Disneyland Re-Opens Today‼

After a long 13 month closure,Disneyland and Disney California Adventure opened the flood gates for anxious guests,who started lining up for the park hours before the 9:00am opening time.

The park has closed only twice in its history the first after the assassination of President John F.Kennedy and the 1994 Northridge earthquake.

Walt Disney Co.Executive Chairman Bob Iger and Chief Executive Bob Chapek waved at guests as they entered the park,which is only open to residents of California at this time.

Disneyland Paris (until 1994 Euro Disney Resort or Euro Disney Resort Paris,from 2002 to 2009 Disneyland Resort Paris) is a 2,230-hectare leisure complex in the municipality of Chessy,belonging to the Ville nouvelle Marne-la-Vallée , 32 km east of Paris, France.

Main Street USA begins after the entrance area of the park. Here are mainly restaurants and shops. Similar to the other Disney parks, it leads to the so-called x"hubx" in front of the castle, from where visitors have access to all the different themed areas of the park. The architecture is inspired by Marceline in the state of Missouri,the city where Walt Disney grew up. In addition, there is the opportunity to have yourself styled or shaved by a hairdresser in the style of the turn of the twentieth century. Behind the facades of the buildings run parallel to the Discovery Arcade and Liberty Arcade (promenades and discovery miles). In addition, the official Disney parades take place on the main street. The Disneyland Railroad–Main Street Station,the x"main train stationx" of the Disneyland Railroad,is also located here. By train it is possible to bypass the park and get a complete overview.

Frontierland - This area is modeled after a typical Wild West backdrop. Frontierland is home to the Darkride Phantom Manor, which is themed as a ghost train. It's also home to the Big Thunder Mountainfamily roller coaster, where trains traverse the lake around Big Thunder Mountain through an underground tunnel and ride up the mountain against the backdrop of an old mine.

Adventureland - In Adventureland, visitors can follow the paths of well-known adventurers such as Indiana Jones or explore the fairytale town of Agrabah. A pirate-style adventure playground to Pirates of the Caribbean is also available for children.

Fantasyland - The Fantasyland theme area is particularly geared towards younger visitors. The attractions are designed around well-known fairy tales adapted by Disney. Particularly well-known is the x"Sleeping Beauty Castlex", the Sleeping Beauty Castle in the center of the park with some shopping facilities.

Other attractions include x"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,x" which tells the story of Snow White and includes elements of a ghost train. x"Peter Pan's Flightx" – Peter Pan's flight is a gondola lift that flies over the rooftops of London into Neverland. Here is also the x"Alice's Curious Labyrinthx", which ends in the castle of the Queen of Hearts. x"Pinocchio's Journeyx" tells the story of Pinocchio and the boat trip in x"Le Pays des Contes de Féesx" (The Fairytale Land) depicts fairy tales such as Snow White, Peter and the Wolf or Aladdin. x"Casey Jr.x" is a beautiful, x"slowx" family roller coaster located behind the maze.

Discoveryland - In Discoveryland (x"Land of Discoveriesx"), the visitor experiences, among other things, the fictitious future of Jules Verne.

The focus of the theme area is the indoor roller coaster Space Mountain: De la Terre à la Lune,opened in 1995. In April 2005, the roller coaster opened after a conversion phase as Space Mountain: Mission 2 and left the classic Jules Verne theme with the new appearance inside the attraction.
