What You Should Know Before Buying A Used Ram 1500 In Chesterfield
Introduction
Are you in the market for a used Ram 1500? Whether itâs to replace your current truck or to upgrade from an older model, thereâs no doubt that the Ram 1500 is one of the most popular and reliable trucks on the market. However, before you make any decisions, itâs important to know what you should consider when buying a used Ram 1500 in Chesterfield. In this blog article, we will cover all the essential facts about buying a used Ram 1500 in Chesterfield so that you can make an informed decision.
The Different Types of Used Ram 1500
There are three different types of used Ram 1500 trucks: the Regular Cab, the Quad Cab, and the Crew Cab. The Regular Cab is the most common and is typically the cheapest option. The Quad Cab is slightly larger and has more room for passengers and cargo. The Crew Cab is the largest option and has the most interior space. All three types of trucks come with either two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.
What to Look for When Buying a Used Ram 1500
There are a few things you should keep in mind when shopping for a used Ram 1500 in Chesterfield. First, you'll want to make sure the truck has been well-maintained and is in good condition. You'll also want to check the CARFAX report to see if there have been any previous accidents or other issues. Finally, be sure to test drive the truck to ensure it runs smoothly and safely.
The Pros and Cons of Buying a Used Ram 1500
When it comes to purchasing a used Ram 1500 in Chesterfield, there are both pros and cons that need to be considered. While a used Ram may be more affordable than a brand new model, there are some things that need to be taken into account before making the purchase. One of the first things to consider is the mileage on the truck. A used Ram 1500 with high mileage may not have as many years left on it as one with lower mileage. It's important to factor in how long you plan on keeping the truck when considering its overall value. Another thing to think about is the condition of the truck. A well-maintained used Ram 1500 will likely last longer and hold its value better than one that hasn't been taken care of as well. Be sure to inspect the truck thoroughly before making a purchase to ensure that it's in good condition. Lastly, consider your budget when deciding whether or not to buy a used Ram 1500. While they may be cheaper upfront, used trucks can sometimes require more maintenance and repairs down the road. Make sure you factor in all costs associated with owning a used truck before making your final decision.
How to Get the Best Deal on a Used Ram 1500
There are a few things to keep in mind when shopping for a used Ram 1500 in Chesterfield. First, it's important to know what you're looking for. Second, it's important to do your research. Third, it's important to be prepared to negotiate. 1. Know what you're looking for: Before you start shopping for a used Ram 1500, it's important to know what you're looking for. What are your must-have features? What can you live without? What's your budget? Once you have a good idea of what you want, you can start shopping around. 2. Do your research: It's important to do your research before buying a used car. You should read reviews, compare prices, and test drive the car before making a decision. This will help you avoid buyer's remorse and make sure you're getting the best deal possible. 3. Be prepared to negotiate: When you find the perfect used Ram 1500, be prepared to negotiate. There's no shame in trying to get the best deal possible. The worst that can happen is the seller says no â but they might just say yes if you make a reasonable offer.
Conclusion
The Ram 1500 is a great investment for those who are looking for a reliable vehicle that will last them many years. Before you buy a used Ram 1500 in Chesterfield, itâs important to do your research and become familiar with all the features and options available. This way, you can make an informed decision when selecting the right model for your needs. Don't forget to get the vehicle inspected by a certified mechanic before making any purchase so you can be sure of what you're buying. With these tips, finding the perfect used Ram 1500 in Chesterfield should be easy!

Top Reasons to Buy Used Cars for Sale in St. Augustine
Cars have become an important part of our daily lives, and buying a reliable vehicle is a significant investment. If you're in the market for a new set of wheels, you might want to consider exploring used cars for sale in St. Augustine. The popularity of used cars in this region is undeniable, and for good reason. Not only do they offer excellent value, but they also come with a range of benefits that make them an attractive option for many buyers.
One of the primary reasons to opt for a used car is affordability. Buying a used vehicle can save you a significant amount of money compared to purchasing a brand new car. You can get a high-quality, pre-owned vehicle at a fraction of the cost of a new one. This is especially beneficial for those on a tight budget or first-time car buyers. With a used car, you can get behind the wheel of a reliable vehicle without breaking the bank.
Another significant advantage of buying a used car is that it holds its value better than a new car. When you purchase a new vehicle, its value depreciates rapidly in the first few years. In contrast, a used car has already taken the biggest depreciation hit, so its value remains more stable. This means that if you decide to sell your used car in the future, you'll get a better resale value. Additionally, used cars tend to have lower insurance rates, which can further reduce your overall costs.
In terms of variety, used cars offer a wide range of options to choose from. You can find a used car that fits your lifestyle, budget, and personal preferences. From sedans to SUVs, trucks to vans, there's a used car out there that's perfect for you. You can also explore different makes, models, and years to find the ideal vehicle that meets your needs. With so many options available, you're bound to find a used car that's just right for you.
If you're concerned about the reliability of a used car, consider opting for a certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicle. CPO cars have been thoroughly inspected and certified by the manufacturer or dealership, ensuring that they meet certain standards. These vehicles often come with warranties, roadside assistance, and other perks that provide added peace of mind. With a CPO car, you can enjoy the benefits of a used car while still having the assurance of a manufacturer-backed warranty.
In closing, buying a used car in St. Augustine offers a range of benefits that make it an attractive option for many buyers. From affordability and depreciation advantages to variety and certified pre-owned benefits, there are many reasons to explore used cars for sale in St. Augustine. Cars for Sale: How to Make Informed Decisions Before You Buy
Buying a car is a significant investment and often one of the most considerable purchases people make in their lives. Whether you're buying new or used, the process can be overwhelming, filled with options, and requires careful consideration.Â
In this blog, letâs explore the essential steps to make informed cars for sale Illawarra decisions before purchasing a car.
