For my birthday, I made myself a totally self indulgent edit of Doc! I couldn't decide on a background whether it was in the bedroom on the ship (which I also added a filter to) or a favorite picture taken on the honeymoon, so I am just gonna post all of them because I like them all 😆

Spoilers for the Jedi Knight story.
Filter if you don't want to see this ever again: #knamil stasis comic
This story takes place not long after the main Jedi Knight story ends. This is an AU Comic because nothing that was released after initial story launch (Makeb onward and esp not KOTFE KOTET are considered "true" for this universe.)
Notes and captions below the cut.
I wrote the story for this in 2014 and I'm using it as a basis to follow along with an art class I'm auditing. It's inspired by companion content that was originally cut from the game, but was datamined and posted online. If you've never seen it, there was supposed to be a quest where you can help Lord Scourge get his feelings back.
I don't know how to write captions for a comic so I'm including the script as a caption.
If there is a standard way to caption comics for screen readers, msg me and I will do my best.
Conventions used
IM: stands for Internal Monologue. Scourge’s internal monologue appears in black boxes with red text and red outline.
Speech bubbles are rounded white bubbles with black text and black outline.
Setting descriptions/general captions are blue boxes with black outline and black text.
The script labels each image as a page. Each panel will have a short description of the picture then the dialog within the panel.
Begin script
Page 1 Scourge kneeling in a cell meditating. Red forcefields surround him. Title: Stasis Part I (by knamil)
Page 2 Caption: Coruscant Holding Cells - 86 Days After the Emperor’s Defeat (A.E.D.)
Panel 1 Scourge is kneeling in his cell meditating. The frame shows a partial profile of his face. One of his eyes are open. A figure is shown walking toward him. Behind the figure are closed doors.
SCOURGE IM: The Medic. Interesting.
Panel 2 A head portrait of Doc
Caption: Archiban “Doc” Kimble
DOC Hey Scourge. How’s it going?
Panel 3 Scourge is kneeling in his cell looking at the floor. He says nothing. Doc stands in front of the cell facing Scourge
DOC Just seein’ if you need anything. Maybe you want to chat? Have a little heart to heart. You know?
Panel 4 Scourge looks up.
Panel 5 Doc is looking down at Scourge. The back wall of the holding facility can be seen behind him.
Panel 6 Closer focus on Scourge.
SCOURGE Tell me, Doctor… has the Jedi stopped screaming yet?
Page 3 Panel 1 Doc looks angry
Panel 2 Doc looks sad
Panel 3 Doc looks resigned
DOC I don’t know.
Panel 4 The Jedi is on a surgery table. Machinery and tubes cover her abdomen. A breathing mask covers her mouth. Her eyes are squeezed shut in an expression of pain.
DOC They kicked me out two days ago. Her wounds won’t close. The bleeding won’t stop.
They’re rerouting half her organs with cybernetics just to keep her alive.
Panel 5 Doc leans over to sit on the floor.
DOC I heard they put you in here because you wouldn’t talk when you brought her in.
I don’t understand why you won’t tell us what’s happening to her.
Panel 6 Scourge still kneels in his cell.
SCOURGE Because there is nothing in your limited understanding of the Force and its potential that can help her.
Panel 7 Doc is sitting on the floor on the other side of the force field facing Scourge.
DOC Can you?
SCOURGE No.
Panel 8 Close up view of Scourge. He looks down.
SCOURGE The ritual may not be undone.
IM: It would mean the end of everything.

Character Actress
Diane Brewster (March 11, 1931 – November 12, 1991)  Television actress most noted for playing three distinctively different roles in television series of the 1950s and 1960s: confidence trickster Samantha Crawford in the Western Maverick  with James Garner; pretty young second-grade teacher Miss Canfield in Leave It to Beaver; and doomed wife Helen Kimble in The Fugitive. Brewster was a direct descendant of William Brewster, a Pilgrim and Governor of the Plymouth Colony.
On January 31, 1959, Brewster played Lisa Caldwell in the episode "Runaway Train" of NBC's Cimarron City Western television series starring George Montgomery.
