Hallmark fans will likely think of When Calls the Heart first when it comes to Erin Krakow (its star and an executive producer), but she’s also all over the network’s movies, both rom-coms and Christmas. When TV Insider caught up with Krakow in April about her latest Hallmark Channel film, The Wedding Cottage, we also took the opportunity to have her reminisce on some of her past work — including the first season of the long-running drama.

“I feel like I’m really living it out with every project that [Hallmark] offers me. I’m so grateful for the characters I’ve had the pleasure of playing and that I’ve been able to executive produce on When Calls. It’d be an interesting new challenge to direct something for Hallmark maybe one day and maybe write something someday,” she told us of her Hallmark bucket list. “I don’t know. I would be curious to know what others would want to see from me if maybe there’s a different kind of character they’d be curious to see me play. But I don’t know that there’s anything that’s screaming at me right now. I’m feeling very happy and grateful with what I’ve been given.”

“Season 1 feels like a lifetime ago and sort of just yesterday all at once. It’s this bizarre feeling. But it was a really exhausting and incredible chapter of my life. And I continue to feel so proud to be a part of When Calls the Heart and grateful that the Hearties have kept us on the air all these years, that Hallmark continues to believe in our show. Season 1, I think we filmed it in 2013, [and] it aired in 2014. It was a long time ago. And the show has changed and grown a lot since then. But looking back, I just feel a lot of pride to be a part of it.”

Father Christmas Trilogy (2016, 2017 & 2018)

“This is when I first worked with Terry Ingram, who directed The Wedding Cottage. He directed Finding Father Christmas. That was a great trilogy. The books were written by Robin Jones Gunn. I’m not saying that to toot my own horn, I truly felt like they had a lot of heart, and they were important stories to tell because not everyone has the cookie cutter family with the happy traditions around the holidays. And I heard from a lot of viewers that being able to see Miranda’s perspective around family and around the holidays was refreshing for them, to get to see something reflected back to them that represented their own journey. So I was proud to be a part of something a little different in that story.”

“This was my first time working with Tyler Hynes, and he was fantastic and so just present on set and a great person. This was also a very bold script written by Kathy Kloves. I think we were both really taken by how different this story was, and it was a really brave choice for Hallmark. I think they were doing something outside the box a little bit here. The story of a woman who falls out of love with her fiancé and into love with his brother is a tricky line to walk. So Tyler and I were very cautious about how we handled it, but I think we were both super proud of that love story. And it seems like our viewers must have loved it because they’re still talking about it and really campaigning for a sequel.”

 Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia (KPAI) menyebutkan kasus kekerasan terhadap anak di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung sudah tinggi sehingga perlu upaya bersama agar anak-anak di daerah itu bisa tumbuh dan berkembang dengan baik."Jumlah kasus kekerasan terhadap anak di Babel 117 kasus dan ini sudah tinggi," kata Anggota KPAI Diyah Puspitarini di Pangkalpinang, Sabtu.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir: Surah Al-Isra Ayah 33

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

17:33 And do not kill anyone whose killing Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause. And whoever is killed wrongfully (not by mistake), We have given his heir the authority. But let him not exceed limits in the matter of taking life. Verily, he is helped.

Prohibition of Unlawful Killing

Allah forbids killing with no legitimate reason.

And do not kill anyone whose killing Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause.

It was reported in the Two Sahihs that the Messenger of Allah said:

The blood of a Muslim who bears witness to La ilaha illallah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, is not permissible (to be shed) except in three cases:

·       a soul for a soul (i.e., in the case of murder),

·       an adulterer who is married, and

·       a person who leaves his religion and

deserts the Jama'ah.
The following is recorded in the books of the

Sunan:

If the world were to be destroyed, it would be of less importance to Allah than the killing of a Muslim.

And whoever is killed wrongfully, We have given his heir the authority.

The authority is over the killer. The heir has the choice;

·       if he wishes, he may have him killed in retaliation,

·       or he may forgive him in return for the payment of the Diyah (blood money),

·       or he may forgive him with no payment, as is reported in the Sunnah.

The great scholar and Imam Ibn Abbas understood from the general meaning of this Ayah that Mu`awiyah should take power, because he was the heir of `Uthman, who had been killed wrongfully, may Allah be pleased with him, and Mu`awiyah did eventually take power, as Ibn Abbas said on the basis of this Ayah. This is one of the strangers of matters.

But let him not exceed limits in the matter of taking life.