Define Your Needs
Before diving into the search for cars for sale, itâs crucial to determine your needs. Consider the following questions:
What features are important to you? Identify essential features such as safety ratings, fuel efficiency, cargo space, technology options, and performance specifications.
How will you use the car? Consider whether you'll use the car for commuting, leisure, family trips, or off-road adventures. This will influence the type of vehicle you should look forâsedan, SUV, hatchback, or truck.
What is your budget? Establish a clear budget, taking into account the total cost of ownership, including insurance, maintenance, fuel, and registration.
Do Your Research
Once you have a clear understanding of your needs, it's time to conduct thorough research on the available options. Utilise online resources to compare various makes and models. Here are some helpful steps to consider:
Resale Value:Â Research the depreciation rates of the vehicles youâre considering. Some brands hold their value better than others, which can be beneficial if you plan to sell or trade in the vehicle in the future.
Safety Ratings:Â Look up safety ratings from organisations like the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Safety features should be a top priority in your decision-making process.
Read Reviews:Â Check automotive review websites like Edmunds, Car and Driver, and Consumer Reports. They provide expert opinions and consumer feedback on the latest vehicles.
Set Your Budget
Establishing a budget is vital to avoid overspending and ensure that you can comfortably manage your car payments. Consider the following components:
Total Cost of Ownership:Â Beyond the purchase price, factor in insurance costs, fuel efficiency, maintenance expenses, and potential repair costs. Tools like the True Cost to Own calculator can help you estimate these expenses.
Financing Options:Â Explore various financing options, such as bank loans, credit unions, or dealership financing. Compare interest rates and terms to find the best deal.
Down Payment: Aim to make a substantial cars for sale Illawarra down payment to reduce the loan amount. A larger down payment can lower your monthly payments and interest rates.
Visit Dealerships and Inspect Vehicles
Once you have narrowed down your choices, itâs time to visit dealerships and inspect the vehicles in person. Hereâs how to approach this step:
Mechanical Inspection:Â For used cars, itâs wise to have a trusted mechanic inspect the vehicle before purchase. They can identify any potential issues that might not be visible during a casual inspection.
Vehicle History Report:Â If youâre considering a used car, request a vehicle history report through services like Carfax or AutoCheck. This report can reveal important information, including past accidents, title issues, and service history.
Test Drive:Â Always test drive the cars youâre interested in. Pay attention to comfort, handling, visibility, and any unusual sounds or vibrations. Ensure the vehicle meets your driving expectations.
Negotiate the Price
Once youâve selected a vehicle, itâs time to negotiate the price. Here are some tips to keep in mind:
Consider Additional Costs:Â Keep in mind any additional costs, such as taxes, registration, and dealer fees, when negotiating the final price.
Be Prepared to Walk Away:Â Donât be afraid to walk away if the deal doesnât meet your expectations. There are plenty of cars for sale, and itâs essential to find one that fits your needs and budget.
Know the Market Value:Â Use online pricing tools like Kelley Blue Book or Edmunds to determine the fair market value of the car. This will give you a solid basis for negotiation.
Review the Paperwork
Before finalising the purchase, carefully review all paperwork. Hereâs what to check:
Sales Contract:Â Ensure the terms of the sale, including the price, financing details, and warranty information, are accurately reflected in the contract.
Title and Registration:Â Verify that the title is clear and that the seller can provide a valid title transfer.
Warranty Information:Â Understand the warranty coverage provided by the manufacturer or dealership, including any limitations or exclusions.
Final Thoughts
Buying a car is an exciting journey, but it requires careful planning and consideration. By defining your needs, conducting thorough research, setting a budget, visiting dealerships, negotiating prices, and reviewing paperwork, you can make informed decisions that lead to a satisfying purchase.Â
Whether youâre buying new cars for sale Illawarra vehicle or a certified pre-owned car, taking these steps will help you drive away with confidence, knowing you made a smart choice.

Why Mileage Matters When Buying Used Trucks For Sale
Introduction: The Mileage Mystery
Imagine this: Youâve just spotted your dream truck on a dealershipâs lotâits sleek lines and robust build are calling your name.Â
But as you take a closer look, youâre faced with a question thatâs less glamorous but just as crucial: mileage.Â
Itâs like the age-old debate of âShould I go for the high-end coffee or stick with my usual?â Mileage can be the deciding factor that makes or breaks your truck-buying decision.Â
So, letâs dive into why mileage matters when buying used trucks for sale in New Zealand and how it can affect your investment.
The Heartbeat of Your Truck: Why Mileage Matters
When browsing through used trucks for sale in New Zealand, mileage is more than just a number on the odometerâit reflects the truckâs life and performance. Hereâs why itâs essential:
1. Understanding Wear and Tear
The number of miles on a truckâs odometer directly correlates with its wear and tear. Just like you wouldnât buy a vintage car with high mileage without a second thought, you need to carefully consider the mileage of used trucks for sale in New Zealand.Â
Higher mileage usually means more wear on the engine, transmission, and other critical components.
High Mileage: Trucks with higher mileage might have experienced more frequent repairs and parts replacements. Itâs not necessarily a deal-breaker but a red flag that should prompt a thorough inspection.
Low Mileage: Lower mileage often means the truck has more life left in its major components. However, itâs essential to ensure that it hasnât been subjected to long idleness, which can also cause issues.
2. Maintenance History and Resale Value
A truckâs mileage can also tell you much about its maintenance history. Generally, trucks that are used more frequently but are well-maintained will have a better track record than those that have been sitting idle.
Regular Maintenance: Trucks with higher mileage but a strong maintenance history can still be a great buy. Look for oil changes, brake replacements, and other routine maintenance records.
Resale Value: Mileage impacts a truck's resale value. Trucks with lower mileage typically hold their value better, so if you plan to resell in the future, consider how mileage might affect your return on investment.
