Chara Dreemurr
They have a hard time with feelings. And with this I don’t mean romantic feelings, I mean feelings in general. They can't recognize what they are feeling or what others are feeling until there is a strong reaction. For example, they won’t know that they are upset or sad until they cry uncontrollably or they snap at someone else. It’s the same with those around them, they won’t know if someone is sad until they see the tears.
Also, they won’t be able to voice out how they are feeling if someone were to ask them directly. That’s why the majority of time people will see them as a person that doesn’t care about anything.
They love TV Girl and Cavetown. No one can change my mind- I have a feeling that their favorite songs would be Boys will be Bugs, 1994, Meteor Shower, Lemon Boy, Things that make it warm, Lovers Rock, Not allowed, and Hate Yourself.
I personally believe that Chara can play the piano and they are pretty good at it too. They don’t play the typic songs, I feel like when they were first learning they got stressed over not getting the notes right so at the end they got their own little tunes inspired by those songs they didn’t learn.
Alsooo they are pretty independent, or at least they like to appear like they are. By the way they grew up, they see asking for help as a sign of weakness so they tend to do anything on their own and get mad when someone tries to help them.
They obviously need help, overall mental help, but they refuse to accept it because it also makes them feel guilty. This is because they often think they don’t deserve this kindness at all.
Perfectionist. Not with everything and everyone, but with the things they do. They absolutely hate it when something goes wrong with what they are doing and will get pretty defensive or quit all together.
Trust issues at its finest as you can guess. The only reason they became more trustful towards Y/n is because welp Y/n is not a human. That’s literally their reasoning. Not being human means you may not be as cruel, and the witch population was also affected by humans so they are somewhat compassionate about it.
Please someone hug this child. They were trying to help everyone and ended up stuck as a ghost seeing how those they love are still trapped underground. The guilt of what happened to their little monster sibling is eating them alive.
Okay let's leave the sad topics.
Clingy. They. Are. Clingy. They will always deny it, but they are attention seekers and touch starved. If they think of you as their friend then you better be prepared cuz this child will demand their hourly attention.
Do not get annoyed if they are messing around with you. This is their way of saying that you have all their attention and they trust you with all their being to let their childish/playful side out, think of it as them being ‘weak’ around you. However, if you actually get mad and tell them about it, then they will tone it down.
As a friend they are good listeners. They aren’t much for words or comforting, so when you are sad all they can do is hug you and listen to what you have to say. Just make sure to do the same thing whenever they are down.
They love scary things. Don’t get me wrong, they will be shitting their pants but they love the adrenaline that they feel whenever they play a horror game or are watching a movie.
I see them staying in their house most of the time, but they will not decline an offer to go outside as long as there won’t be many people. They get pretty anxious with crowded places, often feeling judged. However, they love walks through the forest, exploring abandoned places, or going to a library.
Of course it also depends about who is going- They prefer it when it’s just the both of you since they feel like you don’t judge them. Oftentimes they get pretty snappy if other people decide to tag along. ‘It ruins the whole mood’ they say…
They are pretty anxious- Being their only friend and the one they trust the most at the moment makes them scared that you’ll suddenly realize that they are not good enough. Whenever they are on a walk, they will pick small wild flowers or stones or literally anything and give it to you when they see you. It’s their way of proving that they can be a good friend-

Meant to be Here - by Hawfinch
Rating: General Audiences Archive Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply Categories:F/M Gen Fandom: Final Fantasy IV Relationships: Rosa Joanna Farrell/Cecil HarveyRosa Joanna Farrell & Kain Highwind Characters: rosa joanna farrell, Kain Highwind, Cecil Harvey, The Rest of the Gang Too, Joanna Farrell, rosa's dragoon dad Additional Tags: the real pairing is me/being sad about rosa and kain's unexplored freindship
Summary: Rosa's been planning her wedding since she was six, and in no version of it was Kain ever not there.
Read on AO3 or under the cut
Rosa is the girl who’s been planning her wedding since she knew what one was.
Rosa was about six when she planned the first wedding. She would ride in on a Unicorn under a rainbow to be with her fairy tail prince. They would have a huge cake and the unicorns would also have their own cake. A Carrot Cake. The unicorns would all have suits. Kain and Cecil would both have their own unicorn.
