoboobies and a cute little baby bump!
Turns out Dream’s the one who knocked hob up, peeling him out of his nice suits and railing him over his desk after hours. And he’s a very proud and chivalrous baby daddy.
He rubs hob’s shoulders and fucks him through the wild pregnancy hormones. And hob may be a busy ceo but if anyone dares schedule a meeting with hob after 3:30, when he should be lowering his stress level, no god will spare them Dream’s wrath.
Every time I see a mere mention of pregnant!Hob i go feral. I cannot be stopped. This scenario absolutely bounced around my brain like a pinball.
I'm just obsessed with the before/after situation in the office, from the point of view of those who work around Dream and Hob. Hob is a real man's man, always joking around, always one of the lads. He's loud and brash, and people either find him charming or irritating. He's the guy who WOULD knock up his PA and maybe be a jerk about it. It's all such a cliche it's almost boring.
And one morning there he is, buttons straining on his crisp white shirt, pressing his hands into his lower back and sighing deeply. He's wearing a bra. And he looks tired, but pretty much content. Especially when Dream comes over and offers him a sandwich and a kiss on the cheek. He also rests a proprietary hand on the baby bump. The office has gone completely silent as people stare, or text absent coworkers with the latest gossip.
The guys who used go joke around with Hob and who thought he was so "cool" don't know what to do with themselves. He's the boss, so they can't ignore him! But the dude is pregnant! What the actual fuck! The worst of it all is that Hob looks like an absolute snack as he waddles walks around the office. He's glowing, he's lush, he's fecund. He's still a badass CEO, maybe even more basass before because the hormones really get him raging sometimes. Dream is keeping strict tabs on his blood pressure.
What else is Dream doing? He's strolling around looking smug. He put that baby inside Hob, and he's never been more proud. And he's taking very very good care of both Hob and the baby. Even if that means running out of the office for weird fast food combinations when the pregnancy cravings start to hit.
Dream is also fucking Hob silly in as many places around the office as possible. They're hoping to do it in every single individual room, conference space and cubicle by the time Hob’s parental leave starts. They're almost halfway through already - no wonder Hob is pregnant. Hopefully the baby will never find out that they were conceived up against the water cooler, after office hours!