Inspecting the Mileage: What to Look For
When youâre in the market for used trucks for sale in New Zealand, itâs crucial to do more than just glance at the mileage. Hereâs how to get a clearer picture:
1. Check the Odometer Reading
The first step is to verify the odometer reading. Ensure it aligns with the truckâs age and usage. A truck thatâs a few years old but shows extremely low mileage might be suspect.
Unusually Low Mileage: This could indicate that the truck was rarely used, which might seem ideal, but could mean it has been idle for long periods, potentially causing issues like dry rot or fuel system problems.
Consistent Usage: A truck with consistent mileage typically suggests it has been used regularly and is more likely to be in good working order.
2. Review the Maintenance Records
Ask for the truck's maintenance history. A well-documented service record can provide insight into how the truck has been cared for and whether the mileage aligns with the work done.
Service Records: Look for records of oil changes, tyre replacements, and other critical services. Consistent maintenance is a positive sign, even if the mileage is high.
Repairs and Replacements: Check for any significant repairs or replacements. A truck with higher mileage but with recent engine or transmission replacements might still be a good buy.
The Impact of Mileage on Performance
The mileage of a truck can have a significant impact on its performance. Hereâs how:
1. Engine and Transmission
The engine and transmission are the heart of any truck. Higher mileage usually means more wear and tear on these critical components.
Engine Wear: A truck with high mileage might experience reduced engine performance, lower fuel efficiency, and more frequent breakdowns.
Transmission Issues: High mileage can also affect the transmission, leading to issues with shifting gears or more costly repairs.
2. Suspension and Steering
Mileage can affect a truck's suspension and steering components. Over time, these parts can wear out, leading to a less comfortable ride and handling issues.
Suspension Wear: Look for signs of wear in the suspension system, such as unusual noises or a rough ride. High-mileage trucks may require suspension repairs or replacements sooner.
Steering Issues: Pay attention to the steering feel and responsiveness. Excessive mileage can lead to steering problems that need attention.
Making an Informed Decision: Balancing Mileage with Other Factors
While mileage is crucial, itâs not the only factor to consider when buying used trucks for sale in New Zealand. Hereâs how to balance mileage with other considerations:
1. Truck History Report
Obtain a truck history report to check for past accidents, title issues, or other concerns. A history report can provide additional context to the mileage and overall condition of the truck.
2. Professional Inspection
Have a professional mechanic inspect the truck before making a purchase. They can assess the truckâs condition beyond whatâs visible and give you an expert opinion on whether the mileage is a concern.
3. Usage Needs
Consider how you plan to use the truck. If you need a workhorse for heavy-duty tasks, investing in a truck with lower mileage might be worth it. However, a higher mileage truck with a good maintenance record could be a practical choice if you're looking for something for occasional use.
Conclusion: Mileage Matters, But So Does Research
When buying used trucks for sale in New Zealand, mileage is a critical factor influencing the truckâs longevity, performance, and resale value.Â
However, itâs essential to look beyond the numbers and consider the truckâs overall condition, maintenance history, and how it aligns with your needs.Â
You can find a truck that offers reliability and value with the right approach. So, take your time, research, and choose wiselyâyouâll be hitting the road with confidence in no time!

Where Can I Sell My Old Truck For Cash?
If you are looking to sell your truck that is no longer serving your purpose, there are multiple options to sell a truck. When people have an unwanted truck, they look for car dealerships or try to sell it privately. There are various options, such as online car dealerships, specialized truck buyers, dealerships and trade-ins, and auctions. Truck owners can earn cash for trucks from these options.
Moreover, there are companies that offer free car removal services so that truck owners will not have to bring their vehicles to salvage yards. Sell my truck services includes various other benefits that will be discussed in this blog. In this blog, we will also discuss various options to sell a car and find out which one is best for you.
WHERE SHOULD I SELL MY TRUCK?
Here is a list of a few truck-selling options, and truck owners can choose any of them for a car sale.
DEALERSHIPS AND TRADE-INS
Dealerships often offer trade-in deals where you can exchange your old truck for a discount on a new vehicle. While convenient, it is important to note that dealerships may offer less cash than a private sale because they need to profit from the resale. However, if you are in the market for a new vehicle, this could be a time-saving option.
ONLINE CAR DEALERSÂ
The digital age has provided us with different online platforms. These platforms can connect you directly with potential buyers and offer a broader audience than local sales.
When listing your truck, provide detailed descriptions and clear photos, and be honest about the condition of your vehicle. This transparency builds trust with potential buyers and can help secure a sale faster.
SPECIALTY TRUCK BUYERS
Certain companies specialize in buying trucks directly and offering cash on the spot. These buyers often have a simple process. Moreover, they provide an online or over-the-phone quote and pick up the vehicle themselves. Cash For Old Trucks company is one of them and offers competitive cash for trucks that are no longer needed.
AUCTIONS
Auctions, both in the physical and digital realms, present a unique opportunity for truck sellers to tap into a wider market. This platform is especially beneficial if your truck holds a particular appeal, be it due to its high demand, unique features, or specialized use. This method is ideal for sellers looking for a fast transaction, as auctions have set dates and times. They provide a clear timeline for the sale.
Furthermore, the dynamic nature of auctions can attract enthusiasts and collectors, who may value your truck more than the average buyer. They ensure you get the best possible price for your vehicle.
WHY IS CASH FOR OLD TRUCKS BEST FOR SELLING TRUCKS?
Old Truck For Cash is a professional car-buying company that offers a service called âsell my truck or cash for trucksâ. This company offers various benefits to car owners in terms of truck sales. When selling vehicles through this service, you do not need to advertise your trucks and interact with uninterested buyers. Moreover, there is no need to navigate through long negotiations by opting to sell your truck for cash.