It was mostly about the unicorns in Wedding version one.
When she was eight, the amount of unicorns were significantly cut back. The rainbow could stay though. She decided on a beach wedding on a sunny day. Kain and Cecil would be her bridesmaids. Her dad asked why they would be her bridesmaids and not possibly her groom’s groomsmen. Rosa told him that they were her best friends and her groom couldn’t have them.
He laughed and told her that he was looking forward to giving her away to whoever was lucky enough to be her groom.
“Give me away?” Rosa asked.
“Well, it’s tradition. A father walks his daughter down the aisle.” Her father told her.
“Why?” Rosa asked.
“Well. Stems from some pretty archaic traditions, but nowadays, it’s more symbolic of. Uh.”
Rosa’s mother laughs at her husband before jumping in to explain.
“It’s supposed to represent the bond you share as father and daughter. He’s letting go to let you continue your life without him.” She says.
Version three of her wedding included more of her father. He would get the unicorn, and he would ride her down the aisle. Cecil and Kain would still be her bridesmaids, or bride guys as they insisted they be called when she told them about it all.
Rosa was twelve when she took a break. She didn’t think about it after her father had passed away.
Rosa was fifteen when the thought of getting married had crossed her mind again. She didn’t think about getting married until the day she realized she was in love.
Cecil was always part of the wedding plan, but never was he the groom in these scenarios.
Missus Rosa Joanna Harvey. Missus Rosa Joanna Harvey-Farrel? Rosa Harvey. She would figure that out later.
Cecil would be her groom, Kain her Man of Honor. Kain would also be Cecil’s best man. Maybe he could officiate the wedding too.
But she was getting ahead of herself, she hasn’t even told Cecil how she felt about him.
And there was the case of who would walk her down the aisle.
“Why not have Kain or Cecil walk you? They’re your best friends, I’m sure they would be honored to give you away to your groom.” Rosa’s mother suggested.
She listed off a few more people, but Rosa thought that Kain would be the perfect option.
He’s been her best friend since birth. They’ve always been together, they helped each other through the loss of their fathers. Rosa didn’t think there was anyone more worthy of walking her down the aisle than Kain.
It was made a little more complicated when Kain had confessed his feelings for her.
She thought about Kain for a long while to try and sort out her feelings. She loved him of course.
But not the way he loved her.
Kain was upset, but he accepted it quickly. It wasn’t the end of the world.
Rosa was worried, but Kain reassured her it was fine.
“I’m happy as long as you’re happy. You’re my best friend.” He tells her.
He even helps her tell Cecil how she feels. He knew that Cecil felt the same way, and that he could be very dense when it came to the matters of love.
At nineteen, Rosa wonders how much of Kain assuring her he was fine was really true. He wouldn’t look her in the eye, even as she was strung up under the pendulum blade as they wait for Cecil and the crystal. There was something off with Kain. He wasn’t the same Kain that kept her out of the throne room when she wanted to tell the King he was wrong for taking Cecil’s command of the Red Wings away. The Kain who lept in to help their friend in his hour of need.
Kain’s called out of the room and Rosa hears fighting. She hears Cecil’s voice as well as Yang’s, pleading for a man not to cast Meteor.
She almost misses the sound of the pendulum above her, creaking, it’s release becoming more imminent.
The ship shakes after what Rosa could only assume was the spell being cast.
She tried to remember the last spell she had been working on. If she could just teleport out, she could help. She could do something. She could help her friend.
But there was something that she just couldn’t get right. She tried and tried but nothing. The clinking of the chains became more apparent and she prayed to any god that would listen that she could just get out of these cuffs.
Those prayers were answered in the form of Kain rushing through the door, different than how he was just moments before. Following him was a white knight, that tore through the chains with a sword of flame, pulling her away just before the blade dropped, crushing the ground under where she had just been standing.
He held her in his arms and she looked up at him, amazed of what she was witnessing.
It was Cecil, her knight in shining armor. He held her and she stared into his eyes before pulling him down into a kiss.
She smiled at him when he pulled away, and she looked at the rest of the group. A distinct lack of a certain bard and young girl, but Yang appeared to stay with Cecil, even Cid came along.
