Are yall ready for some wordgirl drafts that i didn't wanna post cause they were either too cringy or too uncompleted? :D

1st one) i was super bored and i had nothing to do. Let this be a lesson for those without a thing to do, find a hobby or else you'll end up just like me😔

2nd) unfinished, considering the ugly rough sketches. this one needs alot of explaining but...nah. only thing you need to know is what it was inspired by

3rd) i remember someone mentioning that the wordgirl fandom went through a "lactose intolerant doctor twobrains" phase. So i wanted to make this. And i was gonna make it better but i lost motivation halfway through-

4th) alot of people consider becky a lexiconian princess due to her overpowered abilities. So i actually designed her lexiconian dress. I didn't draw her body btw, i just took a picture from the heatwave episode as a base to draw my design on her (lazyass😶). I didn't post it on it's own because it just didn't look interesting enough, and consequently not deserving enough for it's own post.

5th) this one of my concept design for becky in wonderland AU. Based off of the becky in blunderland fanfic. I wasn't in the mood to draw her in the original show's artstyle so i just used one of my own styles. also i swear i USED the skintone that the show provided DIRECTLY with the eyedropper tool. On god She doesn't have liver failure 😭

6th) also a concept design of how i think grown up wordgirl would look like. Simple, yet mature and authoritative. I didn't intend for this to look good, i just wanted to draw my design.

Becky woke up the next morning leaning against the window with her cape wrapped around her like a blanket. She noticed that while she still felt like she was drowning in oil, it wasn’t as bad as yesterday.

She looked behind her at the doctor, who had seemingly taken her spot on the couch, still fast asleep and snoring in an incredibly undignified manner. She wondered for a second if he was doing it to annoy her, but she quickly put out that thought.

He was her best bet at getting back home and getting back her powers, she had to play nice. Besides he was probably really stressed out too, if that mouse brain was even capable of any emotion besides hunger. 

Home, back to her family, back to her sidekick. She’d been worried sick about him ever since she woke up. When they were knocked out midair Huggy had been thrown in the opposite direction that she had, there was no telling what happened to him. 

She comforted herself by imagining that he got all their family and friends and hid away, perhaps a secret bunker or something. She giggled to herself as the image of her family blissfully misunderstanding a frantic Bob trying to tell them to run with some sort of monkey charades.

Her fantasy was short lived however, because when she looked back out the big window she saw two familiar shapes, creeping hauntingly behind one of the dead trees that littered the warehouse’s lawn. Joy overtook her, her friends had come to save her! Now they could- oh, oh no. She recognized those swirling red eyes. 

Mind control.

It wasn't because Mr. Big, his whole schtick generally had a green hue. This was something brand new.

That new alien super villain got to them. 

Letting her instincts take over, Becky dove down out of sight from the window. She whisper-yelled at Twobrains to wake up.

“Hey!”

“...”

“HEY”

“Agh! What- what is your problem! Will you stop waking me u-”

She pointed aggressively outside

He followed her finger and froze. She grabbed him by the collar and with some effort managed to pull him to the ground below the window sill with her. She had to take a moment to catch her breath, frustration overtook her as she realized that an action as simple as that was now enough to wind her a bit.

Twobrains’ eyes flickered with anxiety as she tried to even out her breathing, but he shook his head and looked out the window.

“They’re looking for me. They have to be.”

“Oh come on, give me a little credit. I’m sure Amazo is just dying to catch up with me”

“What could he possibly- wait. Amazo Guy? Like- Like in your book?”

“Yeah. Did you seriously not recognize him?”

“No! I mean- he looked familiar, but I thought he- the book guy- was fictional!”

“You think I just made up some dude to feature on the cover of my book? What kind of scientist do you take me for!” “So wait. This was an actual dude that you knew. And now you’re both evil?” 

“Well we don’t know if he’s evil evil-”

“I cannot believe you never mentioned him before!”

“I had! In my book! Which apparently you hadn’t read as thoroughly as you said you had!”

“Yes I did!”

 “Appaaarently not. I’m hurt, Wordgirl, I am.”

“I did so! I read your book so much, I can recite any passage from it, just try me.”

“You expect me to believe you’re that much of a fan?”

“Yes! I am a huge fan! The biggest fan in the world actually!”

Becky crossed her arms with a smug expression before her eyes shot open and she realized what she said. Twobrains was holding back a laugh behind his hand. “Yeah? Yeah really? Yeah tell me how much you love me. I’m your favorite author right?”