Cash transactions are simple and fast. These companies provide instant financial satisfaction without the risk of cheque or payment plans. This company prioritizes ease of use and quickness. They offer customers with assurance of a stress-free selling process.
Furthermore, selling your truck for cash directly to this company can often get a better price for sellers. These companies understand the value of used trucks, recognizing the potential in parts, metals, and the vehicle itself for various purposes, including resale, refurbishing, or recycling.
CONCLUSION
Selling your truck for cash requires a mix of strategy, honesty, and research. Whether you choose to sell online, through a dealership, to specialty buyers, or within your community, knowing your options can help you make an informed decision. Prepare your truck, gather all necessary documentation, and set a realistic price to attract serious buyers. With the right approach, you will find a buyer willing to pay cash for your truck, making the selling process as smooth as possible.

Mike Savage New Canaan Classic Cars - The Best Muscular Tissue Cars And Trucks
The Merriam-Webster thesaurus defines muscle mass cars as, "any one of a team of American-made 2-door sporting activities coupes with effective engines designed for high-performance driving."
Although point of views differ, it is often mentioned that the 1949 Oldsmobile Rocket 88 is the initial muscle mass automobile ever before produced. It was developed with speed as well as power in mind, utilizing an effective engine with a lightweight body.
By the mid-1970s several of this market merged right into individual luxury efficiency vehicles, therefore starting a period where personal luxury overtook light-weight rate.
Performance-type vehicles began to make a return in the USA throughout the 1980s, however with new laws governing safety as well as air pollution combined with boosted manufacturing costs, these brand-new automobiles were not developed to the formula of the traditional low-priced muscular tissue vehicles. Introducing electronic gas shot and also overdrive transmission to the remaining muscular tissue vehicle survivors like the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro as well as Pontiac Firebird helped suffer a market share for them alongside personal deluxe sports cars with performance bundles.

They typically shed rubber, as well as were anything but nimble. Big, heavy, loud as well as rude, they personified every little thing that was fantastic regarding the American auto industry of the 1960s as well as 1970s.
American car-maker Chevrolet supplied various types, beginning with the Corvette in 1953, including the Impala, Chevelle, El Camino, as well as Nova to its rankings throughout the years.

It's a couple other retail shops and a few small ones and then it's some other large businesses
**Sears and the whole store they don't want to share it or anything and they don't even want to be involved and I think they can pretend they're phones and capture clones and all sorts of chicanery like that anything it's a big game and they're full against laughing about it and angry they had to work their whole lives to hold on to the power and stuff. The store is going to be Irish livestock and barrel including Craftsman and several other brands that are theirs. It's a very nice store it sells more than JCPenney and it sells almost as much as Walmart and we're bringing tons of stores back online and Walmart will come to its knees finally and turned into a hot and steamy jerk it's still so a lot of food that people buy but they're going out because they don't bring in stuff they need and they don't keep it supplied and it allows the other jobs and a lot of them are retards it's not a place for them to work it's too high-paced and it's too fast a lot of it's unionized and they don't care but means better wages it's a lot of people who needed to work and hate them and they're going to be coming in and we're going to be taking over and we're going to be forced to and it's already happening in major cities and major areas we really need these outlets to start selling our products that stores are awesome that's the only wanted in a few places and people go there are shunned and so forth makes it hard for them and our son was right and us and us but we said it later too and we figured it out pretty quick it's a perfect outlet and we're going to utilize it but there are a lot of Little stores Old Navy the gap Levis outlets and they're all coming to us today huge numbers there's probably only a few that aren't and most of them will be the chairman of the entire board. But serious is going to sell a lot of our products we have a lot of Briggs & Stratton products we're going to sell from there including lawn equipment and light duty excavation equipment and a lot of it a front end loaders with buckets they sell them there and excavators too and they usually don't and you don't need a license for a certain size tons of people are going to buy them in the biggest and it's not really huge but it's not small it's like the size of a pickup truck tip to toe but it really doesn't look that big cuz it's only the height of the front hood of a regular F-150 and it's nowhere near as big in Mass but it does have the length it's a really intense machine for a the small backhoe and it does a lot of work there's a lot of attachments and you can be a small construction company and do every job there is with that thing and you get special tires for it too and you can do all sorts of projects in Florida for lawns and so forth and pull a roller behind it do huge lawns it's really appropriate down here and it's really inexpensive it's like $11,000 so cost of a very very cheap car but it's the value of the top of the line Ford F-350 when it comes to work and we're going to sell them real soon out of Sears once we sign we start loading them up all over the world and people will start to see our stuff.
