I call this “family portrait” 🤣😂 We took the kids to Disneyland after school. Sort of spur of the moment... it was probably one of our best trips yet. Sometimes I think we plan and prepare too much. We try to take the kids on as many rides as possible and end up rushing. But on this day, we just went with the flow, slowly walked, took in our surroundings, and utterly enjoyed ourselves. I guess there’s really something to going in without a plan and slowing down a bit. We decided to give @lamplightlounge a try. Hubby used to take Hailey there when it was Ariel’s Grotto. When she was small and loved the Princess Breakfasts. So he hasn’t been there since... since Hailey is almost 17 now 😱. The boys and I have never been, so it was an all new experience for us. We loved it! There was a lot to keep the boys busy and interested. From the water fountains going off at random around us, to the roller coaster and Farris wheel, to the fun fizzy drinks and menus to draw on, we all had a great lunch. Hubby and I even decided on trying to make it out again without the kids. (Just don’t tell the kids 🤪). Last weekend was our kid’s joint Birthday party. As a surprise, we hired @losangelespartyprincess to take the boy’s party up a notch... or fifty. The Darth Vader & Stormtrooper parody characters were a huge hit. They really just took over the party, and all we had to do was sit back, relax, and enjoy watching the kids have fun. This was literally the first party that we’ve had for our kids, where hubby and I truly had the chance to enjoy the party. Darth Vader and his Stormtrooper had an EPIC lightsaber battle with all of the kids, they organized games and took pictures, they were fun, but also sweet and caring with the children. They even organized the entire cake and Birthday song portion of the party, sang with everyone and just really did an amazing job. We couldn’t be happier with Princess Party Productions. Two Romantic Disney Dinners, and a brain tumor, 11 years apart.

My hubby Adam and I had a fairytale Disney Honeymoon back in 2004.

One of our favorite memories was a romantic dinner at Epcot’s Coral Reef Restaurant. Our server was AMAZING! He treated us like royalty, bringing out duck and lobster dishes … it was a royal splurge and we enjoyed every last bite!
