aita for being frustrated when my dm gave us the very base skeleton of a campaign premise and asked for our characters and so i gave him a character concept i’m very excited about only for him to expand on the lore more in a way that makes it impossible for my character to exist.

#me: so my character is an elf and shes about 120 years old and she works for the elven government #and she's dealing with having been recently cut loose by them #dm: the elven kingdom was destroyed 250 years ago and they were so thoroughly destroyed that another culture has moved into the ruins #whatever i very firmly feel like this campaign is going to fall apart quickly so i'm saving her for another campaign.#i should make another character who killed herself those are always a bummer and make people regret asking.#carly.txt