They said: this means the heir should not go to extremes in killing the killer, such as mutilating the body or taking revenge on persons other than the killer.

Verily, he is helped.

Dewi Handajani, menghadiri Louncing Universal Healt Coverege (UHC) Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional, sekaligus penyerahan piagam penghargaan UHC kepesertaan JKN-KIS oleh BPJS Kesehatan di GSG Pekon Gisting Bawah Kecamatan Gisting, Selasa (22/08/2023). Turut hadir dalam acara tersebut Wakil Bupati Tanggamus Hi. A.M. Syafi'i, S.Ag, Dandim 0424/Tanggamus Letkol Inf Vicky Heru Harsanto, S.I.P.,M.Si, Wakapolres Tanggamus Kompol Agung Ferdika, S.H.,M.H, Ketua PN Tanggamus Eva Susiana, SH.,M.H, Ketua PA Tanggamus Ibrahim Lubis, S.HI.,M.H, Kadis Kesehatan Prov. UHC merupakan cakupan kepesertaan Program JKN yang dikelola oleh BPJS Kesehatan untuk memastikan minimal 95% dari total jumlah penduduk telah mendapatkan akses finansial terhadap pelayanan kesehatan dengan mendaftarkan dirinya atau didaftarkan menjadi peserta JKN. “Target yang dicanangkan Pemerintah Pusat di Tahun 2024 yaitu 98% mudah-mudahan Kabupaten Tanggamus bisa memenuhi target tersebut dan berharap tahun depan keseluruhan masyarakat sudah terdaftar,” ujarnya. Masih kata dia, komitmen yang tinggi Bupati beserta jajaran dalam memastikan perlindungan kesehatan di Kabupaten Tanggamus, seluruh penduduk sudah dijaminkan melalui JKN-KIS. Akses pelayanan BPJS kesehatan yang lebih baik ke depan. BPJS akan melakukan transformasi mutu layanan yaitu; pertama, layanan Mudah artinya sebagai peserta aktif JKN, cukup menunjukkan KTP saja sudah dapatkan pelayanan, kita kalau kemana-mana yang selalu dibawa pasti KTP, misalkan dalam keadaan darurat tidak membawa kartu BPJS tidak masalah pasti akan dilayani dengan cukup tunjukkan KTP saja. Kedua, pelayanan Cepat. Artinya tidak perlu menunggu lama antri di layanan kesehatan, bisa daftar secara online yang terkoneksi sistem kita di layanan kesehatan. Ketiga, pelayanan Setara, artinya tidak ada perbedaan dalam pelayanan, tidak ada diskriminasi karena pelayanan, Pelayanan yang mudah, cepat dan setara bisa dirasakan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat dalam meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat. “Selain itu, BPJS Kesehatan bersinergi dengan program Pemerintah dalam upaya penurunan angka stunting,” terangnya. Sementara itu, Bupati Tanggamus Hj. Dewi Handajani, S.E.,M.M. menyampaikan, Pemerintah Kabupaten Tanggamus sangat bersyukur. Karena program JKN-KIS yang diamanatkan kepada BPJS Kesehatan menjadi program strategis yang mendukung misi Pemerintah Kabupaten Tanggamus, terkait penguatan pelaksanaan perlindungan sosial di bidang kesehatan. The Second Sermon of the Prophet

On the second day of the conquest, after the noon prayer, the Messenger of God went up the ladder of the Kaaba, leaned back the Kaaba, praised God and addressed the people as follows:

“O people!

There is no doubt that God rendered Makkah haram and untouchable on the day He created the skies and the earth, the sun and the moon; it will remain haram and untouchable until the Doomsday.

It is not permissible for a person who believes in God and the hereafter to shed blood and to cut trees within the boundaries of the Haram of Makkah. To shed blood in Makkah was not permissible before me and it will not be permissible after me, either.

Those who are listening to me here should convey what I say to those who are not here.

From his point onward, the family of a person who is killed will have two choices. They will want either the killer to be executed or blood money to be paid to them.

There is no doubt that the most disrespectful, ferocious and fiercest person toward God Almighty among people is the one that kills a person or kills a person other than his murderer or that kills a person in order to take revenge remaining from the Era of Jahiliyya.  

A person cannot attribute himself to anybody except his father or a relative of his fathers. A child that is born belongs to the owner of the bed.

It is the duty of the plaintiff to bring evidence to prove his claim and it is the duty of the denier to swear an oath.

There is no Jahiliyya treaty in Islam or migration after the conquest.