Clever Boy - Eleventh Doctor Imagine [Doctor Who]
Title: Clever Boy
Pairing: Eleventh Doctor X Reader
Word Count: 6,449 words
Warning(s): major character death, canon-typical violence, mention of past trauma
Summary: [Season 7, Episode 1] The Doctor and (Y/n) are reunited with Amy and Rory when all of them find themselves in the custody of the Daleks with an impossible task before them.
Author's Note: Wouldn't be one of my OCs if I didn't randomly jump around the timeline a lot. If there's a season that you want to see next, let me know and I'll see what I can do!
MORE OF THIS OC HERE!
-----------------------
I warned the Doctor about going to meet the women who wanted to save her daughter.
After all that we went through, it just seemed a little too perfect. Someone being able to send him a message and begging for help just after we avoid true death? I had trouble trusting it.
But he wanted to talk to her. He thought that he needed to.
I went with him for the sake of safety.
We met her on Skaro. The original planet of the Daleks.
She told us the story of Hannah. Her daughter who had been taken away to a Dalek prison camp. People had told her that we could help.
The Doctor noticed the same things that I did. The meeting place, how much she seemed to know about us, and the fact that she had left her daughter behind in the first place.
Mothers don't do that if they want to save or protect their child. They would rather burn the planet around them to the ground than be separated from them. At least, that's what I had learned from Amy.
Once the Doctor started asking too many questions, the woman was forced to reveal herself.
She hadn't escaped anything. She had merely been transformed.
Once the Doctor had been incapacitated, I went to take off running. Another person was already there and before I could truly make any progress, I was lying on the ground next to the Doctor.
When I came to, we were both in a cell.
"Good, you're awake!"
The Doctor pulled me off the floor. I blinked a few times, trying to get rid of whatever tiredness was still clouding my thoughts.
"How are you feeling," he asked.
"Angry and tired," I muttered.
"That's the spirit," he leaned forward and pressed a kiss to my forehead.
The doors slid open as he pulled away. Two Daleks rolled in.
"You will come with us," one of them instructed.
"Where are we going," I asked, not moving from my spot.
"The Doctor and (Y/n) will be reunited with their companions."
I felt a strong hit of fear strike my chest. They had gotten Rory and Amy too. This was the worst-case scenario.
"Move," the Dalek instructed again.
We were led down the hall. One Dalek was leaning in front of us, the other was behind us.
We made it to another cell. Amy and Rory were waiting for us just inside.
As soon as we were all inside, a hatch in the ceiling came undone and the platform we were standing on began to raise itself up.
A room. A circular room full of enough Daleks to fill up a few dozen lecture halls. Far more than they would need to take over a multitude of planets.
"Please, tell me this isn't what I think it is," I spoke to the Doctor quietly.
"What is it," Amy asked. "Spaceship, right?"
"Not just a spaceship," he explained. "The Parliament of the Daleks."
I closed my eyes for a moment. Some part of me wanted to believe that this was all some twisted dream. Another part of me knew very well that it wasn't, but facing the reality around us was too terrifying to contemplate.
We had just escaped death to be handed a death sentence.
I only opened my eyes because I heard the Doctor start telling them to take their shot. I was ready to slap him.
"Save us," the emperor spoke up.
"Excuse me?" I admittedly didn't think much before I snapped back at the creature.
"You will save the Daleks."
I scoffed. Another decision that I didn't think through properly.
The room began chanting at all of us. Just repeating the same three words over and over. Save the Daleks.
As the voices died down, The Doctor started pacing.
After a little while, I heard Amy and Rory mumbling to each other. I tried to pay it no mind, but it was difficult when the tension between them was more suffocating than the fear of being surrounded by Daleks.
I didn't mind the muttering until it turned to me.
"And (Y/n) is constantly glancing at us because they want to help us from whatever is wrong with us," Amy whispered. "'Oh no, Amy and Rory are clearly not alright, how are we going to fix that?'"
"Get better at hiding the tension if you don't want me worrying about you," I said bluntly.
She looked down for a moment.
"We have arrived," one of the Daleks announced.
"Arrived where," the Doctor asked.
"Doctor," the emperor said.
"The Prime Minister will speak with you now," the woman from our original meeting spoke up, motioning over to him.
The Doctor didn't move for a minute. When he did, he didn't turn to face their emperor- sorry- their Prime Minister. He moved over to me.
The Doctor stepped closer to me, taking my hand in his as he mumbled into my ear, "We don't have to do this, We could run-"
"Yes, we do," I cut the Doctor off as I looked at him. "They won't let us walk out of here if we don't."
I saw the sad look cross his eyes.
"I don't care if I die," I whispered. "But I will not be the reason that you or Amy or Rory die. I just won't."
He took a deep breath before kissing the side of my head and stepping back. He turned back to the Prime Minister.
He stopped by the woman. "Do you remember who you were before they emptied you out and turned you into their puppet?"
"My memories are only activated if they are required to facilitate deep cover or disguise."
"Look at that," I replied sarcastically. "We were important enough to switch the memories back on."
The Doctor continued approaching the Prime Minister. I took a few steps closer behind him. Quiet support more than anything else.
"What do you know of the Dalek asylum," the creature asked.
"According to legend, you have a dumping ground," he replied. "A planet where you lock up all the Daleks that go wrong. The battle-scarred, the insane, the ones even you can't control. Which never made any sense to me."
"Why not?"
"Because you'd just kill them."
"It is offensive to us to extinguish such divine hatred."
That statement made me sick to my stomach. I interrupted the Doctor, "Offensive?"
"Does it surprise you to know that Daleks have a concept of beauty?"
"No," I shook my head. "I am just surprised that after so long you can still find ways to be so disgusting. Hatred so beautiful that you have to keep hurt, scared creatures in a cage like a personal zoo? Such a fixation on the emotion that it makes you go against your entire purpose. Kill what's different."
The Doctor started walking down the ramp towards me.
"Perhaps that is why we could never kill either of you," the Prime Minister stated.
I was ready to stand and argue, but I didn't get the chance before a hole in the middle of the floor opened. We both walked over to it, looking down at the planet just underneath it.
"The asylum occupies the entire planet," the woman- Darla- explained. "Right to the core."
"How many Daleks are in there," the Doctor asked.
"A count has not been made," she answered. "Millions, certainly."
I was next to speak up, "All still alive?"
"It has to be assumed. The asylum is fully automated. Supervision is not required."
"Armed?" Amy looked over.
"A Dalek is always armed."
"What color?"
We all looked at Rory as the question came out of his mouth.
"Sorry, there weren't any good questions left."
"There's a signal being received from the very heart of the asylum," Darla explained. Just as she did, music began playing over the speaker.
"What is the noise," a Dalek yelled. "Explain! Explain!"
"It's me," the Doctor replied.
"Oh God," I muttered, pinching the bridge of my nose.
"Sorry, what?" Rory turned to us.
"I'm playing the triangle," the Doctor grinned, mimicking his motion.
"And hasn't one let me forget that fun fact," I added.
"Carmen," the Doctor pulled the sonic screwdriver out of his jacket and scanned the console that the Dalek had been using. "Lovely show."
I follow him back up the ramp. "Please tell me you're-"
"Tracking back the signal so we can talk to them," he finished my sentence for me.
"Dibs!" I shoved him out of the way. "Hello? Hello... Carmen?"
"Creative."
"Shut up," I muttered. "Hello! Come in, come in. Someone there?"
"Do you read me?" a voice rang out.
"Loud and clear," I replied, smiling properly for the first time since the trip had started. "Identify yourself and report your status."
"Hello," the voice said.
"Hello," I repeated.
"Are you real? Properly real?"
"Actually, properly real. Living, breathing, and bleeding if I am not careful."
"Oswin Oswald," she introduced. "Junior Entertainment Manager, Starship Alaska. Current status: crashed and shipwrecked somewhere... not nice. Been here a year, rest of the crew missing, provision's good but keen to move on."
"A year," I asked. "Are you okay? Under attack?"
"Some local life forms. Been keeping them out."
I looked at the Doctor, scared and confused by the story. "Know what they are?"
"I know a Dalek when I hear one, yeah," she replied.
"What have you been doing all alone, for a year? Against the Daleks?"
"Making soufflés."
I let out an amused huff. "soufflés."
"Where do you get the milk?" the Doctor butted in. I furrowed my eyebrows. It was a good question.
"This conversation is irrelevant." The Dalek did not agree with me. It shut off the signal.
"No, it isn't," the Doctor snapped back.
"Someone crashed into your asylum, meaning there's a big hole in whatever security you had," I joined in. "One thing gets in, millions can get out."
"Even you don't want that," the Doctor added.
"The asylum must be cleansed," the Dalek spoke.
"Then, why is it still here," the Doctor asked. "You have enough firepower to blast it out of the sky."
"They can't," I concluded. "The security that they put on the planet won't allow it. That's why we're here."
"The asylum's forcefield is impenetrable," Darla stepped forward. "And can only be turned off from the inside."
The Doctor went walking down the ramp again. "A small task force could sneak in. Send a couple of Daleks."
He paused halfway down the ramp, noting the silence in the room.
"Oh," he mumbled. "That's good. They're too scared to go down there. What do the Daleks do when they're too scared."
To put it very simply, they were going to launch all of us into a planet. They gave us these bracelets that fended off the nanocloud, which would turn everything that wasn't Dalek into... Dalek. Once we made it down, it was our job to figure out how to shut off the forcefield so they could destroy it.
We were led back to the opening in the floor, where a gravity beam was waiting for us. I reached over and grabbed the Doctor's hand. He rubbed a circle into the skin of my hand with his thumb.
"Ready," I asked.
"Are we ever," he grumbled back to me.
I was hoping to get a chance to jump into the gravity beam on my own. We didn't. Instead, we were all pushed into it.
My next memory was lying in the snow. I groaned as I pushed myself up. I looked around at my surroundings. There was nothing there that I could make any sense of.
I jumped when music started playing next to me. I looked down at an eyestalk looking at me. I moved to lay on my stomach in front of it.
"Oswin?" I called.
"Sorry!" she replied. "I pressed the wrong switch. You okay?"
"I just got launched at a planet, but I could be worse," I shrugged. "How are you doing that? This is Dalek technology."
"It's very easy to hack."
"Respectfully, no, it really isn't. Where are you?"
"Somewhere underground... I think. Ship broke up when it hit. You coming to get me?"
"(Y/n)!"
I jumped at the sound of the Doctor's voice. The camera disappeared as soon as he spoke.
"Dammit," I mumbled, pushing myself to stand up.
"Who are you talking to?"
"Oswin," I replied.
"Soufflé girl?"
"She has a name."
"Doctor!" Amy came running at us from the other side of a hill.
The Doctor helped steady her.
"Where's Rory," he asked.
"There was another beam," the man pointed vaguely behind us all. He continued following us.
We found a hole in the ground. It was deep enough that we couldn't see the bottom.
The man from earlier led us to a hatch that he had been trying to get into. He explained that his team had come down two days ago and that there were twelve other escape pods.
"Alaska," Amy read out, looking down at the name printed on the ship. "That's the same as Soufflé Girl."
"Two days," I asked, looking at the man. He nodded before opening the hatch. "It can't be the same as her. She's been here a year."
We all followed him down.
"There should be some climbing rope long enough for that hole," he explained.
I stepped around one of the seats when I spotted a hood. I leaned down only to be met with a skeleton sitting in the seat. Can't be merely two days old. It couldn't have been.
"Won't you introduce us to your crew," the Doctor asked. I grabbed his arm and stepped as close as possible. "What?"
"They're dead," I mumbled. "That... That one is a skeleton. They can't be two days old."
"Guys, this is the Doctor, Amy, and (Y/n)," the man introduced us. Nothing. I stepped a little further back from the seats. "Guys?"
The Doctor stepped forward, tapping the one I had seen on the shoulder. Its head rolled back, revealing the skeleton. The Doctor checked all of them. With the sonic screwdriver for some reason... they were skeletons, he didn't need to use the screwdriver. They were all dead.
"That's not possible," the man argued. "I just spoke to them. Two hours ago. We were doing engine repairs."
"I'm sorry, but there was no way that's possible. They've been dead a long time."
"Of course," he muttered. "Stupid me. I died outside. The cold preserved my body."
I stepped closer to the ladder, hoping to be ready to run from the man.
Then, an eyestalk started to protrude out of his forehead. "I forgot about dying."
The Doctor grabbed the fire extinguisher off the wall and sprayed it at the man. Amy hit the button next to the door, only shutting it once the man was secured on the other side.
"How'd he get all... Daleked," Amy asked.
"He didn't have a bracelet," I explained. "Nanocloud."
"Microorganisms that automatically process any organic matter, dead or alive, into a Dalek puppet."
"Anything that attacks the asylum immediately becomes on-site security. We've seen the interesting abilities of nano-tech."
"Living or dead?" Amy said. I paused, eyes going wide as I looked around the room.
"The wristbands protect us," the Doctor continued rambling. "The only thing keeping us from going completely-"
"Doctor, shut up," she cut him off. "Living or dead?"
"Yes, exactly, living or..."
The bones of the skeletons started cracking as the creatures stood up. The Doctor took off over the tops of the chairs once he noticed. I mostly followed his lead.
We only had true trouble once one of the creatures had caught Amy's wrist. The door slamming shut was enough to get the thing to let go.
The two of them leaned against the door while I stood across from them.
"Unauthorized personnel may not enter the cockpit," a familiar voice rang out over the intercom in the room.
"Oswin!" I jumped a bit. "I lost you back there, you alright?"
"I'm fine, just lost the signal."
The Doctor moved around me, taking a seat at the console, where a camera was pointed at us.
"Oi, Mr. Grumpy, don't get too close," she said. "Ooo, bad combo. No sense of humor and that chin."
I bit the inside to keep from laughing, even though I heard Amy chuckle behind me.
"What is wrong with my chin," the Doctor asked. He looked over at me.
"Nothing," I promised.
"Careful, don't poke their eye out."
I couldn't stop the laugh that came out of my mouth.
"(Y/n)," he whined.
"Sorry, sorry," I held my hands up. "I think your chin is... very handsome."
"I'm scanning you," Oswin informed us. "You're in another of the escape pods from the Alaska. It seems your power's on."
"How are you hacking into everything," I asked. "That should be impossible."
"Long story," she said simply. "There a word for total screaming genius that sounds modest and a tiny bit sexy?"
I chuckled. "Not that I know off the top of my head, sorry."
"What's your name again?"
"(Y/n)."
"That'll work."
I let out a stunned scoff. "Oswin!"
"What?!"
"I am in a very committed relationship," I explained.
"With the chiny one?"
I had to hold back the laugh that wanted to escape.
"Is it him?"
"Yeah, it's him," I replied.
"Aw, cute," she gushed. "I was hoping it was the redhead."
I shook my head and rolled my eyes. I saw the Doctor's frown and leaned over to press a kiss to his cheek. He let a small grin cross his lips.
There was a beep on her hand. "Check the floor. I'm picking up a breach at floor level. There could be a way out. See you later!"
There had been a hatch on the floor. There was a rope going down into wherever it led. Someone else's escape route.
"This must go straight down to the asylum," the Doctor muttered as he unlocked the hatch.
"Where Rory is," Amy replied.
"Speaking of Rory," I started. "Anything you wanna talk about?"
"Are we going to do this now," she asked.
"What happened?" I countered.
"Just stuff, you know. We split up. What can you do?"
"What can I do," the Doctor mumbled, looking at her.
"Nothing," she explained. "it's not one of those things that you can fix like your bow tie."
The Doctor looked down again.
"Oh, don't give me those big, wet eyes, raggedy man. It's life. Just life. That thing that goes on when you two aren't around. We don't all get to end up traveling all of time and space with our true loves."
I felt a sting of guilt in my chest. I had always known that the Doctor and I were the exception. But Rory and Amy were each other's person. They were stuck together by the universe. They couldn't get away from each other if they tried.
I had grown to see them as an example of sorts.
I looked back at Amy. Maybe she saw us the same way.
There was a rope ladder going all the way to the bottom.
"Someone else got out this way," Amy noted.
"Let's go and find them," the Doctor muttered. He ran to the camera by the door.
They were holding up one of the bracelets. Amy's bracelet.
"Amy," the Doctor whispered.
"What's going to happen to me," she asked. "Seriously? Tell me. What?"
The Doctor didn't reply. Instead, he ran off to the ladder, leading the way down. I let Amy go before me. I followed right behind them, pulling it shut behind me.
"So, what's going to happen to me," she pushed again. "And don't lie. Because I know when you're lying to me and I will definitely fall on you."
"The air all around is full of micro-machines," the Doctor explained. I was stunned that he answered at all. "Robots the size of molecules. Nanogenes. Now that you're unprotected, you're being rebuilt."
By that point, we had made it to the bottom. Granted, by that point, we had already had this conversation at least four times.
"So what happens? I get one of those things sticking out of my head?" she continued.
"Physical changes come later," the Doctor grabbed her hand, pulling her along with us.
"What comes first? How does it start?"
"Your mind. Your feelings, your memories. And I'm sorry but it's already started."
"How do you know?"
"This is the fourth time we've had this conversation."
"I'm scared now."
"Hang onto that," I told her. "Scared isn't Dalek. Hold onto anything that isn't Dalek."
The door opened in front of us.
There was a smell coming from the room.
"What's that," Amy asked.
The Doctor closed the door again. "Stay right there. Don't open this door."
"Oswin," I yelled. "Can you hear me?"
"Hello (Y/n) and the Chin, I have visual on you," she replied. "(Y/n) and the Chin. You two could start a band."
"Why exactly don't we have a visual on you," the Doctor spoke up. "Why can't I ever see you?"
"Limited power, bad hair, take your pick," she explained. "There's a door to your left. Open it."
I looked to my left and went to the door. "Alright."
The door slid open to reveal a small screen.
"I'm going to send you a map to that screen," she explained.
I nodded and stepped inside. "Ready when you are, Oswin."
"Oh, your friend is safe. I can get you to him."
"You found Rory," I asked.
"Yup," she confirmed. "Well, I call him Nina. Personal thing."
I furrowed my eyebrows for a moment before focusing on the screen again.
I watched as she typed away. I followed the map that she was using to guide us. I heard the door open.
"How many Daleks are right ahead of us," I asked.
"Ten, twenty," she estimated. "Some are catatonic, but they do have firepower."
"Doctor," I tried to whisper-shout at him. "Where's Amy?"
He turned around and ran into the room that we had been avoiding earlier. She was standing in the middle.
"How do we get past them," I turned back to Oswin.
The Doctor and Amy shoved their way into the closet with me.
"Okay then," I gasped as I was shoved into the wall.
The sounds just outside the door powered down. The two of them stepped out first and I awkwardly followed.
"It's damaged," the Doctor said.
"Okay, but what do we do," Amy asked.
"Identify me," he turned to the Dalek. "Access your files. Come on."
"You are the Predator," the Dalek spoke.
"Access your standing orders concerning the Predator."
"The Predator must be destroyed!"
"And how are you going to do that? the Doctor stepped forward. "A Dalek without a gun? You're a tricycle with a roof. How are you going to destroy me?"
"Self-destruct initiated," the Dalek shouted.
"What's it doing," Amy asked.
"Destroying the Predator," I explained.
The Doctor lifted the Dalek's hood.
"Self-destruct cannot be countermanded," the Dalek said.
"I wasn't looking for countermand," the Doctor replied. "I'm looking for reverse."
The Dalek proceeded to roll backwards into the large room. It exploded, taking out the other Daleks with it.
We had all been thrown backward.
I shoved myself off the floor. The Doctor picked up a now unconscious Amy and followed me. Rory was standing on the other side of the room.
"Where have you been," I asked.
"Oswin put me in a- a room," Rory pointed behind him. "Is Amy alright?"
"Just unconscious," I explained. "Where's the room?"
He led us into some other room off to the side. The Doctor placed Amy down and we all waited for her to wake up. While we did, the Doctor explained the situation of the stolen bracelet.
"Will the sleeping help her," Rory asked. "Slow down the process?"
"You'd better hope so," Oswin's voice filled the room. "Because pretty soon, she's going to try and kill you."
Amy woke up a moment later, groaning as she did, "Ow."
"Hey," the Doctor said. "Still with us?"
"Amy, it's me," Rory grinned at her. "Do you remember me?"
She reached up and slapped him as soon as the words left his mouth.
"I'd take that as a yes," I advised.
"Same old Amy," the Docter mumbled.
"Do you know how you make someone into a Dalek," Oswin asked. She was quieter now. Like she was scared. "Subtract love, add anger. Doesn't she seem a bit too angry to you?"
"Well, somebody's never been to Scotland," Amy replied, pushing herself up.
"Oswin," I said. "How are you... okay? Why hasn't the nanocloud converted you?"
"I mentioned the genius thing, yeah?" she explained. "Shielded in here."
"Clever of you," I muttered, trying to ignore the nervousness in my stomach. Hope. If I needed one thing right now, it was hope. "Now, the Daleks said that this place was fully automated. But it's a wreck."
"I've had nearly a year to mess with them and not a lot else to do."
"A junior entertainment manager hiding out in a wrecked ship, hacking the security systems of one of the most advanced warrior race the universe has ever seen," the Doctor spoke up as he was scurrying around the room. "But you know what gets me about you, Oswin? The soufflés."
"The soufflés," Amy asked.
"Where do you get milk for the soufflés?"
He turned to the rest of us.
"Seriously, is no one else wondering about that?"
I didn't want to admit that I had found it easier to ignore it. I merely looked down. Rory shut it down more bluntly than I had.
"So, Doctor," Oswin piped up. "I've been looking you up. And you, (Y/n). You're all over the database. Why do the Daleks call you the Predator? Why are you lot such a threat?"
"Not a predator, just a man with a plan," the Doctor replied.
"You've got a plan?"
"In no particular order," the Doctor explained, "we need to neutralize all the Daleks in the asylum, rescue Oswin from the wreckage, escape from the planet, and save Amy and Rory's marriage."
"Alright, I'm counting three lost causes, anyone else," Amy asked.
"Oswin, there's a Dalek ship in orbit," the Doctor said.
"Yeah, got it on the sensors," she replied.
"The asylum has a forcefield. The Daleks are waiting for me to shut it off. As soon as I do, they'll burn this whole world and us with it. So, my question for you is this, how fast can you drop the forcefield?"
"Pretty fast."
"Good. This is a teleport, am I correct?"
"Yeah. Internal use only."
"I can boost the power once the force field is down. And we can use it to beam us right off this planet," the Doctor explained, messing with the teleport.
"But you said that when the forcefield is down, the Daleks will blow us up," Rory pointed out.
"That's why we have to be quick," I spoke up.
"Fine, we'll be quick, but where do we beam to," Amy asked.
"The only place within range. The Dalek ship," the Doctor answered.
"They'd exterminate us on the spot," Amy said.
"We'd survive four seconds longer," Rory agreed.
"What's wrong with four seconds," the Doctor smirked. "You can do loads in four seconds."
"Oswin, how fast can you drop the forcefield?" I called.
"I can do it from here," she explained. "As soon as you come and get me."
"Why don't you drop the forcefield and come to us," I asked.
"There's enough power in that teleport for one go," she replied. "Why would you wait for me?"
"Why wouldn't I?"
"No idea, never met you," she said. "I'm sending you a map so you can come and get me."
"(Y/n)," the Doctor grabbed my arm as I went to run over. I yanked my arm away.
"I'm going to do this," I told him bluntly. "Stay here. Keep them safe. If we don't make it in time, then I want you to go. Got it?"
He stared at me for a moment before letting out a sigh. "Make it back."
"I plan to," I smirked a bit before looking at the map. As I took off, I turned back to him. "I love you!"
"Love you too!" I heard him say behind me.
I stepped out into the hall.
I could hear banging and the sounds of Daleks screaming various threats and promises. They only got louder as I rounded the corner. I took a deep breath as I continued moving.
It was terrifying.
The closed walls, the sound of Daleks yelling. It was all so familiar. I could vividly see myself back in that little box that I had known for far too long. The practice scenarios where I would be faced with almost exactly this situation.
I tried to block out those memories. I had other things to focus on at the moment.
In a more relative sense, it had been going well. I hadn't been met with any loss Daleks and I was close to where I needed to be.
"Oswin," I said quietly. "I think I'm close."
"You are," she replied. "Less than twenty feet away. Which is the good news."
"And the bad?"
"You're about to pass through intensive care."
"Oh, great," I muttered, taking another deep breath.
The door slid open.
It was quiet. Daleks were lined up in cages, all dormant. The lights were off.
"Why are they here," I asked.
"Don't know. Survivors of particular wars. Spiridon, Kembel, Aridius, Vulcan, Exxilon. Ringing any bells."
I felt like the air was being forced out of my lungs. I was being strangled without anyone else around. My legs felt shaky as if my knees were prepared to give out at any given moment. And my head. My head hurt and was swirling with a thousand thoughts and memories.
And all I could was keep walking.
"Yeah," I answered, pausing to look at one of them. "These are the Daleks of the Time War."
I wanted to vomit.
"I was supposed to stop it. I couldn't."
I heard one of the Daleks coming to life behind me. "Savior."
"I'm sorry, what did it call you?"
"Nothing," I replied. "A name that I gave up a long, long time ago."
More Daleks started to wake up. I walked away, hoping to get out of the room as fast as possible.
"Oswin, there's a door but it won't open," I said. "They can't be far away now."
"Hold on. There's a release code, but I just need to find it. Is there anything happening out there?"
"No. But I don't like the silence any more than the yelling."
I heard chains rattling behind me. My breathing spiked again.
"Oswin!"
"Just a second!"
I heard the snapping of chains and my name being yelled again. I pressed my back to the door, putting as much distance between me and the approaching Daleks as I could. None of them seemed to have guns, so I should have been safe.
I closed my eyes, curling in on myself.
And then, it stopped.
All of it just froze.
"Oh, that is cool," I heard Oswin say as the Daleks turned around and moved away from me. "Tell me, I'm cool."
"What did you do," I asked.
"Hang on, I think I found the door thingy-"
"No, I need to know what you just did," I cut her off.
"The Daleks have a hive mind. Well, not really, it's more of a telepathic web."
"And?"
"I hacked into it," she explained. "Did a master delete on all the information connected with the Savior or (Y/n). Including information about the Doctor and your friends."
I let out a breathy laugh at the idea, tears filling my eyes. "You made them forget me."
"Good, huh," she asked. "And here comes the door."
"The Doctor has tried hacking into the path web before. He could never find a way to do it. I never even tried because of how much security they've got on it."
"Come and meet the woman who can."
The door slid open behind me. I scrambled inside but froze just in the doorway.
"Hey, you're right outside," the voices were mixing together. One Oswin's and the other was... Dalek. "Come on in."
"Oswin," I said. I took a step forward. "We have a problem."
"No, we don't," she replied. "Don't even say that. I joined the Alaska to see the universe and crashed on my first trip. You're here. You can take me to see it all. Properly."
"I can't."
"Why not?"
I swallowed the lump in my throat. "Does it look real to you? That little place you're in right now?"
"It is real."
"It's a dream," I said. "Your mind constructed a safe place for you. Reality got too terrible. Too scary."
Her voice disappeared. All that was left was the Dalek's. "Where am I?"
"They did a complete transformation on you," I explained. "You are... a Dalek."
"No, no, I'm not a Dalek. I'm human."
I stepped forward, gently touching the shell of the creature. "You were when you crashed. But they found you... you climbed out of that pod we found."
"I'm human."
"Not anymore. I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry."
There was no answer.
"You're a genius. They need genius."
There was still no response.
"I am so sorry," I started walking backward, closer to the door. "The Doctor asked earlier, but you never had to answer. Where did you get the milk? And the eggs? For the soufflés?"
"Eggs..." the Dalek voice shot fear into my stomach.
"I'm sorry."
"Ex... term... i... nate."
"Oswin," I muttered, stepping further back.
"Exterminate!"
"Oswin, wait!"
I scrambled back toward the door as the chains snapped off.
"You don't have to do this! They turned you but look at what you've done so far! You are still good! You are still you! Oswin, please!"
The Dalek stopped just in front of me.
"Oswin?"
"Why do they hate you," she asked. "You and that man. Why do they hate you so much?"
"I fought them. With him. More times than I can count."
"We have grown stronger out of fear."
"I know. That's... That's part of why we tried to step away. Stop giving them a reason to be stronger."
"Run."
"What," I asked. "What did you say?"
"Run," she repeated. "I've taken down the forcefield. The Daleks have begun their attack. Run.
I blinked at her a few times. I couldn't think of what to say.
"Oswin-"
"I am Oswin Oswald. I fought the Daleks and I am human. Remember me."
I grinned at her. "Yeah. I will. Thank you."
"Run," she urged me. I nodded and turned around as I heard something start crumbling around me. "Go save that clever boy of yours... and remember."
I have never thought about how difficult it is to run while you're crying. It hinders every system you had. Eyesight and breathing and your sense of direction gets shot by the emotion.
It was a miracle that I made it to the teleport in time. I jumped into the Doctor, hugging his as tight as I could.
"You alright?"
"We don't have time," I shrugged it off as I stepped back. There was another rumble. "We have to go."
He nodded. He hit a button on his control panel.
The Daleks were panicking when we got there. We ended up inside the TARDIS, but we could still hear them worrying about being under attack.
"You guys should have seen this coming," the Doctor yelled. "The thing about me and teleports is that I have really good aim. Pinpoint accurate, in fact. Or, to put it another way..."
"Please don't," I begged, going to grab his arm.
"Suckers!"
He stepped out of the TARDIS before I could stop him. I followed him out. If I couldn't stop him, then I could be next to him when he got himself killed.
The Dalek yelled at us, "Identify yourself! Identify!"
"What," the Doctor asked. "You know me."
"She did it," I whispered.
"Who did what," the Doctor turned to me.
"We should go," I said.
The Dalek yelled again, "Identify yourself!"
"The Doctor... The Oncoming Storm-"
"Titles are not meaningful in this context. Doctor who?"
I let out a sharp, relieved breath at the question. And then at how the question spread like wildfire.
"Come on," I grabbed the Doctor's hand.
He didn't question me any further, just following me back inside as the Daleks continued yelling.
Our next stop after that was Rory and Amy's home. They stepped out, waving to us as we went.
As the TARDIS took off again, it felt like the adrenaline finally wore off, I felt the tears coming back to my eyes.
I covered my mouth, leaning forward a bit and laying my other hand on the railing. The sobs started long before I ever had a chance to stop them.
"(Y/n)?- Hey," the Doctor walked over. He reached out and touched my arm.
It was as if that made me snap back to my senses. I quickly wrapped my arms around him, hiding my face in his shoulder.
"Hey, hey," he whispered, hugging me back. He ran his hand up and down my back a bit. "What happened?"
"I was too late," I muttered. I leaned back, wiping my eyes as I did. The Doctor's hands touched my sides. "I... I found her, but they... they had done a complete transformation."
"The milk and eggs," he mumbled.
"She... She wasn't even aware of it," I continued. "That's why she thought she had all of this stuff. She really thought that she was still human. That she was just waiting so I could save her."
The Doctor leaned over to kiss my forehead before pressing his against mine. "There was nothing you could have done."
I didn't respond for a moment.
"(Y/n)..."
"She did something," I said. "She got into their telepathic web and... she deleted all of the information about you and me."
"Really?"
"She saved our lives. And all I gave her was false hope."
The Doctor pulled me into another hug. "I'd like to think you saved hers as well. In some way."
I closed my eyes.
"A new way of thinking can save someone more than we'll ever know."
I would love to think that he was right.
And maybe he was, but it would be a very long time before I accepted that possibility.

