Disneyland Re-Opens Today‼

After a long 13 month closure,Disneyland and Disney California Adventure opened the flood gates for anxious guests,who started lining up for the park hours before the 9:00am opening time.

The park has closed only twice in its history the first after the assassination of President John F.Kennedy and the 1994 Northridge earthquake.

Walt Disney Co.Executive Chairman Bob Iger and Chief Executive Bob Chapek waved at guests as they entered the park,which is only open to residents of California at this time.

Muita água ainda vai rolar! Mais um profissional de VFX denunciou a Marvel sobre suas práticas abusivas de trabalho. Em entrevista à Vulture, o profissional citou um caso em que eles tiveram que modificar grande parte do filme pouco tempo antes da estreia. “Um ou dois meses antes do lançamento, eles pedem para a gente mudar todo o terceiro ato”, disse. O profissional também revelou que as equipes para os projetos são drásticamente reduzidas. “Todos os projetos da Marvel tendem a ter menos pessoas do que o necessário. Enquanto eu costumo trabalhar em equipes de dez artistas em filmes de outros estúdios, nos da Marvel são duas pessoas, incluindo eu”. Ele finalizou dizendo que, apesar de ser um trabalho abusivo e psicologicamente traumático, eles são um cliente muito importante e que traz muita credibilidade. Ele ainda citou um caso onde uma empresa não conseguiu terminar um trabalho e então o trabalho foi para com ele. “Uma companhia de efeitos visuais não conseguiu terminar o número de tomadas e refilmagens que a Marvel estava pedindo a tempo, então eles deram o trabalho ao meu estúdio. Desde então, essa casa foi efetivamente impedida de obter trabalho da Marvel.” Lembrando que não este não é o primeiro, e não parece ser o último, caso de denuncia de trabalho abusivo com a Marvel.
