—  He’s  always  alone  . Even  when  he’s  in  a  roomful  of  people  ,  he’s  alone  .  Even  at  home  sitting  on  the  sofa  right  next  to  his  mother  ,  he’s  alone  .  People  don’t  acknowledge  him  until  they  feel  as  if  he’s  a  problem  .  So  it  comes  to  Arthur  as  a  surprise  that  this  stranger  approached  him  .  How  does  he  answer  ?  Because  people  choose  not  to  notice  him  ?  That  he’s  alone  because  society  has  abandoned  him  ?  He  digresses  .  Hawk  like  eyes  examine  her  with  certain  caution  ;  if  only  she  knew  that  it  was  only  a  few  weeks  ago  he  was  kicked  down  in  an  alleyway  and  beaten  up  by  a  group  of  children  simply  because  they  thought   he  was  a  bad  clown  .  

—  “  I  don’t  know  ,  I  just  ...  ”  he’s  torn  between  brutal  honesty  and  a  fib  ,  though  he  decides  to  be  partially  honest  with  her  but  evades  the  point  of  the  question  entirely .  “  I  always  come  here  .  Every  Friday  .  ”  he  says  .  Pogo’s  comedy  club  was  his  favorite  place to  go  .  He  sits  in  the  same  seat  every  week  ,  journal  splayed  out  next  to  a  glass  of  bourbon  he  never  actually  drinks  .  (  He  orders  it  because  he  sees  the  other  guy’s  ordering  it  too  and  he  seeks  to  fit  in  . )  Arthur  takes  notes  at  what  other  people  seem  to  find  funny  and  forces  out  an  unnatural  laugh  along  with  the  crowd  .  Odd  stares  are  shot  towards  him  often  times  when  he  laughs  out  of  sync  .   “  Are  ...  you  here  alone  too  ?  ”  And  no  one  ever  picks  the  seat  at  the  table  with  him   —  they’d  even  stand  at  the  back  of  the  club  rather  than  finding  themself  sitting  next  to  Arthur  .  But  here  she  is  ;  speaking  with  him  shortly  after  filling  the  usually  empty  seat  and  Arthur  is  still  trying  to  wrap  his  head  around  this  blip  in  the  matrix  .

𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍: Anything really. Things will just hit me and be like, yep, that totally fits for whatever I'm woring on in that moment.

𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 𝐁𝐄𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐔𝐑𝐋: No real story. I used to have all single blogs, which I can pull up if anyone needs, and then I put them all in a multi. I used to be writingxthexsilence, but some things transpired that I felt needed to be distanced from my blog so I changed the name to what it is now.

𝐅𝐔𝐍 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐓: I'm currently working on myself to try and get back into acting. I've only ever done plays and the one film project I was in fell through, then I had kids and put everything on hold. But now that my kids are older I don't want to go my whole life without ever trying it out. I love acting and hope I can get a few projects here and there just for fun.

every once in a while, dimitri would venture out and check out new and underground bands' gigs. tonight, he heard talk of a band called broken dolls playing, and without having better to do he decided to go.

he stood in the crowd, thankfully undetected by anyone considering how dark the club had been inside. there were a lot of people to his surprise, but he wanted nothing more than to just enjoy the show. with every song that played, he nodded along to the music, a grin on his face. they were good, the tall blonde in particular. he found his eyes locked on her for most of their performance until it was over. he decided on heading over to the bar for a drink before approaching the band with a smile as they left the stage. "hey, i just came to say you guys fuckin' rock."

Max was right, Henry really needed the rest in order to heal but he was having such a hard time doing so. He just lost his parents and longtime girlfriend in an accident he got them into. How could he just rest with all this guilt? He looked at his friend. He was glad that he at least had Max here.

"I know... It's just hard after everything."

the words it's a date replayed in her mind over and over. she hadn't felt this giddy over a boy since she was a teenager. as she heard the sound of the car coming around the corner, her street so secluded that sounds echoed, her excitement only grew. his text making her slightly nervous. she took a few seconds before going down her steps to be ready to answer the door. she knelt down to the floor, giving her cat a gentle pet as if to say goodbye for the day as she waited for axel to ring the doorbell.

"It's a date." He echoed like a promise, that contagious smile pasted on his lips before he took his leave.

Axel was admittedly nervous. He'd been on dates before but for the first time he felt like she was totally out of his league and he didn't want to fuck this up. After getting home he cleaned himself up, changing into something casual but still suitable for a date. A pair of jeans and a plain tee, taking into account the heat, he wanted to wear a jacket but knew it would be impractical. Once he'd finished getting ready he checked his pockets for his keys, phone, and wallet, patting himself down like he'd lost his lighter. Once he was certain he had everything he'd need he grabbed his jacket anyway just in case the temperature dropped, tossing it in the back seat before he headed over to pick up Ivy.

He sent her a quick text when he was nearby just to let her know that he was going to be arriving soon. His heart beating hard in his chest as he rounded the bend and her place came into view.
