What is blood donation ?

A blood donation occurs when a person voluntarily has blood drawn and used for transfusions and/or made into biopharmaceutical medications by a process called fractionation (separation of whole-blood components). Donation may be of whole blood (WB), or of specific components directly (the latter called apheresis). Blood banks often participate in the collection process as well as the procedures that follow it.

"CAP" the Contemporary Art Platform in Kuwait is non profit organization that is very interested in the support of the youth and children in Kuwait and in the region. By having workshops consistently in the studio space where the youth is invited to come and learn from visiting artists and local artists as well. Furthermore, I feel very connected to this topic and theme because I have always been interested in all kinds of art As I am minoring in graphic design as well. Moreover, I have been drawing since I was a kid and even though I stopped drawing for a while now, I still love going to art galleries, art events and workshops from time to time.

Each one of us must be connected to humanity. If humanity was lost, then that will lead us to live in a very chaotic world. Humanity is the only thing that unites the universe. No matter what your race, religion, gender and nationality you are a human just like any other one.

I am connected to this topic, because children in general is a weak spot for me I love them so much, they are such pure souls that deserve nothing but happiness. So it disturbs me to know the amount of children all around this world who need help and many neglect this need of theirs. all they need is some love and hope, give them your attention and you’ll find them smiling all day.

In this video the artist is showing how to draw this beautiful flower and this is related to my theme because it teaches and shows how to do something just like the Contemporary Art Platform of Kuwait does during the workshops that they host where children and youth are invited to learn from local and visiting artists.

I am connected to this topic because I have always felt that our society we don't have enough care for disabled or handicapped people. They have to be treated equally as any other person, this topic is very sensitive yet I think even though our societies tend to give them some benefits but they are very slow by doing it. I chose this topic so we can help these people more in any way like for examples offering them jobs to live with without needing anyone else's favor.

I’m connected to this topic because i believe that the growth of the youth effects the society and the way the grow will let them know what they want to be in the future. If they grow in a way that is correct and by joining college and becoming something important in society then along the way they will help others who are in need and they will have jobs that are beneficial for them.

It’s motivating people to go and donate for blood they are showing how important when you donate, how many lives you can save.

In this video they show how even a small kid who is not sick got affected by an volunteering ad and insisted that he and his mother fly all the way to africa and just give the children food, lot of it, just to keep them healthy and to make them happy. 

Such a touching video that shows how 1 person can change the mood of 1000 kids and make them smile in an instant.

This video should not be something strange for many of us, humanity means mercy even with animals. This video shows how humans try to help animals in order to survive, even if they are in need of help.
