Akane smiles calmly at Seinosuke. It didn’t surprise her how almost formally he was holding himself to her now.

“You can relax,Mister Yamada,I don’t want you to feel like you have to be too formal with me.”

She says softly.

Sick Day

(( @bleachintothemultiverse I wanted to write this for you! I focused on Akane and left the end ambiguous so you can fill in your own details.))

She could feel it creeping upon her. She’d grown used to the signs of illness; the sluggishness,the rise in temperature, and more were all too familiar to her. But of all the times for it to really start bothering her, it just had to be when she was trying to sleep with Seinosuke. She knew he’d be able to figure out what was wrong with her in a heartbeat once he’s awake. That’s just one of the benefits of dating a doctor honestly. But the only problem was that tomorrow was a work day for the both of them. She wouldn’t mind taking the day off for herself, but she’d hate to make her love do the same to care for her.

As not nice being sick is,she did like when Seinosuke cared for her when she fell ill. Since the last few times were during their time off,he was able to take care of her. Truthfully,even just viewing how he handled her as a doctor then,it was some of the best care she’d ever had when sick. The fact they were dating was just and added bonus. Though it also made her worry a little. She knew very well that they both were very job oriented people,so she didn’t want him to feel like he has to help her get better on a work because of their romantic status. On the other hand,she didn’t want him to feel like he couldn’t help her because if was a work day.

Akane silently sighs and brushes off the thoughts. That wasn’t her decision to make,it was Seinosuke’s. No matter the outcome,she would be happy. She relaxes again and closes her eyes,trying to sleep again. Despite feeling rather heated from her fever,she still manages to ease back into rest. She knew that this time Seinosuke would be the first of the two of them to wake up in the morning, but she didn’t mind. She knew rest was important to get better after all.

Akane nods and warmly smiles back. Truthfully she wasn’t eager about the busy day on Sunday. She could deal with only so many nobles complaining about not having a date or not getting a gift that day for so long before it grew a tad irksome for her. However,having something to look forward to,would make the day much easier for her.

“That sounds perfect,may I ask what type of tea you prefer? I just want to make sure I have some ready to be made when the day comes.”

She calmly asks.

Akane gives a soft look of concern. That doesn’t sound healthy for Seinosuke at all. Not o lot from a physical health view but also mental health. She should probably help... She gives a low hum to herself before smiling at him.

“How about I go take you out for something to eat then,Mister Yamada? You can choose whatever restaurant or type of food you’d like.”

“Honestly it was more like he found me. We were near my office when we met. It’s not uncommon for children to wander there though and he’d seemed to have heard of me,so I held a conversation with him.”

Akane explains honestly. Seinosuke’s question makes her wonder for a second, but she brushes it off. Unless this gets her involved in something then it’s none of her business. Though Hikone seems like a normal kid for the most part. Sure she doesn’t know that much about them, but they don’t seem that different.

“Hello Mister Yamada,don’t worry there’s no problem here. I hope we haven’t come at an inconvenient time. Hikone here found their way to me and after we talked a bit,we decided to visit you.”

Akane says calmly,giving a brief explanation on why they’re here. She really does hope they didn’t catch Seinosuke at a bad time. She knows how much she dislikes being interrupted when doing something. Not to mention it’d reflect badly on her as a person if she had.

Hikone smiled a little, watching Seinosuke and Akane. “mhm!” they replied agreeing with Akane.

“I see.” Seinosuke nodded. “and no you both didn’t come at the wrong time. “ He reassured calmly before looking at Hikone. “Hikone, why dont you go talk to one of the nurses at the front desk and ask if they have any of your favorite sweets left.” He offered. Watching Hikone decide for a moment before they agreed and bolted off to go ask one of the nurses. 

Seinosuke turned his attention back to Akane.” where did you find Hikone…?” he asked after he was sure that Hikone was out of ear shot.

Nonromantic/Friendship

I feel like as these two get closer and become friends,they visit the world of the living together on their off days.

Akane probably befriends his nurses,more so to make sure she hears news about him quickly and because she’s curious to hear their gossip

She loves trading stories about her sisters with him,as she feels he can relate to them more than most others she talks to.

When the two get close enough and she feels like he won’t judge her for her father’s actions,she probably tells him how corrupt of a noble her father was. It’s a show of trust from her.

Romantic

When neither had confessed or when Akane was just realizing she might love him,her little sisters absolutely tried to play matchmaker. More than likely never worked

Also during this time,Yuri would try to hint at his user’s feelings by making Seinosuke a lot of gifts.

When the two are eventually stable and dating,she tries to bond with Hanataro. She feels it’s only right to be close to her s/o’s family.

Speaking of family,Akane’s sisters will be elated the second they learn the two are together. They might bombard Seinosuke with questions until Akane shoos them off or has them settle down.

If he doesn’t know already,Akane will offer to get Seinosuke dance lessons if he ever wants to dance with her sometime. Dancing/waltzing one of her slightly more physical displays of affection besides her occasional chaste kiss.

"oh, what can i do for you, Mochizuki?" Seinosuke asked sounding as dead pan and as stoic as ever as he glanced at Akane. “Hello Mister Yamada,I hope I’m not intruding or interrupting on anything. I’m here to ask you two quick things though.”

She says politely to him,crossing her arms in a casual manner.

