You know what, anon? I really respect that attitude. As someone who's already seen more bad, misinformed takes than they ever wanted to, your mistrust of the wider fandom is both valid and justified. If you want something done right, especially when it comes to something as widespread as a ship name, nine times out of ten you've just got to do it yourself.

yes this is only because the most common platonic duo name i see for ethubs is divorceduo and i think calling it "divorceshipping" is objectively hilarious

i get the need to differentiate from platonic duo names but defaulting to regular ship names like ethubs, scarian, etc. was such a missed opportunity on our part. we should've done it 4kids anime style where the fans just named the ships after fuck all