**there's a huge number of apparel stores rue 21 and Abercrombie & Fitch and the Gap and all sorts of stores that are coming to us I'm not mentioned in any lists except for the list of the owners and there's only five major owners that own almost every single store there's a giant number of them okay and it's a prevalent thing for these people to talk back to our son he's looking big or saying something big and they're doing it now and he doesn't on purpose to get them to say stuff they say I don't care but they're upset about it and it's a Galactus shirt and they send you some gorilla type looking person. It's not Danny DeVito but it's related his related to him. So they get stressed out front. There is a whole bunch of these stores too many and a lot of them are dogs and we're going to pull them out and they don't sell anything like no sales at all and we don't want that we don't want people like playing space with people who can be preventive
That's about it for retailers for now there's a whole bunch of other types of stores other than department stores and clothing and some specialty shops and we will be getting to those there's millions of different types of stores and they sell all sorts of specialty items like Best buy and we are going to sign on several of the large chains today and one of them is
**Best buy it's an outstanding store it's our son's concept of going somewhere and buying everything that you can ever think of this electronic and it kind of ruined that place a little bit and it's the idiots and you can't find what you want and they thought they'd control everything and instead they got beat up very badly cuz they started squeezing it off too early and didn't control everything and the clones came in and start beating them up and had nobody to defend them and people didn't care on the other side and all both ganged up on them and for us and we took over Max plan to do and we plan to as well so here we are we are doing well and we are of course purchasing more or less the store and but really they're signing over the chair seats and they're not going to have those positions
**other specialty shops and stores like Staples OfficeMax office Depot and other electronic stores I think it's security Plus and more there's a few more out there and they they are pretty big and our doors of course will be opened and we're going to start selling and we will trace and we have a need to hire just a lot of people today today is going to be too big we need to we need to get out there and he said to have job fairs and in our place on our places and it's all going to be for a military and they'll be surprised he says to go in and set it all up like a job fair and put the sign up that says it and say these jobs are all available and include the ones that are on planet and have some code for it or on and we're going to do that let's try doing it but today we have to and we got to grow really really fast and this is how you do it. There's a whole bunch of specialty shops and we're going to begin taking them over there's a bath bed bath & beyond at this kitchen stores there's just like a few hundred more that are pretty big and they are signing to us today and we are taking over the manufacturing end of it as well as we sign it over the manufacturers refuse to do business and we have to take them over it's going to be a giant giant increase in our labor need I put it out there now

So, real quick, what the FUCK is 'White Noise' about?
It isn't weird to be weird. It has very detailed and specific purposes and points. What are they? I HAVE NO IDEA. It's so layered, open for interpretation, and satirical abstract that you do not know when it's trying to make a serious point or make a joke about a serious point (that we take too seriously).
It's German. SO fucking German. Sense of humor to timing to writing to fucking Hitler, German, and Germany being all kinds of focal points beyond reasoning. So either this was written by a German, for Germans, or...an american trying to do Germanic work. But it's German. What does that mean? Dry, on the nose humor (to the point if you can't tell if it's trying to be funny or bring a mirror to society). Also it does what every 'smart/witty' movie does: everybody is a fucking (well informed) genius, even the kids and by standers, and NO ONE BREATHS; they all have a cocked and loaded responses for ANYONE saying ANYTHING at anytime. BECAUSE THAT'S HOW NORMAL HUMANS OPERATE. This isn't necessarily German, but def European. And NY times asshole-ish.
Major Themes:
>Germany (in every way).
>Life, rebirth.
>Death and Entropy (GERMAN x 3).
>Programming people's minds.
>Purgatory (is a grocery store. I thought that was witty).
>Pride (and it harming you or your loved ones).
>Hope, faith, and mob mentality.
>Disasters that are impossible to avoid/be influenced by.
>Divorce, marriage, love, betrayal.
What were not major themes in any way:
>Holding the trucking company who caused the accident accountable.
>Holding the train company accountable for transporting unsafe amounts of toxic chemicals (never say to WHERE it was going either).
>Holding the government accountable for letting the above 2 get away with what they did.
Everyone is saying this is predictive programming, but I will tell you: this was an ART project. The accident and spill were more of a motivator to push the characters in the direction they were going, not a main focus of the themes. I felt like this was a movie, knowing it was a movie, seeing what they could get away with. I mean it starts with the entertainment value of car accidents in movies, and how we become numb to the reality of the violence and death of it all. And later, if an event/disaster doesn't harm enough people/the right people, the media (and in turn world) won't care about it.
THEN it ends with a WHOLE DANCE NUMBER thru the credits. That happened no where else in the movie, nor made sense compared to the rest of the movie.
So again: WHAT THE FUCK WAS THE POINT OF 'WHITE NOISE'?
It's not bad. It's good for what it is. But what exactly it is is....up for debate.
White Noise: 7.2/10. Worth the one time watch (and reading all the different background aesthetic choices you missed cuz the movie never stops with its' narratives).
ps-Best part? Probably one of the only undeniable 'that is def for comedic effect' parts of the movie (cuz again: you had no idea when it was funny or so on the nose real). He confronts his wife in the dark room by clicking on the light dramatically. But...it's unexpectedly way too bright, so he clicks it a few more times to adjust the setting, awkwardly. That was such an overdone trope, but done in a wholly new funny manner. Tho I am sure fucking family guy did it too at some point. They have no original ideas...
pps-with how it was written, acted, and overall done? This would have been a better stage play. 1000%. Few times would something be better live (and overacted). Sorry but super deep monologues (from more than one character)....aren't realistic, or regular, in a movie setting. Never feels...authentic. It feels staged. And that's where they should be...

Is The Resale Value Of Pickup Trucks Higher Than That Of Cars?
Used Chevy trucks for sale have higher resale values than most cars, but do trucks trump cars when it comes to resale value? The resale value is critical whether you're looking for a new car or trying to sell your old truck. Pickup trucks generally surpass sedans in terms of resale value, according to the analysis, which takes into consideration a number of characteristics. There are four causes for this:
1. A Sturdier Design
In terms of durability, pickup trucks have a little advantage over cars. Pickup trucks often survive longer than cars and can carry heavier loads. Because most customers want reliable vehicles that they can use and resell if necessary, lifespan is an important factor to consider when determining resale value.
Cars with a more deliberate design and long-lasting parts will fetch greater prices when it comes time to sell. The design is also safer and more stable on the road. They can negotiate off-road terrain and seem in better shape after many years when compared to standard SUVs and sedans of the same age.
2. There is a Great Deal of Demand
Trucks retain their value better than cars due to their high demand. Contractors demand them, but only a small percentage of business owners have them. As a result of this combination, trucks, rather than cars, are in high demand. In most used vehicle ads, there are more cars than trucks.
Pickup trucks are also versatile, allowing them to be employed for a wide range of activities. They can convey the entire family and can handle things that are larger, heavier, or weirdly shaped. Because of the high demand for pickup trucks, it's simple to sell one, so you may shop around for the best deal.
