First off, happy holidays if you celebrate! Second: I don't know if you're interested, but I had a head cannon I had to yell at someone, and since you enjoy MASH, I thought I'd share :)

So, throughout the series, we see Hawkeye and Margaret's relationship growing from total animosity and antagonism to definitely dear friends by the end. And there's also sparks of attraction there, too (and not just Hawkeye making bawdy comments)! Realistically, I don't know that I could see a full-on relationship either during or after the war. They both seem to want totally different things in life.

But... what I like to think is that they kept up correspondence after the war and maintained their very close friendship (that is akin to friends with benefits but kind of more? Like very emotional too?). They are the one person the other can lean on in times of sadness, anger, and frustration, but also joy and happiness and delight. Also, but... they totally are so passionate when they're together.

For example: Margaret gets married again. Things don't work out. She retreats to Maine to get away, and when they're together, Hawkeye totally takes care of her (if you know what I mean 😉 ).

Maybe alternately, Hawkeye has a bad breakup or something sad happens in his life. Margaret is there for him and they're soft and tender with each other.

So, tldr: Hawkeye & Margaret are besties that have a physical relationship when they need someone to hold, and they love each other dearly!

OUGH, this is such a dear series of thoughts and I'm so tender about all of them!!! ;v;

Honestly this is the way I most often see their relationship going postwar, that deep queerplatonic love for one another, colored warmly by them no longer being afraid of their mutual attraction. It's true, they might want different things in life, but they were two of the few people who were in that hellscape together from the very beginning. They've witnessed each other's growth in ways that they never could've fathomed happening when they first met. It's impossible for them to pretend that there isn't a part of their souls that are intrinsically linked now after surviving all of those horrors.

I really do believe that regardless of where either of them might settle down after the war, their orbits will inevitably make them meet up over and over again. They can be catty and playful with each other in a way that is difficult for them to find with anybody else. And god knows them entering into the era of free love will provide many delightful opportunities for them to hook up without as many judgmental eyes on them for doing so.

Anyway, sorry, I'm rambling, but I am tender :) Thank you for sharing!!

Okay so this'll be the last post I make regarding Critical Role until c3e119 airs since while the antipathy and, for lack of a better word, deflation revolving around 118 has been a little disheartening, I do want to throw a few things that continue to bounce off the inside of my head out there before we get to the next episode;

I don't think it's needed (as someone who very much wants them all to survive - including ones I like less than others - and be able to continue figuring themselves out) for BH to die or be betrayed or be subject to additional punishment to justify what's happening. This fight IS their punishment, their consequence, their Finding Out after Fucking Around

Also, if the gods refuse to help BH - if asked - it proves Ludinus right. Refusing aid would indicate that they really are picking favourites out of self interest, plus the taking on Predathos option was only proposed to BH by one of their own, so it'd be double scummy

Campaign 3 has still had some great, funny and heartbreaking moments that we shouldn't forget about just because these current events are fresh, plus C1 and 2 weren't perfect - worth reminding that too

Honestly, if FCG were alive the same thing would've happened anyway; Matt would've made the coin flip be indecisive so the cast could make the choice and Imogen would've chosen the same way

While we definitely could've built to this better, this fight will provide the floor for BH to confront a key character motivation; be it preventing the overtaking and corrupting influence of a malicious or feral psyche, having to decide whether to trust that their ally can overcome it or follow through with what a superior entrusted them to do as a countermeasure, or simply trying to protect and prevent another friend from dying - which, alongside the likely map change and expected unique minis, is actually kinda exciting

Just, let's go into 119 with an open mind, okay? They have to earn it for sure but it's not over until it's over.

Was daydreaming trying to visiualize a breakfast scene for a fic I will never write. A kid charachter was adding sugar to his tea thelephatically while his mom was adding cold water again telephatically and it was like oh to be raised by people whom understand our powers and nurture them. To see the effects of big things in small, natural ways.

Then I realized they are American, they wouldn't be drinking tea and the kid for sure wouldn't be drinking tea and I was left with the hole a well written meaningfull scene I cannot put in left behind.

Hello Stray community! After two months of work, I'm excited to bring your attention to this video!

Someone by the name of "Балвд лыжыэфэф" on YouTube extracted over six hours of music and ambience from Stray's game files. This is an amazing resource, full of extended tracks, ambience, and cut content.

What it lacked, however, were time-stamps. The description included a list of all the audio files that were extracted, but nothing to indicate when a track ended or began, nor where it played in-game.

So, I did all that! Almost every track in this video is now time-stamped, with listings that show where everything plays in-game. I made a comment that listed everything as it appears in the video, and one that lists everything as it appears in-game. I also made a list of some motifs. I couldn't help myself.

This was a lot of work, and I'm so thrilled to share it with you all. If you're looking for a song that was never or only partially included in the OST, you'll find it here! And if you find any mistakes, please let me know! Enjoy!

anxiety started to spike high (from pre concert excitement and nerves) but for once!

i was able to snack a v little bit (u know my anxious ass is worried abt bathroom access/locations as usual lmao so I'm trying not to consume much until the show is over), got my Lamotrigine taken (bc god forbid i miss a day, then i have to start back at square one and take my dose down to the lowest again which doesn't feel 100% true? but im not arguing with the doc lol)

And let myself have an edible and like. i can feel the anxiety and nerves just under the surface, like milk on the oven boiling and it gets that thin skin over top? it's like the anxiety is little spikes trying but failing to poke completely thru the skin so far (why are there spikes in the milk in this metaphor? don't worry abt it bc i don't know either, this is just where it ended up; we took this journey together)

and like yeah that's not perfect but. it's such a lovely difference, even if I'm still more tense and prone to an anxiety attack rn than I'd like to be. But even this is so much better than it was off the Lamotrigine, and it's nice to see it might be working again (tho i also attribute Housemate's help and going with me to the concert tonight with helping me on this, it's like. if my brain sees i have someone new to the event who might need my help navigating, it lowers the Anxious Mode and heightens the Caretaker/Dad Friend Mode enough for me to be braver than usual. I want aer to have as good a time as possible, and we're keeping it v low key with like. not being up in the main pit, staying to the back and planning to hang out some in the venue halls while the openers play, so the GA/pit doesn't overwhelm either of us, tho it seems the metal scene out here is p chill from what we can tell? But yeah. I can't always be brave for myself, but i can do it for a friend. and also partially for the fact that I'll be in the same room as Avatar for at least 2-3 hours aksnfkfngn)