Becky’s face went red as she proceeded to sock him in the arm. He flinched in pain despite the lack of super strength.

“Shut up. So you got one hit, big whoop.”

Twobrains patted her shoulder with another laugh. Both of their faces fell and they instantly crowded back against the wall as they heard a twig snap outside.

“Now how are we gonna get out of this?” 

They sat there for a moment before Becky got a sheepish look on her face.

“Well… we could always try plan 208…”

Twobrains groaned. “Is that really the best we got?”

Becky sighed “I think it is doc. Now let's not dilly-dally, we have to get out of here as soon as possible.”

“You did not just say ‘dilly-dally’”

“Would you just get on with it!”

Oh it's no problem!

Most of the fanfics i list here are unfortunately discontinued/unfinished but they're WAYY too good to not read. Srry if i sent it too late, my internet disconnected :(

First up we have night N. Gail's stories

These have absolutely ICONIC stories, with just the right amount of angst to keep you fed! And none of the character's are ooc. Plus, it's become a tradition for literally every wg fan to at least know about "saving tobey" lol

Second, there's the prophecy of the star trilogy.

It has everything you could want, action, angst, romance, lore....EVERYTHING! there are alot of cool oc's in this one too!

Then there's saving steven boxleitner

With LOTS of angst, he's literally battling with himself lmao.

Fading facade

This is literally the best fanfic i've read IMO, the concept of the wordgirl universe in it is so cool and interesting! With just enough humour to keep you from crying your eyes out.

The doctor is in

This is one of my personal favourites! Horror, found family, angst, what more can one want in this PERFECT fanfic? I'm not gonna speak anymore so as to not spoil anything because of how good this one is.

Awake in the night

This has a similar concept to saving steven. Infact, most of the wordgirl fanfics made by laura latts are awesome!....except for the bloodplay one, that one was icky, i don't recomment that one.

Something hidden

This one is kinda like saving tobey, but tobey's developement is way different! It's one of the first fanfics i've read and it's the reason why i'm hooked on wordgirl and it's fandom! It's creator also created "have you seen my robut?" As a oneshot where tobey and wg's morale are reversed, i also recommend that one, it's a super interesting take on what their roles are characters would have been if they were reversed!

Every fanfic by 3LNR

They are basically oneshots of how dr twobrains came to be as a villain, they're interesting and angsty!

Becky in blunderland

An alice in wonderland wordgirl AU, not much angst but she does have an identity crisis in the middle of it lmao. But i really liked this one due to how creative the concept of this AU was!

Megamafan16's fanfics

This person makes the BEST episode-like wordgirl fanfics for anyone who wants more wordgirl episodes. And they're actually properly written! It genuinely feels like an episode when you read 'em!

The definition of love and life

Thiis one has LOTS of angst. I think the concept of the fanfic is a little extreme but that's literally the heart of it! Usually with these kinds of angsty fanfics you'd expect the characters to be OOC but genuinely? This is the most accurate depiction of what would happen if wg lost her parents that i've ever seen! (Unlike some wattpad fanfics)

Interview with an inventor

Cute oneshot where tobey's being interviewed. But does has some interesting points from his point of view that really makes you think about his character, without even being OOC!

Substitue teacher

This is another episode-like fanfic where dtb becomes a substitue teacher and finds out wordgirl's identity, what could go wrong?

Too much of a good thing

Yet another episode-like fanfic. Can you tell i like these kind of wg fanfics? It's more fluffy than serious, and i think that's what makes it unique. Also the creator of this fic also made a wg x fnaf crossover so there's also that if yall like lol

Father's day parade

Ah yes, the one day tobey can't celebrate, imagine what could happen next. Tbh this one isn't as special as the other's due to the writing but it is fun to read!

Snheetah's fanfics

Now the thing is, this person obviously started making wg fanfics when they were either a kid or an inexperienced author. So you should read only the fanfics made in 2020 (unless you wanna see how much they improved, which was ALOT), those are probably the most interesting! I especially like "game night" which had SO much suspense between tobey and becky's rivalry that i've seen NO other author depict in perfect fashion. The EXACT enemies to lovers that i've wanted for so long.

These are also episode-like fics that i've enjoyed, they've also written some of their own ideas and essays on certain aspects of the show.

The present, the past, and the western: time wraped

Now imma be honest, the story isn't that interesting but the whole developement between tobey and becky was actually interesting to see, Without them being OOC too (I feel like that's the most important thing in literally any fanfic lol)