And Kain.
He wouldn’t meet their gaze. But it was different than before. Before it was as if every action of his was under someone else’s will. Now.
Now it was guilt.
She wanted to ask him what had happened, why this had happened. But what she wanted most of all was to tell him that it would be fine.
But there was no time for that before they were attacked by the Archfiend of Wind.
She wanted to take her down on the behalf of Kain. Rosa didn’t see her much, but when she did, she was only ever around to bother an already bothered Kain.
When the fiend went down, so did the ship.
It was now or never for her to figure out Teleport.
Somewhere safe.
It was a little embarrassing for her somewhere safe to be right in Cecil’s bedroom.
A lot had changed while she had been locked away.
The King had died. Rydia was missing. Edward was injured in Troia. Kain refused to even be in the same room as her.
The entrance to the throne room had been sealed off to everyone except Mysidian Mages. She only ever managed to catch a few glimpses inside, and saw what appeared to be childlike statues.
Cecil, Cid and Yang haad explained what happened to Kain and Rosa. It was the only time she managed to get him in the same room as them. He was horrified that something like that had happened to children. Something he could have stopped.
Rosa tries to tell him it’s not his fault, that he was being controlled.
Kain refuses to hear any of it.
Rosa catches him on the skywalk, looking out at the city of Baron.
She hugs him and tells him things will be alright.
Kain hugs her back, and tries to believe her.
“I guess I’m fired as your Bride’s Guy?”
Rosa laughs.
“You’re not off the hook that easy.”
Rosa’s going to be twenty soon. Cecil is actually accepting her affection towards him, now that “darkness” wasn’t clouding his mind. Cecil suggests having Edward compose something for the wedding. Yang tells them he knows a great dancer that could perform for their wedding. Cid tells them that his daughter knows everything one would need to know for planning a wedding. Kain cracks a smile in the first time in a while.
This version of the wedding is the dream. The most talented musician she knows, playing a lovely tune as Kain walks her down the aisle. Kain officiates the wedding. He gives the best man of honor speech. Fabulian Dancers perform. It’s almost perfect. Her father would have prefered the groom be a Dragoon after all.
In the underworld, her dreams are almost crushed as Kain is taken from them once again.
It’s not as hard as the first time. This time Rosa knows without a shadow of a doubt, that that wasn’t the real Kain. That he was being used by someone.
By Golbez.
At least, she thought it was Gobez. A trip to the moon changed those thoughts.
A man called FuSoYa claimed to be Cecil’s uncle. He also claimed that something within the moon was controlling Golbez. And Rosa knew that was the same force controlling her friend.
Once they had taken down the giant, and Golbez was no longer under the control of the entity in the moon, she knew Kain would come back to them.
Edge yelled at him, flat out refusing to trust him. It took all her power not to slap the ninja.
Kain was a victim in all this, just as they all were.
Edge could fight all he wanted as soon as they were out of the robot that was quickly falling apart.
All forces had all regrouped in Mysidia.
Rydia almost broke Edward again after meeting him again for the first time in what was for her years. The Twins climbed Cecil, demanding to know what had happened while they were gone. Yang and Cid caught up, telling each other of how they both got blown up. Edge kept an eye on Edward, making sure he wasn’t putting a move on “his” girl. Edward told him that he should maybe tell her how he felt before they went to the moon, to which Edge tried to explain why he couldn’t and left. Rydia taught Palom some black magic spells, and Porom stood by for damage control. It was peacful.
But this couldn’t last. Not until they went to the moon and ended it themselves.
Cecil and Edge tried to keep Rosa and Rydia on planet, insisting they could handle it on their own.
Rosa kindly forgot to remind Cecil of the time he forgot to pack potions when he insisted he would be fine without her the time he was sent on a mission to keep goblins at bay around Baron, and he almost died. She conveniently forgot to mention that when they met Edge, he had just gotten his ass handed to him by Rubicante.
Cecil and Edge made their way to the Lunar Whale first, and Kain followed not too long after.
Kain made a hand gesture at Rosa and Rydia and made his way up to the Whale.
Kain “conveniently” left the hatch open for them to make their way on board.