“....... can I set up a therapy appointment?” Seinosuke asked sounding a bit hesitant . He was willing to at least try . But he still was unsure about it all- but he was willing to try it once and see how it went .

Akane smiles,glad he finally approached her. She couldn’t lie,since she met him she’d been wanting to help him.

“Of course,I will let you know that all first appointments with me are free. When would you like your appointment to be?”

She says professionally to Seinosuke,giving him a warm smile to try easing him a little.

“It is? I thought it felt warm... Well I should be okay,right? I assume recovery won’t be too long.”

Akane hums,only slightly concerned about her current condition.

“Well truthfully it goes however you want it to. While I prefer it when patients tell me about themselves or their life,it’s also not uncommon for patients to come in and talk to me about their favorite book or even just come here to sleep. So just relax,talk about whatever you feel comfortable talking about,”

Akane coos sweetly,smiling at Seinosuke and trying to help him relax. She was used to patients being tense during their first sessions,so she wasn’t too surprised that Seinosuke was as well,

“This is a safe place,nothing you tell me here in this room will leave this room, I promise.”

She calls out calmly. She sets down the tea she’d gotten for herself to the side and straightens out her posture a bit to look more professional.

Seinosuke walked in and gently shut the door behind him. 

“..so how does this session work exactly…..?” Seinosuke asked as he went to sit down on the couch. Though it was obvious by his stiff posture he was nervous and unsure about everything.

Honestly my favorite details is my tags for characters.

Akane and Yuri have the same tag descriptors as they tend to view people the same way.

Ex: Doctor Deserving of Wisteria: Seinosuke Yamada

But with other characters like my oc Jona,who I’m debating moving her as well,she views characters a little differently.

Ex: The Good Doctor: (Jona ID) Seinosuke Yamada

The difference is that Akane is very metaphorical with her phrasing. She uses Wisteria here as a reference to nobility. She’s referring to Seinosuke as a man and doctor so noble in his attributes (from her perspective) that he deserves to be as noble as his patients. Meanwhile,Jona with her limited knowledge about the man besides things she’s heard from others,sees him as this ideal doctor that the cliche phrase “the good doctor” generally means.

Akane crosses her arms.

“Hello Yamada-fukutaichou.I’m Squad 13’s fifth seat Akane Mochizuki. And yes it’s true,I’ve been sick for about three days,it’s honestly not that bad.”

As much as she wanted to sass,she held back. Though it was obvious with how she was looking at him that she wasn’t happy to be having this conversation. Part of her wonders why they’d send the lieutenant to take care of her then it clicks. It’s probably because she’s from a high noble family. Her weak immune system was probably already known because of her family,so it’d only make sense to want to make sure she got good care. Or at least that’s the theory she’s going with as it makes the most sense to her. But hell for all she knows she’s way off.

Akane stays quiet for a few moments,hoping he’ll just leave if she doesn’t respond. Then she sighs as she realizes it’s pointless. She sits up and looks at her door,making sure she’s not pouting before calling out.

“You can come in.”

God her voice sounds awful. She didn’t care though,simply clearing her throat quietly to try to ignore the ache from it. The sooner she shows she’s fine,the soon whoever this Squad 4 member is will leave.

Seinosuke walked in. “Hello, Im Seinosuke Yamada- fukutaichou of the Fourth divison.” He introduced himself as he placed the medical bag down when he made his way over to her. “So i been told, you been possibily ill for a few days. I assume that is true?” Seinosuke asked her, curious on what her answer would be.

“Of course take your time with that question and that time works perfectly,thank you so much Mister Yamada.”

Akane says warmly,grateful that Seinosuke is free so soon.

Akane says calmly,explaining her reasons for the questions for clarification.

Seinosuke thought over Akane first question. “….I will get back to you on the first one.” He admitted. Truthfully he didn’t know if he should or not. “and for your second question…” he started and looked through his schedule list. “I have a opening tomorrow Before Lunch. Will that work?” He asked.

“You just seem troubled if I’m honest,but I understand. I won’t make you accept any form of affection you don’t want.”

Akane says calmly,crossing her arms and smiling at Seinosuke gently.

“I mean…. im not the hugging type of person.” Seinosuke admitted. He hated touching, even know did he kind of crave affection. It was more of a unsure feeling. “besides…why do you think i need a hug?’ he asked.

“Oh that’s right I didn’t mention earlier when talking about therapy,”

Akane chuckles lightly then smiles at Hikone warmly,

“I’m a hypnotherapist,I use hypnosis to help people mentally. So I know a few varied ways to use hypnosis for others. For instance,with Mister Yamada,I helped him with a problem that was preventing him from sleeping easily.”

She explains,doing her best not to go into detail about what she helped Seinosuke with. After all, that’s something for him to tell others if he’s comfortable with it.

Hikone smiled a little. “A hyponosis…? thats interesting.” they replied, listening to her explaination about what it was.  “Thats good you helped Seinosuke, he is a good person.” They added as they walked into the clinic and headed towards Seinosuke office. “Yamada-san~!” They called.

Seinosuke glance up sensing Hikone reiatsu and went to walk out of his office to see what was going on, upon hearing Hikone call for him. Noticing Hikone with akane. “Ah, is there a problem…?” He asked, looking at them.
