advice needed: so im an admin for an rp and whenever a member comes to the admin account, which im mostly in charge of, and it's something i think needs an "emotional" response i pass it to my other admins because im really bad at being emotionally supportive. like you need logical advice im your man, but emotions are not my forte. and the thing is, i dont want to always pass it on to them, cause i feel like thats unfair to do to them all the time. so any advice?

if i’m being honest , i can’t tell you how to be emotional . all i can tell you is to approach these situations as if you’re the person asking . what advice would YOU want to hear ? it’s just being empathetic , but also being a listener . saying ‘ hey , i acknowledge this , and it making you feel this way . let’s discuss how to make it better and fix it .’  but , also ,  if you can’t find yourself able to help others , emotionally , then don’t push yourself to . emotional labour for others can be very taxing at times .  but also know that people are coming to you BECAUSE they feel comfortable talking to you and your team . that’s something you should pride yourself on . people don’t always come to admins when there’s a problem  . emotions aren’t everyone’s forte, sure , but you’re also an admin , sometimes you need to put that aside so you can BE an admin . don’t become a therapist , or counsellor , by any means , but maybe take time to listen and put yourself in other people’s shoes and think about how they’re feeling and why they’re feeling it . i know it’s hard , because sometimes you’ll be like ‘ i don’t understand what the problem is or why it’s a problem ‘ , and honestly ?? valid. but,  all you can do there is be honest and say ‘ i’m sorry. i don’t understand , but i’m trying to . could you please explain more about how you’re feeling , so i can try and help ? ‘  

i hope this helps . sorry I’M not more help . i really like helping people and their emotions so i can’t super relate to this , but i’m trying to , and i think it’s really nice u want to up your game and improve this part of urself , so u can be a better admin to the team and ur group !

honestly? prior to the bathroom, he didn't cope with it well. he feels very safe when he's got a standard routine to function within, actions and tasks he's used to performing + ones he can rely on. after the bathroom, though, he very slowly learns to embrace it - the life he led before will never be the same, but he can heal and learn new routines, learn to roll with it. it's a slow change (and we have this in common too), but I'm right there cheering for him (along w diana!) the whole way <3

🐞 - what makes your f/o squirm?:

I think we all think of lawrence as the one who dispatches bugs whenever they get into the house, and for the most part that's true, though he's in the habit of catching them if possible and releasing them outside because diana (and myself, actually) asks him to - when it comes to earwigs and other similar creepy crawlies though? that's where I come in lmao!! I'm spooked by them too but he catches the spiders and such for me so I take care of those for him. (there Might be a bit of noise though. they still freak me out lmao)

the way I see it, I think wren had to adapt to sudden (and often drastic) change from very early on, so I think he can handle it pretty well + he's able to get through it when it happens. I always make a point to let him know that he doesn't have to do so alone, because I know what events led him to handle change like that, and I'm able to recognize if he's mentally removing himself + promptly offer comfort/reassurance in whatever way I can.

🐞 - what makes your f/o squirm?:

he's spooked by spiders and wasps. to be fair, I am also afraid of those, though spiders I'm able to handle much easier than he does so he just comes to me like "there's a spider in my office,," and I'll come get it out of there!! when it comes to wasps though that's when we have to go get chuck djkhkd he's just a very "fuck around and find out" kinda person so he's not rlly afraid of 'em like we are.

and iida just reflexively catches him and kami is like awed for a whole ten seconds bc holy shit iida is ripped bro didn’t even STUMBLE

but then he hears bakugou screeching and he slaps iida’s shoulder like “RUN IIDA MY LIFE IS ON THE LINE HERE” and iida is like yknow what i needed to find room in my schedule to run today anyway. so off he zooms

after that All of class 1-a want the experience of the Iida Hold after kami hyped it up so much (��bros he’s like a firm pillow like he’s so ripped but he holds u so gently?? im so bi”)

after kami, ashido probs gets in on it and i think this is where iida (first) drops his orange juice so fuckin rip. ashido makes it up to him later tho they make their own orange juice and its v good

after ashido hagakure gets in on it and like rip iida bc he couldnt even rlly see her so suddenly theres just this Weight in his arms and hagakure’s voice right next to his ear jkdjk. he almost drops her but he keeps her safe UGH we love him

but yea the rest of class 1-a just kinda follow after that,,,any chance it’s even mildly possible, one of iida’s classmates while take a running leap at him. iida was accepted his fate

but yea,,,izucrew would go NUTS w this information that iida loves to hold his friends,,,one time uraraka and midroiya run at him at the same time and iida panics for a whole three seconds before he catches BOTH OF THEM

both r so flustered while iida is like “YOU GUYS ITS OKAY IF ONE AT A TIME BUT TWO AT ONCE IS DANGEROUS FOR YOU AND FOR ME PLEAS-”

after that it’s just a free for all Constantly class 1-a just lvoes their rep so much,,

baku is probs the last person to straight jump into iida’s arms but im thinkin during some training exercise w class 1-b, bakugou gets spooked by something and like propels himself in the air w his explosions and lands in iida’s arms. he doesnt let go until theyre done but then bakugou’s like “okay u can drop me four eyes” “ur the one that was holding on for so long bakugou-kun” “listen fuck-”

anyway nony this is a golden concept and it is what i am HERE FOR!!!! iida holds his friends......he keeps them safe and warm...thank you