Enemies to lovers prompts with hero x villain dynamics
Scenarios
Hero: an extremely sharp and skilled detective with some past trauma is trying to bring down a criminal mastermind who has managed to evade the law for years. Villain: a criminal mastermind and a scheming assassin who has never been caught and always manages to stay one step ahead of the law — or so he thinks — till they meet the hero. Scenario: the detective is hired to track down the assassin, but as they pursue a cat and mouse game with each other, they begin to develop a begrudging respect for the other's skills, and slowly, feelings grow unknowingly.
Hero: a skilled archer who is determined to overthrow an evil king who has taken over a kingdom. Villain: the king's right-hand man, a warrior who is fiercely loyal to him due to a favour he's received in the past. the hero and villain have crossed paths when they were children. Scenario: the hero must outsmart the warrior in order to infiltrate the king's castle and take him down, but the two constantly find themselves in situations where they are stuck in the same hideout, and things escalate from there. (bonus: the villain reveals to the hero that he remembers them from years back, and to the villain's surprise, the hero is actually aware, all this time.)
Hero: a brilliant doctor who gets wind of a rogue scientist who’s about to unleash a deadly pathogen into the world, and risks their life to stop him. Villain: the scientist's mentee, an intellectual but insecure person whom the scientist takes advantage of to do his dirty work. Scenario: the both of them must race against time to stop the scientist's plans before it's too late, but have to overcome their conflicting morals before they finally reach a consensus on their mission.
Dialogue
"You're a villain, a lowlife, a soulless being. Exactly why should I trust you?" "Because I've never lied to you. not once. And because, deep down, you know that we have an irreplaceable connection."
"Never in my wildest dreams... did I expect something like this to happen," "Like what?" "Like— like this— a whirlwind romance in the craziest of situations— that I'd actually meet someone... like you."
"I can't believe I'm actually considering helping a goody-two-shoes like you, but—" "But?" "But... you're not like the others... I guess. You see the world in shades of grey, not black and white."
"I don't want to hurt you— god, I never want to—" "Even if it means not accomplishing your mission?" "Even if it means not accomplishing my mission."
"I can't let you go, not after everything we've been through." "Then don't. Stay with me,"
"You know, you're really the only one who's ever understood me," "Then why do you keep hurting people?" "Because... it's the only way I know how to get what I want— but perhaps now I don't need to... with you here now. You are everything I need."