So they stowed away, waiting until it would be too late for them to turn back to emerge.
In the meantime, Rosa started planning the last wedding. Rydia would be her maid of Honor. Porom could be the flower girl, Palom could be the ring bearer. Edward could play their wedding. Yang would ask the dancer if he would perform. Cid insisted on making a big surprise for them. Maybe she could get Edge to tell Rydia that he actually likes her. And Kain. It wouldn’t be right without Kain.
And she thinks that her father would want Kain to be the one to give her away.
They almost don’t get the chance to have the wedding as Zeromus blows them all away in one devastating hit.
But somehow, all their friends share their power with them, giving them a second chance to bring peace to their world.
Everything was perfect.
She had the dress of her dreams. She was marrying the man of her dreams. She had a lot more guests than she ever planned on having. New friends. It was almost perfect.
Rosa was almost late to her own wedding. She waited and hoped Kain would come back. Even just for a day.
It wasn’t right without him.
He was meant to be here. Her best friend, who had suck with her through thick and thin. He wasn’t here and that was what hurt the most. He didn’t say goodbye. He didn’t even leave a note.
She had been planning her wedding since she was about six years old. And in every version, he was right there next to her. She never considered he wouldn’t be around to share this day with her.
Edward played a song.
Rydia gave a speech.
Yang’s dancer friend gave a great performance.
Edge got drunk, and gave a tearjerker of a speech, or tried to at least, he was very drunk.
Cid released the surprise, as new ships flew above the kingdom, confetti covering everything.
Palom and Porom tried to stay awake to enjoy the festivities, but passed out as the night drew on.
Cecil and Rosa were now King and Queen.
It was almost perfect.
Rosa hoped that Kain could figure out what he needed to figure out.
She would be happy as long as he was happy too.

1st post for the month of August 2017! And it's the 'Clash of the Reds'. Yes, a belated write up for Kyuranger episode 24!!!
NOTE: This recap-view is for the episode that aired on Sunday, August 6th, 2017 07:30 JST. It was initially meant to be published last week, just a few days after it was broadcasted (precisely on August 8th). Unfortunately, the plan got sort of derailed. Long story short... the social media detox that was only planned to last for a week, got unexpectedly extended for another because I was bedridden afterwards. So yeah, hence the long delay. But not to worry, recap-view for episode 25 will arrive very soon to make up for that!
- Assuming the show will be 48-49 episodes in total, that means it's officially around its halfway point. Yes, eventhough things are already feeling so heavy and serious, we still have HALF a season to go from here! NOTE: If it's 48 episodes in total, that means this episode marks the end of the first half. If it's 49, then the next one (episode 25) serves that purpose. - We should know by now that Kyuranger isn't the type of show that likes to drag plot points. This episode is just another solid proof of that. Just three episodes in, and Tsurugi's facade of bravado has been peeled away, revealing a more sentimental true personality. Interestingly, we also get to see him struggling with memories of the past. I wonder if it's in a way, implying that Tsurugi is suffering from a... war PTSD? O_O. In order to get to the bottom of this, he needs to know 'the truth'. Thus, he sends out Spada and Raptor on an important mission. Which of course, also serves as the show's usual excuse for characters to be absent from the episode. Not that I'm complaining... - But the two aren't the only ones who need to be... benched out. This episode is clearly a double focus for the Reds, as they try... or rather, 'forced' to work out their differences. Hence... it doesn't even take long for everyone else (sans Commander Xiao, who stayed on the Rebellion) to get literally swallowed by our MotW, Malistrate Gabbler! IMHO, this right hand of Tecchu is a scary MotW that should really have had higher rank in the Shogunate. Why? With his ability alone, he actually succeeds in taking down SEVEN Kyurangers all at once! WOW, right? - Anyways, eventhough he doesn't approve Tsurugi as Kyuranger at first, Lucky begins to... sense there's something 'wrong' with Tsurugi. Commander Xiao wisely helps him realize, that the 'legendary hero' tends to act the complete opposite to his words. Proof? Tsurugi's boasting about immortality, eventhough he had already lost that ability before his cold-sleep. And hearing a holographic