She made almost 50 appearances in various other television and film roles, including episodes of Crusader starring Brian Keith, Wanted: Dead or Alive with Steve McQueen, Tombstone Territory (as "Julie Dixon" in season 1 episode 33), Tales of Wells Fargo (as "Dr Alice" S2/E25) with Dale Robertson, and Harbor Command with Wendell Corey. In 1959, she played the girlfriend of Ronald Reagan's character in an installment of the General Electric Theatre anthology series, "Nobody's Child", and portrayed Marian Dell in the episode "Law of the Badlands" of the syndicated series Frontier Doctor starring Rex Allen.
In 1960, Brewster had a starring role as Wilhelmina "Steamboat Willy" Vanderveer in The Islanders, an hour-long adventure series set in the South Pacific, with William Reynolds and James Philbrook. That same year, she also portrayed the titular role in "The Lita Foladaire Story," an episode of Wagon Train with Ward Bond and silent film star Evelyn Brent, in which Brewster's character had been killed before the start of the show, with her sections of the story posthumously depicted in flashbacks.
Brewster subsequently guest starred on Empire and in The Rifleman episode, "The Jealous Man" in 1962; on The Dakotas with Jack Elam in 1963; on the 1963 Perry Mason episode, "The Case of the Potted Planter" with Raymond Burr, and in the premiere episode of Kentucky Jones (1964) with Dennis Weaver and Harry Morgan.
Brewster appeared several times in flashbacks as the murdered wife Helen Kimble in The Fugitive, most prominently in Episode 14, The Fugitive (season 1), "The Girl from Little Egypt," broadcast December 24, 1963. She appeared in two episodes of Death Valley Days, in a 1966 episode of Family Affair, and in an installment of Ironside (1968) before retiring. She reappeared in four episodes of The New Leave It to Beaver.  (Wikipedia)

Legend of Lightning Chapter 95. After Balmorra
https://archiveofourown.org/works/43208574/chapters/119295733
Tumblr media
“That isn’t for you to ponder either. We are Jedi. We only focus on what we can change.”
Satele noticed the glance he shot her way, but said nothing.
“Focus instead, on getting better. If we can succeed in our goal, it won’t matter that the coward, Malgus, escaped. We have our next objective, and I would like you to go there. Today, if possible.”
“It’s not,” Kimble said shortly. “As his doctor, I recommend at least another week of bed rest.”
“He can get some of it en route. It’s a long way to Hoth.”
“Hoth?” Vajra sat up. “I’ve heard of that world. Wasn’t there a major space battle there? One which claimed our Super Dreadnought, the Star of Coruscant?”
“Yes. And indeed, that is the general area you will visit. It’s the opposite of Tatooine, with temperatures well below freezing point.”
“Can I cut him off? No work while in recovery. Doctor’s orders.”
“For once I agree with the walking hormone,” Kira muttered.
“Vajra… do not lose sight of our goal. We cannot afford failure, and every second counts. Leeha cannot do this without help. Remember your guilt at letting Malgus escape… what happens if we lose our opportunity to end the war?”
“Sure, now you tell him to stew in his guilt,” Kira burst out. “You either follow the rules, even when they don’t suit you, or you don’t at all.”
“This mission is the most important thing he will ever undertake in his life.”
“Which is why he needs to recover first. He is still quite weak!”
“You best be careful, Tol. Tardiness might be costly, but haste even more so.”
“Of course. But Leeha is in a bit of a pinch. If he doesn’t get there within the next few days, she could die. And I can’t send anyone else.”
“I have nothing on my schedule,” Satele rose. “I can go. Kira can come with me. I fought beside her against the Kaygiri, and she’s a strong ally to have at my side.”
“Grand Master?” the younger woman’s surprise was evident, as was her delight.
But Master Braga shook his head. “I’m sorry, Satele. But I can’t allow that. You must return to Tython at once. Lose no more time.”
Satele didn’t like the tone of his voice.
“And we have a mission lined up for Kira too. You are needed on Nar Shaddaa.”
“What!? But—”
“This isn’t a request, Kira. You will depart after lunch.”
Everyone stared at the blank screen for a moment.