3. Preference Drivetrain
One of the advantages of pickup trucks is their drivetrain. Most versions come standard with a 4x4 drivetrain, allowing you to easily handle harsh and off-road terrain. On slippery and gravel roads, trucks are safer to drive, because they safeguard you from getting stuck in the mud.
Buyers favor the four-wheel drivetrain because of its dependability on diverse roads. Families can rely on pickup trucks as a backup vehicle. Farmers, workshop owners, and contractors all like truck drivetrains. Even rusted-out old pickup vehicles have a market.
4. Lower-than-average depreciation rates
Pickup trucks depreciate more slowly than other cars, such as sedans and crossover SUVs. Minimal depreciation is aided by factors such as study design, versatility, dependability, drivetrain, and overall demand.
Cars degrade more faster than other types of property, and their resale value plummets considerably when they are damaged. As the design matures, it degrades at a faster rate, demanding more frequent repairs. Pickup vehicle replacement parts are harder to come by, and each component is more expensive.
Davis Chevrolet Has A Selection Of Used Chevrolet Trucks For Sale.
Chevy truck models like the Silverado 1500 and Colorado have a higher resale value and are among the top ten most valued pickup vehicles on the market. Each vehicle is distinct, and its value is influenced by factors such as model, age, mileage, previous crushes, and more.

I was the match and you were the rock
This was supposed to be a very different fic, but Things We Lost In The Fire by Bastille came on, and this was born (also I listened to the song on repeat, so there may be some lyrics scattered around đ)
It is also quite sad (at least I have tears in my eyes writing it), so I guess sorry? Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy it! đ (Also on ao3)
Oh and there might be spoilers for the finale? With everything happening with the airstream.
Michael was sitting on the ground, back against his truck, in the middle of the junkyard, looking at his trailer go up in flames. All the people he cared about were besides him, Alex sitting on his right, rubbing his thigh. He had his arm around the other man, the two of them mourning the airstream and all the moments shared.
But more than just memories with Alex, the trailer held Michaelâs life for over a decade. He knew the others were sad, but overall they all shared the same sense of joy - Jones was no more a threat. And as much as Michael wanted to celebrate, he also mentally counted how much everything would cost to replace, if he could live with Alex until he found a solution, how many other vehicles had been touched, how deep in debt Sanders Auto would be in.
âOut.â Sanders said, not leaving any place for discussion. He was standing, leaning against Michaelâs truck, his leg touching Michaelâs shoulder, a comforting presence.
When Michael had fallen to the ground seeing the flames, Sanders had kept standing, head high. But deep down, he was in a similar state to Michael - teary eye(s) and wet cheek(s), calculating the loss of money, the loss of small sentimental value. Because even if there wasnât much in the airstream, it was all Michaelâs, and Sanders had grown used to it being there, was even attached to the poor thing.
This is why he was asking everyone to leave. They didnât belong in this place, and didn't understand what was truly happening. They wanted to celebrate the win against Jones - as they should - but they didnât feel the same loss that Michael did.
Michael didnât even register Sandersâ word, didnât even hear the cars leaving, his ears still ringing from the explosion. He had gone into the airstream, to try to save anything, but it was too late, most of the inside had burnt down already, the outside shell starting to melt.
I will burn down everything you care about, Jones had said when they defeated him. At first, Michael didnât understand. Alex was standing next to him, seemingly not on fire, Isobel and Max in a similar state. He even checked in with Sanders, called the old man to make sure he was okay, when the explosion happened. Michael had driven as fast as he could, rushing to the airstream, Alex shouting after him.
He didnât see Alex running after him, forgetting for a moment that Michael was fireproof. It was only when Alex grabbed Michaelâs hand inside the airstream, that Michael registered the dangerousity of Alex being here. Using his powers, he had pushed Alex out of there, but that didnât stop both of them to still be coughing and Alexâs prosthetic needing to be replaced.
But neither of those things were at the front of Alexâs mind in that instant. Sitting on the ground, his leg in front of him, still hot from the fire, coughing once in a while, his only focus was Michael. Michael was okay, physically. The flames hadnât burned him, and the coughing had stopped after a while. Emotionally, on the other hand, he knew that Michael was not okay. Even if he couldnât fully understand how much the airstream meant to Michael, he knew that he was hurting, and wanted nothing more than to be there to comfort his boyfriend.
And so he stayed. When Sanders told the others to go, he looked up to the older man, who was only looking at the flames. He wondered if he should leave the two to be alone, to mourn, to check the damage, but he also knew that he was not going to leave Michaelâs side for a few days, especially not after what happened with Jones.
The firefighters came, eventually. By then, nothing could be saved. Luckily, Michael had used his powers to push the remaining cars and various other inflammable objects present in the junkyard to the side.
When the firefighters left, having checked Alex, Michael and Sanders and advising them to go get checked out at the hospital, the three men were alone, the airstreamâs creaking cutting through the night.
âYou should head home,â Michael whispered to Alex, his eyes never leaving the airstream, âyou need to rest your leg, Iâll join you in a bit.â He turned his head to meet Alex, who could see all the desperation, the sadness and the anger present in those golden eyes.
âYouâre sure?â Alex asked, even though he already knew the answer.
Michael nodded, turning back to the airstream with a sniff. âWe need to check for what can be covered by insurance, and what weâll lose,â Sanders said with a gruff, turning his back to the airstream for the first time since the explosion.
Michael wiped his cheeks and turned around, facing Alex properly, who was sitting on the bed of the truck. From where he stood, Michael could see the airstream from the corner of his eye, could smell the burnt metal, could hear the cracks. He took Alexâs hands in his, âIâll be home in a bit,â he said, his voice breaking, âI just need -â he went on in a sobb, dropping his head into Alexâs shoulder, who put his hand to Michaelâs hair, in a comforting gesture.