A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim; all Muslims are brothers. Muslims are like a single hand against their enemies; they act in cooperation.

The bloods of Muslims are equal to one another. They try to fulfill their duties; the weakest of them try to fulfill even the most difficult ones.  

Know it very well that a believer, a Muslim cannot be killed for an unbeliever; nor those who have vows among them can be killed for unbelievers living in the land of unbelievers due to their vows.

There is no exchange marriage without dowers in Islam.

A man cannot marry the aunt of his wife while he is married with her.

It is not permissible for a woman to give away the goods of his husband without his permission.

A woman is not allowed to go on a three-day journey or a longer one without being accompanied by one of her mahram men.

Know it very well that a will is not necessary for inheritance. Members of different religion cannot be the inheritors of one another.

The diyah of one finger is ten camels. The diyah of a deep wound under which the bone is seen is five camels.  

No prayer can be performed after the morning prayer until the sun rises. No prayer can be performed after the afternoon prayer until the sun sets.

I prohibit you from fasting on two days: One of them is the day of eid al-adha, the other is the day of eid al-fitr.

I showed you the way that you can understand.”

The Duties of Siqaya and Hijaba are left to the Same People

The Messenger of God stated during the Sermon of the Conquest that all of the transactions, tasks and cases of the Era of Jahiliyya except the services of Siqaya and Hijaba had been abolished.

Siqaya, which was the duty of giving water to hajjis, belonged to Abbas, the uncle of the Prophet.

Hijaba, which was the duty of serving the Kaaba, belonged to Uthman b. Talha.

Abbas applied to the Prophet and asked the Prophet to give both duties to him. However, the Messenger of God regarded it appropriate for him to maintain the duty of Siqaya only as he did it before the conquest.

The Messenger of God was holding the key to the Kaaba. Many Muslims were expecting to have this honorable duty. However, the Prophet summoned Uthman b. Tal­ha and recited the following verse: “God doth command you to render back your Trusts to those to whom they are due; and when ye judge between people that ye judge with justice.” Then he said, “O Uthman! Here is your key. Take it. Today is the day of goodness and keeping promises.”Then, he gave the key to the Kaaba to uthman.

When Uthman b. Talha took the key and started to walk, the Messenger of God said to him, “Did what I once told you not happen?”

Uthman b. Talha remembered the incident and conversation between him and the Messenger of God and confirmed him:

“Yes, I witness that you are definitely the Messenger of God.”

The incident and the conversation that the Prophet wanted to remind had taken place as follows:

It was before the Migration. Uthman b. Talha had not become a Muslim yet. Once the Prophet wanted to enter the Kaaba but Uthman b. Talha prevented him. Let alone preventing, Talha treated the Prophet rudely and unpleasantly. The Messenger of God did not get furious; as if he had seen the victory of Islam in the future, he calmly and leniently said, “O Uthman! One day will come, I hope you will find me having this key and the power of being able to give it to anybody I wish.” Uthman b. Talha said, “It means the Quraysh will have been eliminated then.” The Prophet said, “No, O Uthman! The Quraysh will attain the real power and honor then.”

Makkans Pay Allegiance to the Prophet

After declaring a general amnesty, the Messenger of God went up the Safa Hill and accepted the allegiance of the Qurayshis. Many years ago, he had declared his prophethood there but he was rejected then. Now, he was accepting the allegiance to Islam from the same people on the same hill.

The allegiance of men to Islam and jihad witnessing that there was no god but Allah and that Muhammad (pbuh) was His Messenger was followed by the allegiance of women.

The Allegiance of Women

The women also paid allegiance to the Prophet by promising not to associate any partners with God, not to steal, not to kill their daughters, not to fornicate and to protect their chastity.”

Among the leaders of the women who paid allegiance were famous women like Um­muhan, Hazrat Ali’s daughter, Umm Habiba, As b. Umayy’s daughter, Attab Ibn Asid’s aunts, Arwa, Abu As’ daughter Atika, Harith b. Hisham’s daughter and Abu Jahl’s son Ikrima’s wife Um­m Ha­kim and Khalid b. Walid’s sister Fatima. Hind, Abu Sufyan’s wife, about whom the Messenger of God said, “Kill her wherever you see her”, was also among them. She disguised herself and joined the women so that she would not be recognized. She regretted what she had done against the Prophet and Muslims in the past. Despite what she had done, the Messenger of God forgave Hind, who had become a Muslim, and accepted her allegiance.