Hello! I love your work so I wanted to request this.
I have afew slasher OBSESSIONS! But at the moment Thomas is my biggest one.
I see many stories of the slashers being so excited for having lil ones. It warms my heart so big VwV
However I've been thinking alot on the scenario of "what if for some reason a child can't be had?"
With Thomas being such a family man... would he no longer want s/o if they can't have a child or maybe don't want them? Would they find another way? Or maybe just be happy with just having eachother for the rest of their lives?
It can be a sad thought, ik. But for ppl that for one reason or another cant and/or don't want lil ones... how would Thoman (or others) respond to this?
I very much need this if you're willing to do it.
Thank you so kindly either way ^w^

In which Thomas Hewitt wants try for a baby, a wish that can never be granted.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Diagnosed Issue
The doctor has diagnosed you with infertility, a fact that ruined any image you had of having a baby.
For a while, you went without really caring, your mind more focused on meeting bills and moving out to Texas to a family home you inherited from your father, who had passed recently.
You had no little time to think about the baby situation until you moved to Texas and met the Hewitt’s boy, Thomas. It was here that you fell in love and ended up moving in, finding a home within the Hewitt family.
For a while you and Thomas live happily together but eventually he begins to ask about a baby, seeing as he is a rather big family guy himself.
The very mention of a baby sets you off and you bawl your eyes out because you did in fact want a baby with Thomas. You wanted your own family with him but you couldn’t have it. The words of the doctor rung louder than ever the day Thomas asked you.
It took you a while to calm down before you could tell Thomas, before you could inform him that you couldn’t have a baby. He was perplexed at the situation at first but after you explained why, he understood.
He was deeply saddened but understanding, rubbing your back softly as you cried about how sorry you were for not being able to conceive.
Yes Thomas was saddened and disheartened but he didn’t hold it against you. You were glad he didn’t hold it against you.
It would take both of you a while to get used to the news but you had each other and that’s all that really matters now.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Want Issue
You had been living with the Hewitt family for a few years now. Within those few years, you’ve grown particularly close to Thomas, the adopted son of Luda.
The two of you had an open and honest relationship, one that you both strived to make as happy and healthy as possible.
Naturally, sense there is so much love and chemistry built up between the two of you, Thomas brings up the idea of having a baby with you.
You’re first instinct is no. You don’t want a baby, you never have because it was simply a burden you didn’t want to carry.
Thomas feels rejected by this, his dream crushed because all he’s ever wanted was a baby that he could raise as his own. Of course, he believes he won’t be the best parent but he wants to try and he’s confused on to why you don’t want one.
For a while, he goes about and tries to convince you but you deny him each time. You eventually start feeling bad but you stand firm.
After a few days of failed convincing, Thomas decides to drop the subject and refuses to mention it anymore. If you try and bring it up to apologize, he’ll shrug it off and physically remove himself from the room.
You don’t know what to do because Thomas also begins distancing himself. You want him to be happy but you don’t want a baby. It causes a rift to form between the two of you.
You ended up finding a baby kitten along the side of the road and adopted it, allowing Thomas to have a “baby” without having an actual child to take care of.
Thomas was iffy about it at first but grew fond of the little cat and quickly grew into an excellent cat father. You were the mother but you allowed Thomas to be the main parental figure, seeing as you never wanted a child in the first place. However, if Tommy asked you to hold the kitten for a while, you wouldn’t object.
After all, the kitten wasn’t so bad.
Thomas became more vocal and close after that, as if a breath of fresh life had washed over him. You were glad he was feeling back to normal and he was smiling again.