It broke Alexâs heart to see this, to see Michael be so desperate, so lost, in such pain. âYou need to make a list of what burned down,â Alex finished, knowing that this was important to Michael, both financially, and sentimentally. Who knew if Sanders Auto would even recover from such havoc. Alex just knew that he would do everything he could so that Michael wasnât alone.
Michael sniffed into Alexâs shoulder, breaking Alexâs heart a little more, before standing up. He wiped his face with his hand, and breathed deeply, his hands still holding onto Alexâs.
Alex drove back home, putting his leg through one last painful challenge, before taking it off as soon as he sat on his couch, before texting Michael to let him know he had made it safe and sound.
Examining the prosthetic under a proper light, he could see that it was crooked, parts of it having melted in the heat. His stump was bright red and swollen, he made his way to the bathroom and warmed himself a bath, setting an alarm clock to get out of the water.
When the alarm rang, he dried himself and got dressed for bed, each step made with a wince. After taking two painkillers, he made his way to his bed, falling asleep as soon as he was under the covers.
He woke up when he felt a warm body slide next to him under the covers. When he opened his eyes, he saw Michael, curls still wet from the shower he had just taken, eyes still puffy. Alex scooted closer to Michael, wrapping him in his arms. They could talk in the morning, about Jones, about the airstream and the junkyard, but right now, both needed the rest and the comfort of each other.
In the morning, when Michael woke up, he found himself in an empty bed. He got out with a smile, eyes still puffy from the night before, but not crying anymore (not that he had any tears left in the first place), and walked to Alexâs living room, where he could hear some noise.
Getting closer, he could hear Alex on the phone, finishing up a conversation, âYeah okay, I will, thanks.â He was sitting on the couch, his leg propped up on top of a pillow, the prosthetic off. On the table were laying a jar of cometquiles spread and some flying sauce-cakes, making Michael chuckle, remembering the last time those were on that exact table.
âArthuro called and asked what you wanted, he heard about -â Alex said, going off at the end, not wanting to say it, but knowing that they needed to talk about it, the explosion.
âHowâs your knee?â Michael asked instead, taking a cake and sitting next to Alex, worry clear on his face. The airstream was gone, the damage already caused at the junkyard, he and Sanders had already talked about their next possible moves, right now the only thing he could act on was Alex. Whether it was a massage, fixing the prosthetic, anything Alex needed, wanted.
âIt has known better days,â Alex answered, leaning his head on Michaelâs shoulder while he ate. They were silent for a few minutes, Michael enjoying breakfast, Alex texting Kyle about his leg. Once Michael finished eating, he spoke up.
âSo, uh, we made a list?â Michael started, hesitantly. âOf all the things we lost in the fire. A few cars were touched, so thatâs gonna cost a lot with the clients. Hopefully we can get insurance, but I donât think thatâll be enough. Thereâs also a lot of old junk that burnt, which sucks since we wanted to sort through it and melt the metal parts together. Now itâs just a bunch of useless shit, so weâll have to throw that out. Weâll also need to replace the heavy tools, a lot of them are melted or burnt. So all in all, the bill is high.â
He sighed, âToo high,â he added at the end, a whisper, as if saying the words at louf would make them more real. After the pandemic, the junkyard was slowly building itself back up monetarily, but they still werenât out of the red. And the explosion only made things harder.
Alex rubbed his hand up and down Michaelâs back, listening in silence, being a comforting presence. One Michael finished speaking, Alex talked, voice low, testing the waters if Michael wasnât ready to talk about it now.
âDid you make a list for the airstream?â he asked, full of concern.
Michael nodded, and suddenly it was as if the dam had broken. When last night Michael was mostly in shock, he was fully sobbing, turning to Alex, who held him tight in the embrace.
âI lost -â Michael sobbed, âI lost everything, Alex.â
Alex held him, tried to make him feel calmer. Except, this was all new territory, seeing Michael brake like that, Alex had never witnessed it. Like everyone else, anger was mostly the emotion he had attributed to Michael in the past. And that anger was still there, now, sobbing into Alexâs chest. Except it was controlled, and surrounded by sadness and pain, that Alex didnât need to be psychic to feel.
Before, Alex might have taken Michaelâs comment personally, told him that he didnât lose everything, that Alex was still there. But this was past Alex, present Alex knew that Michael had built his life in that airstream, it was his first real home, the first safe place that was his and his only. Because where the truck was technically speaking the first thing Michael owned, the trailer was the first object he built from the ground up.
So yes, Michael had lost everything. Everything he owned, everything he built, the countless drawings and projects that scattered the walls of the airstream and the entire bunker, the photographs he kept hidden in a box.
Where people would see a piece of trash, some place that was unsanitary and dirty, some place that wouldnât be comfortable to live in, Michael had seen a home for many years. And as much as Alex was Michaelâs home, nothing could replace the airstream.
âI know,â Alex whispered into Michaelâs hair, âIâm sorryâ.
The two stayed in that position for a while, until Alexâs phone rang. Michael stood straight, wiped his eyes and his nose, and grabbed another cake, while Alex talked to Eduardo, giving a fast review of what happened with the Lockhart machine, but keeping it vague enough to not out Dallas.
âSeriously,â Alex laughed out after hanging up, âthe Valentiâs need to stop calling me.â At Michaelâs confused raised eyebrow, he continued, âI was talking to Kyle earlier, he was worried about my leg, telling me not to put it under pressure. As if I couldnât make that decision myself. And now, Eduardo is giving me a week off, to, I quote, ârestâ. I am a grown ass man, I can do that myself!â
Michael giggled at that, turning into a laugh. âWhat?â Alex asked with a smile, not understanding what was funny.
âBabe,â Michael said, leaning close, âyou do need people to tell you to rest.â He kissed Alexâs cheek as the other man chuckled, âThatâs fair,â Alex replied, turning to look at Michael.