projection of Don Armage making fun of his fallen comrades, causes him to lose his composure. Symbolizing that inspite of his words that dismissed them as 'expendables', he actually CARED for them. Also, he's telling the Kyurangers to be his shield, yet he's the one who does that to protect Lucky! Oh the irony... - Speaking of being a 'shield', the show introduces a new character in this episode: Kuervo (VA: Daisuke Namikawa, who previously voiced Engine Speedor in Go-Onger). He's one of Legendary 88 Warriors that represented the Corvus Constellation System, their strategic advisor, and also a personal close friend to Tsurugi. He was the one whom Tsurugi refered to as 'sacrificed his life for him', during the battle against Don Armage in the past. Thus obviously, he's the one responsible for leaving behind a deep 'scar of friendship' in Tsurugi's heart. Fun Trivia: The word 'Cuervo' is actually the Spanish word for 'Raven/Crow'. And yes, in case you're unaware, Corvus is the Crow Constellation! So as always, TOEI isn't even trying to be subtle when it comes to names. LOL. - Intriguingly, assuming Kuervo's truly dead, then that means there's only one sole candidate who might end up becoming the new Don Armage: Olion (whom you can see using a sword and a mostly white outfit in the flashback scene). Remember my theory that proposes Olion as the Darth Vader of the show? This reveal just adds that notion. Then again, we never really witness Kuervo's body (just like Scorpio) as well, so anything's still possible here. Beside, we also know how that much-hated Jedi eventually became Vader? Meaning we can't rule out anyone yet, because the rule of death is pretty much flexible in science-fiction. - Lucky challenges Tsurugi to share his story (get it? his-story? XD), even if just to put them both on the same page. Instead, that makes him understand the reason behind his stand-off-ish demeanor: Tsurugi simply doesn't want to sacrifice any more comrades in battle. Aaaaaw... T_T. That's why he wants to deal with Gabbler and Tecchu alone. So yeah, someone's definitely having a lone survivor syndrome! Tsurugi even proves that point, by taking Lucky's Leo Kyu Globe as hostage, to prevent him from joining the fight. Fun fact: I just realized. True to his 'Soldier' namesake, Tsurugi is acting like a drill-sergeant. Showing all tough and mighty bravado on the front, but secretly tries to protect his comrades. He even has his share of warfare PTSD. That's a really good angle right there. - Due to the duration, of course said twist doesn't last long. Tsurugi gets into a fickle due to his previous wounds, and Xiao and Lucky arrive to save the day. The younger Red then proposes a new 'system' to Tsurugi's face: "If the current saviors... and the old savior work together... We... can create a new legend!". So yeah, ignoring the fact that it might have arrived a tad too quickly (I WAS expecting more resistance and stubborness)... the 'Rivalry of the Reds' has been resolved. It shouldn't come off as too surprising though, as Draco Commander says it best... "Say what they will, these two get along pretty well.". Indeed, they ARE actually two of a kind. Probably the reason why they're both Red, right? LOL. - While Draco Commander distracts Tecchu, the duo works together to free the other Kyurangers. Good timing, because they are all (including the mechanical ones like Balance and Champ, the joke's on them) almost on the verge of having all their life energy drained! With none of them being fit enough to join the fight (thus preventing any of the mecha sans Gigant Phoenix to be used), it's up to the Reds to handle the giant battle as well. Taking down Gabbler is easy, but what can they do when Tecchu decides to tag along? That's when a miracle occurs. Or in the words of Tsurugi, "It's about to be truly legendary!". - Yes, the other 10 Change Kyu Globes (including those of Spada's and Raptor's... who are busy tinkering around with a lever-like contraption) join the battle in their own free will! They boost the power of Leo Voyager and Phoenix Voyager, thus forming... the 12 Kyu Globes combination, Kyutamajin. Gotta admit, it's a rousing and exciting sequence. As for the robot itself, when I first saw the catalogue picture, I thought the new combo looked weird and odd. But now that I've known the concept and seen it in action, saying I've warmed up to it would be a huge understatement. Because I'm actually DIGGING this combination! Sure, some parts still looks a bit awkward (like the giant ball on top of the head), but this is a smart design, that unites all 12 heroes in one mecha without overdoing it. And this is coming from a guy who actually liked those messy-complicated