Thinking back on Sanji × Usopp × Kaya, I have come up with this scenario:
So, it's post final war. Everything has gone down and the Strawhats can finally celebrate their victory and reunite with their loved ones. Sanji and Usopp have been togheter for quite sometime, but part of Usopp still whishes that things had gone differentely between him and Kaya. After all they were with each other at their respective lowest points, being the only people they could fully trust and the only person that Usopp felt comfortable with sharing certain things. (Ninjin, Piiman, and Tamaneg were too young to understand some stuff, like what are you gonna say to a bunch of 5-7 year olds?)
Usopp has talked about this with Sanji, and Sanji is fully supportive of the possible idea of starting a poly relatioship with Kaya. After all Usopp had talked a lot about her and very positevely, and for Sanji its also one more beautiful lady in his life.
So there is this huge post war celebration where you got all of the Strawhats's allies, friends and family. (at least the one who made it after the battle) Kaya happily approaches Usopp in a huge hug. She is so happy that he got to live out his dream, and became a brave warrior of the sea just like he wanted. And of course she also thrilled to met all of his crewmates since she only knew three of them and not even that well.
We get a bit of sn intriduction, untill finally Usopp gets to introduce her to Sanji. And let me tell you: they get along so well. Firstly Sanji greets her in sych a nice polite way. She is used to suitors, she's an heiress after all, but Sanji is different. He compliments her with such nice, soft, welcoming words she had never experienced before. He looks at her in a way no one has ever done before and her respects her as well. She is almos5 ashamed to admitt it, but Sanji made a way better first impression tyan Usopp. (Not that it was hard tho, the guy literally broke into her house lmao)
They start talking to eachother, Usopp doesn't tell her about him and Sanji dating, she wants them to know each ither a bit first. So during the banquet (Luffy is hosting this victory party, of course there is a shit tone of food. And Zeff came as well so its pretty good) They all share the good things about their adventure. Usopp would start listing some of his proudest feats, like finding the only weakness of the ghost princess of Thriller Bark, or ending the 20 years of hortor that the warlord Doflamingo brought upon Dressrosa. This time he doesn't need to lie, he has proved himself as brave, and he believes in himself too. And Sanji would throw in some other bits as well, like the raid on Onigashima and how working togheter ultimately saved Wano.
Kaya is fashinayed by all of this. She is so happy about Usopp growing stronger and more confidentely, and of course about him meeting new people as well. She kinda whishes that she had been there too, to support Usopp and his friends and maybe help out. She will also talk about some of the stuff that has happened to her, like her medical studies and maybe some doctor trivia. She woukd at one point mention some kind of plant that can be used to extract a type of medication but before she can say its name Usopp and Sanji said it in unison. They both knew it because Usopp had experiences with plants in the 2 years soent training, and Sanji uses it as a great substitute for basil sometimes. They all laugh at this coincidence.
After a while tho Kaya and Sanji would start talking a bit more with each other. Even on more simple stuff maybe realated to desing or fashion, considering they both grew up surrounded by luxurious things. (With Kaya being a heiress, and Sanji being a former prince with a charming fashion sense). Usopp just whatches them, and he is so glad that they are getting along. He knew they would have likely liked eachother, after all they were both compassionate, kind, composed and mature individuals who had things in common.
And so, pleased with this, Usopp would come foward, and tell her that him Sanji were dating. Kaya is surprised at first, but she is happy for them, even if she whishes her and Usopp could have somehow been togheter. But then, the two of them would finally adress the elephant in the room, and propose her the idea of polyamory. Because surprise, surorise, Usopp still does love her, and Sanji is really fond of her too.
Kaya is taken aback. She does still love Usopp as well, and Sanji is great as well, they clicked off almost immediately. She tells them that she will defenetely think about it and that it is a possibility that she is willing to take. Usopp and Sanji are happy about this, and after the whole banquet ends (spoiler: its gonna be very fucking long, but it diesn't matter cause One Piece parties are on a whole different level of great and Nami is paying) she will come foward and finally, accept this offer and join their relationship.
Meanwhile the whole crew as well as Zeff and the 3 Usopp pirates (Yasopp still has his I-can't-face-my-child-after-all-these-years desease) are all watching this from afar.
And bonus scene: once Yasopp does decide to congratulate his son about his boyfriend and girlfriend he is chased away from them violently by at least 20 different people. Usopp notices, but pretends not to have and just cringes inside.
I love this so much!!!! I'm always thinking about Sanusokaya. My beloveds. They'd have such a great and sweet dynamic together. I think Usopp looks at Sanji and some things he does reminds him of Kaya. He has a type for sure. And the relationship between Kaya and Sanji would be just,, So cute. They'd be together for Usopp at first, but I think their relationship would obviously grow into something way deeper and intimate without Usopp necessarily having to be around. Kaya sees Sanji as who he truly is and Sanji sees all the kindness in the world in her. Usopp couldn't be happier, really. He's the luckiest man in the world.
#this just.... so sweet so so cute#crying shaking and sobbing they deserve all the love in the world#one piece#black leg sanji#usopp#kaya one piece#usokaya#sanuso#sanusokaya

There are a lot of possible pipe dreams of characters secretly returning in wild blue yonder, but I've come to the conclusion that the best case scenario is if Clara comes back. I'm not even just saying that because I love Clara. I do love Clara, but there are other Doctor Who characters I love at least as much. I just think in the aftermath of a companion becoming the doctor, having that taken away, getting it back, and choosing to give it up, having her meet the companion who actually did become The Doctor would make for some interesting character drama. Donna reminiscing about what she could have had, how it would have been better and how it would have been worse. This is definitely not going to happen, but someone needs to write that fanfic.

- "dakota has been very scared to go see his aunt for a very long time. i dont think he ever would have done that alone. i almost wanted him to say that to you guys in the episode but i dont think he wouldve even processed it enough to admit that yet"
- condi and charlie both said they didnt really know what to say in character a lot kf the time but then they realized they didnt really have to say anything, the important part was that the characters where physically there for dakota in that moment
- grizzly: "i mean im sure it was a huge surprise for william and vyncent not just the scenario itself because dakota never talked about it, but the fact that i dont think theyve seen him get emotional like that. its always been sort of over the top righteous anger and never anything this soft or quiet" (charlie: im curling up in a ball on the floor)
- DAKOTA DAMASCUS !!!!!!!!!!!
- they (bizly and grizzly) were a little nervous about how well this was gonna play out because its such a direct real life kind of issue, but they both really like that it adds such a huge layer to dakotas character
- bizly: "i mean, you have this guy- both of his parents were literally killed in the wake of a superhero fight and he STILL grows up with the mindset of 'i wanna be a superhero!' and just this unwavering optimism and urge to do the right thing"
- condi: "i cant wait for us to get into william shit too i reaaally wanna get into whats going on with him"
charlie: "huh? what william stuff?"
condi, suddenly SUPER AGGRESSIVE: "I wanna go to *FUCKING DEADWOOD*"
- grizzly: "i mean william is scared of facing things so part of dakotas whole goal with this was to face something he was really scared of doing to hopefully inspire william to do the same"
- charlie: "i think ive said this before but i think william sees dakota as... making it. into the prime force, as a superhero, just as The Guy who stands out above us all, right. i think he sees dakota making it out of all of this. i don't think he sees that for himself."
grizzly: "dakota Will Not make it to that point without dragging william and vyncent up with him. hes not gonna leave them behind for anything"
- "there are a lot of things william would pry into way too much, i mean its literally on his sheet as one of his complications, but i dont think he would ever pry about this unless dakota brought it up first and wanted to talk about it" aaaahhh the ghostkicksisms
- bizly had said someone had been in the apartment recently, which was weird because his aunt has been in rehab for a WHILE. grizzly doesnt even know who it couldve been
- they said they intentionally kept the details of her rehab sort of vague, they didnt want to get too into the descriptions of it bc that would be too real and too heavy and they wouldnt want to represent anything like that in a poorly handled way. generally though she is there for addiction/alcoholism
- "how pissed would you guys be if we got to the end of the campaign and le frog was the final boss" and they all get VERY GENUINELY ANNOYED JUST AT THE THOUGHT OF THAT POSSIBILITY "bizly i would leave. i would quit"
- charlie: "i have NOTABLY *not* been using a secret identity for a LONG time. because i think william stopped taking the whole hero thing seriously, he doesnt see a point in it anymore"
- bizly says they have already met who he plans to be the final villain of the whole campaign!! theyre trying to guess now, charlie says it would be cool if it was mark (holy shit), grizzly says mal !!!! he thinks mal is going to take the tricksters power in some way. he also jokingly said it would be funny if harlem shade turned out to be the main bad guy because he would have fun playing him as a villain. (condi had to leave early so he doesnt get a guess) . charlie says they all have their own Big Villains right now (wiwi has mal, vyncent has the lich, grizzly doesnt have one yet but he probably will eventually), but he doesnt necessarily see mal becoming THE villain. neither of them think the trickster is going to be the main villain since the whole point of season 2 has been to get ashe back
- GRIZZLY ADMITS HE THINKS MARK IS A REDEEMABLE CHARACTER. WIN !!!!!!!!!!!
DAKOTA CHARACTER STUDY WHOOOOO!!!!!! I MADE IT!!!!!!! a little blood covered and trembling but i made it!!! also jesus i have a BACKLOG of trivia u sent me i wanna talk about so bad... thank u king btw. its so fucking awesome 2 finish an episode & then receive so much trivia about it. fuck yes a little bowl of seeds for me (<- can't stop fucking saying that now!!)
I LOOVE the prime rifterssss i love fan created characterssss theyre so good!!! man. i love summer and doug. yeah even doug. also YEAH the reason he fucking thinks there's three summers is because he has FUCKING BRAIN DAMAGE from ONE MILLION CONCUSSIONS and JUMPING OFF A SKYSCRAPER and being EXPERIMENTED ON!!!!! NKDFKDFGHfgk. or at least. thats what i think.
i also thought he was gonna turn it into a wisp!!!!!!! i was so surprised when it didnt work... my assumption is that they were like, different variants of the same thing, whatever that thing fucking is. which. i guess is maybe not true!! wild.
FEELING INSANE OVER EPISODE 20. LIKE. IN GENERAL. joining charlie in a fucking ball on the floor tbh. what i will say before i spend like, a fucking week sorting through my thoughts & shit is that i do think they did a really good job w/ handling the addiction plot point... whenever anything like that comes up it really is always a crapshoot of like oh okay is this going to be unintentionally shitty to addicts. is this going to be wildly inaccurate. is it going to be ableist. etc etc etc. & i think the vague and blurry brushstrokes that they Did draw were really well done... more specific detail wouldn't have carried nearly as much weight as that description of their trashed rotting apartment & the way they reacted 2 seeing each other !!! wails and cries and throws up.
ALSO, the way his parents were killed feels like such a fucking missing piece slotting into place for his character? i had figured that-- ok i knew his parents were dead & i also knew he'd had.. personal experience with the um. violent and dangerous area of effect superheroism has. but knowing they were collateral damage in that umm. knockoff darkseid? darkstar? fight makes so much sense irt his perception of heroism & not wanting to be responsible for deaths. god.
& ummm i'm feeling fucking normal about "he sees dakota making it out of all this, he doesn't see that for himself." & "he doesn't see a point in the superhero thing anymore" like, we knew that already. but. doesn't make it easier to hear!! MORALLY AMBIGUOUS VIGILANTE WILLIAM WISP WHEN.
i have no idea who the bbeg is gonna be dude. oh my god. its gonna end up being fucking alan (allen??) or something. it's gonna be one of the s5. this is amogus now. anyway. GOOD EPISODE!!!
#also WHOOOOO mark mention i love u mark winters. what the fuck are you up to now babygirl i miss u...#mac tag!#pd lb

