Movie remakes need to stop. Entirely. No more. Videogame remakes are okay because the idea is to make the game again but this time the creators have access to much better technology, but lines should be drawn there too. Like I think that if a game is less than a decade old it probably doesn’t need a remake (atm, anything made post 2015 probably won’t ever need a remake though. Looking at the newer Assassin’s Creed, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, Horizon, etc games idk how we could possibly make that better quality, whereas 1997 Final Fantasy VII and 1998 Resident Evil 2, with all their boxy models, definitely deserved an update over two decades later)
