eddie and his sisters only talk like 3 times a year (birthdays thanksgiving and christmas) and they all think there's nothing they can do to reconcile because eddie was sonsband to his mom and brother/father to his sisters and the people he always gravitates towards are his tía and his abuela.. how can you see your brother as someone on your side when he raised you and fought with your parents to their faces while you placated and still somehow was closer to the adults in the family than he was to you.......