miguel x pregnant!reader hcs? like before the baby is born but after she finds out she's pregnant?
Miguel x Pregnant Reader
Fem!Wife!Reader ○ Sweetness ○ Pure Fluff
Send me more cute stuff like this, please. I love it. Any character, any domestic scenario. I love them 💖
He's such an attentive daddy-to-be. He likes to be right beside his wife through the motions of pregnancy. Morning sickness? He's right there holding her hair and rubbing her back. Any discomfort or tension? He'll give her a massage. Late night food cravings? He's in the kitchen with her whipping up whatever she wants.
Wants to start on the baby's room immediately. He already has ideas for it but sits down with his wife to discuss all of their ideas and get a clear picture of something they both want. They decide to go gender neutral when it comes to overall design and theme, agreeing that when they know the sex of the baby they'll get some more traditionally boy or girl items to put in there.
They decide on a cute starry theme and Miguel gets to work on finding all sorts of night sky themed stuff for the room. The walls get painted a pretty, deep blue that will be accented by lighter blues, whites and yellows. Wall stickers of shooting stars and a sign that says "Never Stop Dreaming." Fluffy cloud pillows for the feeding chair and blankets with twinkling stars all over them ✨️
Miguel is the kind of dad who goes all out no matter what and the baby isn't even born yet. He makes sure mama and baby are as comfortable as can be. This gets a bit tricky when the little one starts moving around, though.
He lays in bed with his head level with her growing belly, a gentle hand rubbing it soothingly as everyone is tired and ready to sleep. He has to tell the baby goodnight though, but this leads him to telling them about his day. But as things wind down, he yawns and says, "Daddy loves you so much," before kissing her belly and shuffling up to the pillows and covering himself and his wife with the blanket.
When she gets one of those huge pregnancy pillows, that he bought her because he researched all the benefits of having one, he gets a little pouty. He likes to cuddle and especially now that she's pregnant. He just wants to hold her all the time, but when they're in bed, he can't now.
He wakes up early in the mornings and talks to her belly. He whispers and tries his best not to wake her. However, she eventually does stir, at which point he asks her what she wants for breakfast. He never disappoints, making her whatever she and the baby wants every morning. Even if it's something from a restaurant, he hops in the car and is back in record time with it.
Makes time to be at every doctor's appointment with her. It's important to him to know that his wife and child are healthy, but it doesn't feel right not to join her there. He wants to get to know the doctor and everyone helping them along this journey. If missed even one appointment, he'd feel guilty.
As it gets closer to his wife's due date, he gets antsy and stressed. There's always those last minutes preparations and he's trying to get it all done while keeping a watchful eye on his wife. He's on high alert at all times.
He's so ready for this baby to come and he's excited. He can't wait to meet them, hold them, kiss their little head.

Since Ghosts is coming to an end this year: what kind of project would you like to see the Six Idiots do next?
Pick one realistic idea you think they would probably do and one that's purely self-indulgent one and will most likely never happen.
A comedy about war
I've been thinking that something along the lines of M*A*S*H would work incredibly well for the Idiots. For those who don't know it, M*A*S*H is a show about the Korean War that focuses on a group of doctors and nurses on the front lines. Just like in Ghosts, the characters are stuck in one place with no way to leave (until the war is over) and you get this wonderful mix of light-hearted silliness and heartbreaking devastation - exactly the kind of thing the Idiots love to do. They probably wouldn’t go down the exact same route as M*A*S*H and use a hospital setting because that's obviously been done already but change the setting to a POW camp or a military base and you'd get a similar scenario.
(Alternatively, a show set on a ship during the Napoleonic Wars where Martha plays an officer who sneaked her way into the Navy as a girl by pretending to be a boy. Everyone else knows she's a woman but turns a blind eye because she's brilliant and more competent than most of them put together. All the other crews they encounter, be they pirates or Navy, would be played by the Six Idiots as well, of course).
Prehistoric time travel shenanigans
Primeval meets Six Idiots? Yes, please. I don't care how silly the premise of the show would be but I want time travel shenanigans, cute little prehistoric baby animals (the cave bear cub will be called Robin, of course) and some actual palaeontology sprinkled in here and there. Let them fall through a rift in time and fumble their way through the Permian ("Thank god there's no T. rex here - blooming hell is that gorgonopsid fast! Run!"). Let them get lost in the Pleistocene and realise none of them know how to make a fire. Let them land in the Eocene and think that's not too bad only to get almost eaten by a Basilosaurus while taking a swim or mauled by an entelodont while foraging for berries. I know they'd never get the budget for a show like this but a girl can dream and I'd just love to see six silly characters stumble through time while trying to survive and find their way home.

okay right so this has been swirling around in my brain for AGES so in honor of me hitting the halfway point on “say yes”:
what if we stuck them in the OTHER award-winning movie that came out in 1997?
I don’t have a defined plot here or anything this is not gonna be a fic (I have my hands full) but here’s what I do know:
Skylar’s here! because guess what I love Skylar! and she’s basically taking Rose’s role, but her whole deal is that she’s got this dream of becoming a doctor but is getting pushed into marriage for financial/societal/plot reasons (Asshole From Harvard makes a cameo as the fiancé)
but then she meets Will, who really just wants to get back to Boston and his job at the dockyards, and his childhood friend who can’t stop staring at him when the wind’s in his hair and the sun’s streaming down the side of his face!
so it’s Skylar and Chuckie and Will running around the lower decks. they sneak her into a party, she drinks them under the table, Will has to undergo the nightmare scenario of having two people who love you dearly gang up on you and ask what the hell you’re going to do with your life (oof)
Not sure how or if Sean fits into this. Sorry, Sean.
uh but then obviously shit hits the fan, and it’s been a LONG time since I actually watched Titanic because my father insists on shouting “my fart will go on” at the top of his lungs throughout so I don’t remember all the details
but they end up in the water! fun fact did you know that in the original drafts for Good Will Hunting Chuckie was supposed to die in a construction accident?
so he’s in the water and it’s so fucking cold and he’s trying to tell Will to be happy with Skylar and do something with his life
but Will just won’t let go and hauls him onto the door, which almost capsizes but doesn’t because somebody here is enough of a math genius to figure out the weight distribution so that doesn’t happen
and Skylar, the woman who’s read every medical textbook she could find, who had to teach herself because no one else would do it, manages to keep all three of them from succumbing to hypothermia before they can get picked up by the rescue ship
cut to Boston, Massachusetts, May 1913, and Skylar walks into a certain bar not far from the docks in Southie to tell her boys (now including Billy and Morgan) that she fucking aced an exam at the Boston University Med School (because Harvard’s med school didn’t admit women until 19 fuckin 45, the bastards)
and if she catches Will (who is actually doing something math-related these days) and Chuckie tangling their legs together under the table, well, hey, it’s good to be alive

Dragon Ball Z: Episode of Bardock Abridged Review
Originally posted December 14th, 2015
I’m not sure what’s going on, and I’m okay with that.
The scenario for “Episode of Bardock” set up by the source material is a very strange one. After being hit with Freeza’s planet destroying energy ball, Bardock is somehow sent back in time four thousand years, and he finds himself meeting the previous evolution of the Saiyan race and encountering Lord Chilled, the ancestor of Freeza.
He also apparently gains the power to go Super Saiyan, starting the legends that inevitably spread throughout the galaxy when he uses this power to defeat Chilled, which would seem to break every rule about time paradoxes that we know to exist.1 That scenario creates a problem very different from the problem of Revenge of Cooler; Team Four Star has to figure out a way to get us to suspend our disbelief despite the ridiculousness of this story.
Their solution is a damn clever one. To make this story palatable, they turn its ridiculousness up to eleven and add a layer of meta-commentary to the story itself. Right before Bardock gets transported to the past, the narrator claims that this should be Bardock’s end if it weren’t for the need to merchandise him, and then for good measure, the chorus to “Time Warp” from Rocky Horror plays. The purple Saiyans all sound like the exact same impression of Kermit the Frog, and their names are all misspelled derivatives of 90s rappers, with town doctor being named Dr. Dray and his son being named Twopock.
Lord Chilled, Freeza’s ancestor, is even more eccentric and demanding than his future progeny, and he has the most ridiculous British accent and high pitched voice of any character in the series. When Bardock realizes what is going on, it is the ridiculousness of this scenario that causes him to transform into a Super Saiyan and gain the power to defeat Chilled in time to Beethoveen’s Ode to Joy.
And finally, we cut to Goku telling Gohan this tale about his grandfather, who immediately questions the logical flaws in the scenario only to discover that hearing this story had actually all been a dream. Whether or not any of this actually happened to Bardock is left completely unresolved, and we the audience are left more confused than the story’s scenario ever could have made us on its own.