Now and forever
Pairing:Richard Kimble x reader
Description:After saving his life and helping him prove his innocence,You and Richard fall in love
Tumblr media
Whenever I'm weary from the battles that rage in my head you make sense of madness when my sanity hangs by a thread
You never thought you would save a person's life let alone a very injured man who you found out later on was on the run sentenced to death for killing his wife when he was actually wrongfully accused and framed.
I lose my way but still you seem to understand now or forever I will be your man sometimes I just hold you too caught up in me to see I'm holding a fortune that heaven has given to me
You learned his name was Richard Kimble and he used to be a doctor until he ended up on the run,you both slowly got to know each other after you let him stay with you letting him sleep in your bed despite his protest but over time you and him realized you had feelings for each other.
I'll try to show each and every way I can now and forever I will be your man now I can rest my worries and always be sure that I won't be alone anymore
You decided to make a move telling him your feelings for him you felt a bit nervous until the next thing you knew the two of you were kissing in your room stopping after you took your shirt seeing tears roll down his face "Hey..we can stop if this isn't what you're wanting" he looks at you holding you to him for a few minutes then telling you that he thought after all that had happened he would never find another person to love again leading to whispered I love you's and kisses where hands weren't exploring.
If I'd only known you were there all the time all this time until the day the ocean doesn't touch the sand now and forever I will be your man now and forever I will be your man
You waited in the car with Erin Poole a US Marshal staying quiet even when Richard and another US marshal Samuel Gerard on either side of you getting the both of you checked out then taking the two of you back to your home thanking sam for finding out and proving his innocence then the two of you go inside after sam and erin left just crying hugging each other then showering and just holding each other until you both fell asleep in each other's arms under blankets.

Leeloa Ke'Ta - Commander of the Alliance
Tumblr media
Title(s): Hero of Tython, Battlemaster, The Outlander, Commander Birth Year: 13 BTC / 3666 BBY Birth Planet: Dantooine Species: Human Gender: Cis woman Sexuality: Demi-heteroromantic demisexual Alignment: Light Side Allegiances: The Alliance, The Republic
Appearance Basics
How much does she match her in game appearance: Pretty spot on Height: 5'5" | 1.65 m Build: Athletic, some curve with muscle underneath Hair: just below shoulder, brunette, wavy texture Eyes: bright Green Skin: Light peach color Scars: A scar on her chin Any piercings? Tattoos?: None
Brief Backstory:
Leeloa was born on Dantooine to a refugee woman named Meeria. Meeria married a Republic Refugee Resettlement Officer named Raqiel Ke'Ta and Leeloa spent the first six years of her life with her mother and step-father. On a mission to the Jedi ruins, Jedi Knight Hak Toth met her as she explored the ruins and, after some discussion with her mother, took her to be trained as a Jedi.
Leeloa was placed in a group with Praz Toth, Meella Q'Arno, and Kero Synagh. When she was nine, Kadryn Dubslayn was added to the group as well. They grew up together as close friends, but in her teen years, she and Kero grew closer. They began a relationship, but before their trials, agreed to break it off to focus on their Jedi studies.
Tragedy struck, though, when Master Hak Toth, Kero's master and a father figure to the group, was murdered by an overzealous Sith apprentice. Despite this pain, the group persevered and finished their training.
Connections:
Companions and NPCs
Archiban Froderick Kimble "Doc" (husband) - An unlikely duo, a flirtatious dreaming-of-heroism doctor and a respected Jedi, the pair are able to balance each other and bring out the parts of each other that they need
T7-O1 (friend) - Meeting on Tython, the pair were inseparable until Leeloa was frozen in carbonite. They were shortly reunited.
Kira Carsen (friend) - Leeloa finished Kira's training to be a knight and, despite some disagreements, Leeloa views her as a younger sister and still will mentor her if she needs it.
Fideltin Rusk (ally) - Meeting Rusk on Hoth, he joined her crew. The pair have a good relationship, albeit Leeloa does find his lack of concern for people and only looking at numbers a problem.
Lord Scourge (ally) - Leeloa was at first wary of the Sith and for good reason. Viewing him to be possibly the best source to stop the Emperor, she decided to work with him. While often disagreeing, the pair do find common ground and form a sort of friendship
Theron Shan (friend) - Theron asked for Leeloa's help on a mission and the pair found themselves comfortable around each other, easing into a close friendship. When Theron "betrayed" her, Leeloa refused to believe it, feeling as if he had something else up his sleeve. Which was true and Theron stayed with the Alliance.