He was not yet in a good state, his eyes were still puffy and red, his cheeks beard the path of dried tears, his curls were all over the place, and his eyes were still heartbreaking. The sadness and the pain were clear in them.
But when Alex looked deep into Michaelâs eyes, he could see that it was going to be okay. That Michael would hurt, for a long time even, and it would be hard to recover financially, but Michaelâs eyes had something in them that he had desperately tried to get rid of. Hope.
And that was enough for Alex to believe that they were going to be okay. That Michael was going to be okay. The fight wasnât over. The otherâs may not be fighting Jones anymore, but Michael and Alex weren't done. In more ways than once.
They still had to deal with the damages in the junkyard. Help Sanders with his auto shop. And deal with their personal fears, Michaelâs fears about his father.
The fire had destroyed Michaelâs home, but from the ashes, a new one was being built.

Sebs interview with Der Spiegel, 26.6.2021, Part 2
as with Part 1, there might be some typos or small translation errors
Q: Formula 1 team bosses like Toto Wolff from Mercedes say that the Grand Prix circus has a communication problem. It hadn't worked to explain the grand efficiency of those hybrid engines to the audience.
A: The problem of Formula 1 to me isn't a question of communication. It's a question of relevance. We ask ourselves if we're allowed to shoot fireworks on New Year - because that also produces fine particles and emits CO2. In a time like this it's fully justified that Formula 1 has to fight for its place and its right to stay. So it should again become a development ground for the sake of the series production and - because we need mobility - for the sake of the environment.
Q: What does serial production owe to Formula 1?
A: Innovations like the ABS, for example,kr traction control. Driving has gotten safer for the individual person, accidents get avoided. That's what I call relevant. If you look into my race car today, it has none of that.
Q: Why?
A: Because it's about putting the driver's performance into the spotlight. And with it the sport and the entertainment. Which is correct, but it took the relevance from Formula 1.
Q: How can Formula 1 become a development ground for the car industry again?
A: A great chance could be the development of synthetic fuels.
Q: The German car industry is steering strongly towards electric engines. And you want to save the dated combustion engine?
A: On this world, there's about a billion cars that burn diesel or petrol. Those can't be replaced from one day to the next. It would also be desirable to find a way to operate those cars without damaging the environment. I know that synthetic fuels stand only at the beginning of development, that it still takes time, that it's expensive. But if nobody pushes that development, it will always stay that expensive.
Q: Do you think the switch to electric drive is a mistake?
A: I wouldn't say a mistake, no. But like with everything in life, you shouldn't just bet on one horse. We can't just look at Germany here. We have to look at this globally and look at regions where the switch away from the combustion engine can't be completed that quickly. Who's going to build a useful charging infrastructure in Africa or South America in a time that short? And what about trucks, about ships and planes? It's not foreseeable with those when they can be operated electrically. So we need alternatives. And Formula 1 is perfect for that.
Q: The FIA has frozen all engine regulations until 2025. The manufacturers invested hundreds of millions into the engines. Those should amortize first.
A: I understand the argumentation. Only, if the FIA announces to force more environmentally friendly engines from 2025 onwards, I'm asking myself why we delay such an important development. It needs the courage to not hold on to old things anymore. Not to treat the interests of individuals with consideration but act in the interest of us all.
Q: After your five years with Ferrari you didn't end your career and looked for a new job in F1. So you decided to stay part of the system.
A: Please assume that I give my opinions openly to the decision makers who make the rules. And as a driver I'm probably listened to more than as a retired driver. Again: if the rules dictated to maybe mix 50% synthetic fuels in for the transition and then drive with 100% non-fossil fuels in a few years, that would be exactly the challenge Formula 1 needs - quickly bringing technological innovation on the road.
Q: The Grand Prix circus leaves a massive ecological footprint. There used to be 16 races, mostly in Europe, today its 23 races and all the people and the material gets flown from continent to continent.
A: Absolutely. The race calendar doesn't make much sense. At the moment it's following too much the interests and wishes of singular countries and sponsors, same as the pointless waste of resources at plane shows. Those are things that can be worked out quickly and where the change would have a big impact. I hear from other sports trying to reduce their travel efforts. The ski circus wants to avoid the commute between Austria, Switzerland and the other Alpine countried in the future and plan a sensible route through the winter instead.
Q: Would Formula 1 be willing to do that?
A: It's talked about at least. The Formula 1 management have invited me to a round table discussion about environmental issues last time, where there were talks about the race calendar as well. I hope this get worked on now.
Q: The sport has a far reaching autonomy, should politics give more impulses in environmental questions?
A: Firstly, it's important that people understand that protecting the environment concerns everyone. Then I would wish for a change in Germany, to lead with a good example. That there isn't only talking but action. The Bundesverfassungsgericht (federal constitutional court) upped the pressure with the decision for climate protection. I think there needs to be a change at the top.
Q: So you want the Green Party in power?
A: I know that the Green Party often get called a 'prohibition party', but we have to move away from words like prohibition or sacrifice and from the fear, everything would develop into a bad direction. We should recognize the chances.
Q: You're going to vote green?
A: At the moment, almost every party has climate protection written on their banner and in their program. The question is, where will actually something happen. We should vote for a government where we're convinced that they stand for those values and principles most authentically. Yes, I will vote Green.
Q: Isn't it shocking to you that the Green Party in the case of their government participation will want to plead for a speed limit on german motorways?
A: The times where you could really step on the gas on the motorway are long gone anyways. It feels like half the motorway is under construction all the time and the other half has so much traffic that you can't drive fast. I actually believe we'd be better of with a 120 or 130 kph speed limit, just because the traffic would flow better.
Q/End: Mr Vettel, thank you for the conversation.