Stray Observations
1Unless time travel in the Dragonball Z: Abridged universe works like time travel in Lost, but as we find out in future episodes, it doesn’t.
This episode also serves as a much more effective introduction to Bardock’s character than “Father of Goku” did. His first reaction to meeting the purple Saiyans is to enter into an unfathomable rage, he critiques the people terrorizing the purple Saiyans for doing so ineffectively, and he casts shame upon the purple Saiyans for attempting to praise him. He’s also nicknamed “Violent Savior,” and if that doesn’t tell you a lot about him, I don’t know what will.
Narrator: “So ends the tragic fate of Bardock. Or so you’d think, if you didn’t know a thing about merchandising!”
Bardock’s “spiker” train of thought is very similar to a lot of the things we see Goku thinking.
Chilled: “In honor of their deaths, my men shall now and forevermore be given the names of fruits! Pineapple, bring us to planet Plant.” Yellow Alien: “So am I Pineapple?” Chilled: “Yes!”
Henchman: “Hello. We are the Space Police.” Aice Cube: “Man, fuck the police!”
Space Police: “We are here to collect space criminals and other ne’er-do-wells.” Dr. Dray: “I can assure you we have already exiled Chris of the clan Brown from our planet.”
So, if the purple Saiyans get pregnant by being hurt, does that mean I have to kinkshame an entire race?
Chilled: “Because of Raisins! Raisins is my intelligence officer.”
Chilled: “These people seem to have great respect for you. What is your secret?” Bardock: “Maybe it’s because I don’t look like a giant purple and orange tampon.”

Hey! The list of experiences you have had during your 3 years of med school are things that others wouldn't even think about occurring, and so the fact that you would be willing to delve into those topics through your writing, I think is really cool and I'm excited to see what you will write!
Could I request the third one on your list, about the sexual harassment from another employee with one of the characters of Romance MD: Always On Call?
Maybe Sen finding out his MC has been getting harassed by another doctor in the hospital, and that she hadn't told him, and how he would react/support her?
Hi, anon! Thank you for sending me this ask and telling me this. I was afraid that people would think that I seek attention. I'm happy to see that it wasn't the case. Medicine is hard, but I don't imagine doing anything else. I have always wanted to be into a profession that helps people. Yet, I think it's important to show the life from not its pinkest side. If anyone wants to send more requests regarding this, you can find the post in here (Turn my experience as a med student into fan-fiction ideas). I hope you'll like the result. ❤️
MC being sexually harassed by another doctor (Sentaro Kyogoku x MC) (Scenario)
Trigger warning: Sexual harassment
Author's note: The name Dr. Takahashi was chosen randomly.
Summary: Sentaro wanted to help MC enlarge her medical knowledge, however he had no idea where that would make to her.
Word counting: 1427
"Do you want to train under Dr. Takahashi?" Sentaro asked MC while in the EICU headquarters. He knew from the start what her reaction would be: big eyes full of enthusiasm, clapping hands, and unintelligible blabbering. When she finally got hold of herself, MC nodded and spiraled into continuous confirmations. "Butthead," Sentaro mumbled but didn't forget to pat her head.
Dr. Kyogoku hoped that MC's reaction was the same every time she woke up, understanding that she would spend another day with him. Okay, he knew that his girlfriend was at least half as animated in the mornings because of this, thankful she was a step away from reaching her dreams of saving lives and having the love of her life near her. MC would spend twenty-four hours with one of the leading doctors from the NICU, but Dr. Kyogoku was still the best in MC's eyes.
A curious and slightly jealous Sen met MC after her shift with homemade breakfast. However, instead of seeing an exalted MC who could barely shut her mouth, he met an absent-minded girl who didn't glance at the meat on the table.
"Was it a hard shift?" Sentaro asked while munching on something random from the table.
MC looked at him for a while and tried to smile. However, her lips contorted into a thin line that accentuated the bags under her eyes. She shook her head and walked to the bedroom she shared with her boyfriend. Dr. Kyogoku wanted to know more about her shift, her experience with Dr. Takahashi, the differences between them, and maybe some tips. Though, not after MC's sleep, nor any other day he got any information. All he could find was that it was normal and a little about the patients. Sen cared about the patients. It was his job. But he could read their reports. What he wanted to know was about the doctor. A furrow appeared between Sen's brows, a furrow that would grow only deeper.
The first time Sen had a hunch that something wasn't alright was the next day at the EICU headquarters when MC moved her chair a little further from Takado when he sat near her. The furrow spread to the orthopedist. Yet, everyone knew MC and her antics, so there was no reason to get worried, was it?
However, the furrow was more contagious than anyone could expect. Its next victim was Ekuni, whose entire couch got avoided by the once clumsy MC who tripped on him every other day. Poor Hosho had it even worse because his existence was entirely ignored.
The circle was complete when MC flinched under Kasumi's touch when his hand found its place on her shoulder during a meeting. That was when everyone understood that something had happened, and it wasn't just about MC's antics. So, Kasumi had to do something about this because MC was a part of his team, a dear friend, and Sen's most important person.
"Did you observe it?" the cardiologist asked Sen after a meeting in his office. The pediatrician didn't need an explanation to know what his boss was talking about. His shoulder fell, and he let out a long breath.
"Something happened. Why don't you try to cheer her up? Maybe a change of environment will help?"
Sen didn't know what to say but knew he had to do something. For the rest of the day, he tried small tricks on MC to cheer her up: ate ramen with her, used more of his voice, and spent most of the day in her company. However, nothing changed even when they found themselves in Sen's car. So, the boyfriend had to use the last resort.
"What do you think about another shift with Dr. Takahashi?" Sen tried, even if he hadn't talked his over with the doctor.
At these words, MC's eyes got bigger, and she tried to say something, but nothing coherent left her lips. All Sen could understand was his girlfriend's head shook. Something happened, and this had to do with Dr. Takahashi. On the next red light, the man put a hand on MC's thigh, in an attempt to calm her and encourage her to open up. However, she flinched even harder than when Kasumi touched her. She moved her leg, trying to escape from her boyfriend's touch. Sen apologized, then apologized again. Even if it was something normal to rest his hand on her thigh, he had to accept that it made her uncomfortable. He wanted to talk to her about this as soon as possible, but MC ran out of the car when he stopped and shut herself in the bathroom. After an hour, she left but chose to take the side of the bed nearer to the wall, pressing herself entirely on it and putting as much space between her and Sen as possible.
Sen couldn't let it slide. MC was his girlfriend and the most precious person in his life. If she couldn't talk about what had happened, he had to find out by himself. And the fastest route to do it was to go to the first clue - the person after whose interaction with MC had changed: Dr. Takahashi.
It wasn't as if Dr. Kyogoku and Dr. Takahashi were besties. They had a purely professional relationship where they were the happiest not to interact outside the hospital. However, they respected each other as doctors, which was the reason behind Sen's possibility to send MC to study under him. But he was ready to throw everything under the bus if it was for MC.
"I came here to ask you about my protege," Sen started with one of his signature smiles.
"MC? She is one of the best residents I have met in my entire career. You taught her well."
For a second, Dr. Kyogoku let a genuine smile reach his lips. He couldn't stop himself from feeling proud of MC. She was one of the best. However, he didn't have to forget why he was there.
"Did you have any emergencies then? Lost a patient?"
Dr. Takahashi shook his head. They had two operations during the day and then did check-ups. Sen was ready to leave and ask the nurses and the patients or even try to make MC talk. However, the second he stepped outside, he heard Dr. Takahashi mumbling: "Poor thing you are the one who took MC first. Fantastic body and soul."
And it clicked. The furrow between Dr. Kyogoku's brows grew the deepest, and the anger took control of him. With heavy steps, he approached his colleague and took him by the collar.
"What did you just say? What did you do?"
The older doctor tried to step back to escape Sen's fury. However, the grip on his collar was too strong.
"I did nothing wrong. I just listened to my desires. And don't tell me that you have never thought about touching that butt at least once."
Maybe Dr. Takahashi thought he did nothing wrong and was too sure of men's solidarity. But it didn't stop Sen from punching him in the face. In an attempt to save his butt, the offender took a heavy book from his desk, ready to avenge himself. Yet, Dr. Kyogoku was faster and made his opponent drop the improvised weapon. That weakened his defense, and a punch found its place on his lips. Thankfully, the nurses heard the noise and ran to stop the two doctors. Five minutes later, both of them were in the HR office.
MC had no idea what her boyfriend discussed with Dr. Takahashi and the HR department. What she knew was that she had to take care of Sen's wound as gently as possible.
"That's for the first time you touch me in days," Sentaro whispered.
MC let go of Sen's chin and looked at her feet. A tear fell down her cheek.
"You know what happened, don't you?"
"Broadly," Dr. Kyogoku nodded.
That made MC break. She covered her face with her hands, and fat tears fell on the ground.
"Can I touch you?" a heartbroken Sen asked, afraid to hurt MC even more. After he got her approval, he put his hands around her shivering body. "It's okay. I won't let anything like this happen again. It wasn't your fault."
MC's weak hand found its place against her boyfriend's chest. She couldn't talk just then. But she would. And even if she wouldn't, Sen was ready to be near her as long as she needed him and a little longer.