Lana Beniko (friend) - Realizing their situation, Leeloa welcomed Lana's assistance and even enjoyed some conversation with her and her insight. While not as ruthless as Lana, Leeloa does appreciate her pragmatic side and the pair are an interesting balance of optimism and pragmatism.
Koth Vortena (friend) - Leeloa admires Koth's care for people and his sense of duty, and she found it interesting to see someone else's perspective on a villain and it helped her understand just how much Tenebrae could change how he appeared to others to have control. If she ever needs someone to relax with, she goes and hangs out in the cantina with Koth.
Senya Tirall (friend) - Senya vaguely reminds Leeloa of her mother; capable of being severe but with a softer side. Leeloa and Senya respect each other and support each other, and Leeloa will go to her for personal advice.
Arcann (ally) - Leeloa spared Arcann and helped him, bringing him back to the Light Side. This has caused him to have some dependency issues with her and Leeloa and others have been helping him gain a stronger sense of self and self respect.
Feel free to send asks about any others
My OCs
Orren Raqiel Kimble (son) - born during the events of Battle of Ilum, Leeloa missed her son dearly while she was trying to locate her companions after being unfrozen.
Meeria Ke'Ta (mother) - Before Leeloa went to the Jedi, her mother doted on her and was fiercely protective of her (info)
Raqiel Ke'Ta (adopted father) - Raqiel raised Leeloa as his own until she was adopted by the Jedi and still loves her as his daughter. (info)
Dolen Tevas (father) - a sith lord Leeloa has no relationship with, who went missing a few years after her mother went to the Republic (info)
Basimah Ke'Ta (half-sister) - Leeloa's younger after sister, she was two when Leeloa went with the Jedi and tries to keep up with her adventures as best she can. (info)
Fadyl Urdasher (adopted cousin) -Raqiel's nephew, when his family would visit Raqiel, Fadyl would play with Leeloa and now they occasionally work together in their fields; Jedi turned Commander and trooper turned Senator
Akos Zydrunas (adopted cousin-in-law) - An SIS agent Leeloa has briefly worked with, he ended up marrying Fadyl and he and Leeloa have a respectable relationship.
Kero Synagh (ex-boyfriend, friend) - Kero and Leeloa grew up together and entered a romantic relationship in their teenage years. They agreed to end it to focus on their training and remained friends.
Praz Toth (childhood friend) - Praz's father brought Leeloa to the Jedi and she grew up in the same clan as Praz. The pair have a strong supportive sibling bond and trust.
Meella Q'Arno (childhood friend) - The friend who always knows what to say and says it bluntly. Meella grew up in the same clan and always calls it how she sees it with Leeloa, even if Leeloa won't admit it.
Kadryn Dubslayn (childhood friend) - a latecomer to the youngling clan, Kadryn grew up with the others after brought to the Jedi. Kadryn's trauma with the Empire and Leeloa knowing her mother's own enabled them to bond and help heal each other.

Self-Plugging
My parents are getting older, so I downloaded a self-help book so I can help them and know what to expect. Unfortunately, the book was a dud. Instead of focusing on practical advice like low-impact exercise, a good diet, and working with doctors, the author presented a holistic approach. Before you get upset, this would have been fine if the book description or title had prepared the reader. “A holistic approach to old age.” However, neither was present, and the light content provided little helpful information.
Forgiving an author for lackluster content is possible, but there was a more significant problem. The author spent two (out of eight) entire chapters on a book that was far too short, instructing (not asking) the reader to write a positive review. The first chapter described how vital reviews were to the author, gave tips on the review content, and discussed how to post the review. The second chapter repeated how critical reviews were to the authors’ success. I have never encountered such an arrogant request and found it to be outrageous and unprofessional. I hope this new form of promotion is not a new trend.
I am a humble author who appreciates when a reader views my words; this is my positive review. You read my work? Thank you! The icing on the cake occurs when somebody takes the time to thank me. Wow, it feels great to be appreciated.
