The prince could feel the heat of Beerus stare as if it were burning against his head, his entire body was tense, tail coiled tightly around his waist as his heart pounded heavily in his chest.. Vegeta's pride burned, the humiliation of groveling, it left a bitter taste in his mouth but he knew better. Any hint of defiance would only aggravate the situation further than it needed to and it took every ounce of his willpower to submit. He could only hope Beerus's patience would hold long enough for him to correct his error.

"Y-yes, Lord Beerus!" Vegeta kept his head bowed, his voice trembled ever so slightly at the feeling of a lump forming in his throat. "It was foolish of me. I...I assure you, it will never happen again." His eyes flicked quickly towards the dragon ball, then back down to the ground, desperate to retreive it but knowing better than to move without permission. His gloves crunched under the pressure as he clenched his fists tightly, trying to muster a calm he didn't feel. "Please, lord Beerus, allow me to retrieve the dragon ball and make amends for my mistake." He remained as still as possible, ready to spring into action the moment Beerus gave him even the slightest indication of permission.

Trunks approached Vegeta with a hand crafted Two Star Dragon Ball but the stars were replaced by artwork of the two of them in Bulma's armor as Super Saiyans.

"It took me a long time to make this but I hope you like it."

" Trunks, I'm not impressed by sentimental junk, and I wonder how you got this photo in the first place. " He took the trinket and looked it over. " Instead of playing arts and crafts, you should be focusing on your training. "

Oh she went there. All sorts of emotions were flying through the Prince's body at this moment in time. He really could not compete with this woman. No wonder he settled with her in the end with her level of persistence and sass.