Do you think we’ll get an All For One: Origin chapter before the series ends? Or no? I can sorta see it both ways. On one hand it doesn’t really matter and we know enough about his backstory, but it also seems odd if we don’t get anything on AFO and Yoichi’s childhood in the era when Quirks first emerged.
I'm of two minds about it. On the one hand, I don't think that he really needs any more of his backstory revealed. He's someone who wants to be an evil overload and has the means to do it. What more do you really need? For all of his theatrics, he's a very simple character, and we already got a pretty well laid-out idea of who he was and why he did what he did from the flashbacks. So if you were to do it, what could you add? If anything, it risks going the same route as the recent All Might: Origin chapter. It expanded on what came before, but it didn't really add anything new. Maybe it could show us why he went from having a childhood dream of being a demon king to being the shadow emperor of Japan, because I'd really like to know how he mentally got from A to B on that one. Like was there some event that prompted this or what? Otherwise, I struggle to think of what could be added to him without reinforcing what we already know, ruining what little mystique he had left, or, in the worst-case scenario, trying to make him sympathetic.
Now, I think you could make something out of it if you merely refocused on what it was about. Instead of being about the origin of All For One himself, you use it to fill in the blanks about his story between then and now. Less of an origin story and more of a recap. There is a lot of history that we simply don't know or that has never been expanded upon. All For One is old enough and has a wide enough scope that you could cover a lot of history with him, and I think he could have an interesting perspective on what is happening around him. For example, we could get him to meet some of his associates, like Doctor Garaki and Gigantomachia. Maybe we could have him watching and meeting Tomura like what was implied with Tomura's flashback. Out of all of them, I think the one I would want the most is the full context of the deaths of Youichi and the Second User. There is so much that we don't know about what went down with that whole event, and I'd like to be given something on that before the series ends. In fact, these events could be framed around the deaths of the various "One For All" users, with certain events happening around the time of their deaths.

Last night, I had a dream that I went to a clinic to discuss changing (increasing) the dose on my anxiety meds, which is a thing I’ve been thinking about doing in real life, due to my increased baseline levels of anxiety in the last six weeks, which may or may not be related to the fact that I haven’t had alcohol for six weeks and that’s longer than I’ve gone without it in over a decade. So you can see why this got into my dream.
When I got to the clinic, John Robins was the doctor I saw. But it wasn’t some surreal situation of “what if you went to a clinic but instead of a doctor, it was John Robins?” My dream played the whole thing very straight. I was briefly surprised to see John Robins, until I remembered that I did know he has his medical doctor license and sometimes practices in Canada, and I guess that’s a cool coincidence that I happened to get him. When I saw him, I got really excited about seeing a comedian I liked, and then I immediately got apologetic and tried to backtrack and clarify that this is a coincidence, I’m a fan of his but it’s not like I came here because I’m a fan of his, I’m not trying to use a medical facility for the inappropriate purpose of meeting a comedian, I genuinely have a medical issue and I’m sorry if my initial excitement made it seem like I might have just wanted to meet John Robins. Which is, I think, exactly what I’d do if this somehow happened in real life. Like I said, the whole scenario was played straight.
(Note for those who don’t know: Benzodiazepines are not the anxiety medication I take every day, I have only taken them I think three times in my life, the most recent time was about two weeks ago, and every time I’ve taken them, it’s been because I was in a hospital emergency room during a severe panic attack/mental health crisis and the doctor there gave it to me directly. Which I think is a reasonable use of benzodiazepines, in an emergency situation to calm someone down. Those things do calm people down, but they do it by producing an effect that’s like a recreational high, which is why those drugs are often used recreationally. And like some other recreational drugs, it can be very easy to become severely addicted to them, which causes terrifying withdrawal symptoms among other things, and there’s a huge problem with people getting addicted after using them recreationally, but even some who get addicted after only taking them exactly as prescribed by a doctor. I have been prescribed them several times in my life, most recently when I was in the hospital two weeks ago, and never with sufficient warning about the potential for addiction, so I have never filled the prescription because it seems too risky. That is a very different thing from the anxiety pills I take daily that are safe medication.)
The scene continued to be played straight – no vague dream nonsense, I remember every detail and this all made perfect sense within the context – when I told John Robins that I think I need to up my dose for anxiety medication, and his response was to pour some Coke into a cup, drop two benzodiazepine pills into the cup, add a bunch of rum, drink about 3/4 of the mixture himself, and then hand it to me. He told me that this is the anxiety medication he takes and it works great, he recommends I try the same thing. So I did, and then things did start to go fuzzy.
If my life were a movie, someone would write in a dream sequence where that happened, and a viewer would justifiably say, "Oh come on, that's a little on the nose, no one really has dreams that are that specifically thematic to what they've been thinking of in real life."
So, in case anyone’s wondering where I’m at in my emotional journey that goes along with abstaining from alcohol after six weeks, it's there. It's at the point where you start having dreams like that.

One of my favorite anxiety tips i read, was this: if you tend to fear the worst outcome will happen or be very stressed about something (like say going to the grocery store, a party, going to the doctor visit, riding the bus, whatever)
Before you go, take a moment to think out a few things. 1. Think the worst case, that you're possibly fearing, and what you might do if it happened or what consequences it might have. Say you're worried about going to the grocery store. For me, I may be worried worst case they won't have what I need, I'll forget what I need, the cashier tries to talk to me and i royally fuck up what I say, they call me a bitch, maybe I run into an ex at the store who tries to follow me. For me maybe I'd plan to just leave asap if any of those things happen: just go straight home, never go to that specific grocery store again, do my shopping online next time from a different store. Basically I think of what I'm scared of, and what my plan maybe is if it happens.
2. Think of your best case scenario. Really be indulgent, whatever is your personal best case. For me, if I don't want to see anyone, my best case is the grocery store is quite empty and I don't have to look at anyone, everything I need is there and easy to get to AND the Jean jacket I really want is there for sale for like $6 and in my exact size, and maybe when I check out I get complimented on my hair (or the cashier barely notices me). For you, it might be that you get tons of compliments on your cute clothes, everything is cheaper than usual, you meet the love of your life in the baked goods isle and they get your number and ask you on a date, you run into your best friend there and she talks to the cashier for you (if you don't like talking to the cashier), and you get to pet a puppy outside the store (if you like puppies). You can make the best case scenario as awesome as you want it to be. (And honestly you'd be surprised how potentially awesome the actual outing could be... I did my "best case dream scenario" for a vacation I was worried about once and 90% of my unrealistic best case stuff happened).
3. Now think of a realistic case of what will probably happen. Something in between your worst fear and best hopes. For me, for grocery shopping, the realistic case I'd think about would be: I go, some stuff is for sale and somes expensive but I mostly end up spending what I planned, it's a bit busy but no one talks to me because I don't talk to them, if I see anyone who lives around here i dont want to talk to then i just walk away from the area they're in, I get most of what I went for but maybe forget a couple things or they don't have them, I check out and maybe say "have a nice day" to the cashier and feel stupid but I leave and the cashier forgets what I said because they don't know me and see hundreds of people a day. I leave. It's not a super great time but it's not super awful.
When you actually go, the realistic case you thought of is the closest to how it will probably actually go. The realistic case is usually something that can be gotten through. (And if you thought of worst, best, and realistic cases, and the realistic is still "i get physically hurt badly" or "I have a panic attack and have no safe escape and try to kill myself" then it's probably fair to just Not Do it even if people are pressuring you to).
If something worse happens, you might already have a plan for it (my plan is to leave immediately if something I really dislike happens and pick a different grocery store in town in the future), if something better happens (like if you love puppies and get to pet one) then maybe scary outing had some parts you enjoyed.
This doesn't work for everything. It's helped me with some everyday situations though.
#anxiety#rant#advice#so like. personal examples of when it has worked versus has not:#when i moved out of my parents i had an unhealthy codependent and quite traumatized relationship with them#it was simply NEVER safe to bring up certain topics with my mom. and visiting my mom#always included in the worst case scenario: leave immediately if she screams or hits you. drive a neighborhood away and park#immediately call friends so you dont try to kill yourself in the middle of a panic attack.#and also included: if you cant call a friend when you go? then do NOT go to moms. if you cant safely escape if#a panic attack starts? do NOT go over there.#so like... even with worst best realistic cases? there were times it simply was not safe to visit my mom#because the worst case risk of suicide attempt with no one to reach for support was Not something safe to risk#likewise say your situation is you left TV at physically abusive ex's house and want to pick it up#the reality is. if you have no people to back you up. then worst case the ex may hurt you if you#go over alone to get your TV. in which case you simply Cannot go get your tv. not without friends. the worst case isnt#worth the risk.#now situations where best worst realistic often helps me? doctors#im horribly afraid of them. worst case: they refuse to treat me while im actively dying and i need to go to ER#when that happens i dont usually risk shit with doctors#but if i AM stable enough im not actively dying? then worst case is they hate me and refuse to help me#and then i go find a New Doctor who treats me respectfully and helps me (ultimately a bad outcome that i can endure and fix)#best case: doctor greatly improves my quality of life and helps figure out whats wrong and treat me#normal case: doctor orders some possibly useful test and prescribes a possibly useful med afterward#and if it helps yay. if it doesnt help i call them or have another appointment and they try some#more tests and meds.#best and normal case are good. even worst case i can endure (as long as im not actively dying)#this also works good for: should i go to party. to fair. to store i like. to discord chat. etc#if its something you Really Like then your Best Case Scenario might be so wonderful it will make you want to bear the fear to do it anyway