clusterfuck formation in Go-Onger and last year's Zyuohger. LOL. In a way, it's a solid mecha. - The problem is, only the two Reds are using Kyutamajin! And knowing how the internet works, this has surely rubbed some fans in the wrong way. Of course, since this episode aired two weeks ago (once again, this recap-view is a week late), everyone should know by now that there's a logical reason to why only Leo Red and Phoenix Soldier are sharing the control of this mecha: because the others are being saved for episode 25! LOL. Then again, it's not like the Reds aren't hinting about it throughout this episode. I mean, they ARE repeatedly asking the tune of, "Can we really move it with just the two of us?". They're not even being subtle about it. I guess impatient fans wouldn't be able to see these hints past their complains, huh? LOL. NOTE: Kyutamajin isn't even using its ultimate finisher in this episode. "Kyutamajin! Meteor Booster!" is a just a secondary attack that only manages to take down Gabbler. Don't forget, Tecchu is still at large! - Tsurugi officially joins the team, as proven by his Kyuranger License. Yep, the one that Kotarou delivered for the team at the start of the episode. Something that even Xiao hasn't owned before (hence why he 'forgot' all about it, huh? LOL). It's nice to see all 12 onboard the same ship, right? Hold on, the question here is... what about Spada and Raptor? - Turns out, they are in Planet Tocky of the Horologium System, in search of the Horologium Kyu Globe. Why? Because Tsurugi wants to use it... to travel back in time, and see with his very own eyes, what really 'happened' to Don Armage. Yep, time travel is the show's next big arc! And this discussion comes at the right time, because Spada and Raptor pop up on the communication screen with a 'distress call'. Why? Because something is going on in the Planet that can't be handled by only the two of them... A few additional notes before I wrap this up: - Bandai Japan released a Special "Henshin Series" episode after this episode was aired. And it was.... hillarious as always! I thought the company was going to release one after every episode (they should, tbh), so it was a bit of a bummer when the series stopped four months ago in episode 6 (following Mr. Pega's short-lived debuted). The fact that the previous extra members (Xiao and Kotarou) haven't had their time in the spotlight yet, also added to the disappointment. So obviously, the arrival of this special episode was more than just a pleasant surprise. That's right, because all extra members get their chance to show off! Interestingly, this video didn't include Phoenix Soldier's henshin pose. Does this mean we'll be getting another one in the future? Especially with that rumored new transformation gadget? Here's hoping... - More movie scenes can be seen in the opening, as well as the new trailer that debuted after the episode. There were two standouts from them. First, Leo Red is using Herakles Kyu Globe in the movie, to somehow deal with the Kerberos one. Second, there are obvious scenes hinting that Commander Xiao is killed in the movie. Remember, this is Japan and their habit of spoiling things in advance. Eventhough the movie is doing really good! Then again, should we really believe that Xiao is dead? I seriously doubt it. Just look at what happened to the Kamen Rider Ghost's summer movie last year... LOL. - Haruka Tateishi (Amu of last year's Zyuohger) is giving an exclusive on-location tour for Kyuranger's G-Rosso action show. Go ahead and see it, it's all kinds of fun. Makes you eager to see her character returning to meet the Kyurangers in the upcoming Versus Movie, right?
Overall: Tsurugi's 4-part debut arc has come to a close. Thanks to the show's swift pacing, it didn't take long for the legendary soldier to get grounded and humbled down. Even his signature arrogance has already been taken down more than a notch, revealing a more painful and broken nature. I love how he and Lucky seems to exhibit contrasting personality from one another, while in actuality, they are still the same color. Yes, the conflict between them got resolved a little too quickly for my taste. Then again, it also proved my point that they are basically two of a kind. And in a way, Tsurugi was welcomed to the team in an organic manner, so I'm not complaining. Overall, a great albeit imperfect episode, with a stunning but equally imperfect debut for a new mecha combination. But that's because the next episode will be... something else! You'll see... Next week: Prepare for tissue, because Kotarou is giving us all the feels! PS: Expect the recap-view for Episode 25... in just a few hours from now! ;D
Episode 24 Score: 8 out of 10