Now, hold on. I self-plug my published books in my articles and use my plots as examples. Why? I want to be successful, and advertising is a significant part of sales. Yet, I would never demand something from my readers and do not have gushing self-plugs. I would rather be a failure than stoop to that level.
Yet, my self-plugging seems hypocritical. I can complain about an author who went too far, but not myself. I suppose I must fall back on the title of a Cranberries song, “Everybody else is doing it, so why can’t we?” The difference is that I go far to ensure my humble plugs are tasteful and not in your face.
There was something else amusing about this book. None of the reviews mentioned the review demand. I would have expected at least some anger; after all, it upset me. This lack of reaction made me wonder why I get so upset.
Every day, commercials bombard us. Billboards, magazines, bumper stickers, radio commercials, banners, pop-ups, subliminal messages, and hidden text. Nearly every online video ends with “If you liked this content, please like and subscribe.” Likes have become the content currency.
Readers and viewers have become accustomed to in-your-face advertisements and demands for many things. It is so much noise and wasted effort. We live in a modern world, and advertising will only get worse. I predict that artificial intelligence will soon bombard us with hyper-specific advertisements.
Yet, a book is a flat, dull thing. They do not have exciting YouTube personalities with excellent graphics or pop-up windows with a great deal on socks. And that is the big reason we read them. “Today, I got under a warm blanket and read a lovely book.” What did it do? The book entertained and informed me. Great job, you wonderful author. But two self-plugging chapters? They crossed a thick line.
    You’re the best -Bill

Review: The Fugitive (AD: 1993)
Written by Neil Leslie Gilbert © NEIL LESLIE GILBERT WILLIAMS JACKSNEPHEW HOUSEHOLD
Opening scenes about Doctor Kimble character being incriminated. Thoughts about doctor Kimble having blood in his vest/ t-shirt as he tried to save his wife.
Having been incriminated about charges for offense I didn't commit, I've often doubted accuracy of law. However, if legal scriptures are followed, would think convincing innocent processed suspects would be impossible (i.e. innocent until proven guilty).
Not my first viewing. However recall original interest of viewing details about case.
Would think about law in America being thorough and accurate. If I got sentenced to death by punishment of death penalty having lost my wife and knowing I wasn't culprit, I'd probably be mentally withdrawn and would probably wish myself dead.
Would think surrender by waiting for police to arrive at scene of crash would be the right action. However, doctor Kimble character decided to flee. I wondered why a doctor would be dishonest, however doctor Kimble character was falsely convicted (according to doctor Kimble's statement)
Completely unable to determine or predict outcome, I choose to view The Fugitive (AD: 1993) Movie to input my opinions etc. However, why didn't he appeal his sentence?
Doctor Kimble character visited hospital. Shaves his beard, stole food and clothes.
Would think doctor Kimble character as inexperienced criminal, as doctor Kimble stole an ambulance for his get away vehicle.
Would think doctor Kimble character as beyond concerned for his welfare. Wondered if the authorities would execute him.
Surprised by outcome in water duct as doctor Kimble character was profiled by authorities as dangerous as he held firearm before fleeing apprehension.
According to screenplay, doctor Kimble character persued defense. Would think doctor Kimble characters mental health deteriorated as fraud, theft, dishonesty as doctor Kimble character commited other offenses.
Uncomfortable viewing, however sympathetically hoped for outcome to be sensible.
In suspense as each side (fugitive and authorities) had legitimate coherent arguments.
Comforted by scenes of authorities appearing to investigate omitted from case statement about doctor Kimble character fighting male with prosthetic limb.
Wondered why the authorities lead wasn't officially shared and processed then circulated by authorities.
Judgemental about remaining scenes. Perhaps without Marshall and legal standing. Having been juror, I would try to concentrate on verified evidence.
Disappointed about viewing legal standing characters breach law. Would think the breaches would be omitted in statements at trial.
Was challenged by The Fugitive (AD: 1993) movie, as it's realistic however as fiction, one can only comment.
I enjoyed screenplay, props, costumes, makeup. Though dialogue wasn't perfect, I admired dialogue as procedures in employment can sometimes be awkwardly conducted. Slight stage whispering.
